England  is a  country  that is  part of the United Kingdom.  It shares land borders with  Scotland  to the north .England flag is red cross and a white behind.The rose is a symbol in England. The England national football team , whose home venue is Wembley Stadium , won the 1966 FIFA World Cup against the  West Germany national football team where they won 4–2, with Geoff Hurst scoring a hatrick. The red double -decker buses  in London have become a symbol of England. Robin Hood is fairy tale star . The airport is owned and operated by Heathrow Airport Holdings, which also owns and operates three other UK airports.

It started in 1829. Cricket is quite popular in Britain. It has spread only to the former colonies of Britain. One season lasts for 4 months and one game may last from 1 to 5 days.
