FOOTBALL also known as soccer/association football… ... is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players with a spherical ball. It is played by 250 million players in over 200 countries, making it the world's most popular sport. The game is played on a rectangular field with a goal at each end. The object of the game is to score by getting the ball into the opposing goal. The goalkeepers are the only players allowed to touch the ball with their hands or arms while it is in play and only in their penalty area. Other players mainly use their feet to strike or pass the ball, but may also use their head or torso. The team that scores the most goals by the end of the match wins. If the score is level at the end of the game, either a draw is declared or the game goes into extra time or a penalty shootout depending on the format of the competition.
Lehesalu Andres AT112 Lacrosse Lacrosse Lacrosse is a team sport of Native American origin played using a small rubber ball and a long-handled stick called a crosse or lacrosse stick, mainly played in the United States and Canada. It is a contact sport which requires padding such as shoulder pads, gloves, helmets, elbow pads, and sometimes even rib guards History Lacrosse, a relatively popular team sport in the Americas, may have developed as early as AD 1100. By the seventeenth century it was well- established and had been documented by Jesuit priests, although the game has undergone many modifications since that time. In the traditional aboriginal Canadian version, each team consisted of about 100 to 1,000 men on a field that stretched from about 500 meters to 3 kilometers long. These lacrosse games lasted from sunup to sundown for two to three days straight
The Winter Games feature sports practised on snow and ice, both indoors and outdoors. Many new events have been added, such as basketball, baseball and beach volleyball. The Summer Games are held in various months and last for 16 days. Sports with separate men's and women's event include archery, badminton, basketball, canoeing, cycling, fencing, gymnastics and several others. Men and women may compete in the gymnastics same team in equestrian (horse riding) sports and some yachting events. Only men compete in boxing and modern pentathlon. The host country must provide a large stadium for the opening and closing ceremonies, the athletic events and football. Many host cities build special facilities for various Olympic events. More than 1,000 athletes now take part in the Summer Games and they represent more than 160 countries. The Summer Games of the year will take place in 2008 Beijing, China. Winter Games

Many children go to football trainings but there are no world-famous footballers in Estonia. Mart Poom is the most well-known because he plays in the English Premiership and that league has very many viewers and fans. The best players go to play in foreign countries because our league level is quite low. They need to go elsewhere to improve as players and the salaries are also low. People don't go to watch the league games but Estonians love to watch the national team games. The ones who don't go to the stadium watch the games on TV. The Estonian team hasn't got any medals and they haven't even reached the World Cup or Euro Cup finals but still they can sometimes compete against the big countries. Basketball is also popular. People come to watch the national team games but our league level is much better in basketball than in football so they come to watch the league too. Over 8000 people came to watch the finals last year. A former NBA
Running around at the square is just liberating. Also it's extreme enough, very interesting and basketball can be play with big company. Basketball can be played inside and outside, this can be played even alone. If there aren't people who agree play whit me currently I'll take my ball and I start just throwing ball through hoop. But actually basketball has dark side too. This game can be very dangerous. I have had a lot of very serious injuries. Twice I broke my leg and once hurt my hand so that I needed an emergency splint. I couldn't play basketball for months and meantime I swore to myself that I will never play this horroble game ever again. But I improved and next moment i was back to square, ready to run myself out of breath. Basketball can be unpleasant for some people. This can happen when person is very small, because basketball is kind of ,,tall people game". Basketball might become unpleasant when if
principles as the modern day incarnation. The first of these was identified as part of Shang Dynasty China in the 5th century BC, the game's objective being to kick a leather ball through a hole in a piece of cloth which between two 30 foot poles. The Tsu'Chu military exercise in 3rd century China was also an interesting elaboration on this theme; the premise once again being to kick a leather ball through a 30-40 centimetre opening. As the Tsu'Chu exercise lacked the central team element of today's football, attention has also been given to the Greek and Roman games of episkyros and Harpastum respectively. The latter is particularly interesting as a game played on a rectangular grass surface with a ball roughly equivalent to a softball today. Medieval football Despite some signs of the game we love today in the Ancient World, the true development of football came in Medieval Britain by and large, although there are
greatly from industry to industry and firm to firm. Supply chain management is typically viewed to lie between fully vertically integrated firms, where the entire material flow is owned by a single firm and those where each channel member operates independently. Therefore coordination between the various players in the chain is key in its effective management. Cooper and Ellram [1993] compare supply chain management to a well-balanced and well-practiced relay team. Such a team is more competitive when each player knows how to be positioned for the hand-off. The relationships are the strongest between players who directly pass the baton (stick), but the entire team needs to make a coordinated effort to win the race. Below is an example of a very simple supply chain for a single product, where raw material is procured from vendors, transformed into finished goods in a single step, and then transported to distribution centers, and ultimately, customers
Britain. One of them, which is called association football, is played all over Europe. The other kind: rugby football is also very popular in New Zealand, France, and some other European countries. English boys play it at school, and in public parks. When they grow up, they play as members of important amateur teams or as a professional in teams competing in football ,,leagues". Professional football is as much a business as a sport. Rugby football was first played in 1823. In rugby every player is allowed to carry the ball. The ball is oval, not round. Each team contains 15 players. The oldest game of football in England is probably the football match which takes place at Ashburn on Shrove Tuesday every year. The game starts in the centre of the town, and the distance between two goals is two miles. The only rule is not to use motorcycles, cars and lorries in the game. In 1958 one team buried the ball. The other team didn't know and ran after them

The way I would like you to do this is by strumming up when you bring your hand back up. Take your time with this. Watch the video provided and try and play along. Your strum should be constant and in time. The track provided is slow and with a little pratice you should be able to play G with up and down strum. Now we are going to work on changing between G, D and A. As above, I would like you to continue using an up and down strum and counting out loud. So if you continue with your, "1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and", it will help make the next lesson a lot easier. Exercise:
In a famous confrontation with Di Canio, the maverick Italian striker who played for Milan, Juventus, Celtic and West Ham, Capello took exception to his player's questioning of why he was trying so hard to win a friendly match during a tour of China. The two men squared up to each other, with Capello reportedly shouting at Di Canio: "You are an ugly c*** and your face looks like a penis." Di Canio, at the time employed by Milan, never played for the team again. 2 Such unabashed low regard for some of the biggest reputations - and salaries - in football has been a defining feature of Capello's lengthy career, which ended as a player in 1979 after respectable spells with Roma, Juventus and the national side. Despite immersing himself in management - he spent 15 years running the youth sides

one of the fastest growing sports in all of North America. Conversely, Association Football (soccer), although widely played by school-aged Canadians and those in the immigrant community, has never become popular enough as a spectator sport for an entirely local professional league to be maintained in the country, although Canada participates in the United Soccer Leagues with several teams, and will join Major League Soccer in 2007 with an expansion team in Toronto. Canadian football is Canada's second favourite spectator sport, and is followed by 19% of the country. Its popularity is on the rise since the turn of the century, especially in Southern Ontario, where attendance at football games has doubled in the past five years. The Grey Cup is Canada's biggest single sporting event, and is watched by a significant portion of the country. Canadian football has a long a rich history, and has become a large part of Canada's national identity.
It is possible to be a technological genius, say a computer nerd, without social skills or civil conscience. I'd rather have as a neighbor an illiterate janitor with an easy-going, friendly disposition. Hence, I value what we might call character more than specialist knowledge from an antisocial person. God knows we want everyone to be a well-mannered genius. But humans are not cut out to be happy like pigs in a pen. We instead have insatiable brains, with mental appetites. So our goal is to balance the brainwork with hearts and smiles. "Facts served with sauce." Where does common sense fit on? Is it teachable? To a degree, what we mean by common sense is simply learned experience. Something more exists, though. Those who we praise for common sense may be quick-witted, steady-nerved, and efficient at practical decision-making. It is likely some of those traits depend on genetic brain makeup. In any case, for purposes of an
Introduction This inspirational and easy-to-read guide will make every manager stop and think again about how they approach their jobs. It provides practical advice on how to be prioritized and focused on the key tasks, how to manage in the organization; how to delegate effectively, and how to manage the balance between your work, family and personal needs. Managing yourself Book begins with a basic question: How can you possibly hope to manage your unit, team, organisation or company if you can not manage yourself? Six P-s are poor preparation produces piddling poor performance. Most managers appreciate a certain need for preparation but do not give it nearly as much attention as it deserves. Preparation is vital because it will give you considerable selfconfidence right from the start. To get the best out of yourself you need to feel accountable for your actions and for those of your team

Autumn and winter are the wettest. The sky is usually grey and cold winds blow. On the average, Britain has more than 200 rainy days a year. The English say that they have 3 variants of weather: when it rains in the morning, when it rains in the afternoon, and when it rains all day long. Sometimes it rains so heavily, that they say «It's raining cats and dogs». Britain is known all over the world for its fogs. Sometimes fogs are so thick that it's impossible to see anything within a few meters. The winter fogs of London are, indeed, awful; they surpass all imagination. In a dense fog all traffic is stopped, no vehicle can move from fear of dreadful accidents. So, we may say that the British climate has three main features: it is mild, humid and very changeable. Vocabulary: to surround -- insular climate -- to determine -- temperate belt -- prevailing winds -- the Gulf Stream -- to flow -- shores -- moderate -- striking difference -- throughout -- fickle -- wet -- to blow --

How to Write a Design Report Summary A design report is the written record of the project and generally is the only record that lives once the design team disbands at the end of the project. The report has three sections. The first section describes the problem that was being solved and provides the background to the design. The second section describes the design and the third section evaluates how well the design worked by comparing its performance to the design requirements. The report starts with a short executive summary that contains a synopsis of the three sections. The body of the report is relatively short. Appendices to the

the current in the armature, this produces a Lorentz force which accelerates the projectile along the rails, always out of the loop (regardless of supply polarity) and away from the power supply. There are also Lorentz forces acting on the rails and attempting to push them apart, but since the rails are mounted firmly, they cannot move. By definition, if a current of one ampere flows in a pair of ideal infinitely long parallel conductors that are separated by a distance of one meter, then the magnitude of the force on each meter of those conductors will be exactly 0.2 micro-newtons. Furthermore, in general, the force will be proportional to the square of the magnitude of the current and inversely proportional to the distance between the conductors. It also follows that, for railguns with projectile masses of a few kilograms and barrel lengths of a few meters, very large currents will be required to accelerate projectiles to velocities of additions of 1000 m/s.

which enables to achieve integrated delivery. This simulation must exhibit six characteristics - it must be (Eastman, Teicholz, Sacks, & Liston, 2008): • Digital; • Spatial - 3D; • Measurable - quantifiable, dimension-able and query-able; • Comprehensive - encapsulating and communicating design intent, building performance, constructability, and include sequential and financial aspects of means and methods; • Accessible - to the entire AEC/owner team through an interoperable and intuitive interface; • Durable - usable through all phases of a facility’s life. According to Stuart Bull, a senior 3D modeling technician with Arup Australia, “3D modeling serves often as an interface for the data stored in a Building Information Model, but BIM itself is something beyond the simple geometric representation of building spatial properties.” (Kostura, 2009).
Festivals often close with choirs of around 25,000 taking part in an electrifying finale, in front of an openair audience of about 100,000. The festival takes place at the beginning of July, and it's common for many Estonians to take the week off work and travel to Tallinn to join in the celebrations. Visitors from other countries converge in Tallinn to experience the powerful singing, lively dances and intricate, colourful folk costumes at first hand. If you're interested in seeing this spectacular live performance, or maybe even taking part in a festival, the next event happens in 2004, 2009 and 2013. The song festivals began in 1869, part of the romantic and nationalist movement in Europe. They developed a network of interactions among people along with making folk customs more widely known and practiced. The solidarity that the

It is primarily a report to the public on the important role that cryptology has played, but it may also orient cryptology with regard to its past and alert historians to the sub rosa influence of cryptanalysis. The book seeks to cover the entire history of cryptology. My goal has been twofold: to narrate the development of the various methods of making and breaking codes and ciphers, and to tell how these methods have affected men. When I began this book, I, like other well-informed amateurs, knew about all that had been published on the history of cryptology in books on the subject. How little we really knew! Neither we nor any professionals realized that many valuable articles lurked in scholarly journals, or had induced any
