I only wish I could share more of it with you guys. I miss you all so much. Lots of love and kisses to everyone! Love Regina 3. Descriptions a) an object My bed in the dormitory is a bunk bed. It is a huge old light brown wooden piece of furniture. It squeaks when I switch sides or when I climb into it. I sleep on the second level and sometimes I am truly scared for my life. It is not as sturdy as I would like it to be. The bottom step on the ladder is loose and I know that one night I am going to fall thanks to that. It has carvings, but they are all scribbles made by previous sleepers. The mattress is worn out and needs to be replaced. It is stained beyond sense. At least it has not fallen apart, yet. b) a place Lausanne is a city in Switzerland which took my breath away, literally. It is one of the most beautiful places I have seen and it is simply filled with history.

January 17, 2014 Dear Sir/Madam I am writing to complain about the computer I bought at your store last week. When I tried to turn the computer on at home, it did not work. The screen was black and the computer made an odd noise. I performed in the manner as the user manual wrote. Since the computer was guaranteed for 2 years, I took it back to your store but the shop assistant did not help me. She was impolite and arrogant and she said that she could do nothing. I am most disappointed and require my money back or a new product. I hope that this problem will find a solution in a week. Yours faithfully Mari Mets (117)

Photography is a pretty expensive hobby and starting with it was quite difficult in the beginning. I had to take photographs with really poor cameras and more than once I heard how somebody was laughing over me because of my uncompetitive equipment. Still I remained selfconfident and full of determination. Time passed and I had enough money to buy a bit better camera and from this point, things started to go uphills. By the present moment I have achieved good results in different competitions and I am working as a photographer for two youth magazines. I have managed to buy myselt contemporary equipment what professional photographers would be very proud. At the moment photography has compensated itself fully. The best thing about it is that I am really good at something and people respect me because of that. I am proud that I had enough determination in the past that I did not give up my hobby.

Did you know that the sentence was first divided into subject and verb by Plato, the famed philosopher from ancient Greece? That was about 2,400 years ago! Ever since then, students all over the world have found it worthwhile to study the structure of words and sentences. Why? Because skill in speaking and writing is the hallmark of all educated people. Lesson by lesson, this book provides basic instruction in the eight parts of speech--nouns, pronouns, verbs,

If you ask foreigners to name some typically English dishes, they will probably say "Fish and chips" then stop. It is disappointing, but true that, there is no tradition in England of eating in restaurants, because the food doesn't lend itself to such preparation. English cooking is found at home. So it is difficult to a good English restaurant with a reasonable prices. In most cities in Britain you'll find Indian, Chinese, French and Italian restaurants. decide to change careers. Some of us will make radical changes, while others will move to the edge of their comfort zone, perhaps shifting from acupuncturist to homeopath or PR office to journalist. But the key to making the right decision, says Lees, is to bring your dream back down to life with a hard thump. "I always say to people, 'Find out what you will actually be doing in the job of your dreams. What does the nitty-gritty day-to- day work involve?'" Conversely, he says, people should not be put off by their dreams. "If you did a straw poll of the number of peoplewho think about changing career and those who actually do it, you'd be looking at less than 5 per cent. And yet it's never been easier. Portfolio careers are becoming normal and it's increasingly possible to make the change gradually by training part-time. One question I ask people is, 'What will happen if you don't do it?' The

Although conditions are generally good, there are one or two problems. Firstly, in large classes, there is not much desk space. Secondly, the classrooms tend to be darl, especially in the winter months. Finally, during video lessons, some of us find it difficult to see screen properly. There are number of changes that could be made in order to improve the situation. To begin with, I would strongly suggest that the number of students per class kept to below ten. In this way...

English. I started learning English in primary school at 3 grade and by watching movies I have improved my vocabulary a lot. I speak an intermediate level of Russian. I began learning it in fifth grade and all in all, I have learnt Russian for 6 years. I am nevertheless aware that learning a language within a classroom context is by itself, incomplete. So, in order to really be at ease in English, I feel that a cultural immersion would do me a lot of good. Through my language teachers, (whom are Estonians) I have learnt a lot about the life in America. Hence my desire to have first-hand experience of American life. I am particularly interested in experiencing family life in America, since it offers a cultural context that is undoubtedly different from mine. For this reason, I would very much like to find a nice family to live with in America. When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life

Education is commonly thought of as the job of schools. Adults cry "educate our children!" Everyone has opinions about the best way to do the job. It is of urgent importance, and all the
