had to do along this day. Sometimes they were too hard to me and I had to study late at night. In my opinion every person should feel them well and free at home. But with me it did not happened. What I am trying to say with that long story is, that if there is a freedom of speech, it is still limited with laws or from other humans. Limited freedom is understandable in state bust at home it still should be aloud. Talkeing about the school. There has it's own determined rules, what students by all means have to detain. It is because of that: these rules are determined from school. In the old times I was steady pupil and kept on all rules. But now last times I have become much more lazier than I were. Maybe it is because of that I have not everything all right at home and it disturbes my studying at school. It is difficult to concentrate to my lessons at school and even at home. It takes me that I have no mood to learn and I start to keep aside from studies
After your passport and hand-luggage (for safety reasons) have been checked, you can spend your time shopping in the duty-free shops that are situated in the departure lounge. About half an hour before take-off, you are told to go to a certain gate where you wait before you get on/board the plane. When entering the plane you are welcome to pick up some fresh newspapers and inside the plane you can put your things in the overhead locker above your seat. The safety rules are explained when everyone has found their seat – window, aisle, middle. Smoking is not allowed on board, only in the terminal building. The passengers are asked to fasten their seat belts and put their seat in the upright position. Soon the plane is ready to take off. It taxis towards the runway, accelerates and takes off. The captain/pilot soon announces the cruising altitude and the flight attendants serve drinks or a meal. You
Here are two possible ways of doing this": A) Please stay. We don't have much, I'm afraid, but we'd be honoured. Whatever we have is yours. B) This is no trouble at all. There's plenty of food. Don't think twice about it. We're used to people popping in. Which of these two do you think would be a more successful way to persuade a British person? A or B? Why? 13. British people like to `dress down' on Sundays. What might be the reason? British people have to follow clothing formalities all week so they really want to take off their working clothes and dress into something really comfy and scruffy. Lots of men who wear a suit all week can then be seen in old sweaters and jeans, sometimes with holes in them. Male politicians are really keen to get themselves photographed when not wearing a tie to show that they are `ordinary' people. 14. The British are always talking about the weather. This is `an ever-interesting, even
to grab -- to be bored at everything -- amusing -- to flunk an exam -- a sunny soul by nature -- a short-story contest -- to hold -- to quarrel -- to make up with smb. -- My Future Profession Finishing school is the beginning of the independent life for millions of school leavers. Many roads are opened before them: vocational and technical schools, institutes and universities. But it is not an easy thing to choose a profession out of more than 2,000 existing in the world. Some pupils follow the advice of their parents, others can't decide even after leaving school. As for me, I made my choice long ago. I want to become a teacher of the Ukrainian language and literature. My choice of this occupation didn't come as a sudden flash. During all school years literature was my favourite subject. I've read a lot of books by Ukrainian and foreign writers. I understand that reading books helps people in self education and in solving different life problems.
- I think that "reality TV" is very popular today. Millions of people watch "reality TV" series "Behind the Glass" and "The Last Hero." The major advantage of such programmes is that they are not movies based on a strict scenario. Ordinary people find themselves in extraordinary circumstances. "Reality TV" shows the directed real life in which people are competing for a tangible reward. But unlike in real life everything happens quicker. Of course they have to follow certain rules, but generally they are free to behave, as they like. This, I think is most attractive. Nobody knows beforehand the result of the game. It interests people because the game is as unpredictable as the real life. People who watch such programmes try hard to figure out what would they have done in such circumstances. The "reality TV" is substituting all previous programmes such as the "Travelers' Club", "In the World of Animals" because they are static.
what would you do? More then a few of us pretend as if they had not seen anything. I myself would feel awful, but I wouldn't know what to do either. Although I would condone myself with the idea, that life is difficult and it's just something you have to deal with. But does tolerance mean that all manners should be accepted? No, of course not. Manners that disrespect or hurt others, like being mean or bullying, or manners that break social rules, like lying or stealing, should not be tolerated. Tolerance is about accepting people for who they are -- not about accepting bad behavior. Tolerance also means treating others the way you would like to be treated. Nobody wants to be mocked or even be a victim of physical violence. In reality, we have no idea how much pain our small insignificant words can cause. We may think we are strong, but we fought inconsiderate of the fact, that not all are as strong as us.
