What are the benefits and dangers of building new factories?

positive? On the one hand, there are some advantages of building new factories. Firstly, unemployed people get new job. Secondly, country gets huge income from successful company. Next, if factories uses recyclable material, it would save earths resources and also slow down global warming. On the other hand, there are some throwbacks as well. Firstly, companies which do not have experience with factories might produce an enormous amount of air pollution. Secondly, sophisticated combinations need highly educated experts, otherwise failure might cause chemical fires, which may lead to catastrophic disasters. What is more, new factories tend to start with cheap products which are produced with toxic chemicals and usually end up polluting our groundwater. In conclusion, there are clearly both marvelous and terrible sides to building new factories. Personally, I believe that building new factories is marvelous because it has positive affect on

South Africa's natural resources are gold, coal, iron ore, tin, uranium, gem diamonds, platinum, copper, salt and many others. CULTURE With a dynamic fusion of African, European and Asian influences, South Africa is a hotbed of originality and creativity. This is particularly evident in the music, which ranges from indigenous township rave music, known as kwaito, to world-renowned African jazz by such legendary talents as Hugh Masekela and Miriam Makeba. Theatre, too, is alive and well, with sophisticated venues in each city presenting everything from the classics to homegrown drama, dance and comedy. A range of galleries, shops, studios and streetside stalls exhibit traditional African art as well as contemporary fine art. But its people are South Africa's greatest asset - and it is the interplay between its various cultures and the heritage of the individual and shared histories, which shapes the nation. Many religions exist in South Africa like Catholic,

American Literature Character Sketch-The Great Gatsby-Daisy

found difficult to forget: a singing compulsion. Jay Gatsby is the one who fell for Daisy’s seductive and unforgettable character. To him, Daisy is the embodiment of perfection. Daisy and Jay were in a relationship long, long time ago when they were young and way before Jay left to go to fight in the war. Daisy promised to wait for him, but instead she married Tom who promised her a wealthy and otherwise great life. To Gatsby, Daisy is charming, sophisticated and all other great things but in reality she is a shallow person who is in love with money and materialistic things. The love of Daisy is actually what drove Jay to reinvent himself and acquire extreme wealth through criminal actions. They were careless people, Tom and Daisy — they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness, or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made.

Charlie Chaplin

Charlie Chaplin was one of the greatest and widely loved silent movie stars. From "Easy Street" (1917) to "Modern Times" (1936), he made many of the funniest and most popular films of his time. He was best known for his character, the naive and lovable Little Tramp. The Little Tramp, a well meaning man in a raggedy suit with cane, always found himself wobbling into awkward situations and miraculously wobbling away. More than any other figure, it is this kind-hearted character that we associate with the time before the talkies. Born in London in 1889, Chaplin first visited America with a theater company in 1907. Appearing as "Billy" in the play "Sherlock Holmes", the young Chaplin toured the country twice. On his second tour, he met Mack Sennett and was signed to Keystone Studios to act in films. In 1914 Chaplin made his first one-reeler, "Making a Living". That same year he made thirty-four more short films, including "Caught in a Caba...

And once again, the young hero learns the deeper lessons of spirituality, love, and freedom within the liberating confines of a prison cell. Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of The Charterhouse of Parma is its highly sophisticated psychology. Rejecting traditional notions of a fixed and determined psychological makeup, Stendhal never defines his characters and instead depicts individuals in the process of becoming. His literary devices (his authorial comments, the improvisational tone of his narration) seem to grant his characters the freedom to discover themselves. Various forms of freedom are Stendhal's ultimate preoccupation, which probably explains why he repeatedly explores the ambiguities of the prison image

Quality papers cater for more sophisticated readers. They contain detailed information and analyses of a wide range of issues. There is little use of colour, and a fairly discreet use of photographs and other illustrations, but they make great use of colour supplements, especially on Sundays when people have time to read more. * The /s/ is the most important consonant when making a judgment. (also deriving from this topic, see "gay lisp" there were some excellent articles about that, too, but unfortunately they were about a research done in Belgium). But only if you are male. (Apparently there is a "gay lisp", but no "lesbian lisp", although that would sound much better.) * Higher frequency in men and lower in women's case makes the listeners distinguish them as part of the LGB group. So does more technical or sophisticated way of speech. (From previous investigations where larger 15-90 s texts were used.) All in all, I am still awed and would really like to know, how and why this is possible. (You've heard me speak, which group would you put me into? to prepare their audience for the future, but to convince people to adopt the storyteller’s preferred course of action. Conclusion- Current practice in planning addresses the future in ways that are superficial, shortsighted, or hollow. Academics have contributed very little to this cause, leaving planning practitioners to their own devices. If they so desired, planning academics could surely help to build a more intellectually sophisticated and defensible approach to shaping the future. Taken together, however, these elements form a planning toolkit useful for construction of normative futures that are firmly grounded in time as well as space. What is needed today is a new synthesis of skills that includes all of the lessons of the modern era—political relevance, public inclusiveness, quantitative technique, narrative, openness of communication, and more—while recovering lost emphases from the past. What is needed is a

Pidevalt loodi uusi heliplaate, mida vist ükski teine ansambel pole rohkem valmistanud. 1930ndatel lõi Ellington ühed oma kõige suuremad hitid, mille hulka kuulusid ,,Mood Indigo", ,,It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)", ,,Sophisticated Lady", ,,Solitude", ,,In a Sentimental Mood", ,,Caravan". 1940ndaid ja viiekümnendate algust võib pidada Duke Ellingtoni karjääris kerge allakäigu aegadeks. See juhtus 1956

Misusing and Abusing the IoT ( Ingliskeelne referaat andmeturve ITX0040 jaoks)

Best practice such as changing passwords regularly, which to date is one of the most common causes of a security breach. Employees, who work for the customer service must also be properly trained in order to help the clientele manage these issues [15]. Conclusion In conclusion, due to the IoT still being in its early stages despite quite a massive number of devices connected, the security features have been somewhat overlooked. As the new industry hasn’t been forced to introduce more sophisticated security measures by laws as well as by consumer knowledge, the producers, in hopes of maximizing the usage of IoT devices and spending less funds on security, have been not prioritizing those issues. Most notable are the privacy related issues where the devices collect too much information, and in some cases forward the collected personal data specifically to the company, who created the device. Besides issues of privacy, there are concerns about general security

Reasons why human beings are unique

The human brain is advantageously big (Credit: Thinkstock) The human brain is advantageously big (Credit: Thinkstock) Evidence in the form of stone tools suggests that for about 100,000 years our technology was very similar to the Neanderthals. But 80,000 years ago something changed. "The Neanderthals had an impressive but basically routine material record for a hominid. Once H. sapiens started behaving in a strange, [more sophisticated] way, all hell broke loose and change became the norm," Tattersall says. We started to produce superior cultural and technological artefacts. Our stone tools became more intricate. One study proposes that our technological innovation was key for our migration out of Africa. We started to assign symbolic values to objects such as geometrical designs on plaques and cave art. There is little evidence that any other hominins made any kind of art

architectural additions, they simply renovated the interiors of the existing buildings. Gothic art Gothic art was a Medieval art movement that developed in France out of Romanesque art in the mid-12th century, led by the concurrent development of Gothic architecture. It spread to all of Western Europe, but took over art more completely north of the Alps, never quite effacing more classical styles in Italy. In the late 14th century, the sophisticated court style of International Gothic developed, which continued to evolve until the late 15th century. In many areas, especially Germany, Late Gothic art continued well into the 16th century, before being subsumed into Renaissance art. Primary media in the Gothic period included sculpture, panel painting, stained glass, fresco and illuminated manuscript. The easily recognisable shifts in architecture from Romanesque to Gothic, and Gothic to Renaissance styles, are typically used to define the

e. the tendency to approach all questions with neo-classical economic methods. In advanced PA scholarship itself, especially but not only in Europe, NPM is on the defensive by now, if taken as a world view (i.e. an ideology), rather than as one of several useful perspectives for PA reform (i.e. part of a pluralistic approach). The question here is more whether one favors post-NPM (anti-NPM) or post-post-NPM, Weberian-based PA, the latter being the most advanced, and the most sophisticated, and now called the Neo-Weberian State (NWS). What was an option ten years ago is not an option anymore today. I would say that in PA · in 1995, it was still possible to believe in NPM, although there were the first strong and substantial critiques · in 2000, NPM was on the defensive, as empirical findings spoke clearly against it as well · in 2005, NPM is not a viable concept anymore
