Assessment report

To: Mrs D.White, Marco´s Manager From: Kevin Raev , Assistant Manager Subject: Assessment report of Marco´s suggesting changes Introduction. The purpose of this report is to assess the good and bad points of the Marco´s fast food restaurant. Food and Prices Furthermore the meals are good value for money as the prices are quite reasonable. However the clients are complaining that there are not many dishes to choose from, so we need more meals. Service The staff are very friendly and and helpful and they are able to make helpful suggestions about the menu. However the service is a little short handed, It would be a good idea to hire extra people during the lunch and dinner time for rushes so that the service is always fast and efficient Atmosphere There is friendly relaxed atmosphere in our restaurant. . However the restaurant is old and not very clean. Conclusion Marco's is a fast food restaurant with reasonable prices. If you would consider changes I suggested, we could get more c

Dey Bared to You RuLit Net

Thank you, Dave. You saved my life. Acknowledgments My deepest gratitude to my editor, Hilary Sares, who really dug into this story and made me work for it. Basically, she kicked my ass. By not pulling her punches or letting me shortchange the details, she made me work harder and because of that, this story is a much, much better book. BARED TO YOU wouldn't be what it is without you, Hilary. Thank you so much! To Martha Trachtenberg, copy editor extraordinaire. This book is an important one for me and she treated it that way. Thank you, Martha! To Victoria Colotta, for all her hard work on the interior design and typesetting. She took my plain text and made it gorgeous. Thank you, Victoria! To Tera Kleinfelter, who read the first half of Bared to You and told me she loved it. Thank you, Tera!

Challenges of childrens participation A Case Study of active citizenship in Cadle Primary School

4 social actors has provoked a great controversy as it challenges the image of the incompetent child which is overwhelmingly prevalent in the Western society. It has generated a great confusion `about what role young people below the age of majority should play in community and political life`.6 On the one hand, there is a growing recognition with respect to children`s participation in society. On the other hand, children are seen as welfare dependants, needy for care and protection of adults. The goal of this dissertation is to critically explore this hotly debated tension between these two conflicting salient features that have often prevented the recognition of children as active citizens, entitled to respect and participation. With a particular interest in Wales, the following research project analyses the

William Shakespeare - Hamlet

Source: Feedbooks 1 About Shakespeare: William Shakespeare (baptised 26 April 1564 – died 23 April 1616) was an English poet and playwright, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist. He is often called England's national poet and the "Bard of Avon" (or simply "The Bard"). His surviv- ing works consist of 38 plays, 154 sonnets, two long narrative poems, and several other poems. His plays have been trans- lated into every major living language, and are performed more often than those of any other playwright. Shakespeare was born and raised in Stratford-upon-Avon. At the age of 18 he married Anne Hathaway, who bore him three children: Susanna, and twins Hamnet and Judith. Between 1585 and 1592 he began a successful career in London as an actor, writer, and part owner of the playing company the Lord Chamberlain's Men, later known as the King's Men. He ap-

Public International Law is a system of law

letter gets delivered. Why is this so easy, because there are certain international conventions that regulate postal services. E.g. traffic signs are almost the same everywhere, why? Because of certain int conventions that require the states to have more or less unified traffic signs. States apply international regulations to national regulations and they have to be in accordance with each other, the states can always specify these regulations. Therefore, PIL regulates people indirectly. Another unique feature: domestic law sources have a clear pyramid (top to bottom: constitution, laws, individual contracts, they cannot contradict each other) and all sources are written. In PIL there is no such hierarchy, but there are primary sources (all are equally important) and secondary sources and all are not written. Primary sources: written documents

Cats

AMBER AND RUSSET - LATE COLOUR CHANGE GENES Copyright 2014, Sarah Hartwell The ancestors of the domestic cat were nondescript black/brown striped tabbies. Over the centuries, mutation produced a wide array of colours based on 2 different pigments. Eumelanin gives the blacks, browns and blues while phaeomelanin gives the reds, fawns and creams. A few other genes give further variations on those colours such silvers, colourpoints and solids/selfs. Mutations continue to occur and unexpected colours also turn up due to inbreeding where recessive genes, hidden for generations, start showing up. AMBER AND LIGHT AMBER During the 1990s, some purebred Norwegian Forest Cats in Sweden produced chocolate/lilac and cinnamon/fawn offspring. However, those colours are not found in the purebred Norwegian Forest Cat gene pool

THE CAPITALIST NIGER

THE CAPITALIST NIGER Chika Onyeani ………………………Every African must internalise this book - period….DAA INTRODUCTION In October 1960, Nigeria received its independence from Britain. By then, Ghana the former Gold Coast had been independent for three years under the great Osagyefo Kwame Nkumah. It was a time for celebrating Africa’s coming of age, as more and more African countries received their independence either from Britain or France. It was especially a poignant time for Africa, as then British Prime Minister Harold McMillan articulated his now famous “winds of change” sweeping Africa. We had high hopes for Africa, for the Black race, that the insidious imposition of foreign rule on us, the looting of Africa’s

Jane Austen

Chapter 21 Chapter 42 Chapter 1 It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife. However little known the feelings or views of such a man may be on his first entering a neighbourhood, this truth is so well fixed in the minds of the surrounding families, that he is considered the rightful property of some one or other of their daughters. "My dear Mr. Bennet," said his lady to him one day, "have you heard that Netherfield Park is let at last?" Mr. Bennet replied that he had not. "But it is," returned she; "for Mrs. Long has just been here, and she told me all about it." Mr. Bennet made no answer. "Do you not want to know who has taken it?" cried his wife impatiently. "You want to tell me, and I have no objection to hearing it." This was invitation enough. "Why, my dear, you must know, Mrs

Kuidas muudab mudelprojekteerimine teraskonstruktsioonide valmistamist ja ehitamist

Michelangelo, Leonardo, Calatrava, Gehry, Kahn, etc. – have built mock-ups of their projects before beginning construction in order to resolve unforeseen design issues and check for constructability. During the last decade, this model-building has moved into the virtual world in the form of Building Information Modeling (BIM). The idea of an intelligent information rich building model is not new. The identity of BIM dates back nearly 30 years, while the terminology of the “Building Information Model” has been in circulation for at least 15 years. Mass production and standardization that dominated the 20th century steel industry, is now, as a result of the proliferation of 3D computer aided design and manufacturing tools, turning into mass customization. The first notable steel structure to utilize 3D modeling was a copper-clad fish sculpture designed by Frank Gehry for Barcelona’s 1992 Olympic village

Backpaking lifestyle

concept of lifestyle allows for a contemporary appraisal of these individuals’ patterns of meaningful consumption and wider insights into how ongoing mobility can lead to different ways of understanding identities and relating to place. Keywords: lifestyle consumption; backpacker; mobility; drifter; identity INTRODUCTION Within the social world of backpacking, there exist a small proportion of tourists who travel as a lifestyle for years on end. Reminiscent of Cohen’s (1972) seminal ‘drifter tourists’, but subverting connotations of aimlessness implicit in this term, these extreme tourists, who I reconceptualise as ‘lifestyle travellers’, move beyond an episodic consumption of backpacking. Backpacking is instead extended to an ongoing lifestyle practice that on a micro level provides both a unique sense of self to its practitioners and on a macro level comprises a distinct and recognisable social identity

(religion, organization); laws imposed on people by a government Penalties for breaking the rules are different. For not following the customs there may not be a punishment, or a person may be criticized by the society; rules of a social institution tend to carry precise penalties but they are not enforceable by any political authority; however governments use a system of courts backed by the power of the police to enforce the laws they have made. The relations between people are regulated by a combination of all these rules. One of the ways to classify laws is to separate them into prescriprive and descriptive law. Descriptive laws simply describe how people usually behave. For example law of gravity- if a person throws an apple up in the air, then it’s very likely that it falls down again. Other laws are prescriptive- they prescribe how people should or should not behave. For
