Toitlustuskorralduse teadusartikkel

Tartu Ülikool Pärnu Kolledz Teadusartikkel ,,Application of the Concept of Multi-phase Experience to Wait Management in Restaurant Services" Pärnu 2018 Sissejuhatus: Paljudes teeninduskohtades peavad kliendid ootama teenindust. Klientide rahuloluga mängib suurt rolli teenuse kvaliteet ja ooteaeg. Pikad ooteajad võivad olla ebamugavad kliendile isegi siis, kui restoranis pakutav toit on aktsepteeritav, aga negatiivsed tunded võivad vähendada nende rahulolu söögiga. Chebat ja Filiatrault (1993) tegid uuringu, et

Shopping - pleasure or obligation

Very exciting places for shopping is marketplaces, flea market and street markets like Portobello Road Market in London. There you will find collectible and antique junk. If you find something interesting you can bargain about the price. Then you feel what is pleasure of shopping. Shopping is very annoying if you have to go to the shop when you don't want to go. Like with mother or girlfriend. They always have to try all clothes and shoes when they go to the shop or boutique. You simply wait and wait. Finally they decide to buy nothing and go to the another shop.(That is very irritating) Shopping cab be interesting or quite poring. It depends where, when you do the shopping and what kind of person you are.

Argumentative essay - time changes things

constantly changing environment. But that doesn’t make time responsible for change. For example, if you are depressed and you cry constantly and you don’t make a change, the same problem will be in your face very day. Time and Change are both constant, but their relationship is random. Over the passage of time, changes will take place, but what that change will be is not controlled by time. In conclusion, If you want things to change for the better, you can either wait to see what changes take place over the passage of time, or you can choose to change the situation yourself. Ofcourse it takes an effort and you won’t always be succesful in changing things better. But in my opinion, it is always better trying to change things yourself than sit around and wait.

Halloweeni jutt

The leaves trembled. Ben was frightened,"Who's there?" Suddenly, a zombie jumped from behind the bush! The zombie shouted, "Boo! Guess who!" Ben knew who it was and said, "John, you silly thing. You scared me! Where have you been all this time?" Laughing, John said, "Sorry I'm late, but there was a problem with my costume. Let's go trick or treating. There'll be no candy left for us if we wait any longer." "That's okay," Ben said. "Let's get started." Ben suggested they go east first. Several houses looked promising that way, and Ben remembered that the folks in one particular house gave out great candy and were fun to visit. ." Their hearts still pounding a little, Ben and John walked along the street. The first house they came to was creepy- looking. A long sidewalk lead up to a front porch

Most unforgettable childhood experience

I have quite many childhood experiences that i remember, but following is the one, what i can remember really well. I was 5 years old, just learned to ride a bike, and as most of kids at the same age, so do i wanted a new bike. One day that my mother came to brought me home from kindergarten, we went home, and i was very surprised when i saw brand new bike standing at living room. I was so excited and immediately wanted to go for a ride, but in outdoors was already dark, so I had to wait next day. At that night i couldn't sleep very well, because i was so excited and anxiously waited for morning. It was one of my best and memorablest days from my childhood.

Letter of complain - Dear Thailand Getaway representative

I am writing to you regarding my recent holiday with you and I have some problems in this regard. The holiday you advertised included snorkelling, but it turned out that you did not have the necessary equipment that I had to buy for myself. Bicycle rental was also part of the holiday package, but unfortunately there were no free bicycles to rent, which made me spend too much on transport. Also, the ride with the elephants did not go as planned, because the queue was long and I had to wait a very long time. I was also very disappointed by the beach, because the beautiful sandy beach you promised turned out to be dirty and very crowded. As this holiday not only caused me inconvenience and frustration, but also caused additional costs, I request you to compensate the costs incurred in the amount of 150 euros. I look forward to receiving your response. Yours faithfully, Mari Mets

Future Simple

We use will + infinitive To predict events, for example to say what we think will happen in the future, using the verbs think, believe etc, the expressions be sure, be afraid etc, and the adverbs probably, possibly, perhaps, certainly etc.  Flora will win on Saturday.  I don’t think the test will be very difficult.  Ask her again. Perhaps she’ll change her mind. To make an offer and a request (ask somebody to do something).  Wait, i’ll carry the bag for you.  Will you hold the dooropen for me, please? To make a decision at the moment of speaking and make a promise.  It’s cool in here. I’ll shut the window.  I’ll phone you in the evening, I promise. NOTE We can use shall instead of will with I and we. But in everyday speech, we normally use the short forms I’ll and we’ll.  I/We shall work.  I/We shall not/shan’t work.

Letter of complaint

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing this letter of complaint to complain about the service you offered to me and my family, when we stayed recently at your hotel. I already completed the Feedback Form but I would like to add some more points. Firstly, when we arrived, we were told that the bungalow we had booked was not available ad we were offered instead accommodation in rooms, which we did not want. The room service was extremely slow. On first day, I had to wait a cup of coffe for one hour. Also, there was promsed a TV in the room, but it was out of order. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with the recreational facilities either. Altough there were two tennis court, we did not get a change to play because they were booked up most of the time. In the end, our evening entertainment conisted of sitting in the bar all night as the only choice was an extremely noisy disco. Besides, the drinks in the bar are way too expensive.

Dear Sir, My name is ... I am writing this letter following my stay at your hotel, Hotel Titanic. I stayed in room 603 from September 3rd to September 10th. I am wiriting becouse of the poor level of service and overall an unpleasant experience. When I first got to the hotel, I had to wait for 15 minutes in the reception before a young woman came, and helped us book in. Throughout my stay I was served mediocre food. The bathroom wasen't cleaned properly and the room servise was pretty bad. The room servise rearly changed my bed sheets and towels. There were 6 power-cuts wich each lasted for atleast 2 minutes. Worse still, I had an extremly noisy neighbour who was entertaining his visitors until 4 AM, two nights in a row.

How can we make our cities more environmentally friendly?

How can we make our cities more environmentally friendly? If I walk along the city streets, I feel a terrible smell. That comes from cars. It makes me feel very ill. Then I just have to step on trash, because people can't wait and look for a bin. That's why our streets are so dirty. Everywhere I go, there are always some workmen building big houses. If we improved public transport or made electric cars, our streets wouldn't be so polluted. In Tallinn, for example, the air there is so polluted, that you can hardly breathe there. If the authorities put bins everywhere in the streets, our cities would be cleaner. The second thing is, that people still drop litter on the ground, even if there is a bin

Letter Of Complaint

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to complain about the poor service I received when I traveled with your Princess Lines cruise on the 10th-13th January. I went on the Carribbean cruise and I was completely dissatisfied. Firstly, your advertisement promises large deluxe cabins but they were actually quite small. I did not have room to move around in the cabin. Also the cabin was really dirty. It seemed like it had not been cleaned for a long time. I felt very uncomfortable staying there. What is more, I had to share my bathroom with other guests, which was really unpleasant and annoying. It surprised me because your advertisement said that you have private bathrooms. Furthermore, the food in the restaurant was horrible. It was cold and tasted awfully. I had to wait for two hours for the waitress to bring me my meal. It was really unpleasant and unlike the "5 star restaurant" you advertised. I am very disappointed indeed. I would like a ...

Christmas letter

Dear John, Thank you for your letter. It was very interesting to get to know more about British Christmas and the traditions related to it, but now I would like to write about how we celebrate Christmas in Estonia. Usually we start to prepare for Christmas four weeks before it, by putting out advent candles. Each week we light one, till by Christmas it's four of those. On Christmas Eve we usually go to cemetery, where we light candles and also go to church to hear Christmas service and where well known Christmas songs are sung. After that we go home, to eat traditionally sauerkraut with potatoes and blood sausage and also roast pork or brawn. Earlier we have baked and decorated gingerbreads. Then soon Santa Claus comes with a bag full of presents. We all have to read poems or sing songs to get a present. Usually by that time it is very late already and we go to sleep to rest. On next day we visit our relatives an...

Fast Food Eating fast food has became very common nowadays, because of people's life pace. People are often busy and it is easier to go to a fast food restaurant for few minutes than cook meal at home or wait for your meal at regular restaurant. A typical fast food meal consists of fries, a burger and a soft drink, which contains much calories and fat. Fast Food becomes even more and more popular. Fast food restaurants are found almost everywhere, specially in big cities and crowded places. It is very easy for people to go there. The food is often tasty and available for everyone, because of multitude of the rastaurants and low price of the food

They also get the Christmas tree, clean up their house and make or shop for presents to gift someone. During the Christmas people visit their relatives and there's a Christmas Peace all over the world that means that you have to do good things and be nice to everyone. On the Christmas Eve morning some people go to the church. On the Christmas Night they usually have dinner of pork, potatoes, some boiled cabbage and sausages. After that they go to the living room to wait for Santa Claus, chat with each other or play games. Christmas is a great event to celebrate with your friends or relatives who you haven't seen for while and have a fun evening together. And also, get gifts. Martin Rahuoja

Report about Steffani Pizza Restaurant

There is something specail about the atmosphere, because my research show that people spend there about two times more than in other eating places in Pärnu. Secondly, I have to mention that the food is quite delicious. Bad points of Steffani Pizza Restaurant The biggest problem with Steffani seems to be their workers. Actually they are in desperate need of new workers. The questionnaire shows that people will have to wait for about an hour, to get their food but if they made pizzas faster, there could be more customers, which also would mean bigger profits. Conclusion and recommendation To sum up, I have to say that everything is perfect except services. They need to hire some new workers and and in the nearest future.

Proposal

I think our school lunch breakbrake system has gone out of control. There are too many people eating at the same time and canteen workers have to rush all the time, because everyone has to have food on their table. Many people have already stopped eating in the canteen and are buying snacks, hamburgers and Ffrench fries, which has a negative effect on pupils weight and healthiness. School should be the first place for students, where to go eating. We have to wait in the line for 10 minutes and then we have only 10 minutes for eating and together with having no space while having a lunch it makes a big chaos. Even our school chefs have asked us to talk with our teachers to make it reasonable and convenient for everybody. Students and also school canteen workers feel, like they don't have a say in school affairs. As a result workers may start protesting and pupils will go eat comfort food to fill their stomachs

Bayside sports center and making recommendations for improvement. Positive aspects: Firstly, there is wide range of activities available, also there are new and modern equipment in the Bayside sports center. Secondly, the sports center is opened seven days a week. Thirdly, there are working well trained instructors and sufficient staff, which is really good. Negative aspects: There are some bad aspects too in the sports center. Firstly, there are not enough exercise machines, so you have to wait for a long time to use them. Secondly, prices are high and there are no special offers. Thirdly, the staff is not very friendly and it takes a long time to get their help. Recommendations: There should be some changes. Firstly, they should buy more exercise machines. Secondly, they should make some special offers for people. Thirdly, they have to hire employees who are friendly with other people. Fourthly, there should be a limit, how many people are allowed to be in the sports centre.

Report to the shop manager

Discounts: Firstly, one suggestion would be to make several discounts on popural products. For example, reducing the price of a popural item by about 15 percent would really pay off. Also if a customer buys two same items, he gets the third one for free. This would certainly be profitable and I am confident that more people would visit your shop. Extra shop assistants: Lastly, I think that hiring an extra two or three shop assistants would be a very good idea too. Then customers would have to wait less to pay for their items and the shop could service a lot more customers than before. Bonuses for regular customers: Secondly, I think that regular customers who have been visting your shop for years, should get different bonuses. For example an even bigger discount for many products, a gift voucher or maybe sometimes getting the contents of their shopping cart for free. I think that would give the shop more customers. Conclusion

Distance learning is a challenge

Marge Veskemaa Distance learning is a challenge To begin with, distance learning is very difficult. However, there are some positive things. I can plan my school work mostly. Some teachers gives a time when you need to be ready. This would mean that we can´t just lay down and relax all day. I think they give enough time and student should get ready with their work. When there is no time I can do my work in the morning, in afternoon or in the evening. With that I learn planning and I am more independent. I think one thing you need to have and that is motivation. For example, you sit every day at home and do nothing, motivation is very easy to go away and you do not want to do school work also. As a result, you school work suffers. I think teachers try to keep our motivation and give us a little work as possible. Distance learnin...

Sisters

" "So? The true heroes face 20!" "Alright then...ready?" "Sure!" They hugged and jumped it was too dark to see where, but they jumped. Somehow the ground felt softer to land on than the twins had thought. Then a scream broke into the night. Creasha knew this wasn't Suzan since they were still hugging, no, it was another female whom voice was very familiar. Suzan was the first one to recognize it. "Mother..."she whispered and a soundless tear crossed her cheek. Creasha told her to wait here, but sister hold to her too strongly to let go now. "Okay, come with me then, but be quiet! You're not the only one who feels like crying!" Suzan nodded and together they moved quickly forwards. Soon they reached the main entrance. The door was open, but no one seemed to be around. "What now? Shall we enter or run away?" "They got our parents...and probably Danny too..." "But Su, they didn't get us, remember?" "Then we must do them as much harm as we can, they'll catch us sooner or later!"

Men wear dark business suit and a tie, women may wear a dress or a scirt and blouse. For casual clothing there are pants for both men and women. Australians are friendly and open, but directness and punctuality is very important. They maintain good eye contact during conversations. They bring small gift of chocolate, wine or flowers if invited to someone's home, but gift giving is not very common in bussiness. They avoid littering and when approaching a queue, they go to the end and wait their turn. Australians shake hands when meeting and when leaving and some women may greet each other wit a kiss on the cheek. Opinions are respected in Australia. Australians are active listeners and if they can't catch something they will ask. They love talking about sightseeing and sports. Australians love tea and they drink afternoon tea at 4pm and evening tea at 6- 8pm. The main things to consider while going to australia are that there is very warm and they are

Essay: Christmases in Estonia

As a rule, food plays a big role in Estonia's Christmas table. Traditional Christmas meal consists of pork with sauerkraut and potatoes, white and blood sausage with cowberry jam. As a matter of fact that Estonians are fond of drinking, vodka and glogg will also be there next to the traditional food. To conclude, most of the Estonians find Christmas to be one of the greatest times of the year. We, Estonians love to say in the end of this time of year that now we have to wait for St. John's Day due to the fact that this is the second greatest holiday in Estonia.
