Tartu Hanseatic Days Tartu Hanseatic Days are celebrated every year from 17th to 19th July. For three days the Old Town of Tartu is filled with Hanseatic merchants and different workshops. We will arrive on 6'th September and leave on 16'th September . We are going to use a bus as a transport and will arrive to the hotel approximately 12 at noon. We have total of 16 students in our group - 10 boys and 6 girls plus another teacher besides me. We would like to have 5 rooms if possible and there is also a girl in the wheelchair in our group. On the other hand, our parents behavior will have an influence on us, especially in our younger years. The way we are brought up and how our parents communicate with us is directly correlated to our development and later life. While it can be argued that friends will have the strongest influence on each other, one must not forget that we first befriend our family and later on find friends outside of the family circle.
Hi, my name is Elsa Clay and I studied at an all-girls Catholic high school .And here are some answers to the questions about my school. First, yes, we wear uniforms what consist of button-down blue or white blouses or polo shirts and a pleated blue and green plaid skirt. At our school we do not wear a miniskirt teamed with thigh-high socks, pink lipstick and a bare midriff. But we do have casual days when we can dress down at least once a month. Sometimes some of us are barley recognizable without uniform. Second, no boys in our school, and it's a relief not having to deal with the distractions during class time. There are two all-boys school in neighborhood and they hold open dances that are great for checking out prospective prom dates. Third, girls sports are extremely popular in our school. School uniform makes life cheaper and easier you do not have to waste time in the morning thinking of what to wear. Also you do not have to buy a whole new wardrobe for every school semester and I think that a school uniform prepares you for adulthood because often many important jobs have a dress code, which you have to follow. However, for every plus there is a minus. Although many students might like a school uniform, many are against it and the reality is that lots of students refuse to wear it because it may be the bad material and it might be allergic to some students. Also I think that students cannot express themselves as they want to and really think that it would be better for all if you would have a choice of school uniform, what I mean that you can choose from 4-5 clothes.
