They are experts at escaping predators like the wolf, bobcat, or lynx. When a predator chases it, the rabbit will quickly change direction. They are also good swimmers and will jump in the water to make an escape.

The Christmas festivities are preceded by a visit to the famous steam baths, after which everyone dressed in clean clothes in preparation for the Christmas dinner, which is served at 5-7 in the evening. Christmas gifts may be given out before or after the dinner. The children do not hang up stockings, but Santa Claus comes in person, often accompanied by as many as half a dozen Christmas elves to distribute the presents. The main dish of the dinner is boiled codfish served snowy white and fluffy, with allspice, boiled potatoes, and cream sauce. The dried cod has been soaked for a week in a lye solution, then in clear water to soften it to the right texture. Also on the menu is roast suckling pig or a roasted fresh ham, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. Mesa Verde National Park The park was created in 1906 by President Theodore Roosevelt, to protect some of the best-preserved cliff dwellings in the world Contrary to popular belief, the Ancestral Puebloan people of Mesa Verde did not disappear. They migrated south to New Mexico and Arizona, and became today's modern pueblo people. Now the park averages about 600,000 visitors per year. Crab. This crab can be found in Suruga Bay in Japan. Its body can measure up to 16 inches across, and up to 12 feet from claw to claw and whole the crab is weighing up to 40 pounds. It has an orange body and white spots on their legs. Japanise Spider Crab eats shellfish and animal carcasses and may live up to 100 years.
