Nowadays many students decide to continue to higher education which means going to university after high school, in order to improve their prospects in further life. It is my considered opinion that higher education is necessary for a number of reasons. To begin with, people who lack educational degrees are more likely to be limited to basic jobs in service and manufacturing industries since today's job market is competitive and employers may not be interested in hiring candidates who do not have a degree. While employees with higher education have a better opportunity to get jobs with a lot of benefits and greater salaries. What is more, a lot of university courses include practical parts and work experience. Having a previous job experience in the field they have chosen, before they actually enter to the job market, is a huge advantage. Moreover, the more connections students collect during their internships, the more options they w...
It can also provide to solve problems like terrorism, rehabilitation and many other problems. However, receiving countries could misuse international aid. Money could use to fund illegal activities and the strengthening of armed forces. International aid should be used very wisely and judiciously, only then can we eliminate poverty and hunger and other problems in the world. Students tend to drop out because their expectations of college--academically, socially, or both--don't match up with the reality once they get there. They also suffer from lack of motivation, inadequate preparation, and poor study skills. Students who are well prepared for college coursework are more likely to stay in school. Academic help alone is not enough to keep many students in school. Students also need individual support to feel connected to the campus community. When a student drops out of college, everyone loses--the student, the

Dear Sir/Madam, I read with great regret that you want to reduce the funding for English college Film Club. I would like propose the ideas to enhance the Film Club to not to lose the funding. I will try to change your mind by bringing out folowing reasons. Firstly, Film Club evenings take plave on Fridays 6-10 pm. Usually films are in English and quiz evenings about films are always very popular. Students like to relax and communicate with each other, it is also popular because watching films is not too physically demanding.
Film review "Scent of a Woman" 1992 by Martin Brest Scent of a Woman is the story of Frank Slade, a blind, retired army colonel who hires Charlie Simms, a poor college student on the verge of expulsion, to take care of him over Thanksgiving weekend. At the beginning of the weekend, Frank takes Charlie to New York, where he reveals to the student that he intends to visit his family, have a few terrific meals, sleep with a beautiful woman and, finally, commit suicide. Limit stops at fast food restaurants, and when you do go, bypass the French fries and other fried treats. Order salads, sandwiches that don't contained fried or greasy meat, and baked potatoes. Select pizza healthy pizza toppings, such as olives, mushrooms and green peppers. If you must have meat, opt for Canadian bacon, which is much lower in fat than pepperoni. Limit fats to the healthier choices, such as olive oil and nuts. for decades, vending machines have been the bane of many college students. Dear Sir, The report describes the problem of student transport. In order to prepare this report we interviewed students from all parts of college. According to students we spoke to, the car park is used by a lot of visitors and year by year more students have more cars. Not surprisingly, the car park becomes full and there are not enough possibilities to leave car. The second problem is that the buses often run late and are always full. The majority of students cannot afford the taxi fare from home to college. Some of them are unwilling to go on foot, because they are living far from college.
For example, I used to be under the pressure and study almost everyday, while my stress raised and raised. In my opinion, the solution to this problem is to reduce the amount of tasks. To sum up, there are many sources of stress in young people's lives, which affect theirs ability to be positive. But it is important to bear in mind that there are also solutions to avoid stress. The Future of Education The future of education is not very promising for younger generations. The face of education is changing rapidly because of direct injection of computer technology into schools. Online courses soon will prevail over the traditional high school and college education. Online Universities will create classes sponsored by companies. These companies will direct the universities on the materials of the course. The company will then offer those who pass the course a job. This will create a worker who will not be able to do his job without a computer. Teachers will take a backseat in these courses. There is also a chance that Teachers will have an easier job in the future, they will instruct the students only if needed.

grade) for the youngest children in elementary school, up to twelfth grade, the final year of high school. The exact age range of students in these grade levels varies slightly from area to area. This dividing and children grading is similar like in Estonia. Although in the States they use vocabulary grading (A,B,C,D,E,F), then in Estonia we use numeral grading (5,4,3,2,1). Post-secondary education, better known as "college" in the United States, is generally governed separately from the elementary and high school system. An American college is an institution of higher learning which lasts over a four year period and which grants/gives Bachelor's degree at the conclusion of studies. The students may gain a Master's degree within a year or two of further study. After another year or two of study and research they may gain a still higher degree of study and research as Doctor of Philosophy.
failure Secondary school After completing the fifth grade the last year of primary school, American children start secondary school. Secondary school usually consists of seven years, from the sixth grade up to twelfth grade. The ninth through twelfth grades are most commonly known as high school. After completing the twelfth grade, American students are given a certificate called the high school diploma. That is why most students take the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) which is a national college entrance examination. The results will assure whether a person will attend a univercity or college and it is up to universities to decide which students to accept. Foreign students who would like to attend an American college or university must have completed coursework that is equivalent to what is taught in an American high school. Foreign students who would like to attend an American high school, need to consider how the high school they select will give them access to the best colleges.

Kutcher's home life worsened as his parents divorced when he was sixteen. During his senior year, he broke into his high school at midnight with his cousin in an attempt to steal money; he was arrested leaving the scene. Kutcher was convicted of third-degree burglary and sentenced to three years' probation and 180 hours of community service. Kutcher stated that although the experience "straightened him out", he lost his girlfriend and anticipated college scholarships, and he was ostracized at school and in his community. Kutcher enrolled at the University of Iowa in August 1996, where his planned major was biochemical engineering. To earn money for his tuition, Kutcher worked as a college summer hire in the cereal department for the General Mills plant in Cedar Rapids, and sometimes donated blood for money. After placing first, he dropped out of college and won a trip to New

Kaisa Kamenik In Mike Nichols 1967 cult film „The Graduate“, Dustin Hoffman character Benjamin Braddock, who has just graduated from college, is facing basically same questions as posed in the title of this essay. Everyone is asking what is he going to do with his life now, but he is very uncomfortable aswering them and at that point he doesn’t care as well. Being a third year history student in University of Tartu, I am wondering over the same questions and find myself often thinking what is expected of me after graduating and how has university played a role in my development for almost three years now.

During my years being a student, I have noticed that there have been some changes in the Estonian educational system. Some of them are useful, some are not. Yet I think there are still many things that could use a change. I think, that one good change has been made related to the national exams, they have been improved a lot. This has assured an ongoing high level of education in Estonia. Our colleges' curriculums have also certified our college students' competitivity worldwide. I would like to bring out the education getting more and more creative as a positive change. I have noticed the use of active teaching methods and personal approach to the students. If I would be the Minister of Education, I would make the first change in turning the educational system to be more student-centered. I find, that not only those students need personal

You have to make the right decisions in real time and have the ability to visualize as quickly as possible. It depends on the country and area, but usually each year aviation schools enroll only about 10 to 20 air traffic controllers. In Estonia, to get a free spot in college, you must make the top eight. There are also some places for scholarships. Each year hundreds of students want to do as well as possible on their exams, because the competition is very high and fierce to get a place in these schools. It makes people to try harder and be more conscientious with things they try to accomplish. Since I already know what I want to do in the future, I have had time to think about things and prepare for this. I have taken college-level math,

Holiday time My holiday began from a class trip to Tartu. There we visited the Estonian National Defence College. Afterwards, I took a bus ride to Tallinn, where I spent the rest of my holiday. Due to my brother moving house, I had to help him out with that. The majority of the work involved stacking firewood from one shed to another, whilst sorting it out to dried and raw. During free time, we went shopping into different shopping centres. I left Tallinn on Saturday, so I would have a day to prepare for school.

I am very thankful for my parents, who are teach me and always helped if they could. Thanks for them I am who are I am. They know that they can be very proud of me
