Joseph Mallord William Turner was born on 23 April 1775. He was an English Romantic landscape painter, watercolourist and printmaker. He has laid the foundation for Impressionism. Turner is also one of the greatest masters of British watercolour landscape painting. He is commonly known as "the painter of light". One of his main themes was the helplessness and smallness of man against the destructive forces of nature. One of my favourite paintings is "The Fighting `Temeraire' tugged to her Last Berth to be broken up. Turner was in his sixties when he painted this painting. Also you can grow your own vegetables and fruits when you live in the countryside. I think any fruit or vegetable which is from your own tree or a field is better than the one you find in stores. I think living in the city has a lot of disadvantages. The first aspect that appears in my mind is the crime rate. I do not want to live in a place, where I always have to be cautious and ready to protect myself. Also living in the city is bad for your health because the air is polluted and there is so much noise which is tiring. On the other hand living in the city has many good sides. There is usually something to do. You can watch movies in the cinema, visit bars, pubs, clubs, casinos and you can go shopping. If you have children you do not have to worry about lack of schools and kindergartens.

In the past fifty years the United States has invested more money in helping the homeless people than any other country in the world. The result is that we have more poor people now and more people dependent on the government than we did fifty years ago. The welfare program in our society has failed. The illegitimacy rate of welfare when it first was introduced was one fourth of what it is today. It has driven fathers out of families and caused mothers to become dependent. It has taken away people's dignity and has brought child abuse to our society. Better programs must be created if we want to help homeless people.
