Homosexual people marching the streets of Järva-Jaani. Today, i was walking home from school, and i saw four gay couples marching the streets of Järva-Jaani. I was very annoyed because of the noise they were making and crappy music they were playing. I hope Arto Saar will do something about it, because i do not think i could stand another day having to walk past them. People of Järva-Jaani, I hope that you will help me freeze out these gay couples before there will be more of them walking the streets of my hometown. The thing is that in my opinion gay couples shouldn't be aloud to be openly ,,gay"
Unfortunately, I find that I am no longer comfortable in your establishment because of the frequent and obnoxious thumping of boom cars. I estimate that I spend more than $1,000 a year in your store, and I feel badly that my friends and I are forced to put that into a competitor's cash register. I would rather it go to you which is why I am writing. I think it's a tragedy when a group of obnoxious idiots are allowed to interfere with our daily lives and pursuits. At times, I get some of that noise near my home, and I certainly call the police when I hear offenders in my own neighborhood. My insistence at having them enforce current regulations in my area has made a difference. I am also reviewing our local noise ordinance and speaking with others who are interested in putting an end to this offensive behavior that takes away from our quality of life. When the boom box noise has been controlled in this area, I would be pleased to begin using your store again.

First and foremost, if live in the Big Apple you are exposed to the diversity of people, which gives you an oppurtunity to enrich yourself by seeing other cultures. Despite the fact that living in New York is a big financial struggle you can still have a lot of fun on budget. Furthermore, there are a lot of shops in New York which are open 24 hours a day, so everything is at your fingertips. On the other hand, there is a lot of pollution and noise in the Big Apple, but I think it's acceptable for a hudge city like New York. Besides the pollution and noise, there is a much bigger problem in the Big Apple and that problem is crime. It's becoming a dangerous place to live, but the clampdown on crime has improved the city tremendously. The agressive nature of New Yorkers is also a problem peole are pushing you out of the way on the subway or in the street. So there are both positive and negative aspects to live in the Big Apple, and if

Class essay. Music is the Universal Language. Music is everywhere around us.. it is in the wind when it blows.. birds, who are loudly screaming now. The noise of cars.. the noise of humans, expecialli their laughing makes me a little happier everytime when I hear it. There're such beautiful voices. Sometimes we just must stand quiet in center on those voices, and catch their message. Music tells us stories wich were never known. Nowadays young people hear music on MP3. They're like in their own reality. Yes it's great to feel that, but a little bit strange, because when somebody wants to ask something at the bus stop, they can't hear anything. Thats sad

Question 1 (in wiki and in terminologies) 1. SNR is a calculated value that represents the ratio of root- mean-square (rms ) signal to rms noise. 2. SINAD stands for Signal-to-noise and distortion ratio. It is a measure of the quality of a signal from a communications device, often defined as: where is the average power of the signal, noise and distortion components. SINAD is usually expressed in dB. For examples to calculate the ratio of 1 kW (one kilowatt, or 1000 watts) to 1 W in decibels, use the formula 3. ENOB is the effective number-of-bits related to SINAD and the quality of a digitized signal. The 6.02 term in the divisor converts decibels (a log10) to bits (a log2) The 1.76 term comes from quantization error in an ideal ADC 4

I hadn`t been expecting that kind of surprise at all. There was a name and an address on the other side, which I didn`t recognize. In addition, it seemed a bit weird that the envelope was on the floor, next to the table, but on second thought it could have been there by accident. So now I went upstairs, to my room and sat on the armchair. I sat there for a moment, holding the letter on my lap and looking out the window to let the curiousity grow. Than I prepared to tear it open, but some noise from downstairs interrupted me. I sat still and listened for a minute, it was quiet again. As I laid my eyes on the envelope again the same sound, only louder, interrupted me again. Now I stood up, placed the envelope on the armchair and went down the stairs to look for the source of the noise or something else to explain it. There was nothing wrong and it was perfectly silent. As I stood there looking around me the front door opened. It was my sister coming in

children and are based on popular fairy stories and folk legends. Pantomime has become big business in the UK. It can often run for six to eight weeks. Pantomime needs to have a strong story line and has to include all the important elements as the good battling against the evil where the good must come out as a winner. Shows include comic chases and situations which are known as Slapstick comedy. This comedy takes its name from a magical device that makes slapping noise and is used by characters. The most famous of those pantomime clowns was Joseph grimaldi who made his first appearance in 1800. Pantomime now had its first real star.
Dear mum, Mum, you know how much I love dogs. I can't stop thinking about dogs. I know you don't like dogs. But when you see a little puppy in our home, you will change your mind. Of course dog needs extra money, but I have some savings. I will change my pocket money for a dog. Mum, don't worry about walking dog, feeding dog or cleaning after dog. I will do all! Please mum, let's have a dog. You don't have to worry about noise what dog makes. Let's buy headphones for all family. No broken things, because we will take cultured dog, who don't scratch or break things. Dad agreed with me with having a dog. He said that I need to ask you, and that's what I am doing right now. You don't have to do almost anything, just let me have a dog. I will wait your letter as soon as possible. With love, your daughter

realised his hair was thick with dried blood. What on earth had happened? He tryed to remember previous day, if it really happened the day before... It was an usual day. After finishing prefearing to school he went out and took his bike. There were extremely quiet in that morning. It was Friday, but still... He stopped in front of the school and were still wondering that there were nobody moving around. He opened the door and stepped in. Finally, he heard some noise, but he couldn't understand the meaning. That was coming behind the corner, where Bill had just stepped. He saw a policeman lying and there were blood everywhere. He touched the man and didn't know what to do. Bill decided to run away. Cause he was incautious he fell and hit his head. After waking up and thinking a little bit he saw a sign, which said: ,,Refused to work and disturbe in field-day!" That said everything. His headache wasn't so tender too

My favorite cars are Vaz 2106, vaz 2107, 1968 Chevrolet camaro ss and Pontiac Trans am. I have one of these cars whic is a 27 years old Vaz 2106 and it still works and drives well. I like Ladas because they have rear wheel drive and are realy cheap and reliable cars and have cheap parts which are sold in almost every town in Estonia. It's easy to repair a Lada when you know something about cars. I like musclecars because they look cool and have a powerful engines what makes a nice noise. In the future I want to buy a Chevrolet camaro ss or Pontiac Trans am. I also have a favorite rally car which is the Lada VFTS. Nowadays a real Lada VFTS is a really rare car, most of the Lada VFTS you see on a rally nowadays are called Lada VFTS replica because they are self-built. I think that's all about my favorite cars.

From time to time we just lied in bed, talked about life, education, love and boys. My room is bright, simple and very comfortable. It's spacious, but not huge, on the other hand it's big enough to have a bookcase, where on shelves are neatly stacked books. We have a good library, where are collected the most interesting works like fiction, mysteries, classis and adventure literature. There are a lot of my favourite books that I have reread many times. Fifty years ago, few people could even imagine things like computers, lasers and space-scuttles. Now all these newly invented technologies are benefiting people all over the world. In a word, advanced science and technology has made man master of the globe. As is known to all, each coin has two sides. When we are enjoying the remarkable wonders which science and technology has brought us, we are suffering at the same time from a lot of troubles. For example, environmental pollution, noise, green-house effect and nuclear weapons are the things we did not need to bother about in the past. But these problems nowadays are not only making our life inconvenient, but even dangerous. In my opinion, humans are now relatively more powerful. So it is up to men to decide what we should do and what we shouldn't. It is our duty to make science and technology serve human beings better and better. In consequence,

However, tourism can pose a threat to the natural environment and so may have bad effect on a country's wildlife. Tourists cause pollution and can damage the environment. What is more big companies are ruining the environment to build new facilities. For example, they cut down the forest, destroy the natural landscape in order to build hotels, restaurants for their business. Finally unfortunately some tourists do not always respect traditional cultures, they vandalize, make noise or throw rubbish. In conclusion taking everything into consideration I think tourism is very important and we must be careful not to ruin the place that attract tourists.

Advantages and disadvantages of living in a big city Living in a big city has allways had its good and bad sides. While living in a big city means that there are lots of noise and less fresh air, it is full of entertainment nearby. Firstly, living in a big city means that there are much more shops, cinemas, theatres and nightclubs. People have as much entertainment as they need or want. At the day you can go shoping and at the night the city never sleeps, people can go to the nightclubs to have fun all night long. Furthermore, living in a big city means that people have a better possibility to travel all around the world
That's because wind power is so necessary. Wind power is also renewable energy and it doesn't cause greenhouse gases. Building windmills is actually quite expensive and they need repairing or replacing about every 12-15 years. And strong winds can also break the wind turbines. Considering these things the wind power cost more than the energy from fossil fuels. Also the turbines are unpleasant to look at and if you live near the wind farms then they make a bit noise. Wind farms take a lot of space which you can use for farming. And when the wind doesn't blow then the turbines can't make energy. About 26% on world energy is made by wind power. Wind power is used many years in counties like Holland and Denmark where wind makes most of their energy.
To: local authorities From: a member of the Nature Club Subject: environmental situation at Poku Date: 19 November 2010 Introduction As a member of the Nature Club I have decided to write a report on the environmental situation at Poku and make recommendations based on the opinion poll carried out at Poku. The results of the opinion poll are presented below. Pollution General situation at Poku is satisfactory as the level of water and noise pollution is rather low as there are no big industrial enterprises in the vicinity. Problematic areas are air and litter pollution as many tourists visit the place leaving behind exhaust gases and rubbish on the ground. Wildlife In the forests near Poku there is comparatively rich in wildlife. The only problem seems to be cutting trees which may leave the local animals without their usual habitat. Recycling Recycling of paper and glass is very well organised in the area of Poku
Clothing stores would also be very useful as there are not many around this town. Lastly, we would propose electronics and free time stores and sporting goods stores for people to purchase various goods that suit their hobbies. Our objections to the center Our only objections to the shopping center are that since malls take away a lot of space, it will ruin the beautiful scenery outside the city. Also, more cars would be constantly driving down the road which would then increase the noise pollution. Conclusion Overall, the residents' committee agrees that the shopping center being built is a good idea and will help this town greatly in terms of giving people a bigger freedom of choice in where to shop.
Living in the countryside a pleasant experience or a never-ending hardship? It is a dream of many people to live in the countryside. It is so relaxing and freshening. Living in the countryside is definitely good for you. But it can also be very hard. So what are the pros and cons of living in the countryside. Living in the countryside is good for your health, because the air is less polluted than in the city. Also you are away from all the noise that cars make on the streets. In the countryside you can relax and enjoy the sound of nature. In the countryside you can do what you want, because the neighbours are far away. Also you lots of garden room and a lot more privacy than in the city. On the other hand living in the countryside can be hard. You have to do most of the chores by yourself. Secondly schools and stores are far. Driving back and forward every day may drive you crazy
Different lectures started after the sixth lesson. There were more lectures, but unfortunately I couldn't attend them all. The themes of lectures were very interesting. Firstly, the lecture that was carried out by our local general practitioner. She talked about health in general and about the right diet. They showed us how to measure blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol. For me it was hard to focus on the lecture, because all the activities caused a lot of noise and it was hard to listen to the doctor. In my opinion the lecture was very instructive and educational. Secondly, the lecture that was carried out by Tallinn Genetic Engineering Institute's director. The subject of the lecture was very difficult. He discussed genetics in general, the history of DNA and genetic engineering's development. Genetics is a science of heredity. It's a very important part of medicine. In my opinion the lecture was difficult, but very exciting.

Living in the countryside -- a pleasant experience or a never-ending hardship Each person have their own opinion about living in the countryside. Nowadays preffered a lots of comfort by choosing a life in the city. So life in the countryside seems a little bit boring or compliacted. What are the pluses and minuses of living in a country? What i would prefer and why? I think that life in the country is most interesting in summer, because you can peacefully enjoy the nature in your own garden. In the city it is impossible. In the country you almost never can't be in a situation, that there is nothing to do. You will always find new activities, because you need to take care of the yard, irrigate glasshouses and flowers, dig and etcetera. These activities are not minuses at all, but just keep you rather in action, that you don't get too comfortable, so it is good for you too. Over the years it can...

REPORT To: local authorities From: a member of the Nature Club Subject: environmental situation at Poku Date: 22 February 2012 As a member on the Nature Club I have decided to write a report describing the environmental situation and make some recommendations based of the opinion poll. The situation at Poku is satisfying. Water and noise pollution is low because there are no cities around here. Wildlife is good and getting better because we have beautiful forests near Poku which gives good living and development places for wild animals. Paper and glass recycling is well organized. We have paper and glass containers and workers are cleaning them daily basis. Due to the fact that overall life in Poku is good we still have some problematic things to consider. Nowadays government has started to cut trees near Poku
They can gather and send information. Standby lighting can switch on when somebody walks by. There can be specific lighting to cross the street safely. Smart cities can also help you finding a parking spot. Life can be easier using different sensors. Waste collection companies can watch online how full containers are. Weather sensors can manage automatic watering systems and detect leaks. Other sensors can provide updates on air pollution, noise and river level. There is no need to read water or electricity meters anymore. Everything will be available in real time. This solution can also save resources. Smart cities make life safer. If there is an accident, an alert goes out immediately. Thanks to remote monitoring you can follow an instant update on the situation. Drivers can receive warnings on their GPS. Traffic lights can adjust to regulate traffic flows and prevent traffic jams.
He wandered pointlessly many hours thinking of his friend whom was taken away by some mysterios beast. "Maybe the Devil really exists?" he whispered anxiously to the trees, but they didn`t give him an answer, they only swayed in the chilly wind. Finally there was light ahead, so the rider thanked the Queen and hurried towards an unexpected destination. He hoped it to be a village or even better a small city. But all his dreams broke when he suddenly heard this loud wild noise again. This time he didn`t run off, but still, he tried to stay in the bushes near the shadows of the trees. Carefully, like a small child discovering the world he moved towards the light. And what he saw took his breath away: there was a village, but it was all burning and the people were sleeping an eternal sleep everywhere he looked. Some of them were seriosly injured, but alive. So he dared to sneek closer and take a better look.
