Formation: if + present simple, + will For example: If she gets good grades, she will go to university. Shopping - pleasure or obligation

Shopping - pleasure or obligation We need to do shopping almost every day. Because we had to buy meat, fruits and other food products. Furthermore people need medicines clothes and stationary. But buying isn't always obligation to demand basic needs. Perhaps it cab be pleasure. Right now huge department stores and supermarkets are very poplar places. In there you can do everything, start the day with shopping and end with eating. Positive is that you can find almost everything in big shop. Very exciting places for shopping is marketplaces, flea market and street markets like Portobello Road Market in London. There you will find collectible and antique junk. If you find something interesting you can bargain about the price. Then you feel what is pleasure of shopping. Shopping is very annoying if you have to go to the shop when you don't want to go. Like with mother or girlfriend. They always have to try all clothes and shoes when they g...

Capital punishment should be abolished

On the other hand, capital punishment is very inhumane. After the execution new evidence may appear and the criminal might turn out to be innocent but there is nothing to do because we can not bring back the dead. Another reason for abolishing capital punishment is the criminal's innocent family. The whole process can bring them serious trauma for years afterwards. In my opinion capital punishment should be abolished in Estonia because it is inhumane. I also believe that a person or a group of people should not have the right to decide about another person's life or death. No matter how serious the crime is.

Starts a race with time when Ryan tryes to find scared Jessica before, the line disconnects. Which I most liked in this film is that it's a thriller from start to end. And every little thing in this film is so detaild and that's why it seems realistic. I would recommend it to every person who likes actions and isn't afraid of blood. Couse this film is really worth seeing!

Why learn English?

Why learn English? Nowadays English plays a major international role. Personally I believe, that in order to survive in present society we have to, at least, know the basic English, because almost everything is based on English. Firstly English is the international language and knowing English shows the eruditeness of people, because every person who considers him or herself to be educated has learnt it. English has switched places with Latin, which once was the language of educated people. Not to mention the fact that people can use it for communication with eachother. In my opinion it is not necessary to learn that country's mother tongue while most of the people are able to talk in English. I find that English connects different people and helps us to feel like a big multicultural family.

EUTHANASIA

EUTHANASIA Many hotly debated social questions revolve around choice. Giving people access to assistance in dying is one of them. The issue is too sensitive to come to a smple conclusion. The basic question is : should a person who is terminally ill and who feels that their life is not worth living, who is repeatedly asking for euthanasia and who is of sound mind be given assistance in dying so that they could do it in a dignified manner rather than have their lives prolonged by medical technology? Ultimately, it's a question of choice: empowering people to have control over their own bodies. The main opposition comes from religious groups, medical associations whose members see

English Language ( inglise keel)

Modern Englis was greatly influenced by English used in London and changed a great deal until the end of the 18th century. The standart English today in known as BBC English. Spelling and pronaunciation seem to be the most difficult aspects of the English language for foreign students. English is very rich in synonyms. The huge vocabulary of the language is due to the free admission of words from other language. Old English had several inflections to show singular and plural, tense and person, but over the centuries words have been simpified. The loss of inflections had made English a very flexible lnguage. At present the English language encompasses the globe and is one of the major languages in the world. It has became a world language thanks to its establishment as a mother toungue outside Englnd, in all the continents of the world.

Why I have to learn English ?

Why I have to learn English? English is very important and useful language because a lot of people in the world can speak it. You need English language example when you are traveling and want to talk with local people. You need English also in Estonia when some tourist or other person who is visiting Estonia ask you to help her to find some place or wants to talk with you. You need to learn English when you want to go to some other country to study. It is usual that there are Universities in different countries in the world where is possible to learn in English. I don't know if there is any other university outside Estonia where you can learn in Estonian. You need to learn English when you would like to find new friends outside of Estonia

People whould have the rights to design their own babies

What is more there would not be any babies born with illnesses or disabilities, both mental and physical. This is good news both to parents and children because living together with a handicap or being one is a very hard and sad thing. Another major point is, how far would people go designing their babies. One thing is to make sure that your baby is healthy but to design your child's appearance is superficial, what is more, it is morally wrong. In addition the way one person looks is not as important as the personality. To sum people should not have the right to design their own children. The only thing parents should have the right to control is whether their child is going to be healthy and free from diseases.

Capital Punishment Should be Abolished

found to be innocent. Why is it wrong? Capital punishment is a barbarous survival from a less enlightened and refined age; it is incongruous and incompatible with our present standard of civilization and humanity. It has been abolished by many states and countries, and we must look forward to the day when all the governments will follow this. It's a murder. The first question that comes to mind is, is it ethically acceptable to kill someone? When you execute a person, what is the difference between you and the criminal who has committed the crime of killing another individual. Furthermore, capital punishment can be inappropriate and unjust. It's not necessary. There is always a solution to the problem, instead of putting people to death sentence we could simply put them behind bars as he or she may improve himself. For instance, persons who have served life sentences have

Should Cloning Be Banned ? essee

Should cloning be banned ? Cloning is using genetic engineering to make exact copies of living animals and plants. One of the most famous cloning processes involved a sheep named Dolly. The sheep was the first mammal cloned from adult DNA. Since then it has become part of real life and the subject of public debate. For some people, human cloning is acceptable in medicine in spite of the criticism that it is repulsive. Firstly, cloning the organs can save many lives. For example when a person needs an organ and can not find a donor, doctors could just give her the cloned organ. People would not need to donate their organs anymore. Secondly, parents who can not have children may wish to clone a child for themselves. Also endangered animal or plants could be cloned to rise their species. On the other hand, there are also many arguments againts cloning. Most cloned animals suffer severe medical issues and many...

Living in the countryside is boring

Living in the countryside is boring A lot of people say that living in the countryside is boring, I think it depends on how creative people can be. In addition there are many young people, who live in the countryside and they are really pleased with their lives, because they know how to make living there interesting, in spite of the difficulties they are creating a children centre, where all the young people can come together. Nevertheless there are a lot of children who won't even bother to do something to change their lives, although they will probably just be whining to their parents how boring it is in the countryside. In my opinion, living in the countryside is awesome. I think that people, who live outside of big cities are more tolerant and friendly. To sum up I have lived in countryside all my life and I am not complaining. I have friends here and I can deal with my hobbies. On the other hand I am not denyin...

The Advantages and Disadvantages of being immortal

What are the advantages and disadvantages of living forever? Scientists believe that in 30 years we have a technology, that makes possible to live forever. Being immortal has its advantages and disadvantages, which you can't just look over. Living for decades or even eons, a person gets the chance to see his future generations. It gives an opportunity to see, how fast the world changes every day. I think most people, who hear about being immortal, think that it would be great. But if they think about it, then they realise that it also has its bad side. For example, you won't grow older of the age you started being immortal, and you will always have the same look, just as 30 or 50 years ago. All the memories from your childhood will vanish in time.

Honesty is always the best policy Honesty is one of the first things that parents teach their children, and it is for a good reason. They say that honesty is the most valuable attribute in a person. But is it really the best policy? It isn´t always easy to remain totally honest in difficult situations. We have all lied to our close friends and parents, just for our own good. But the truth is that you always get caught with lying and it only makes things worse. Being dishonest may lead to serious consequenses amd you have to deal with them afterwards. Honesty isn´t only important in your personal life, but also in business. Being honest will help you get a good job and respect

Other techniques focus on delaying blindness, including one involving a capsule implanted in the eye to release proteins that slow the decay of light-responding cells. And with BrainPort, a camera worn by a blind person captures images and transmits signals to electrodes slipped onto the tongue, causing tingling sensations that a person can learn to decipher as the location and movement of objects. Ms. Campbell's artificial retina works similarly, except it produces the sensation of sight, not tingling on the tongue. Developed by Dr. Mark S. Var utan fördomar!

The Lean Startup summary

Due to the popularity of the lean startup philosophy, the book was highly anticipated prior to its release, and quickly became a #2 New York Times bestseller. The reason why I picked this book is because it was something that i found interesting and I thought I would really enjoy reading book about business. Eric Ries defines in this book a startup as an organization dedicated to creating something new under conditions of extreme uncertainty. This is just as true for one person in a garage or a group of seasoned professionals in a Fortune 500 boardroom. What they have in common is a mission to penetrate that fog of uncertainty to discover a successful path to a sustainable business. I learned about startup philosophy, which is used by both startups and more mature companies. This Book part´s are Vision, Define, Learn, Experiment, Leap, Test, Measure, Pivot or Preserve, Grow and Innovate. My favorite sentence from this book is “Those who look to

And reading books enriches vocabulary, so if people do not read books at all, their vocabulary would be quite small. On the other hand, learning different things like history and bilogy expand people's knowledge greatly. With learning so many different things one's brain and memory develops and that makes a person intelligent. In my opinion, students have to learn different subjects, even those that they find boring and let themselves be after graduating highly educated and smart participant of society.

He has got a long face, light brown eyes and dark brown hair. He also has quite big nose. Basically every time i see him in some news article or on the pitch, he has a different hairstyle. He mostly wears designer clothes. I think he looks fabulous. Ronaldo is said to be a stimulating person who can brighten social gatherings with his fresh and original ideas. He is also kind and humble because he takes part in many charity events and donates to peaople who are in need. Ronaldo in his free time likes to play tennis, swim and just hang out with his family. He also likes to listen to music when he is training . He is also said to be a very good table tennis player. Although Ronaldo’s popularity is rising, he is getting older and older. I

Reasons why people work

Reasons why people work In today's society it is known that people work because they need money to live. As Leonardo da Vinci said " God sells us all things at the price of labour " and unfortunately it tends to be true. However, there are still some of the other reason why people work. As Mothet Teresa said " Work without love is slavery" and fortunately there are many people in world who work because they love what they do. For example artists, musicians and actors do not earn a lot of money, however they can give the world something we need- entertainment. In addition to musicians, actors, and artists there are many other sincere, thoughtful and open-minded people who find time in addition to their daily work to help those who need help giving food to homeless people, helping children who are left without parents and taking care for the animals in the shelter. These people are doing this without ...

Report: The Free Rider Problem

The Example 4 Solution and Problems 5 The Main Economical Problem 6-8 Free riding Problem on Public Transport 9 References 10 2 The Political Problem A common example of a free rider problem is defense spending: no one person can be excluded from being defended by a state's military forces, and thoes free riders may refuse or avoid paying for being defended, even though they are still as well guarded as those who contribute to the state's efforts. Therefore, it is usual for governments to avoid relying on volunteer donations, using taxes and, in some countries, conscription instead. In the case of defense spending, alternative perspectives of the free rider problem also exist

Indigenous people in australia

Saunders, Captain Reginald First Indigenous commissioned army officer [faithinterface] Interesting facts: · When a mother gives birth to her baby, the father is not allowed to be there. · In some tribes, the father asks a "message stick" for the sex of the baby. If the stick is long, it is a boy and if it is short, it is a girl. · A baby does not get its name until it is one year old. Before the naming the Aborigines say the baby is not a real person. · Some Aboriginal people will avoid eye contact with you. This is especially so if the person is male and you are female and vice versa · Each time the word Aboriginal is written, it is to have a capital letter. This also refers to Aborigine. THE VALUE OF THINGS VS THE PRICE OF THINGS

Anna-Maria THE VALUE OF THINGS VS THE PRICE OF THINGS The price and value of things has changed a lot of over the times. Every person value things variously. It depends on people, what they think is important for them, some people value expensive things like diamonds or highly rated technology, some people on the other value things that are not financially valuable, like family, love or friends. The value of things is quite different from the price of things. A good example to prove it, is Apple. The price of Apple products are simply overrated. Iphone is like any other phone,

Coca-Cola esitlus

Company's first president. He established the Company's headquarter Candler Building, which was the first building higher than a steeple in Atlanta. The Coca-Cola bottle, called the "contour bottle" within the company, was created by bottle designer Earl.R.Dean. In 1915, the Coca-Cola Company launched a competition among its bottle suppliers to create a new bottle for their beverage that would distinguish it from other beverage bottles, "a bottle which a person could recognize even if they felt it in the dark, and so shaped that, even if broken, a person could tell at a glance what it was." At first, Dean's prototype never made it to production, because its middle diameter was larger than its base, making it unstable on conveyor belts. Dean resolved this issue by decreasing the bottle's middle diameter. Although the ingredients of Coca-Cola are listed on the side of the bottle or a can, the exact

Making a film

understand the content. Film-making is very expensive, even about 15 minutes long film can cost over 30,000 pounds to make. A low-budget feature-length film can cost more than 0,5 million pounds. Therefore, film-maker must be sure that audience will like the movie. Low-budget films in Britain usually begin with a script, which is written specially for playing in the cinema. There are courses over Britain for people who want to learn how to write a script. One person can't take the responsibility of the whole movie, because film-making needs to involve hundreds of people. Low-budget films are shot on limited budget, beacause young or unknown dircetors suffer from lack of funding from studios. Several organizations like The British Film Institute fund short films shot by first-time directors. Also The BBC, Channel 4 and National Lottery spend large amounts on film-making. After getting the money, the film-maker must think through every last detail

President of Estonia

Estonia didn't have a president from 1918 to 1938. This institution was intentionally left out of the first Estonian constitution, for its authors tried to avoid the concentration of power in one person's hands by all means possible. Estonia's constitution was amended in 1933, transforming the country from a parliamentary to a presidential state. The head of state, according to the new constitution, was also called the State Elder. Konstantin Päts became the first person to bear this title. His term was to last for six years, but ended short as Estonia was annexed by the Soviet Union in 1940 Konstantin Päts Lennart Meri Took office 6 October 1992 and left office 8 October 2001 ARNOLD Rüütel He took office 8 October 2001 and left office 9 October 2006 The current President is Toomas Hendrik Ilves elected by an electoral body on 23 September 2006.
