Mussolini

one of the key figures in the creation of Fascism. He became the Prime Minister of Italy in 1922 and began using the title Il Duce by 1925. After 1936, his official title was "His Excellency Benito Mussolini, Head of Government, Duce of Fascism, and Founder of the Empire". Mussolini was born into a working class background; his father Alessandro Mussolini was a blacksmith and a Marxist activist, while his mother Rosa was a school teacher; unlike her husband, she was a devout Catholic. His father named Benito after Mexican reformist President Benito Juárez; while his middle names Andrea and Amilcare were from Italian socialists Andrea Costa and Amilcare Cipriani. Benito was the eldest of his parents' three children. As a young boy, Mussolini would spend time helping his father in his blacksmithing it was likely here that he was exposed to his father's significant political beliefs. The conflict

He quite often didn’t have his own opinion in anything. But on the otherhand he was the one lead the rebellion against Alex. When Alex got out of the jail the last time all of his friends, rivals and also his victims turned against him. Georgie was interesten in violence for the sake of financial gain, unlike Alex, who was interested in violence just for the pure sake of violence. Georgie wanted to be wealthy unlike his gangmembers but it was that what made him stand out from the gang. He was not that interested in beating men and raping women because he was in my opinion more intelligent than the others. He rather kept to himself. In my opinion Georgie was ruthless, enthusiatic, quite agressive, maybe even obnoxious but

Elistvere Animal Park One Sunday in October I visited Elistvere Animal Park. There are wild animals in the park that naturally live in Estonian wild nature. Unlike most zoos there animals live in as natural conditions as possible. In Elistvere I saw elks, lynxes, foxes, wild boars and many more animals that we can come across in nature. Also I saw there animals who don't live in Estonian nature but they can easily live in our climatical conditions, for example European buffalos and reindeers. There is a terrarium house where are smaller and exotical animals but unfortunately it was closed that day. Most of all I like lynxes and brown bear

Practical chemistry lead me first to household chemicals, then I started studying fertilizers and discovered the charms of agriculture. As I've grown up in a big city, cows and other farm animals have always symbolised a better world, something more perfect but less accessible to me. Yes, especially cows, I've always loved them. So a few years after university it was clear to me that I want to work with cows. Catherine: To me the profession of a milkmaid was no accident. Unlike Marc, I grew up in the country. We had many animals and my mother taught me to take care of them already when I was a little girl. I learned to milk long before I could do anything else with my hands. (Laughs.) I have always had a special place in my heart for animals. I admire the beauty of horses, the bravery of dogs and the grace of cats, but cows are the most fascinating creatures of all they produce so much milk. And it's so unbelievably tasty! Also the cabin was really dirty. It seemed like it had not been cleaned for a long time. I felt very uncomfortable staying there. What is more, I had to share my bathroom with other guests, which was really unpleasant and annoying. It surprised me because your advertisement said that you have private bathrooms. Furthermore, the food in the restaurant was horrible. It was cold and tasted awfully. I had to wait for two hours for the waitress to bring me my meal. It was really unpleasant and unlike the "5 star restaurant" you advertised. I am very disappointed indeed. I would like a full refund for the cost of my cruise as well as an apology for the appalling conditions. I hope to hear to hear from you regarding this matter as soon as possible. Tallinn Old Town It was built up from the 13th to 16th centuries, when Tallinn was a thriving member of the Hanseatic trade league. It is built on a big hill and is surrounded with big walls. There is a lot of medieval style houses and inns, courtyards, churches and museums and a lot more. Many have described Tallinn Old Town as mystic and addictive. Unlike other capital cities in Europe, Tallinn has managed to preserve the completeness and structure of it's medieval and Hanseatic origin. Even after 7 centuries, Town Hall Square still remains as the social heart of the city and is hosting many concerts and fairs. Town Hall on Town Hall square is the only intact Gothic town hall in Northern Europe, now operates as a museum and concert hall.On top of the Town Hall tower, you will see a beloved guard of Tallinn Old Town Vana Toomas

Estonian Language

Some people have said Estonian reminds them of the sound of babbling water. Some non-Estonian people I know just say it sounds weird. Estonian language is closely related to Finnish. Originally they were a single language but they parted about 5000 years ago. Most of Estonian vocabulary is borrowed from other languages like German ang English. Very few of Estonian words are originally Estonian. For example, suu (mouth), vesi (water) and ema (mother). One thing that features Estonian is that unlike any other language, Estonian has three degrees of phoneme lenght: short, long and overlong. Pronouncing the phoneme differently can change the meaning of the word. There are many different dialects in Estonian language. The dialects are divided into two groups: southern and northern dialects. They differ from each other so much that it is very difficult for a northern dialect speaker to fully understand southern dialect speaker.

Conventional medicine has little to learn from alternative medicine

In our modern world more and more people look for alternative medicine instead of taking conventional treatment. Which of these treatments is better or can they both be used effectively in different cases? It is generally understood that when having a severe condition or an emergency, conventional treatment is strongly needed. For example, in a case of a heart attack or a severed limb, it is vital to find a way to a hospital or surgeon in a hurry. Unlike alternative medicine, conventional medicine has proven effectiveness and is scientifically based, while alternative medicine has a lack of scientific basis and its results are not always consistent. On the other hand, alternative medicine is better when having relatively mild condition, such as headaches, then a doctor would probably write out pain killers. Not much help in the long term. Alternative medicine is also the last chance, when having an untreatable condition, like cancer

Like most subtropical mammals, but unlike most bears, the giant panda does not hibernate. The Giant Panda is endangered as there are only 2,000-3,000 of them living in the wild and about 270 living in captivity. They have become endangered due to the destruction of their habitat and the variety of bamboo that is decreasing. They are also illegally hunted for their fur. To protect them, there have been many special wildlife parks set up. Elephants live in Central Africa and are the largest land animals alive today

As the plot evolves, these two spectacularily appalling figures get close and share unique experiences. Together they help out a friend dealing with the loss of a girlfriend, travel to the Netherlands to meet Hazel’s favourite author and much more. Unlike any other teenage-cliche movie it has a tragic, tearful ending, that makes a reader realize and value the existance of her or his own loved ones in life. What author John Green has managed to achieve is the realistic description of heroic cancer figthers with all the ups and downs of a teenage person. The book is full of witty humor, heartbreaking happenings, making a reader laugh, cry and smile again within only 313 pages. I thoroughly recommend this book!

Pandas are known for their large black patches around their eyes, ears and across their round bodies. Male pandas can weigh up to 160 kg and females can weigh as little as 75 kg. If summer holidays were shorter, they wouldn't have time to do all this. School is hard work. Learning new things all day, and after school there is homework to do. There is quite little time left for children to keen on their hobbies. Men do all the same things all day and some women stay home and drink coffee, while their kids are in school. Children, unlike adults, don't get paid. Children can be quite difficult to handle. There is the whole class of boys and girl and only one teacher. It is tiring for teachers too. Most children enjoy holidays and teachers need to enjoy them even more to get back to school fresh and rested. Summer holidays need to be long, so everyone could rest and spend time with their kids. If holidays are long enough, then finally children get bored of sitting at home and would want to go back to school

Foods eaten out tend to be higher in fat and research has shown that those who eat out regularly generally have higher intakes of fat, salt and calories. Studis have also shown that eating with friends can tempt us to overeat. Despite its small size, the Sun Bear possesses a very long, slender tongue, ranging from 8 to 10 inches (20-25 cm) in length. The bear uses it to extract honey from beehives. Unlike other bears, the Sun Bear's fur is short and sleek. This adaptation is probably due to the lowland climates it inhabits. Dark black or brown-black fur covers its body, except on the chest, where there is a pale orange-yellow marking in the shape of a horseshoe. Similar colored fur can be found around the muzzle and the eyes. These distinctive markings give the Sun Bear its name. If in the Country should be happen any emergency, it will takes time to deal the situation, which put people to worry. Life in Town is completely different. For example : huge shopping centres, better chance to get a job and crime. Huge shopping centres locate in Town, because population is bigger than in the Country. In Town there are lot of opportunities to get a job, unlike in the Country. Violence and crime is popular in Town, although in the Country it is possible too. Population of Town is so much bigger, that's why we can see broken bus-stops, defiled shcools and so on. In addition, I think that life in the Country seems so much better, in the other hand it is harder too. If people are suffering from stress, then it is right place where to relax or even live.

The tracks are built on pain and anger, emotions that every living person feels but rarely do we sing about them. When I listen to Three Days Grace, especially when I'm angry or consumed by some strong negative emotions, it helps me calm down and just think everything over again. The songs are sung by such emotion, passion and at the same time, with aggression, that it makes you feel like someone else in the world knows exactly how you feel. Unlike most, I like Three Days Grace's debut album more than the albums that followed the first. I have been listening to it for more than a year now and have yet to grow tired of it. I suggest it to all people who have a liking towards rock, just want to listen to some good music or to some who want to feel like their being understood and instead of doing something stupid that they might regret later, just sit and listen to the tracks on this CD.

Lake Eyre is the largest lake in Australia and also the lowest point. One of the most beautiful things you can see in Australia is Uluru, also called Ayers Rock. It is 600 million years old, and it is the largest rock of its kind in the world. Uluru is a sacred place for the Aborigines. Thanks to Australia's isolation, it has plants and animals unlike anywhere else in the world. The kangaroo is the most well-known of them. They have strong back legs and tails, allowing them to travel at high speeds and jump very high and far. The koalas live in eucalyptus trees, sleeping for 18 hours and drinking almost nothing. In 1998 compensation claims cost 6.8 billion pounds in Britain. That's a massive amount of money to pay. Let's put that number in context. If you are a sports fan, you could afford a 248-season contract for one of the most paid basketball players in the world, Lebron James. At that time it was eight times the budget, which was approved by the Estonian Government. So it was a heavy sum to pay. In Britain I think they can only blame themselves. You see, unlike many other nations, the UK has no single core constitutional document. In this sense, it is said not to have a written constitution, but much of the British constitution is embodied in written documents, within statues, court judgments and treaties. So in my opinion that's a stupid system. Because if you watch other countries how much do they pay for compensation claims then it's nothing. Though in other countries there are huge sums what civilians get from companies. A

BABA IS YOU

BABA IS YOU Game REVIEW Baba is You, developed by Hempuli Oy, is a sokoban-pushing puzzle game with a twist of rules manipulation. In this 2D game, the internal rules are presented as pushable blocks and you main goal is to push these blocks around and then combine these words to form new rules to solve puzzles. Unlike other puzzle games that require you to follow rules to complete levels, Baba is You encourages you to break rules and also gives you enough freedom to create new rules to level up. I know, the idea sounds really interesting and smart! The game doesn’t have too many instructions and it only has characters and corresponding objects on each stage. Players may be confused about how to play the game at first, but once you get deeper into the game and learn the

Xeon CPU. While the Slot 1 interface features a 242-contact connector, Slot 2 uses a somewhat wider 330-contact connector. The biggest difference between Slot 1 and Slot 2, though, is that the Slot 2 design allows the CPU to communicate with the L2 cache at the CPU's full clock speed. In contrast, Slot 1 only supports communication between the L2 cache and CPU at half the CPU's clock speed. Xeon - A line of Pentium II chipsets from Intel introduced in 1998. Unlike previous Pentium II chips, which used a Slot 1 form factor, Xeon chips use Slot 2. This allows for faster data transfers between the CPU and L2 cache. Xeon chip speeds start at 400 MHz. Cache - Pronounced cash, a special high-speed storage mechanism. It can be either a reserved section of main memory or an independent high-speed storage device. Two types of caching are commonly used in personal computers: memory caching and disk caching.

If you're new in town, they're the ones to follow . . . as there's a good chance that they're planning to dance the early morning away in one of Barcelona's many discos. The club scene in the city can be expensive but if you know where to go, you don't have to spend a fortune. The Maremagnum shopping mall at Port Vell, at the end of Las Ramblas, transforms into a clubbers' paradise by night. Unlike most other places, there isn't a charge to get in. Whatever your taste in music, jazz, rock or house, there's a niche for everyone in the Catalan capital. The drink, pastis, is guaranteed to get you in the party mood. It's best sampled in the bar of the same name. Bar Pastis is a tiny place with a big personality. It has a French cabaret theme and an endless supply of crackling Edith Piaf records.

Why I came to study English essay

As the school went on and I finally found myself in 9 th grade, just before the exams, and I realised that in the following years after my graduation from elementary school, my mathematic skills had gotten a bit rusty and I was mortified. Our teachers kept saying to us that math is really important in the future and that you have to have the knowledge in mathemathics to actually achieve something in your life. But still, there I was, writing poems and essays, even in my free time, because unlike my skills in maths and other subjects like chemistry and biology, my skills in writing had actually improved and I had also discovered my love of reading in English. I had always loved to read, but many of the books I loved had not been translated into Estonian, so naturally I had to read them in English. At the end of the 9th grade I actually made a promise to myself, that I would try to graduate high school with

into magical realism and insanity." `'Michael Cera plays Scott Pilgrim, who has to fight the seven evil exboyfriends of his new girlfriend (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). "I had sort of Jackie Chan style fights. We weren't going to do a lot of slomo sort of Matrix style stuff. So it's going back to doing like `80s Jackie Chan stuff and a lot of the team are from Jackie Chan's fight school. The tricky thing with this is that unlike a superhero film, you kind of have to hide in plain sight because nobody has masks. So there's obviously some trickery going on and some sort of stunt doubles but Michael Cera does more than you would think as all the actors do." The visual effects employed in the film, covered a huge spectrum, including creating some of the film's stylised exteriors and CG environments, comic book graphics, visualised music, and of course, the 7 fights, ranging from

Chapter Thirteen – Newborn

A newborn named Peter proved so useful that he was put in charge of watching over the others. Peter fell in love with a newborn named Charlotte, and they ran away together when it was time for Charlotte to be culled from the group. Five years later, Peter came back to tell Jasper of a better life with no warring; a life outside of the south. Jasper left Maria for this new life without a second thought, but as he continued to kill for food, his depression grew. Unlike Peter and Charlotte, he could feel the horror and fear of each kill, thanks to his gift, and was reminded of his last night as a human. He left his companions after a while to live on his own. He tried not to feed, but had to eventually, fueling his depression. Then, in Philadelphia, he entered a diner to get out of the rain and met Alice for the first time. She was waiting on him; she had "seen" him. She told him of the Cullens, whom she had also

Unlike the induction motor, the synchronous motor has no slip (S = 0) and its speed does not depend on the load. What part of the synchronous motor serves as an excitation source and which winding is at ac supply? In the synchronous motor, the rotor plays the role of an inductor. It is excited by either the excitation winding or the permanent magnets. The stator plays the role of an armature. It is supplied by ac. If the counter-torque of the motor increases, how will the torque change?

cooperate, humans will always help more. Children seem to be innate helpers. They act selflessly before social norms set in. Studies have shown that they will spontaneously open doors for adults and pick up "accidentally" dropped items. They will even stop playing to help. Their sense of fairness begins young. Even if an experiment is unfairly rigged so that one child receives more rewards, they will ensure a reward is fairly split. Children show 'proactive' kindness, unlike our close relatives (Credit: Thinkstock) Children show 'proactive' kindness, unlike our close relatives (Credit: Thinkstock) We know that chimpanzees also work together and share food in apparently unselfish ways. However, Michael Tomasello of the Max Planck institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Germany, says they will only cooperate if there is something in it for them. "Humans do that too, but in addition they care about what their partner gets.

water, which is harmful to river habitats. Hydroelectric power plants don't work for a very long time. Silt, or dirt from a riverbed, builds up behind the dam and slows the flow of water. Geothermal energy Geothermal energy is the heat from the Earth. It's clean and sustainable. It can be extracted without burning a fossil fuel such as coal, gas, or oil. Geothermal fields produce only about onesixth of the carbon dioxide that a relatively clean naturalgasfueled power plant produces. Unlike solar and wind energy, geothermal energy is always available, 365 days a year. It's relatively inexpensive. There are three types of geothermal power plants: dry steam, flash, and binary. Geothermal energy is generated in over 20 countries. The United States is the world's largest producer. In Iceland, many of the buildings and even swimming pools are heated with geothermal hot water. Negative aspects of geothermal energy The main concern is the release of hydrogen

famous athlete, however she was actually pretty talented. She held a local record for sprint and often trained in school for the athletics team. Jack described Julie having a high ridge of cheekbone beneath her eyes, which gave her the deep look of some rare wild animal. In electric light her eyes were black and big. The soft line of her mouth was just broken by two front teeth and she had to pout a little to conceal her smile. Jack obviously longed to examine his older sister. Unlike Jack, Julie takes great care of her appearance, which takes considerable preparation each evening. I think Jack was unhappy because Julie never spoke to him or acknowledged his presence at school. She even refused to walk to school together because she didn’t want to be seen with him. Her closest friends had a reputation at school and she thought that it wouldn’t be good for her reputation. In spite of all this, Jack couldn’t get enough of observing her.

Cotton exports from the South boomed after the cotton gin's appearance (going from 180,000 pounds of total cotton production in 1793 to 93 million tons by 1810) while New England manufacturing companies struggled to compete against imported goods and clamored for tariff protection. The cotton interests led the country into war with Mexico. Cotton was a staple that could be stored for long periods and shipped long distances, unlike most agricultural food production. Paradoxically, the cotton gin, a labor-saving device, helped preserve the weakening arguments for slavery, since cheap (slave) labor was needed to pick cotton. Later, the 20th century invention of the cotton-picker reduced the labor-intensive demands of cotton farming, and brought unemployment to many poor Southerners. By the late 1790s, Whitney was on the verge of bankruptcy and cotton gin litigation had left him deeply in debt
