Corporal punishment In my opinion corporal punishment is unnecessary in our society, because nowadays students may react too fiercely. I believe with all the changes taking place in our world today, it is not realistic to think that the idea of corporal punishment would ever take hold again in schools. I think that most children would respond negatively to a change like this and that this change would only create more of a problem in the long run. It depends on the person. Once again it all boils down to evil vs. good in the world. The evil will always be around tempting us all to do the wrong thing, but if we seek after the good and noble things, we can overcome the evil forces that seek to rob us of our freedom and dignity. But when thinking of proper punishment, I, for one, think that we are too lenient. At least in our country. So should people forgive or should they decide to punish? Firstly people often do not want to forgive others and want them to feel the same pain as they did. Report The aim of this report is to compare Estonian and British students opinion on educational system. We wrote down our opinion on the 6th of september 2012 in our english class. We had 12 students who gave an opinion about the Estonian educational system. Corporal punishment is illegal in British and Estonian schools. 62% of British childrens think that it would be needful but only 31% Estonian childrens have the same opinion. Mercy killing, also known as euthanasia, refers to the practice of intentionally ending a life in order to relieve pain and suffering. This type of killing is legal in some countries, but should it be punished instead? Although, it is still a type of killing, it is for a good cause. There are people who suffer and want to rather die than to endure agonies, euthanasia is an answer for them. Thus, mercy killing is very humane and reasonable thing to do and does not deserve punishment. The negative aspect of euthanasia is that it is still a form of killing. One should not be in judge over others life, even when it is for a good cause. The fact that euthanasia could be misused is not less important. But it is against the rules at school, because it is school duty to go orderly in lessons, listen to the lessons subjects and to do my homework. Along with school rules goes offcourse listening to the teachers talk too. Students are obliged to listen to the teachers talk correctly with attention in lesson. To say something against teacher's words is verboten at school. Same way is verboten to say them badly or abuse them, because to this may follow a punishment. Under the punishment belongs at school a comment, reproof or written explanation about the behaviour. I have got comments mostly from one teacher. It was exactly my ninth manual labour teacher from my last school, who did not liked my creativity. Because of that arised us often arguments frequently they ended with comment.
