An Integrated Framework for Encouraging Pro-environmental Behaviour: The role of values, situational factors and goals Linda Steg*, Jan Willem Bolderdijk, Kees Keizer, Goda Perlaviciute Selles artikklis räägitakse, millises ulatuses ja mille kaudu võivad erinevad strateegiad põhjustada püsiva ja tugeva keskkonnasõbraliku tegevuse.
To: Ms Johanson From: Mari Mets Subject: The factors Estonian students consider important when choosing a job Introduction The aim of this report is to analyse the results of two surveys into the information about which factors Estonian students consider important when choosing a job. The two surveys were carried out in 2005 and 2013. At the end of the report there are some possible reasons for the changes. Grow of importance To start with, the importance had grown 14% for the pay, 15% for the work atmosphere and 20% for work/life balance. The pay has stayed the same in the ranking of importance but the ranking of work/life balance has dropped from fourth to second place. Fall of importance

Academic success in my culture: the most important factors Stanislav Stõkov MASB11 Academic success is determined by a wide range of factors. For some students, they may not have all of the perfect components, but they rise above their difficulties to have success. Whether a student is gifted academically or not, an important factor is personal determination. Students, who invest more of their free time in their studies and make more effort in lectures than their peers, generally have higher levels of academic achievement. A key component to success is a student's work ethic. Students who are willing to put
“It's like everyone tells a story about themselves inside their own head. Always. All the time. That story makes you what you are. We build ourselves out of that story.” Patrick Rothfuss When talking about identity, it´s creation is a very important moment. To understand it, I was always thinking practically – I created a character, like in a movie or a book. What should happen first with the character, what factors influence the creation of individual identity? I agree to Giddens – person isn´t born with identity, everyone has to build and develop it during the whole life. Many factors play their own roles in this process, and I think the first factor is a family. All mayor impressions about culture, religion, relations we carry through life starting from families, especially parents. Secondary factor, what comes to characters´ life is neighbourhood and friends.

Southwest Airlines has been the most successful airline in the industry over the past three decades. It is the preeminent low-cost air carrier in the United States, providing air transportation service between more than 60 American airports. Founded in 1971, the mission of the company was simple – make it less expensive to fly than to drive between two points. At first glance, Southwest's approach did not seem like a recipe for success. The most common types of eating disorders are anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. Why do some people start with such harmful nutritional habits? Firstly, one reason for this could be media. Advertisers heavily market weight-reduction programs and present anorexic young models as the paradigm of sexual desirability. Also, clothes are designed and displayed for thin bodies in spite of the fact that few women could wear them successfully. Another thing to mention is genetic factors. According to studies, anorexia is eight times more common in people who have relatives with the disorder. This disease will become apparent after some kind of psychological shock. Finally, even their families can give negative influence. Although, almost every parent knows how important right nutrition is, there are also some people who behave differently. Sometimes some ignorant parents even urge their children to lose weight.

problem in cattle farms worldwide. It is the most common ocular disease of cattle caused by bacteria Moraxella bovis. This study focuses on IBK despite having low mortality rate and complete recovery, it causes significant loss of productivity in the herds affected due to the costs of treatment and considerable impact on afflicted animals, including blindness. This research is focused on the details, such as risk factors, pathogenesis, etiology, clinical signs prevention, transmission, and treatment, which animal handlers should be aware of to minimize the harm caused by IBK. Vaccination does not ensure lifelong immunity and not prevent a primary and reinfection of the cattle. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the cattle in a healthy body condition to assure a high immunity level, which helps the body to defend itself against the disease. This study is based on scientific articles from different magazines

Estonian University of Life Sciences Report on Soil Microflora By Katrin Vares Tartu 2013 Introduction The purpose of this report is to define soil microflora and establish the importance of it. Since the microorganisms clearly play an important role in preserving the balance of life, the next objective is to look into factors that influence this balance. Natural conditions and cultural impact could be considered as the variables that correlate the most with the activity and composition of microflora, hence some of the natural and cultural factors will be looked into a little more in detail. Definition, composition and importance of microflora Saunders Comprehensive Veterinary Dictionary (2007) cited by the online medical dictionary
and leading people. Role of civil service has increased by every age- becoming more and more wider in tasks, obligations and responsibilities, so have the cost that it all brings. Considering this, governments nowadays have a task to evaluate the work of their civil service, to make it more productive and cost-effective. For this, different methods have been discussed, being influenced by different contexts, religion and other factors. Constant pressure on civil service forces governments to improve its performance and make it more and more effective. With a “help” of New Public Management and its rationalism and managerialism public management and civil service has been influenced in many countries either voluntarily or under duress. Due to new public management public sector has become more like private sector putting emphasis on instruments that

Some affect the heart’s muscle, valves or rhythm, but most conditions are caused by the hardening or clogging of arteries. Coronary artery disease is associated with the hardening of arteries that supply blood to heart muscle and is, in most cases, preventable and even treatable as it’s often found to be caused by poor lifestyle choices.1 These lifestyle choices include unhealthy dietary choices, lack of exercise and cigarette smoking. Other risk factors appear to be diabetes, high blood pressure, stress and history of heart disease running in the family. 2 A plant based diet is solely based on foods that are derived from plants. Individuals who follow a plant based diet exclude all animal products from their diet. They don’t consume any meat, dairy products or eggs, as well as other products that are either derived from animal sources, or are processed and contain traces of those products. A plant-based diet

Concrete is used more than any other man-made material in the world.(slide) Moving on, the durability of concrete can be defined as the ability to remain serviceable for at least the required lifetime of the structure of which it forms apart. However there are many factors which shorten the lifetime of concrete (slide) such as: physical attacks, including frost damage, fire, wind and water waves and chemical attacks including sulfates, sea water, acids, alkali-silica reactions and of course corrosion of embedded steel. That's why the durability of concrete needs to be tested. (slide) Firstly, the concrete contains pores and capillaries which fulfill with water. In laboratories several test have been worked

of analysis. Biological researchers often adopt a reductionist approach to the study of human behavior. They work on a micro-level of research, breaking down complex behavior into its smallest parts (e.g. genes, neurotransmitters or proteins). This approach is sometimes criticized for being overly simplistic, but it is important to have detailed information of the components of human behavior in order to understand the interaction of several factors. Kasamatsu and Hirai studied a group of Buddhist monks who went on a 72-hour pilgrimage to a holy mountain in Japan. During this time the monks did not eat, drink or speak and were exposed to cold, autumn weather. About 48 hours later they started to have hallucinations, often about their ancestors. The researchers took blood samples from the monks before the ceremony and immediately after the monks reported seeing hallucinations. They found that serotonin levels had increased in their brains

reaction time. The main object of this game was to find out your reflexes on the road to reaveal how 'old' you are between 18 and 90 years old. While the basic principles generalize to estimating other reaction times, the exact numbers do not. Each type of reaction time has its own pecularities that must be examined. For example, reaction time for a shooter who is tracking a target might be 0.4 second, but even this would be a function of trigger pull weight. The data revealed that range of factors seem to affect player's concentration. For example, the average reaction time of drivers is 10 percent faster than that of non- drivers, and those that slept for eight hours the night before the survey reported the fastest reaction times of 525 ms - up to 20 percent faster than those who got less shut-eye. Keywords: movement time, urgency, results, visibility, reflexes, emergency stop, drivers.

preventive care, which has protected children from potentially deadly diseases. Some members of our society will mention freedom of choice and insist that parents can make their own decision. But some old diseases still exist in the world and those who fail to take their assigned dose of medicine may negate the efforts of those who do. So those some parents have to think about the rest of mankind and immunize their children as well. In conclusion, immunization is one of the factors supporting the health of people. I firmly believe that parents should be made to vaccinate their children mandatory by law.

fast: there has been built a huge amount of different factories, has been made so many inventions in all fields of human activity. Unfortunately only recently we have noticed that by making our life more comfortable and more enjoyable we destroy nature and cause appearance of ozone holes which are directly connected with global warming. On the other hand many scientists believe the world's warming and cooling happens in cycles due to various factors and Earth is starting a cooling trend after a long warming trend. That way global warming does not depend on people's activity. We have seen and heard so many times how was discussed the problem of global change but there is still no answer what is the reason of that. At this moment we just can make some supposition and hope that some when we will find the right solution.

One of the biggest stress factors are probably school, grades and future. Often students find themselves lacking knowledge to pass a subject or are too lazy to attend classes at all. This leads to a big amount of stress which they only have themselves to blame for. The best way to avoid this kind of stress would be studying hard and attending all classes. Young people also stress about the future a lot, they’re not sure where to study next or what to study. They’re also not sure
KVANTARVUTID • ‘’To find prime factors of a 2048-bit number, it would take a classical computer millions of years but a quantum computer could do it in just minutes’’. • Sellist hüpet kalkulatsioonikiiruses võimaldab asjaolu, et kvantarvuti kasutab kvantbitte, mis omakorda kasutavad ära superpositsiooni printsiipi, et vähendada tehteid, mida arvuti tegema peab. • 2014.a. Pealkirja järgi pakub mulle huvi ka järgmine kirjutis: Turban, D. B., Campion, J. E., & Eyring, A. R. (1995) „Factors related to job acceptance decisions of college graduates“. Mind huvitab, mis siis on ikkagi need faktorid, mis panevad ühe tudengi raamatuid müüma minema või mis panevad ühe keskkooli õpilase terveks aastaks välismaale elama ja õppima minema. Seal kasutatud kirjanduse loetelus oli ka Jürgen Habermasi ja Niklas Luhmanni teoseid. Kõigepealt otsin Google’ist, kas nende teostes võiks olla midagi, mida ma saaks enda uurimistöö alustekstina kasutada
