There are many different ways to acquire education. In general, all children should receive the same education. However, many parents cannot afford to send their children to a private school. I think it is unequal, because some parents do not have enough money. So, what are the advantages and disadvantages of state and private schools. Firstly, there are many different facilities in private schools. For example, there are swimming pools, skating rinks, libraries, etc. I have heard that one school has its own drama class. Of course, state schools cannot afford such things like drama classes and swimming-pools

Can you buy everything for money?

Can you buy everything for money? Money is a resource for which you can afford to buy anything, of course, if this is enough money. But they are also a lot of things (values) that you can not for the money. You can not buy friendship, family, acquaintances and loved ones much more. Money can be used as means of payment can shop in peace, by paying taxes, etc.. Coming back on the friends you can not afford to buy your friends, we do not pay for this, for us who they are. But between, we have a friend do something (to help), and for a small fee to give to a friend. In my opinion, as well as many others have money in the all-powerful, for it can get things done, you should not get in when it is earned. However, I need to stay alive. Money has grown to what it is today. It was originally just a matter of money, which can be converted or

Cars enslave us rather than liberate us

person's residence, whether the person lives in a city or in the countryside, the needs are different. In my opinion, cars enslave people because once a person gets behind the wheel, there is no way out of this comfort. To begin with, car requires a many expenditure, starting from purchasing a car and ending with technical controls, supplying of fuel and so on. It can be said that the material side of the car sustenance is difficult. A person must have a stable income to afford a car. Moreover, it is expensive to get a driver's license. It can be said that owning a car is an expensive pleasure. Secondly, driving a car can be compared to addiction as Matthew Perry once said:" I think we need to educate doctors about our addiction." Initially, people may not notice it, but over time it becomes clear that people cannot pass even the smaller distances without car. For instance, there are people who drive to the gym to do a workout there even if the distance is small

Kõne Briti majandusest inglise keeles

In 1998 compensation claims cost 6.8 billion pounds in Britain. That's a massive amount of money to pay. Let's put that number in context. If you are a sports fan, you could afford a 248-season contract for one of the most paid basketball players in the world, Lebron James. At that time it was eight times the budget, which was approved by the Estonian Government. So it was a heavy sum to pay. In Britain I think they can only blame themselves. You see, unlike many other nations, the UK has no single core constitutional document. In this sense, it is said not to have a written constitution, but much of the British constitution is embodied in written documents,

Newspapers in Britain

Tabloids do not contain much serious news, but offer plenty of sport and 'human interest' plus a bit of 'scandal'. The most popular are The Sun, The Mirror, The Express and the Daily Mail. Popular Sunday papers began in the mid-ninteenth century and were aimed at people who could not afford more expensive daily papers. The quality Sunday papers (The Sunday Times, The Observer and The Independent on Sunday) devote large sections to literature and the arts, business and sport, and have long feature articles which explore specific subjects in depth. They come with colour supplements or magazines. Estonian newspapers.

Report

Dear Sir, The report describes the problem of student transport. In order to prepare this report we interviewed students from all parts of college. According to students we spoke to, the car park is used by a lot of visitors and year by year more students have more cars. Not surprisingly, the car park becomes full and there are not enough possibilities to leave car. The second problem is that the buses often run late and are always full. The majority of students cannot afford the taxi fare from home to college. Some of them are unwilling to go on foot, because they are living far from college. The most realistic solution is to improve the bus service, writing to bus company. As a result good public transport will reduce the number of private cars. The second decision is to raise the price of car parking and extend it into the sports field. Perhaps it will take some time and extra money, but it will solve the majority of our transport problems. Yours sincerely,

Buying on credit is an alternative way

MONOLOGUE Buying on credit is an alternative way INTRODUCTION: Buying on credit is an alternative way, it is said because it is a form of borrowing. MAIN BODY: First of all, credit card offer us a useful form of short term borrowing if you can repay your bill in each month. For example, when you are travelling or just need to unexpectedly make a ig purchase. However, before deciding to borrow money it is important to know if you will be able to repay it back in the future. People must know that free lunches don't exist and anyway they must pay later. PERSONAL OPINION In my opinion credit card is an ,,easy money" and often peole don't know what happens later. We should live according to our abilities and don't buy things when we haven't got enough money. CONCLUSION So, as you can see buying on credit is an alternative method and we should use it only then, when we know if we ...

If I were the misiter on education

If I were the Minister of Education If I got the chance to be the Minister of Education, I would definitely make some changes in school life, changes for the better of course. Firstly, I would improve school catering. I would make school food free for all students because at the moment it is quite expensive. Because of that some students can not afford to eat at school but schooldays are long and it is unhealthy to go all day without eating. School buffet's offer unhealthy chips and pies but very little healthy vegetables and fruits so I would make buffets healthier. Secondly, I believe that it would make classes more effective to watch different educational movies. Doing the same thing from day to day is simply boring and some variety would surely increase students' interest in class.

Essay about museums

The first important advantage of museums is that it educates and broadens your mind. For example, when you go to visit the exhibition, you learn more about the painter and the story behind the picture. Another advantage of museums is that it represents the country. As a result tourists become more aware of our country. On the other hand, there are people who are against of visiting museums. The main drawback of this is that museums cost a lot of money. As a result, many people can not afford to go to the museum. Another disadvantage of visiting museums is that they might be boring. Therefore it is a waste of money and time. All things considered, it seems to me that museums are not a waste of money, because they are very educative and representive. It is important to maintain the history of a country and educate ourselves at least once in a year.

Choices after secondary school

Many people are in the secondary school. After graduation there are two choices there to go: to the university or to work. In university people will get smarter and will have better jobs I future, but if they choose to go to work they can start independent life. Firstly, in university people will gain higher education. Educated people will get better jobs with bigger income. Also they can improve on their work and make career. People who have big income can afford their family better life, because they can bay all that is necessary. Secondly, people get smarter in university. People who have graduated university are often very smart and do not get in trouble. They are very good talking partners, because they have an opinion about every problem (almost). Report

Subject: Suggested improvements to school Date: 1 Decembre 2009 Purpose The purpose of this report is to comment conditions in the school and to make recommendations for possible improvements. The survey has been conducted among our class students. Canteen Firstly, the canteen`s food prices are too low and service is very slow. It would be a good idea to mark down the price of food and to put meals on the table before lunch break. As result service would be faster and more students could afford eating school lunch . Library Furthermore, the majority of the students (56%) are not agreed with library opening hours and range of books. By buying more books and changing library opening hours, we could solve the problem. Teachers` teaching styles Last, the minority of our class students (22%) do not like the teachers` teaching styles. Teachers should explain more clearly what they exactly want from students. In this way all the students would accept the teachers` teaching styles.

The advantages and disadvantages of getting some work experience as a teenager.

Many teenagers want to have their pocket money, but to work at this age they can not, because to go to school. Teenagers age and there fore they can not find a good job. Especially for teenagers were invented volunteer work, where they could work and earn money for themselves. But in volunteer work are the advantages and disadvantages. Firstly the first advantage is that teenagers can earn money by doing, so they can afford do buy what they want. For example a girl can buy a dress that has long wanted, but buy can buy new shoes. The second advantage is that the teenager did not come to work full day, and he could see his friends. The third advantage is that teenagers can go to work in another country. But all is not well. Disadvantages of working adolescents in that it will be very difficult to find work, because they do not want to take all teenagers. Secondly, the second advantage can be disadvantage, because

School uniform pros and cons

School uniform's pros and cons School uniforms are verry popular nowadays, mostly in private schools. But would school uniforms make our lives better? There is no doubt that school uniforms have many advantages. Firstly, they encourage discipline. It would also free children from the pressure to buy trendy clothes. All the childrens would be dressed in the same way and as a result it would cut out a school bullying, which is often used, because some children do not have money to buy expensive and fashionable clothes and they are bullied because of that. Children would not have to think about what to wear in the morning and parents save time taking children shopping and spending extra money. Children will be that much less focused on appearance and more on learning. However school uniforms are good there is some disadvantages too. For example children can not show their character, which is often based on c...

School should provide computers for students to use for all their school subjects

have computers but there is no need for all the subjects. Firstly, sitting a long time in front of the computer screen is unhealthy. Students' eyes will be dry and they may have headache. It can also have a negative effect on students' moods. In addition, computer labs' maintenance is expensive. One which can be need to writing and using Internet only, costs not much, but if we need to buy about twenty computers for one class - it is huge amount. Only schools that have a lot of money can afford more machines. On the other hand, notebook can be useful and it doesn't damage your senses and health, but living in 21st century means using computers a lot. Moreover, a computer can be very convenient and useful for students. In conclusion, I think that in the near future students are going to use computers for all their subjects at school, but now we should try to avoid total computerization. I hope that will not be a global problem.

PIRACY Life of the 21th century is getting more and more expensive. People can't afford themselves that kind of entertainment that they did at the end of 20th century. Because of that there are a lot of piracy in that world and I think that it is one of the biggest crime of nowadays technological ear. Piracy is a form of theft. Morden technology has made wide-scale trading of music possible in the form of MP3 files available over the internet for free, all at the click of a mouse. We have to consider that not everything on the internet is legal

I am an animal person

Every animal it does not matter how big or small he/she is, loves his/her host with all of his heart and he/she does not care how rich or famous you are. For example, puppies do so much trouble when they are young, but they show love every single day, sometimes they have to lick only your cheek to make you feel good. Secondly, one fateful thing about having an animal is that people do not have any time for them. Some people travel a lot and they can not afford to keep an animal. And even if you do not travel much and you want an animal, you have to have time for them. Lastly, some people are allergetic for animals hair, so they can not have any animal except fishes, snakes etc. In conclusion, I think it is good to have an animal. They can give a lot of fun and make your every day better. Of course, there is responsibility, but the joy you get is best of all.

Firstly, sitting in front of a computer screen all day can be damaging for students' health, especially sight. As a result, children can feel more exhausted after school than they do now. It can also have a negative effect on students' moods. In addition, providing computers for students to use for all the subjects in Estonia is unreasonable. I am trying to say that many schools have more urgent problems than low level of computerizing. Only some prestigeous schools can afford themselves to have a PC for every student. On the other hand, living in the 21st century means using computers a lot, so why not let children get used to this? Moreover, a computer can be very convenient and useful for students. In conclusion, I think that in less than a decade students are going to to use computers for all their subjects at school but now we should try to avoid total computarization...

Arts related entertainment should be free

to evaluate art. Also art educates people and enlarges their knowledge. But on the other hand, keeping and taking care of exhibitons have so many expenses like hiring skilled staff or paying electricity bills that it is impossible not to pay for visiting art galleries. In addition to that being a artist is a job like every another one too and needs to be paid. Finally, I think it it better to decrease the prices of art galleries to the lowest price so that anybody in society could afford it and enjoy arts. In this way more people would visit art exhibitions and educate themselves. In conclusion, in my opinion arts related entertainment should not be free, because all artists need to have an income and have to be paid. But visiting exhibitons should be as cheap as possible so more people would visit it and actually pay attention to art more than they do now.

The mobile phone - a good thing or a bad thing

· Secondly mobile phones are comfortable to use, because you can use it when ever you want. No matter if you are in the bus or just walking in the park, you can always make a call. · Another point is that there is a big variety of mobile phones. Every person can pick just the right colour or shape that he/she wants. · Last but no least mobile phones have became quite cheap so almost every person can afford one. Mobile phones have also disadvantages. · First of all, it can be argued that email is so easy. Thats because it takes time to get used to all new sorts of phones and tehqnologe. · A second point is that always talking face to face is better. Its also better because the person youre talking to can see your emotions. · A final and very important point is that you can get addicted to a mobile phone and it can take over your life.

Essee: Can money buy happiness?

Can money buy happiness Since I can remember I have heard people say, that money cannot buy happiness. I generally believe it to be true; the most important things in life, such as friends, family and love can't be bought. However, in today's world we must agree that life without money can be really stressful and hard. If one doesn't have any money, one can't afford to pay rent, buy food, clothes, get medical help if needed or basically do anything. For example, people in developing countries are very poor, they don't have access to pure drinking water or food and they are unable to get proper medical help and that's why in Africa there are always all kinds of diseases spreading. Money is something that can cause a lot of trouble, it makes people greedy and it can even ruin relationships, but it is also something we cannot live without

Advantages and disadvantages of advertising

Not only advertising itself needs many workers, but companies who are increasing their sales volume of goods mostly expand themselves and that may give job to thousands of people. Unfortunately there are some dark sides of advertising. Firstly, it uses children to increase its income and impressionable kids will make their parents life as hard as possible to get what they want, even if it is not necessary or healthy. Secondly, it encourages monopoly because big companies can afford advertising their products more so other products will stay in shadow. And finally, advertising is very expensive and the money that is spend on advertisements could have been used for charities for example. As we can see now, advertising does not have only the good side, but also the dark one. Still, no matter how many disadvantages we will find about it nothing will change. Advertising is here to stay and I think that we should focus on positive because noticing only negative will

Marriage is an outdated institution

America. There are many reasons why this happen and people get divorced. Infidelity, poor communication, change in priorities and cte. Nobody can't say that it does no happen to us, because we love each other so much. but never say never, because if your marriage ends you should know the cost of divorce and it could be a lot more than you may think. A lot of fees: lawyer's fees, court bills, . and someone even can't afford a divorce. My advice is : Do not get married. There are so many advantages of not getting married. You don't have to deal with the financial stress of planning a wedding- the dress, the rings the vows and so on. You will never have to deal with divorce, ever. No last name drama. Bu t don't get me wrong. For many people getting married is a symbol of love and it is extremely important to them but i do not see the point of getting married and paying money to prove your love.

Law of Diminishing Returns

Any manufacturing and production company can use this proposition (or Law) to their betterment. Is Tony right in his analysis of the situation? Explain. According to my point of view, Tony's decision of increasing the price a good decision as Pizza is a product that represents a small portion of an individual's income so an increase or decrease in the price would not affect the demand drastically as the demand for such products remain in- elastic. In this case he can afford to increase the price of his pizza as it I one of the Best pizzas in town so his customers would not mind a slight increase in the price as it would still be affordable for them. Secondly Tony's pizza being the best, his customers would not leave it for a substitute because of a slight prize change and they would still buy it and his Total revenues will not decrease. 1

Argumentative presentation: Estonia does need a nuclear power station

Furthermore they do not have constant output sources of energy. They only supplement the existing systems. The biggest problem is the the increasing cost, if the most optimal places are taken. There are problems with using nuclear energy. For example, nuclear proliferation, plant decommissioning and waste are among the top problems. However, it is greenest sustainable constant form of energy that Estonia can potentially afford. The fact, that Estonia has plutonium fuel resources available is just an additional bonus. To sum up. First of all i talked about how Estonia is facing energy crisis right now. Second of all I elaborated that there are no means to buy energy from neighbouring countries. For closure, I mentioned that although nuclear energy has problems, there might not be a better solution that is affordable. Thank you for listening and if you have questions, please ask them now.

name it that, that determines a reason for things we do or why we find certain things moral or immoral and why we want to follow certain things through, example given why we eat - so to not starve or why we follow the law - so to not go to jail. 4. What was civic democracy in Medieval society? Civic democracy was called feudalism. It comes from the Latin word feodum or feudum. It is a structure in society, which includes higher ups that had land or could afford protection for themselves and fo those, who could not afford it and people working for them in a way that benefits everyone in the society. It is similar to a pyramid scheme. The 3 main classes that held this structure together were lords, vassals and fiefs. There is a common saying from that time period as well - my vassals vassal is not my vassal. It meant that the vassal was only responsible for the person working directly under them and not for the person working under their worker

Tourists in Estonia

and take pictures of everything. And one weird thing is that only younger Japanese get lost here at least I haven't seen any middle-age Japanese. The Yanks Americans are here usually with their familys, they are huge and very loud. They visit all the sightseeings only because everybody does that. They get here with cruise ships and a lot of them even won't come out of the ship. The Turks Turks looks like Russians but they are here for girls. Some richer young Turks can afford to travel and they are here in Estonia. Turks don't do anything beside watching Estonian teenagers. That is a little bit sick but this is also tourism. I'm not a girl so I don't have anything to do with Turks. But sometimes in summer they are here.

People gain a lot from foreign travel

Essay: People gain a lot from foreign travel There is a saying that many people gain a lot from foreign travel. In myopinion, it is certainly true. Every person tries to travel as much as possible. There is a huge number of advantages of foreign travel and I would like to describe some of them. One of the significant benefits is knowledge that we gain from travelling. It is quite an expensive hobby and poor people can`t afford it. They are not able to get experience in different foreign cultures because such people do not travel at all. Every culture differs from another and it is not possible to learn all of them. But everyone should try to see the difference between our and foreign culture. Furthermore, learning from travelling is more interesting and funny than learning at home. Moreover, one particular thing about culture is the unique food. Foreign cuisine has a big variety of cooking methods from the unusual

Famine esitlus

Famine Carmen Kaljulaid 11 a World Hunger, Poverty & Famine: How They Fit Together 923 million people across the world are hungry. In essence, hunger is the most extreme form of poverty, where individuals or families cannot afford to meet their most basic need for food. Hunger manifests itself in many ways other than starvation and famine. Most poor people who battle hunger deal with chronic undernourishment and vitamin or mineral deficiencies, which result in stunted growth, weakness and heightened susceptibility to illness. Countries in which a large portion of the population battles hunger daily are usually poor and often lack the social safety nets we enjoy, such as soup

Money in our everyday life Money plays a quite important role in our everyday life First of all, nowadays mostly everything circles around money and how much people can afford things. Secondly, every adult has to work so they could get the paycheck at the end of the month they need to pay the bills, buy food and to pay for any other expences. On the other hand, money is not the only thing in the world and money does not give you everything. You can't buy a family and friends. In conclusion, even if people work every day in order to pay for their expences, money is not the only thing in the world that makes people happy and satisfied with their life Advertising on TV

Why was life better-worse in Estonia 50 years ago?

In 1950s' there were any conveniences at all everything had to be made by yourself and people were living a poor life. People did not have the chance to own expensive technics(as a matter of fact some of them were not invented yet or it just had not been that widespread), wear the clothes they would have liked and live a life like they had always wished. Even if they tried hard to pursue to the highs, the chance of getting somewhere was close to zero. Nowadays, people can afford themselves a good and livable life, having the work done by machines, wear the clothes they want to and feel free to become more and more successful every day. Secondly, 50 years ago, people had very limited rights, which made them kind a shy and sour. Even getting a job was a complicated act, because there were not many workstations. And the other problem was that people did not have fair qualification. Nowadays there is open ways everywhere. Anyone can study and work on whatever

educational mission by supporting learning activities around the world, from teachers' conferences and family workshops to creative writing master classes and writing competitions. A CHRISTMAS CAROL Dickens began to write A Christmas Carol in September 1843, and completed the book in six weeks with the final pages written in the beginning of December in time to be published for Christmas with illustrations by John Leech. ... He set the price at 5 shillings so that everyone could afford it. This combination resulted in disappointingly low profits despite high sales. In the first few days of its release the book sold six thousand copies and its popularity continued to grow. The first and best of his Christmas Books, A Christmas Carol has become a Christmas tradition and easily Dickens' best known book. PLOT SUMMARY Ebenezer Scrooge is a miserly old man who believes that Christmas is just an excuse for people to miss work and for idle people to expect handouts

Happiness

time and think about the idiotic things they whine about they would realize that they are way too overrating and that life is too short for it. Money is definitely one of the most vital sources of happiness. Also in this subject the lack of it which brings the unhappiness all over the world. We cannot deny the importance of it but we must value what we have and not cry over the things we do not. Some of us are rich and wealthy, some of us are not. Usually it is so that people who cannot afford everything and who have suffered more in life are living in reality with both feet on the ground. I admire them due to the fact that sometimes I get 10 feet off the ground and I do not want to come down. But I am bothered by those who can only complain, because then they miss the bright side of life. They will not even notice when something great is happening in their life. I am saying that it is possible for every one of us to find happiness in this world. The

The Unique Girl

and think "What an odd appearance. Kind of cool, but odd". If you bothered to waste your brain you could think that about every other person actually. It must be said that the Lila looks cool and stylish. Her style has become a trend even though she doesn't admit to it. She sees herself as one of a kind. At least that is what she wishes she could be. She mustn't be mistaken for the labels girl. Lila hates all kinds of labels. She never wears Guess or D&G even though she could very well afford them. She does all her shopping in second hand stores. She is trying so hard to keep the locations secret, not to have competition. Even though she actually shops a lot in her own secret places Lila doesn't have a decent pair of jeans or black pants. Or at least she is never seen in one. Her cupboard is full of big granny pullovers, black tights and all kinds of different dresses that she combines with her various cardigans. As you have probably noticed her appearance is very important to her
