"In Spaced we had a lot of fantasy sequences and dream sequences," Wright said. "Scott
Pilgrim felt like the dream scene that never ends. I was really just kind of hooked on the
first book and thought it would be amazing to try and do it as a film because it would be an
interesting level of reality to doing a comedy and it starts in a naturalistic place but flowers
into magical realism and insanity."
`'Michael Cera plays Scott Pilgrim, who has to fight the seven evil exboyfriends of his new
girlfriend (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). "I had sort of Jackie Chan style fights. We weren't
going to do a lot of slomo sort of Matrix style stuff. So it's going back to doing like `80s
Jackie Chan stuff and a lot of the team are from Jackie Chan's fight school. The tricky thing
with this is that unlike a superhero film, you kind of have to hide in plain sight because
nobody has masks. So there's obviously some trickery going on and some sort of stunt
doubles but Michael Cera does more than you would think as all the actors do."
The visual effects employed in the film, covered a huge
spectrum, including creating some of the film's stylised
exteriors and CG environments, comic book graphics,
visualised music, and of course, the 7 fights, ranging from
Kung Fu to skateboarding style (and everything in
between), each of which escalated in spectacular intensity
throughout the film and featured goodies such as Demon

The movie ,,Scott Pilgrim vs the world'' have won 2
Satellite Awards.

Bad Teacher Elizabeth Halsey (Cameron Diaz) is a Chicago middle school teacher at the fictional John Adams Middle School who curses at her students, consumes lots of alcohol, smokes marijuana, and only shows movies while she sleeps through class. She plans to quit teaching and marry her wealthy fiancé, but when he dumps her, she must resume her job as a teacher. She tries to win over substitute teacher Scott Delacorte (Justin Timberlake), who is also wealthy. Amy Squirrel (Lucy Punch), a dedicated teacher and colleague of Elizabeth, also pursues Scott while the school's gym teacher, Russell Gettis (Jason Segel), makes advances on Elizabeth which she rejects.[3] Elizabeth plans to get surgery to enlarge her breasts, believing she is being overlooked for women with larger chests. However, she cannot afford the $10,000 procedure. To make

earth to me. "I'm not talking about a bender," he insisted. "Just a glass of wine or two. We can hit a happy hour and be in by eight." "I don't know if I'll make it back in time." I gestured at my yoga pants and fitted workout tank. "After I time the walk to work, I'm going to hit the gym." "Walk fast, work out faster." Cary's perfectly executed arched brow made me laugh. I fully expected his million-dollar face to appear on billboards and fashion magazines all over the world one day. No matter his expression, he was a knockout. "How about tomorrow after work?" I offered as a substitute. "If I make it through the day, that'll be worth celebrating." "Deal. I'm breaking in the new kitchen for dinner." "Uh..." Cooking was one of Cary's joys, but it wasn't one of his talents. "Great." Blowing a wayward strand of hair off his face, he grinned at me. "We've got a kitchen most restaurants would kill for. There's no way to screw up a meal in there

It wasn't just physically that I'd never fit in. And if I couldn't find a niche in a school with three thousand people, what were my chances here? I didn't relate well to people my age. Maybe the truth was that I didn't relate well to people, period. Even my mother, who I was closer to than anyone else on the planet, was never in harmony with me, never on exactly the same page. Sometimes I wondered if I was seeing the same things through my eyes that the rest of the world was seeing through theirs. Maybe there was a glitch in my brain. But the cause didn't matter. All that mattered was the effect. And tomorrow would be just the beginning. I didn't sleep well that night, even after I was done crying. The constant whooshing of the rain and wind across the roof wouldn't fade into the background. I pulled the faded old quilt over my head, and later added the pillow, too. But I couldn't fall asleep until after midnight, when the rain finally settled into a

Also it is often mentioned that making a successful career in a small town is largely impossible, because of the lack of different resources and opportunities. By these it is commonly ment a uncompetitive education and few opportunities to develop extracurricular activities. In my opinion it is again a misunderstanding. I am at the moment eighteen years old and I have spent all my life in a beautiful small town called Tartu. From the early age I have been interested in photography and the world in general. Photography is a pretty expensive hobby and starting with it was quite difficult in the beginning. I had to take photographs with really poor cameras and more than once I heard how somebody was laughing over me because of my uncompetitive equipment. Still I remained selfconfident and full of determination. Time passed and I had enough money to buy a bit better camera and from this point, things started to go uphills. By
