Estonian teen How do you spend your free time? I'm pretty busy. Every day, I have music school, choir, or basketball training. I have been going to music school for seven years, and I'm going to graduate this spring. I have been going to basketball training for two years. I unfortunately can't go there very often because of music studies. When I'm home, I usually spend my free time on the computer or playing the guitar. What do you like / dislike about living in Võru? I can't tell anything which I particularly do not like. This year I don't like that the school has been moved to another building, which doubles the distance between my home and school. I like that Võru is such a small and quiet town, which makes it nice and secure to live in. Do you get any pocket money? I don't get any certain amount of pocket money. I wanted to give you some advice. Last year I took my exams so I believe I could help you. First off I strongly recommend you to have a good night sleep the night before your exam. Study everything you might need but try not to overdo the studying. After all the exam is to test whether you have learned anything during the years you have spent in school. The Pärnu International Documentary and Anthropology Film Festival, founded in 1987, is the oldest film festival in Estonia. The initiator of the festival was writer and former president of the Republic of Estonia Lennart Meri. Since its first appearance, the festival has built an efficient bridge between cultural anthropologists and film makers from the East and the West. The festival is held during the first full week of every July. An international jury awards the grand prize for the best film; awards are also given to the best film about the survival of indigenous peoples and the best scientific research. Two separate competitions take place for documentary films made by children and created for them. The seven best films are aired by Estonian TV during the festival. People like to travel during their summer holidays. Some people go abroad to see new countries, some people prefer to go to the country- side to enjoy country-life far from noise and fuss of big cities. Other people like staying at home doing nothing, but watching TV and playing computer games. Some people like to spend their holidays in cities, visiting theatres, museums and going sightseeing. But a great number of people go to the seaside. As for me, I prefer to go on holiday to the seaside. I do not like crowds. My family and I always have our holiday on the coast.
