fanatics who may use terrorism against us. Although the term is not officially used by the administration of US President Barack Obama, it is still commonly used by politicians, in the media and officially by some aspects of government, such as the Army's Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. In the meantime, the "war on terror" has gravely damaged the United States internationally. For Muslims, the similarity between the rough treatment of Iraqi civilians by the U.S. military and of the Palestinians by the Israelis has prompted a widespread sense of hostility toward the United States in general. It's not the "war on terror" that angers Muslims watching the news on television, it's the victimization of Arab civilians. And the resentment is not limited to Muslims. Summary In this summary I will analyse three articles on the topic of whether it is justified and morally right to use drone warfare in the tribal areas of Pakistan and in Gaza. To begin, we do not know if the drones have done more harm or good in the tribal areas of Pakistan. Most of the information about drone attacks is coming from dubious Pakistan media, which we cannot seriously rely on. Hence, we cannot be sure if the persons killed by drones were innocent civilians or extremists. (Fair, 2013) One the one hand, using drones can be more discriminate, because they hover over the enemy for hours and wait for the perfect moment to attack, when there are no innocent people who might get injured. (Beautmont, 2012) On the other hand, it means that after watching and killing their targets, they continue hovering over villages, which affects people’s psychology. (Owen, 2013)
Some people are too lazy to throw the trash into the litter bin. They think that it is easier to dump it without realizing that it could be dangerous for the environment. As a solution, the government can increase regulations on the disposal of hazardous waste. It can create modern landfills that are using modern technologies. Those landfills could break down chemical compounds into less dangerous forms. Civilians can choose not to buy those products which require the production of hazardous waste. They can choose products with biodegradable packages. They can organize collective actions for cleaning the waste from the nature. Hazardous waste is a big problem to humans and nature. We have to pay more attention to this problem, because waste poisons the earth and consequently our food too.

the waist when meeting. Frequently, gender is a factor in how respect I displayed in bodily behavior. For example, woman in many Western cultures traditionally curtsy, whereas men bow. As a sign of respect in almost any form of the military is a salute. A salute is used by enlistees to show respect to the position held by officers and by officers to those of higher rank. The 21-gun salute is done within the military for funerals of military members and for high-ranking civilians such as the President. Sometimes the word respect can mean also toleration and tolerance. It means that we accept people who- and like they are. Does not matter what skin color you have, do you love men or women or are you religious or not. No one in earth is the same as I am and I am not the same like they are. I have the right to be different and like other people should accept it, I should accept and respect them. To respect other people means some how to make compromises
shot him in the wrist. Mrs Kelly was sent to prison for 3 years. · Fearing the police wouldn't believe their account of the events, Kelly went into hiding at Stringybark Creek with his brother Dan. A shoot-out began between the brothers and police and as a result three policemen were killed. · A month after the shootings the Kelly gang committed major robberies of National Bank branches at Euroa and Jerilderie. They held police and civilians hostage while stealing all money from the bank's vault. At the Jerilderie robbery Kelly wrote the famous letter telling his side of the story including the ill treatment of his family and the Irish Catholics by police. · Ned escaped through the police ranks but whilst trying to rescue his brother Dan and friends he was shot several times in the arms, legs, feet and hands. This spectacle was watched by over 600 spectators. ·
only blame themselves. You see, unlike many other nations, the UK has no single core constitutional document. In this sense, it is said not to have a written constitution, but much of the British constitution is embodied in written documents, within statues, court judgments and treaties. So in my opinion that's a stupid system. Because if you watch other countries how much do they pay for compensation claims then it's nothing. Though in other countries there are huge sums what civilians get from companies. A former female police officer was awarded an estimated £1,000,000 in a package, after complaining of bullying and sexual and racial harassment. For instance I think it's absolutely ridiculous to get a million for that. I think many people have suffered much more and would deserve much more. But that all concludes in people's ego. It's the side that people get greedy. At that moment lawyers step into play. They have helped create a world in which
serve eight years at a local penitentiary for the killings of 6 people, I just cannot agree with it. I sternly believe that punishments should be a lot more harsh so that a common man would fear the barred windows and the people serving their sentence there. The killing of another human being is an unforgivable and horrible crime and it should be taken as a principal offense. I see capital punishment being the best way to deal with it, as it warns other civilians to fear and avoid the criminal path. In conclusion, there are multiple reasons why people misbehave and commit crimes. It may be an outcome of social differences, an act of passion or even peer pressure. We are mesmerized by the darkness in the balance between good and evil. Good and evil is simply picture thinking about the scope of human nature and for some, crime pays, until caught.
5. Economic recession 6. Poverty 7. Riots 2) Racism is a common problem in many countries and in Englad it is present because there are many immigrants from all over the world. As it is a widespread social problem it's also one of the worst ones, because the hatred directed to different races or even nationalities makes the foreign people feel bad and also to hate the locals. This brings up many conflicts like the bombings in 2005 (when 4 islamic suicide bombers killed thmeselves and 52 civilians), but usually the conflicts are smaller, like brawls between different ethnic groups or mockery and insults. 3)In 1999 was the biggest racism related crime in the last 3 decades, when a Neo-Nazi David Copeland placed homemade nailbombs at public places directed to african and bangladeshian communities and killing 13 and injuring 139 people.,. Petty crimes are commited everywhere nowadays and include various traffic violations, drunkenness in public, disturbing the

S., British and other forces expected. Iraqi forces achieved some temporary successes and created unexpected challenges for the invading forces, especially for the U.S. military. On April 9 the capital of Iraq, Baghdad, fell, ending president Hussein's 24-year rule. U.S. forces seized the deserted Ba'ath Party ministries and pulled down a huge iron statue of Hussein. In the invasion phase of the war (March 19-April 30), 9,200 Iraqi combatants were killed along with 7,299 civilians, primarily by U.S. air and ground forces. Coalition forces reported the death in combat of 139 U.S. military personnel and 33 U.K. military personnel. Post-invasion phase On May 1, 2003, President Bush declared victory due to the defeat of Iraq's conventional forces. After President Bush's speech, coalition forces noticed a gradually increasing number of attacks on its troops in many regions. The Iraqi insurgents were supplied by hundreds of weapons caches, created before the invasion
consequentialism / utilitarianism been labelled justifiable to use torture techniques in combating terrorism and will present the reasons for why this controversial behaviour that democratic governments have been proven to conduct and still are being accused of until the current day is irrational and dangerous. Theoretical justification of torture The utilitarian view that a political leader should allow torture to rescue civilians’ lives is justified by that this would result in maximum happiness for the greatest number of people. It is said that in case of a moral dilemma there is never the possibility of 2 complete justification. Torture is illegal but if human lives can be saved, it is worth it. This disregards the act itself and only looks at the result (Driver, 2014).
humanity; his only feelings of love and loyalty are those that he shares with his friends and fellow soldiers. As a result, Paul tries to see them in the best possible light. He thinks about Müller's attempt to persuade the dying Kemmerich to give him his boots and tries to convince himself that Müller was being reasonable rather than inconsiderate. During training, Paul and his classmates were taught that patriotism requires suppressing individuality and personality, a sacrifice that civilians do not require of even the lowest class of servants. Corporal Himmelstoss, formerly a postman, trained Paul's platoon. He was a small, petty man who relentlessly humiliated his recruits, especially Paul, Tjaden, Haie, and Kropp. Eventually, Paul and the others learned to stand up to Himmelstoss's authority without outright defiance. Paul and his friends detested Himmelstoss, but now Paul knows that the humiliation and the arbitrary discipline toughened them and probably helped them to survive
Rather than give up Mrs. Simpson, Edward chose to abdicate, making him the only monarch of Britain to have voluntarily relinquished the throne. After the World War II they moved to France. *World War II 1939-1945 was a global military conflict which involved a majority of the world's nations organized into two opposing military alliances: the Allies (UK, USA and the Soviet Union) and the Axis (Germany, Italy and Japan). Over 70 million people, the majority of them civilians, were killed, making it the deadliest conflict in human history. The starting date of the war is generally held to be September 1939 with the German invasion of Poland and declarations of war on Germany by the United Kingdom, France and the British Dominions. The Allies won the war, but suffered great loss. The United Nations was formed in the hope of preventing another such conflict. *The 'phoney war' It is the name given to the period of time in World War Two when,
operated by machines. As a result, millions of people lost their jobs because of the robots. He was aware of the mass society, mass production and he did not like it. He makes fun of the idea. The most important event of his life was the bombing of dresden. Vonnegut, being an American, feels responsible for that-there was no reason to bomb dresden at all. He feels that americans and he as well have to atone for this horrible slaughter of the civilians. The world of his novels is mostly hostile and ridiculous and very often absurd. Black humour became very popular in the 1960's. Black humourists believe that we live in a meaningless world, neither god or man, neither philosophy nor religion can make sense of the human condition. Where man comes from, where he goes to remains uncertain. Man wants to find reason, explanation, but cant. There isn't any order or purpose to the universe. Instead man sees that
indications of a strong southward thrust had meant the presence of the carriers in Empire waters. But what happened in February and July was not necessarily what would happen in December. During the summer and fall of 1941, the pressure of events molded America's two cryptanalytic agencies closer and closer to the form they were to have on December 7. The Signal Intelligence Service, which had 181 officers, enlisted men, and civilians in Washington and 150 at intercept stations in the field on Pearl Harbor Day, had been headed since March by Lieutenant Colonel Rex W. Minckler, a career Signal Corps officer. Friedman served as his chief technical assistant. S.I.S. comprised the Signal Intelligence School, which trained Regular Army and Reserve officers in cryptology, the 2nd Signal Service Company, which staffed the intercept posts, and four Washington sections of the S.I.S
