moving on is a process and you have to promise yourself that your ready to let go  And when I see him smile, I just melt inside  A hug for you means I need you. A kiss for you means I love you. A call for you means I'm missing you  A person who truly loves you is someone who sees the pain in your eyes while everyone else still believes the smile on your face  Tugevad inimesed on sageli kõige õrnema hingega, sest see väline tugevus on neil kujunenud suure valu ja kannatuste tagajärjel.

Different nations

Different nations. There has always been a moving and mixing of people, caused by different reasons. As a result of this process people now have mixed cultures and many cultural conflicts. It should be easy and good to live in a town full on different cultures, but it may cause some trouble to. Countries with rich diversity usually do not have a race problem.Small countries with only one or two nationalities can be the centre of such problem. The people in these countries do not have any

Film review Titanic

Film review „ Titanic” One of the best films that I have seen recently is called „Titanic”, a disaster and romantic film directed and written by James Cameron, music by James Horner. The important characters are Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack dawson and Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater. „Titanic“ is a very moving and gripping film. In the film we see that a ship called „Titanic” sails out. The people are very happy to board the ship. They consider it as an unsinkable ship.In the first half of the movie Rose and Jack fall in love. They are trying to be together although it is not allowed because Rose is from the good family and Jack is just a poor boy. Rose’s husband was very angry and wanted to kill Jack. But in the other half of the movie, something different happens. The

The Queen/Kuninganna essee filmist

Dissensions in Buckingham Palace The Queen movie was uninteresting at first, but when I delved into the movie it got very interesting. The Queen was about Queen Elizabeth II reaction to the death of Princess Diana. Film was based on actual events and included a lot of tragedy, emotions and sadness. Just as Tony Blair was moving into 10 Downing Street, Princess Diana died in a Paris car wreck. England went into traumatized mourning deeper than anyone could have predicted. On the contrary, the royal family -- Diana's estranged former inlaws -- offered no public reaction at all. As resentment toward the royal cold shoulder built into a monarchical crisis of public opinion, young Mr. Blair intervened with the Queen until finally the House of Windsor made a public demonstration of something like humanity.

,,Emigrating" (essay)

Emigrating. (essay) Moving from one country to another has been a common thing for centuries. However, emigration has both advantages and disadvantages. One the plus side, moving away from your home country can be a really interesting and unforgettable experience and it also broadens your mind. Secondly, you might get a better job. Young people often move away from their homeland, because they think that they might get a better education, if they study in a well-known university. Finally, you can find a lot of new friends. However, for every plus there is a minus. The main disadvantage is that you might start

ICE AGE The earth is very old. During its long history there have been many changes in climate. Between one and two million years ago one of these changes took place the great Ice Age began. It grew colder in the Far North. More snow fell in the winter than could melt away in the summer. The snow grew deeper and deeper. It changed to solid ice. As more snow fell, the ice grew thicker. It began to move. Great sheets of moving ice, or glaciers, were formed. The edges of the sheets were pushed outward. At last the ice covered most of what is now Canada. And it spread southward into what is now the United States. The ice was probably a mile deep in places. It moved over hills and valleys, rivers and forests. It moved slowly perhaps only a foot a day. Millions of plants were buried by the ice. Many animals moved south. Among the animals able to stand

How much do you know about biology?

Future of biology rests in harnessing data avalanche. Like most sciences, biology is inundated with data. However, a group of researchers warns in a Nature feature that the avalanche of biological information is at the point where the discipline may be unable to reach its full potential without improvements for curating data into on-line databases. Biology has changed a lot, but the basics remain the same. And, also like all the sciences are evolving and moving forward, biology is also moving in direction of innovation.

have something to talk about. After all it seemed impossible. We took different way than usually. We walked until we came to an old, ugly, deserted house. Curiosity was so great that we forgot mom's advice. Approaching the house we saw window frames covered with cobwebs . We decided to open the door even tough we were frightened... Creeeek! We trembled and took a step back .. we realized that it was just the floor board .. we moved on .. it was dark and freaky. Moving to the next room, we found an old broken sofa with black table. The room next to us opened up a hideous view so that I nearly fainted. Hanging down from the ceiling our neightbour. Her skin was blue and he was completely covered in blood. We stareted running away with sister and then noticed a letter:'' Curiosity can cost the lives of your loved ones.'' Immediately we were thinking of our parents .. without any doubt I started running to home, I had tears in my eyes because of fear

Holiday time My holiday began from a class trip to Tartu. There we visited the Estonian National Defence College. Afterwards, I took a bus ride to Tallinn, where I spent the rest of my holiday. Due to my brother moving house, I had to help him out with that. The majority of the work involved stacking firewood from one shed to another, whilst sorting it out to dried and raw. During free time, we went shopping into different shopping centres. I left Tallinn on Saturday, so I would have a day to prepare for school.

capable of love, kindness, and moral growth. It criticizes the way that economic and class stations restricted women. One of the biggest weaknesses of the book is, that it is a bit slow-moving and tends to be a bit boring at times but the romantic nature of the story holds an everlasting appeal, making it a classic read. Conclusion In conclusion, I would like to say that the book was better than I had expected. I found it really interesting and gripping, on the other hand it was really moving. I also think that people can experience real fun while reading it. The plot was thought-provoking and surprising. The ending was happy, and the journey to it well worth the time. I have really good impressions about this book as it made me think and I would definately recommend it to everybody, especially young ladies.

Haridusfilosoofia Dewey

Otherwise, experience would become so scattered, it would seem chaotic (p. 82). In order for experiences to be educational, they must extend into an expanding world of subject matter consisting of facts, information, and ideas. The educator must view teaching and learning as a continuous process of reconstructing experience. This occurs only when the educator can look to the future with the perspective of viewing each present experience as a moving force that influences future experiences (Dewey, 1938, p. 87). The challenges for the educator are in the formation of ideas, putting those ideas into action, observing the conditions that result, and in organizing facts and ideas for future use (Dewey, p. 88).

How to avoi road accidents

Always use your signal, even if you think no one is there. When changing lanes on the freeway, don't signal as an afterthought or during the lane change. Signal at least a couple of seconds in advance so others know what you're going to do before you do it. (Ever notice how most of the skid marks along the highway are just before an exit ramp? - this is where you have to be the most careful.)8 8 Don't tailgate. No matter how slowly traffic is moving, keep at least two seconds of following distance between you and the car ahead. Any less and you won't be able to stop in time if the driver ahead slams on the brakes.9 9 Keep your eyes moving. Don't get in the habit of staring at the back of the car ahead of you. Periodically shift your eyes to the side-view mirrors, the rear-view mirror, and ahead to where you'll be in 10-15 seconds

At the beginning of the film Rita didn't knew about literature, she knew much less than average person, but at the end, she was so fond of literature and she knew much more than average person and she was more educated than ever. Literature isn't as boring as it seems and it helps moving toward in life. "Educating Rita" was a good movie and I learned that literature has an important role in life.

Heartless

killing his pray, the man dropped the disgusting body and cleaned his sword. Heartless wanted to run away, but she knew that this man, probably not even human, was much faster and stronger than her. That's why she just stood there and watched the youth's moves. Finally, when he had cleaned his sword, he started to search something. Soon he found it, because he took from the nearby ground a large book and started reading it. In the meanwhile the monster, whom he thought was dead, started moving and stood up. She (or even it) saw the enemy and rushed towards him. The man seemed not to be noticing her, so Heartless decided to save the man from the horrible death this beast wanted to cause. There was a bloodstained sword lying before her, so she took it from the ground and held it like the man had. She didn't know anything of her past before the orphanage, yet she felt at the moment that her hands were moving on their own.

Books today and tomorrow

Books today and tomorrow Ervin Sagor Books have always played a great role in life and it is important to read them but nowadays people read less than they used to do. When I think about our relationship with books a question comes to my mind: `'Will there be books in the future?'' I think people read more books in the past because then there were no television and radio to entertain people. In the present people rather watch moving images from television than pick up a dusty old book. My opinion on importance of books is that there are books with empty storyline as well as there are books that are considered as true gems which contain knowledge and a great story and the importance of these books is immeasurable. Considering the fact that people in the future will be even lazier than they are now shows that the books will stay on the bookshelves or will be burned but I think that they will

School should provide computers for students to use for all their school subjects Nowadays we are moving into a IT era. This is an inevitable because everything is becoming computerized. Students use computers to make homework. I strongly believe that schools should have computers but there is no need for all the subjects. Firstly, sitting a long time in front of the computer screen is unhealthy. Students' eyes will be dry and they may have headache. It can also have a negative effect on students' moods. "About a boy"

"About a boy" Review This film is about a saying: "No man is an island," but the main character Will seems to think otherwise because he is always alone and he enjoys it. Eventually he meets some new people and realizes that he was wrong and that it is better to be honest and surrounded by good people. No-one should be alone in life and fortunately Will no longer has to be. I liked the film because it was gripping and moving. It made me feel like the characters. It was also funny and a bit sad. I think the funniest part was when the old lady that was invited to spend Christmas with everyone else misunderstood almost everything that was said. It was a really sweet and innocent mistake. I think this film has a brilliant soundtrack that fits with the scenes perfectly and brings out the emotions of the moment. The acting was great as well and in my opinion the actors were chosen wisely

Meeting the wolf

Many years ago on Sunday a young girl walked on a lonely road. The sun was shining and light clouds were in the sky. She was on her way home. Suddenly the sun disappeared and dark clouds appeared in the sky. She felt a little scared but didn't pay much attention on it. Before she could find any place to hide, it started raining. The weather was getting worse and worse until there were an awful thunderstorm. The girl had nowhere to go, she was frightened and started crying. She heard something moving in the bushes which scared her even more. She tried to be quiet and see what was in the bushes but she didn't see anything. As soon as she took a deep breath, the wolf jumped out of the bushes. He sniffed around and then started to move towards the girl. She started screaming and the wolf started howling. Neither of them knew what to do until the girl tried to get closer to the wolf. She succeeded and finally became friends with the wolf.

Does water consumption matter?

Does water consumption matter? 2 MINUTIT. I'm going to talk about water consumption and about the importance of the water. I've chosen this topic because water is our most important resource and I'm also very worried about how little there is left of it. At the moment a bottle of water costs less than an euro, but within the next 10 years the very same bottle may cost 5 to 10 euros, if we don't conserve and protect our fresh water supply. The thing is, we have enough sea water, but it's the freshwater we lack of. Water covers over 70% of the Earth, but just 3% of it is fresh and less than 1% is the water that is available and we can drink. The amount of freshwater is rapidly decreasing. The water we have now is all we will ever have, we cannot produce anymore. Moving on to the importance of water. There wouldn't be any life on Earth without water. Water cools the Earth and all plants, animals and humans need clean water to survi...

Books Today and Tomorrow

Will people read less in the future? Books have always played a great role in our lives and reading them is highly important. It increases knowledge and expands vocabulary, which integrates to writing. Reading books makes a person more intelligent and it gives a different perspective. Nowadays people tend to read less books than they used to. The main reason for this catastrophy is the development of technology. People would rather watch moving pictures in the television than pick up an old book covered in dust. In the past, when there were no television or computers to entertain people, books were basically the only amusement. On the other hand the lifestyle of ours has gotten tremendously busy and some do not find the time to just sit back and relax by reading. With the development of technology, people will become more lazier which may result in the lack of reading

The Steam Engine

However, it didn't turn any wheels, instead it pumped water out of coal mines. In 1712 Thomas Newcomen introduced an improved version of Savery's engine. James Watt improved it even further and later came up with an idea on how to use a steam engine to power something with wheels. Alright, but why are they important? Steam engines are veryveryvery important because it was the dominant source of power well into the 20th century. They actually were the moving force behind the Industrial Revolution. So no steam engines = no Industrial Revolution = Middle Ages that last approximately forever, give or take a few days But how do they work? One of the 2 important parts is the boiler which contains water to be boiled. The second important part of a steam engine are the pistons. In James Watt's engine the pistons are moved by condensing water which causes vacuum which is created on both sides of the piston to make it move back and forth.
