1. The Empire State Building .
The Empire State Building is a 102-story landmark Art Deco skyscraper in New York City at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street . Its name is derived from the nickname for the state of New York, The Empire State. It stood as the world's tallest building for more than forty years, from its completion in 1931 until construction of the World Trad Center 's North Tower was completed in 1972.
2. Central Park.
Central Park is an urban park that occupies about 1.2 square miles (341 hectares , or 843 acres) in the heart of Manhattan in New York City. It is host to approximately twenty -five million visitors each year. Central Park was opened in 1859, completed in 1873 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1963.
3. The statue of Liberty .
The Statue of Liberty officially titled Liberty Enlightening the World, dedicated on October 28, 1886, is a monument commemorating the centennial of the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence, given to the United States by the people of France to represent the friendship between the two countries established during the American Revolution.
4. Skyscrapers and the Stars and Stripes.

Built in 1929 as the headquarters of the Bank of Manhattan, this was intended to be the world's tallest building. The building became known for its 70th floor observatory and its 43 high-speed elevators.


Stars and Stripes:

The flag of the United States of America is a national flag. The colors in the flag are red, white and blue . The colors have no special meaning in the flag, but in the coat of arms white stands for purity and innocence, red for bravery and strength and blue for watchfulness, perseverance and justice. The flag is also often called the Stars and Stripes.

5. Chinatown.

New York's Chinatown is an ethnic Chinese enclave with a large population of Chinese immigrants and Chinese Americans as well as a long-standing Chinese cultural influence. Manhattan's Chinatown is one of the largest ethnic Chinese communities outside of Asia , while the Flushing Chinatown in the Queens borough of New York City has become the city's second-largest Chinatown, as well as one of the largest outside of Asia.


6. Wall Street.

Wall Street is a street in Lower Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA. It runs east from Broadway to South Street on the East River. There are several major U.S. stock on Wall Street and in the Financial District, including the NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX , NYMEX, and NYBOT.


7. The Chrysler Building.

The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco skyscraper in New York City. Standing at 319  metres (1,047 ft), it was the world's tallest building for 11 months before it was surpassed by the Empire State Building in 1931.


8. Ellis Island.


Ellis Island location is the mouth of the Hudson River in New York Harbor.
9. Broadway.
Broadway, as the name implies, is a wide avenue in New York City, which runs the full length of Manhattan and continues into the Bronx . It is the oldest north–south main thoroughfare in the city. The name Broadway is the English literal translation of the Dutch name, Breede weg.

Asian Americans are the country's second largest racial minority; the two largest Asian American ethnic groups are Chinese American and Filipino American. Over 80% of all Americans live in urban areas. There are 9 cities which have population more than 1 million people and 4 cities which have population more than 2 million people and these are New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston. At the federal level, there is no official language but English is most spoken language in America. There are 8 languages which have more speakers than 1 million people. Nearly 80% of Americans consider themselves as Christians by religion. But still there are Protestants and Roman Catholists.
