The Ideal School for my children The ideal school for my children is an independent, nonprofit school that provides a comprehensive educational program for children of all abilities. The program would be designed to address each student's unique academic, social, and emotional needs while reinforcing individual strengths, interests, and abilities. Differentiated, individualized instruction is based on the learning style of each child. Most science classes would take place outdoors. Children would be exposed to great literature, art, and music and encouraged to make their own relationships with these works. Children would have guidance in setting long-and short-term goals. Teachers would serve as mentors and facilitators, sharing their educational passions and helping children learn to help themselves

The goals of education Education is very important part of our lives. A good education gives us opportunity for better life and career. The topic of this presentation is the goals of education. · The main thing is that education provides the opportunity for an individual to develop morally, physically and socially and that to the greatest extent of their abilities. · Also we gain knowledge on world affairs. That shows that we are interested of other countries and we like to know more about their history. · Education develops our responsibility. · Maybe the main goal of education is that it prepares us to be independent. At this stage I`d like to conclude that education is one of the most important thing in our life. We gain knowledge, develop responsibility, learn how to be independent. Only we are responsible of our own future.

bill in each month. For example, when you are travelling or just need to unexpectedly make a ig purchase. However, before deciding to borrow money it is important to know if you will be able to repay it back in the future. People must know that free lunches don't exist and anyway they must pay later. PERSONAL OPINION In my opinion credit card is an ,,easy money" and often peole don't know what happens later. We should live according to our abilities and don't buy things when we haven't got enough money. CONCLUSION So, as you can see buying on credit is an alternative method and we should use it only then, when we know if we can afford the repayments.

Everyone should have the opportunities to learn sport skills and become active for life. But some of them were born with birth defects that resulted in lost limbs or paralysis. There are professional athletes, who inspire me with their strength, spirit and ability to overcome their disabilities. To begin with, they are pushing back the barriers which, until recently, kept the disabled from taking part in sports. They are demonstrating their abilities in an environment where their disabilities don't count. Moreover, disabled athletes are very hardy. Many of them have suffered accidents and illnesses which would be enough to make most of us want to give up. Nevertheless, there are those who claim that, «Why can't people simply face the fact that if you're disabled, you might not get to play sports in the same manner as everyone else? Also, disabled people aren't excluded at all now...»

success. Whether a student is gifted academically or not, an important factor is personal determination. Students, who invest more of their free time in their studies and make more effort in lectures than their peers, generally have higher levels of academic achievement. A key component to success is a student's work ethic. Students who are willing to put extra hours in to study and prepare for classes and presentations tend to improve their skills and academic abilities. Students, who take less challenging classes or are satisfied with less work, often will have the result of average academic success. As much as teachers, classes and schools are factors in student academic success, parents hold an equally important role. This includes having adult figures, who are positive role models, who value the importance of education as well as providing an appropriate environment to nurture student academic success.
However there is now interesting evidence from studies of their behaviour and brain function that they have highly sophisticated social and emotional recognition skills using faces, voices and smell. They are able to recognize and remember many diferent sheep and humans for several years or more and appear to have some capacity for forming mental images of the faces of absent individuals. The precence of such social cognition abilities in this species means that we must pay careful attention to welfare factors such as the composition and stability of their social environment as well as the nature of our own interactions with them. To many humans sheep are regarded as being as close to an automaton and amindless animal species as can be imagined and any serious consideration of their cognitive, social and general mental faculties deemed futile. I can give example about sheep memory. Every summer, just

Russian is difficult subject for me. 2. Would you like to become a teacher? Why /why not? I don't want to become a teacher. I think that it's difficult. Teachers don't have much free time. In school they must teach and the workday is quite long. I think that maybe seven to eight hours. But in home they must correct students' tests or make preparations for next days. I don't like a job like this. I need more free time. 3. Do the results of school exams show the students' true abilities? I think that exams are very important. Everybody must do the language exam. I think that schools exams show the students' true abilities. Exams show that how educated we are. But sometimes some people can't make out with stress and nervousness. But it's still necessary. 4. If you could change something in the education system in Estonia, what would you do? I like sleep long. And because of this I would start the school later. Maybe 10 o'clock. I think that the schooldays are too long
The two hundred years between 1740 and 1940 witnessed the creation of many important American gardens. This book will discuss the origins and development of American taste in terms of the ornament that decorated the grounds of these historic estates. We will consider not only the styles, techniques, materials, and ornaments themselves that were transported to America from Europe and elsewhere, but also domestic products emerging from the growing sophistication, confidence, and technical abilities of the new nation. While tastemakers and creators of great estates did turn to Europe for guidance and example in the period discussed, inevitably, many of the imported styles were transformed when absorbed into the new and challenging environment of the New World, with its immense tracts of land, severe climatic conditions, and vast regional differences. This book will address the history of garden design only as it pertains to
School education right now, like democracy, is not perfect. It has to be perfected all the time, according to the ways of life, which are always changing. There definately is not a certain perfect solution. Firts problem in current education system coul be that students are put into a „box“. Everyone gets graded by a certain standard, if you can not reach that line, then yo have failed. This is the fairest way, at least in concept. But not all the people have same abilities and strengths. Education should be more personal, focusin on a certain students talents and strengths and trying to develope those, so that the children could reach their full- potential and would always be encouraged to follow their heart in life. Secondly, there should be more practical learning. Practical learning is much more sufficient and also more fun. Learning can be fun, but children do not know it. Education system shuld find a way to show the fun in learning so
Work or university? After finishing secondary school you can take two choices. Whether you are going to work or study at the university. Now I would like to talk about their positive and negative sides. Firstly, I'd like to speak about going to work. Many people after finishing secondary school are going to work. One reason for this is that people have different abilities. Not everybody is suitable for university. The second reason is that perhaps they don't want to spend a lot of time on academic education. They are interested in particular profession which doesn't need an academic degree and want to move on with their life. Positive sides are that people can earn money and grow up faster. Negative sides are that it's not easy to get a job if doesn't have an education. Employees tend to prefer employers who have a good education and work experience.
punishable by the school, because I think it's your own choice if you go to school or not, just like in universities. There should be more e-learning lessons, because when I can't or do not want to go to school today then I can do the lessons at home on my own and then submit them to the teacher. If I were the minister of education, then I would do all that what makes kids love school. All teachers should love children and also love working with them. Teachers should believe in children's abilities. At least in elementary schools falling out should be impossible. I would do anything it takes for all kids to get the best education they need. I would like if children could say that school is their second home. Laura Illak 11. klass TDL
planning is the most important cause of our success in life. Careful planning may be simply considered as preparation that can be understood that one identifies his aim, lists his steps, and does a research if necessary. Analyzing it in that way, we can know why it becomes the most important cause of success. An English saying goes: "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunities". With such a careful plan, I am sure that we will have enough abilities to realize a lot of opportunities and seize them. Having prepared, one will be able to have a general look at the opportunity. He can evaluate the chance so as to know whether or not it is good for him. As a result, he can minimize the outcome, maximize the income and avoid the failure as well. Therefore, his way to success will be very sturdy;while without careful planning, taking risks and chances thoughtlessly will make us easily be confused when too many new things need figuring out.
process of elimination. By figuring out the area of study and other relevant elements like the size or location, the decision will most likely become simpler. It is important to remember that no university is good at everything and has particular areas they specialize in. The more time and effort one puts into the process of research, the bigger the chance of picking the right school. It is crucial to make the right judgments considering one's academics and abilities, too. The students should evaluate their skills and talents objectively and not over- or underestimate themselves. There are schools that are known to be more demanding than others. Although the choice of university can be tough even with a lot of research, it is always possible to ask for assistance from parents, teachers or guidance counselors. The Internet is also very helpful. In spite of all that, no one else can make that decision for oneself
if they can see you are motivated to learn what needs to be done and have the right attitude then they might just be willing to give you a go. But you must be able to show just how willing you are when you speak to or meet your potential new employer for the first time. If you can use all of these 3 qualities then there ise a high propability that there is a bright future ahead of you. If you know how to use all of those abilities then having a successful life and well-paid job are not far away. There are employers who does not care about your grades in high school they want the person who you are. At the beginning you're probaply not as good employee as more experinced workers but after many hours of work you finally will gain confidence and will be as good as more experienced workers or even better. All in all for success skills, motivation and attitude are really the things you need.
of going out and playing football with their friends. People who play computer games for several hours every day frequently have lack of social interaction with people. They don't go outside and socialize with other people, because they need to gain more levels in a game to impress their internet buddies. Although there are a lot of cons to paying computer games, there are also positive sides to it. For example a lot of games help to develop children's mental abilities. When playing first- person-shooter games, gamers develop their concentration skills and reaction, when playing strategy games, they increase their cognitive skills and memory. Secondly entertainment. This is the very reason people start playing video games, they just get bored and want to try something fun. It's a very easy and cheap way to spice up everyday routine for children and grown-ups. Also, several researches show that playing violent, action-packed games doesn't make people
Humans and chimpanzees diverged from our common ancestor more than six million years ago. Fossil evidence points to the ways which we have gradually changed. We left the trees, started walking and began to live in larger groups. And then our brains got bigger. Physically we are another primate, but our bigger brains are unusual. We don't know exactly what led to our brains becoming the size they are today, but we seem to owe our complex reasoning abilities to it. It is likely that we have our big brain to thank that we exist at all. When we Homo sapiens first appeared about 200,000 years ago we weren't alone. We shared the planet at least four other upright cousins; Neanderthals, Denisovans, the "hobbit" Homo floresiensis and a mysterious fourth group. device that could transmit musical notes, indistinct speech, and occasionally distinct speech by means of electric signals. Antonio Meucci - An early voice communicating device was invented around 1854 by Antonio Meucci, (who called it a telettrofono.) In the 1880s Meucci was credited with the early invention of inductive loading of telephone wires to increase long-distance signals. Unfortunately, serious burns from an accident, a lack of English, and poor business abilities resulted in Meucci failing to develop his inventions commercially in America. Alexander Graham Bell is commonly believed as the inventor of the first practical telephone. Bell was born on March 3, 1847, in Edinburgh, Scotland, and educated at the universities of Edinburgh and London. He immigrated to Canada in 1870 and to the United States in 1871. He was an early student of sound and speech, inspired, perhaps, by the fact that his mother,
Take more steps each day, adding fruit to your cereal, having an extra glass of water or saying no to that second helping of buttery mashed potatoes. So, what else can you be doing to live healthy? Your first order of business is to start exercising. Fitting regular exercise into your daily schedule may seem difficult at first. But even ten minutes at a time is fine. The key is to find the right exercise for you. It should be fun and should match your abilities. If you are struggling to lower your trans fat levels due to health concerns, all you need to do is follow the simple rules set forth by these municipalities. Cut down on deep-fried or processed foods. Choose whole foods, like vegetables and lean protein. If you can't muster
Charlie is pleased with the idea and gladly lets Bella go, even knowing this will mean she may be late for curfew. Unfortunately when Bella tries to start her truck she is met with silence, and soon discovers she is not alone in the cab of her truck. Quietly turning some mysterious object between his fingers in the darkness, Edward quietly says, "Alice called." He then begins to expound on the theory behind why Alice cannot see a werewolf with her abilities. He calmly states that he will return her truck to working order by morning if she decides to drive herself to school. Conceding that she may close her window if she chooses not to see him tonight. Bella storms into the house announcing that her truck won't start, that she is tired, and is going to bed. She does indeed slam her window shut indicating she doesn't want to see Edward after his stopping her from going to La Push. Moments later, she opens the window as wide as it will go.

Kirsipiia and Ruuben fall in love and Kirsipiia feels at last that she sees the world a lot more colourful and she finally has something to do; Ruuben makes her feel amazing. But strange things start to happen with her-she feels like Ruuben has some special abilities. Ruuben does everything that Kirsipiia wants-her grades are better, she is slimmer, flowers grow out of her desk. Finally Kirsipiia finds out from Eliis that Ruuben is a demon of darkness and that she might be in real danger. Ruuben says that they could be together forever if Kirsipiia agrees to sacrifice herself and let Ruuben to do a ritual-kill her in the beginning and at the last moment save her; Kirsipiia agrees. In the last minute Eliis, who is actually an angel of light, comes with her
Modern hero People have always looked up to heroes, talked, written and made movies or plays about them. They have given people hope and dreams and aspirations to become better, stronger and braver. The need for a hero has always existed but the definition and the purposes of a hero have changed. Centuries ago a hero was reckoned to be someone with super human courage, abnormal powers or with abilities to use magic items. A hero used to be somebody who fought magical creatures of evil and conniving kings or lords. A past hero usually saved the world from being ruled by evil forces (Eragon) or a clan from being destroyed (Beowulf killed Grendel and his mother to help the village). A hero like that was respected by the elderly people and always glorified by his family (in case they were still alive at the end of the story). It used to take a
education at your University. By getting a Bachelor degree I want to improve my span of knowledge and skills. Having heard a lot about the British education system, what advantages and opportunities for self-development it has, I strongly believe that continuing my studies in England is the best opportunity for me. That area I want to study is well represented in your University. Thanks to your Nutrition and Food Science degree programme, I will be allowed to extend and enhance my practical abilities and sharpen my professional skills. Doubtless, your University can provide me with a thorough understanding of food composition and analysis and give me a high standard of experience in nutrition, which will lead me to great opportunities for the international career.
systems that children begin to develop early in life and to engage in research relating to the reasons for selecting specific pictorial solutions. It has been pointed out that even very young children have at their disposal more than one pictorial system and they choose among them as a function of their representational intentions and purposes (Bremmer & Moore, 1984). The notion of the significance of purpose- or telecology- of pictorial behavior in the discourse about development of graphic abilities has been at the center of a map- like model of development that has emerged as an alternative to the traditional stage models (Darras & Kindler, 1996: Kindler & Darras, 1997a, 1997b, 1998). This model regards emergence and development of pictorial imagery as a semiotic process occurring in an interactive social environment that leads to pictorial behaviors that may engage single or multiple modalities of expression. This framework acknowledges psychobiological factors that found development of
researchers have discovered that in men, the right amygdala is activated and in women, the left amygdala is activated. The right amygdala has more connections with areas of the brain that control external functions while the right amygdala has more connections with internal functions. This difference probably explains why women perceive pain more intensely than do men. 7. Spatial ability. Men typically have stronger spatial abilities, or being able to mentally represent a shape and its dynamics, whereas women typically struggle in this area. Medical experts have discovered that women have a thicker parietal region of the brain, which hinders the ability to mentally rotate objectsan aspect of spatial ability. Research has shown this ability in babies as young as 5 months old, negating any ideas that these abilities were strengthened by environmental influences. 8. Susceptibility to disorders

Also, the code for a class should be relatively self-contained (generally using encapsulation). Collectively, the properties and methods defined by a class are called members. Object A pattern (exemplar) of a class. The class of Dog defines all possible dogs by listing the characteristics and behaviors they can have; the object Lassie is one particular dog, with particular versions of the characteristics. A Dog has fur; Lassie has brown- and-white fur. Method An object's abilities. In language, methods (sometimes referred to as "functions") are verbs. Lassie, being a Dog, has the ability to bark. So bark() is one of Lassie's methods. She may have other methods as well, for example sit() or eat() or walk() or save_timmy(). Within the program, using a method usually affects only one particular object; all Dogs can bark, but you need only one particular dog to do the barking. Inheritance "Subclasses" are more specialized versions of a class, which inherit attributes and
Volturi are at the heart of the trouble. Edward considers her new impressions, and agrees that it's a possibility. Bella notices that Alice looks frustrated and Edward explains that she is uncomfortable being "blinded" by the wolves' involvement. The pack finally enters the clearing, arriving in wolf form. There are more wolves now than Bella last knew about, and the vampires are both fascinated and careful. Carlisle welcomes them and Edward acts as translator, using his mind reading abilities to speak for the pack. The wolves agree to watch and listen, but are not comfortable doing more. Jasper takes center stage to begin the instruction. Jasper calls Emmett forward first, noting that his reliance on brutal strength is what makes Emmett the closest example of a newborn attack. Jasper easily catches Emmett from behind and ends the mock skirmish. He engages Alice next, wishing specifically for Bella to see why Alice can take care of herself
Education: The education system in Switzerland is very diverse, because the constitution of Switzerland delegates the authority for the school system mainly to the cantons. The Swiss constitution sets the foundations, namely that primary school is obligatory for every child and is free in public schools. The minimum age for primary school is about six years in all cantons but Obwalden, where it is five years and three months. After primary schools, the pupils split up according their abilities and intentions of career paths. Roughly 20% of all students attend secondary schools leading, normally after 12 school years in total which grants access to all universities. The other students split in two or more school-types (depends on the canton) differing in the balance of theoretical and practical education. It is obligatory for all children to visit school for at least 9 years. Technological factors:
Why do we need morality? As an English philosopher Thomas Hobbes (1588-1679) said, all humans are made equal in mental and physical abilities. This does not mean that all of us are equally strong, smart or beautiful, but that everyone has the ability to damage or kill the other. The main goals, we all want to achieve, are having a shelter, security, power, wealth and enough food. This means that people are constantly competing with each other and that makes all of us (who desire the same things) enemies. Hobbes names the insecurity and fear people feel towards each other a "state of nature". In this state there are no

This helps you realise that the person reading your letter is a real human being with feelings, trying to do their job to the best of their abilities. Your letter should encourage them to respond positively and helpfully to the complaint. No matter how mad you feel, aggression and confrontation does not encourage a helpful reaction to complaints. Good complaints letters with the above features tend to produce better outcomes: - Concise letters can be understood quickly. - Authoritative letters - letters that are well written and professionally presented - have more credibility and are taken more seriously.
Their front legs have modified into flippers for the water. They breathe air, but can stay submerged for a long time. Depending on their form, they feed on bottom algae, seagrasses, jellyfish, bottom sponges, crabs and mollusks. The Galapagos penguin lives farther north than any other penguin. Johnson appeals to Swagger's expertise and patriotism to help track down an assassin who plans on shooting the president from a great distance with a high powered rifle. Johnson gives him a list of three cities where the President is scheduled to visit so Swagger can determine if
choir, orchestra, and solo instruments drew together the strands of the baroque period and brought it to its ultimate maturity. Although he did not introduce new forms, he enriched the prevailing German style with a robust contrapuntal technique, an unrivalled control of harmonic and motivic organisation, and the adaptation of rhythms, forms and textures from abroad, particularly from Italy and France. Bach's abilities as an organist were highly respected throughout Europe during his lifetime, although he was not widely recognised as a great composer until a revival of interest and performances of his music in the first half of the 19th century. He is now regarded as the supreme composer of the Baroque, and as one of the greatest of all time. Johann Sebastian Bach was born in Eisenach, Saxe-Eisenach. He was the youngest child of
They write headlines and do layout. They're in the newsroom on nights and weekends when they could be out having fun. Which leads to my next point. Kadri Oviir Ajakirjandus ja kommunikatsioon I They work hard - really hard. The students who do best are generally pretty good writers and reporters, though they're not all naturals. But regardless of their abilities, these students work harder than just about everyone else around them. They do well in their classes AND spend countless hours toiling away on the student newspaper, often while working another job off- campus. Why is this so important? Because journalism is a trade, profession, whatever you want to call it, that rewards hard work. And for these kinds of students, that kind of work ethic usually comes naturally; it's part of the very the fabric of their being. No wonder they end up succeeding

ankles, and legs, which appear to plump. But it's when the cells in the brain begin to swell that edema becomes most problematic. Confined to the skull, ballooning neurons quickly run out of room to expand and when the brain swells, things can get ugly. Early symptoms can, paradoxically, resemble heat stroke, and include headache, diarrhea, nausea, cramping, and vomiting. In cases where water intake greatly exceeds the kidney's processing abilities, M. Amin Arnaout, chief of nephrology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School tells Scientific American that symptoms can escalate to include seizure, coma, respiratory arrest, brain stem herniation, and death. Cases Of Extreme Hydration It is, thankfully, quite difficult to flummox a healthy pair of kidneys accidentally. It is a testament to the water-processing abilities of this
cerain characteristic a mixture of firmness, strength af character, courage, integrity, and being true to oneself that he calls ,,bottle". Throughout your career you will have many opportunities to show your ,,bottle". By making the right choices ones that show your courage and integrity you will grow and mature as a manager and as a person. Building on the ,,bottle" factor, it is worth noting the importance in general of having a positive attitude about your abilities. The skill and commitment may be there in abundance, but a negative or cautious approach can undermine your potential every time. Though very few would actually welcome adversity, advice is to see it for what it is and make the most of it: learn how to face it, learn how to cope with it, keep your feet on the ground, and when it has passed look back to see what you could have learned from it. In recent years, it seems that perception how one is perceived by others has become
Its role is increasing not because it is an entertainer or informant, but because of the grip it has on many people. It is called a "living room monster" or "one-eyed monster." It is established that the biggest viewers are pensioners and housewives. The latter watch TV while their husbands are at work. In total they spend five hours daily sitting before the "boxes." Children watch commercials, horror films or films of violence. TV prevents children from creating their abilities. They get accustomed to TV to such an extent that they watch it all the time. To force their children away from their favourite evening programmes to their homework has eventually become the main problem of the parents of different countries. Moreover, TV is damaging for health. It has bad effect on the eyes, particularly of children. The physicians proved that if children do not watch TV their eyesight improves. But if children do not watch TV they find themselves
calling arising from a sense of destiny (e.g., what one is meant to do) or a perfect fit (e.g., a career that is an ideal match for one's skills, interests, and values) (Bunderson & Thompson; Dobrow & Tosti-Kharas). Others define calling as a career that arises from an external source (e.g., God, societal need, family legacy) that contributes to a sense of meaning/purpose and that is used to serve others in some capacity. Calling a set of innate talents, abilities, interests, and professional inclinations. Effects People with a stronger sense of "calling" are less likely to think about quitting, are willing to sacrifise for their work. Also, they are more satisfied for their work and are less flexible about changing their job assignment. In professions that are traditionally associated with a high sense of calling teaching and nursing, for example there are high rates of burnout. Without work-identity
