Dear Sir/ Madam ,
I am writing to express my disapproval of the Westwale Councils decision to sell the land of the Longheath Park. In my opinion, this is a terrible idea which will have many disadvantages for our town.
Firstly, if the park is sold to the property developer, he will built an estate of 50 houses on the land. As a result, there will be no open spaces left . Therefore, children will not have a chance to play freely, and people will have nowhere to walk their dogs or ride their bikes.
Secondly, there will be less green areas in town. Obviously, this will be very unhealthy, as people need fresh air and natural surroundings for good health. What is more, the town will be crowded and built up. Consequently, there will be more traffic, pollution, and the town will no longer be a nice place to live.
To sum up, I think it is a very bad idea. I hope the local council will take my points into consideration .
Yours faithfully,
Evelin Sepp

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing about the recent article in Tuesday’s edition of the Westvale Herald to express my disapproval of the Westvale Council’s decision to sell Longheath Park to a property developer. In my opinion, this is a really bad idea. Firstly, if the park is sold there will be no open spaces left. Therefore, children will not be able to play freely, and people will have nowhere to walk their dogs, ride their bicycles and so forth. What is more, there will be very few green areas in town. Obviously, this is very unhealthy, as people need fresh air and natural surroundings for good health. Finally, the town will be crowded and built up. This will mean that there will be more traffic and pollution, and the town will no longer be a nice place to live. To sum up, I think it is a terrible idea. I hope that the council will find a better way to deal with Longheath Park. Maybe they will find some investors who are interested in improvi

HOUSE AND HOME tööleht

HOMES Almost 63% of British people own their own homes. There are about 25 million homes in the UK, of which seven out of 10 are owner-occupied. Most live in terraced houses and tower blocks located mainly in town centres, semidetached houses in districts nearer to town centres, or detached houses which usually lie in expensive suburbs, closer to the countryside than the centre. Many people live in rented accommodation, including council flats and houses built and owned by the local government. Modern council housing estates may be a mixture of different buildings, providing a variety of facilities for their inhabitants, such as play areas for children, a community centre, etc. Since the 1980s, council tenants have been allowed to buy their own homes very cheap if they have lived in them for more than two years. Since the early 1990s, building new houses and flats has been very slow. But today the number of new homes b

Essay living forever

I often wish I had a device that could slow down, or even freeze time for everything around me at my own will. I could enjoy the good times for longer periods of time. I would still age. I would still die. But I would accomplish more. But coming back to reality, we have to remeber as I said in the beginning - the idea of living forever remains locked to science-fiction.
