Chocolate addiction

Chocolate addiction Anete Samelselg 2015 What is this addiction A person who is addicted to chocolate is called chocoholic. A chocoholic is a person who craves chocolate. There is some medical evidence to support the existence of actual addiction to chocolate. However, the term is mostly used loosely or humorously to describe a person who is inordinately fond of chocolate. The chocolate addiction happens mostly with women because they eat more emotionally than men. Why do people get addicted to it The essential components of addiction are intense craving for something, loss of control over the use of it, and continued use despite negative consequences. Studies have shown that people can exhibit all three of these components in relation to food, particularly food that contains sugar or fat. Since chocolate contains both, it is often used in studies of food addiction. Why it's bad

Its better to have any religion then to be atheist

you belive in God , you will always have someone to rely on even in the worst situations, and you will never give up as you would probably do, if you stayed against the misery alone, on your own. Secondly, i would like to point out that with having a God to believe in your everyday life becomes easier because you are not afraid of being killed or whatever due to your belief in fate. Also you think that He/She rules your life, and everything that happens , happens for better so virtually you do not need to be worried about anything because you know that it just has to be so. Finally, i would like to ephasize the fact that in most religions there are rules which you cannot break or you go to Hell. In a word, due to this fact, religious people are steady and even- tempered plus they are more likely to be polite than atheists.

Essay: online news and newspapers

and more comfortable and lazier. Old traditions and values are disappearing from people´s lives. For example- films are now in 3D and 4D, people can shop online, they don´t have to go to the library to borrow books- they can just get them for free or buy from internet E-books. And what´s main- newspapers are also disappearing, people read them online. Online news portals are eating newspapers out: they are comfortable, internet is accessible and fast and ofcourse, when something important happens on another side of the world, people can read information about it after 5-10 minutes, not like with newspapers, where information is available on the next day morning. I can say that, not like others, I prefer old-fashioned newspapers, because of the feeling what reading them offers. For example: fresh newspaper, which smells good on the table, morning coffee, turning pages and reading pleasure. Newspaper is exclusive. Only chosen ones can in the newspapers, space is limited and stupid

TSUNAMI Can race up to 805 kilometers an hour. At that pace, they can cross the entire expanse of the Pacific Ocean in less than a day. And their long wavelengths mean they lose very little energy along the way. In deep ocean, tsunami waves may appear only a foot or so high. But as they approach shoreline and enter shallower water they slow down and begin to grow in energy and height. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN IT HITS LAND? • A tsunami’s trough, the low point beneath the wave’s crest, often reaches shore first. When it does, it produces a vacuum effect that sucks coastal water seaward and exposes harbor and sea floors. This retreating of sea water is an important warning sign of a tsunami, because the wave’s crest and its enormous volume of water typically hit shore five minutes or so later

Buying on credit is an alternative way

First of all, credit card offer us a useful form of short term borrowing if you can repay your bill in each month. For example, when you are travelling or just need to unexpectedly make a ig purchase. However, before deciding to borrow money it is important to know if you will be able to repay it back in the future. People must know that free lunches don't exist and anyway they must pay later. PERSONAL OPINION In my opinion credit card is an ,,easy money" and often peole don't know what happens later. We should live according to our abilities and don't buy things when we haven't got enough money. CONCLUSION So, as you can see buying on credit is an alternative method and we should use it only then, when we know if we can afford the repayments.

Letter of protest

protest is an expression of bearing witness on behalf of an express A cause by words or actions with regard to particular events, policies or situations. But why people protest? What are the reasons behind protest? The first thing that comes to my mind is that people protest because they live boring lives. They have nothing to do or they can find excitement anywhere. When something as exciting as protest happens those people might join it just to reduce the boredome in their lives. The other reason why people protest is peer pressure. During revolutions and protests people start judging and criticizing those who don’t participate in the events. Under the effect of peer pressure the ones with low self esteem find themselves forced to take a direction just to please others and not because in what was going on. Those are some of the main reasons why people protest.

devoted fans, all the trekkies, warsies, twihards, potterheads and ringers (there are many more, with crazier names) prove us that stories can become more than entertainment. Of course, a story can change people without making them go to all sorts of conventions. Even the small ideas make a change. The main part in a story, the one that seemingly makes the impact, who guides the consumer through its change, is the protagonist. The development in the reader or the watcher happens through the transformation of the hero. Usually the main character starts off as an outcast, somebody the society sees as unimportant or too strange. Then something happens that sends the hero on an adventure. The breaking point on his road is meeting a teacher an encounter that gives him the ability to face the adversary of the story. In the end the hero faces his villain, emerges a winner, detaches himself from his outcast status and becomes a significant part of the society.

They watch for what happens in the house and that helps them to plan their crime. Recommendation: House-owners who have a garden should take a dog. Burglars are usually afraid of dogs. In addition, dogs bark if they hear or see something that does not belong in the garden. Conclusion Increase in crime is a big problem. Is global climate change man-made or not?

carbon dioxide. Over the last hundred years our society has been developing very fast: there has been built a huge amount of different factories, has been made so many inventions in all fields of human activity. Unfortunately only recently we have noticed that by making our life more comfortable and more enjoyable we destroy nature and cause appearance of ozone holes which are directly connected with global warming. On the other hand many scientists believe the world's warming and cooling happens in cycles due to various factors and Earth is starting a cooling trend after a long warming trend. That way global warming does not depend on people's activity. We have seen and heard so many times how was discussed the problem of global change but there is still no answer what is the reason of that. At this moment we just can make some supposition and hope that some when we will find the right solution.

Aitamiskiri

If I were you I would go into the nature and relax for a while. Rest for some time and when you feel ready and calm you should start revising. Figure out what went wrong and learn as much as you can. Try to explain yourself what you did in every exercise. If you know how to explain what you are doing and why are you doing it you can't be wrong. The more you learn the smarter you are. It's as easy as that. I'm sure you will pass the exams and get on with your life. Let me know what happens and don't remember to rest. Good luck, Auntie Claire

Tolerance and diversity (essee)

Tolerance and diversity. People from different nationalities living in our country, they are obviously already a quarter of our population. Therefore our country´s population has several diversities. Firstly, I am going to discuss about how a minority in the population of our country. almost 20 percent of all the people in Estonia are Russians. Many of them live on the east side of our country near the Estonian-Russian border. It often happens that they do not speak our language. This creates tensions between people our country. Secondly, since there are differences in the population inside our country, there are differences in the language, aswell. For example, there are regions on bigger towns where in the streets I can hear only Russian. most older and middle aged people can speak in russian. Since there are main language in our society, most jobs inquire speaking them, too. Young Russian-

Harsher punishments will reduce the amount of crime

Harsher punishments will reduce the amount of crime.

can vary from a minor offence to even a murder. But how can we reduce the amount of crime? Are harsher punishments the solution? Firstly I think that if the punishments are as weak as they are now, it won't make the criminals think. They get punished and still commit crimes. Probably the biggest punishment for a petty theft is community service which isn't much of a punishment. It gives the feeling that a person can do what he wants, live like he wants and nothing happens. Furthermore I think that the life in prison is actually quite good. A place to sleep, food and people. Many prisoners who get out of prison are not afraid to go back. They have a stable life there and they are satisfied On the other hand I strongly believe that everything starts at home. People who live in a criminal neighbourhood or in a family with criminal reputation, are not afraid of the punishments. They even find it kind of exciting and it is like a game to them.

The pros and cons of working as a fisherman

The pros and cons of working as a fisherman

But still, it's an advantage. In my opinion, the biggest advantage of being a fisherman is that you can travel a lot. My grandpa was a fisherman and he has been to North America, Africa, Siberia (not with the train) and Iran and most European countries. So he has got many stories to tell from buying a monkey to the storm in the middle of Atlantic. If you are a fisher you surely will have a spectacular life. I guess they get paid quite well too, mostly depending on luck. Sometimes happens that you are said to catch sprat but you get herring and the other way. Being a fisher means that you can't see your family too often, you can get seasick, what's really bad, because imagine that you are travelling across the Atlantic and you puke after each meal. A sure disadvantage is your catch, because your payment depends on how much you catch. If you lack of luck, then I advise you to not become a fisher. Also that job is dangerous, too

Before I go to sleep by S.J Watson

I am reading a book called ,,Before I go to sleep" by S.J Watson. This book has 384 pages and I have read 50 of them. The book is about Christine, who loses her memory when she goes to sleep and has to start afresh every time she wakes up. It's quite hard seeing it through her own eyes as each day she wakes up and can't figure out where she is. Everything has to be explained to her by a man who tries to persuade her that he's her husband. She begins to keep a journal, writing down what happens to her each day as recommended by her doctor who calls her each day to remind her of her journal and where it's hidden. Each day she reads what's previously written in her journal, and is extremely confused as she can never remember the previous entries. I think that in the end of the book Christine will get her memory back, and she will realize that her husbend Ben is bad guy. I hope that they will devorce and Christine will find someone who she can trust and be happy with.

Gym Hazards

Gym Hazards

fainting. Today's gyms are packed with an array of equipment so beginners should be given detailed, individual induction. The most common problems are repetitive stress injuries: inflammation of tendons, fractures of the bone etc. People often find themselves exercising one muscle more than another so they may end up with some muscles more developed than others, or even getting bigger in the very places they want to reduce or firm up. This happens when woman fail to lose fat as the same time as they build muscle. The modern idea that everybody has to join a gym is just ridiculous. Walking, swimming, rowing and dancing have all been found to be good all-round forms of exercises. The key to sticking with exercise is to make it fun, and if going to the gym seems boring or painful, there is no need to do it. Berthe Valdaru

The soul should always stand ajar-ready to welcome the ecstatic experience-

“The soul should always stand ajar, ready to welcome the ecstatic experience.”

ESSAY "The soul should always stand ajar, ready to welcome the ecstatic experience." -- Emily Dickinson I have chosen this quotation because I think it is more than true. I think that you should always give a chance to every offer you have given. At least you should make a try for it. We have given only one life to live, we should not waste it. First of all, I think that everything happens for a certain reason. And every bad thing that will come to your life will come also because of something. For instance you have done something bad and then it would be like some kind of punishment and also a good lesson. It will show you that what goes around, comes around. It is karma and I believe in karma. As mentioned earlier, you should always be opened for new experiences and opportunities. That is so because they are meant to be come for a better life

“What does success come from?”

become successful in his life while the second one whom I agree with believes that careful planning is the most important cause of our success in life. Careful planning may be simply considered as preparation that can be understood that one identifies his aim, lists his steps, and does a research if necessary. Analyzing it in that way, we can know why it becomes the most important cause of success. An English saying goes: "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunities". With such a careful plan, I am sure that we will have enough abilities to realize a lot of opportunities and seize them. Having prepared, one will be able to have a general look at the opportunity. He can evaluate the chance so as to know whether or not it is good for him. As a result, he can minimize the outcome, maximize the income and avoid the failure as well. Therefore, his way to success

Capital punishment-essay

Capital punishment (essay)

Sandra Demitseva Capital punishment The opinions on capital punishment are usually based on justice and moral. There are people who believe that an ideal community should be merciful even to the ones who have not shown mercy, but there are also people who think that violating the rights of fellow members of the community, particularly if it happens consistently, should be punished as severely as the death sentence. Most Christians are firmly against capital punishment, because they believe that there is some good in every person, even if he does not show any regret for what he has done. Not all people are as mature as to have such forgiveness in them. On the other hand this type of forgiveness cannot be a groundsel for the larger community, because it requires that you should really know the person that is in question.
