also part of the Alps. The most famous land mark of Australia is the Uluru. It's a large sandstone rock formation in the southern part of the Northern Territory. It lies 335 km south west of the nearest large town, Alice Springs; 450 km by road. Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and Uluru are the two major features of the Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park. Uluru is sacred to the Aboriginal people of the area. It has many rock caves and ancient paintings. Water bodies: Australia is a very dry continent. There are very few rivers and no big lakes in Australia. Most of the lakes of Australia have water in them only after rain. The biggest lake of Australia is Lake Eyre and it is also the lowest point in Australia, at approximately 15 metres below the sea level. The lake is located in the deserts of central Australia. Even in dry season there is usually some water remaining in Lake Eyre. Australian temporary rivers are called creeks
in dying is one of them. The issue is too sensitive to come to a smple conclusion. The basic question is : should a person who is terminally ill and who feels that their life is not worth living, who is repeatedly asking for euthanasia and who is of sound mind be given assistance in dying so that they could do it in a dignified manner rather than have their lives prolonged by medical technology? Ultimately, it's a question of choice: empowering people to have control over their own bodies. The main opposition comes from religious groups, medical associations whose members see practising euthanasia as an inproper exctension of their role as carers. Throughout centuries the doctors' purpose in life has been to cure suffering, how can they be expected to do otherwise, even if it's done for a good cause. The issue has been misinterpreted by some people. They seem to be of the opinion that
history, peaking in Europe between 1347 and 1350. The speed with which the disease could kill was terrifying to population of the medieval world. Infected people can spread the disease through the air by coughing, sneezing, or just breathing! When there was a infected in the house, a red cross was painted on the door. Because of black spots, the disease was called the black death. Nowadays we know it is bubonic plague The dead bodies were loaded on the hearse and buried in common graves. The Black death spread from rats and fleas to people. Symptoms The infected usually had: strong cramping stomach pains boils on their bodies their bodies were covered by black spots they died in 2-7 days The Italian writer Boccaccio said its victims often "ate lunch with their friends and dinner with their ancestors in paradise.“ http://www.miksike.ee/documents/main/
1. Ernst Julius Öpik was born in Oct. 23 1893 in Kunda, Estonia. He was a noted Estonian astronomer and astrophysicst. He went to University of Moscow to specialize in the study of minor bodies, such as asteroids, comets, andmeteors. He completed his doctorate at the University of Tartu. 2. After 4 years at Moscow Observatory he became Director of the Astronomy Department. From 1921-1944 he was an Associate Professor at Tartu University, and from 1930-34 visiting scientist at Harvard University. 3. Öpik was one of the most outstanding astrophysicists of his generation, with wide- ranging interests in the physical sciences. Among his many pioneering discoveries
„The Host“ The book was written by Stephenie Meyer. The book is about Earth, in a post apocalyptic time, being invaded by a parasitic alien race, known as "Souls", and follows one Soul's predicament when the consciousness of her human host refuses to co-operate with the takeover of her body. It describes what happens when Earth has been overrun by an alien species called Souls, which invade human bodies and erase personalities. There are one film based on the book. The main characters are Wanderer or 'Wanda' for a nickname, Melanie Stryder, Ian O'Shea, Jared Howe, Jamie Stryder, Uncle Jeb, The Seeker, Kyle O'Shea and Doc. In the first chapter Wanda goes in Melanie’s body and are described what she feels and thinks. In the beginning Wanda doesn’t listen Melanie and tries to ignore her. And Melanie really hated Wanda for "stealing" her body and ruining her life

These principles are reflected in having equal access to power and in being equal before the law. It must be considered not only whether law making powers are granted to elected persons, but also whether the balance of power between institutions within the European Union promotes the ideals of democracy. Firstly, the democratic nature of the European Union must be measured by the extent to which its institutions (particularly those with executive and legislative power) are elected bodies of persons. The European Union is governed by seven institutions; the European Parliament, the European Council, the Council of the European Union (the Council), the European Commission, the Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Central Bank and the Court of Auditors. The first four of these hold the executive and legislative power of the European Union. Of these four institutions, the only one directly elected is the European
HEALTHY MIND IN A HEALTHY BODY Taking care of your body is becoming more popular nowadays. Many companies are starting to make healthy and organic food products and you can even hire a personal trainer to get in shape. It’s very important that people move their bodies because human body is structured for moving. Before the cars and public transport people had to walk everywhere. That’s why overweight wasn’t a problem back then. Their foodtable was more various because they ate everything what was edible and available in nature. Nowadays it’s very popular that people eat junkfood and different products that are full of chemicals, sugars and fat. And if they don’t move it’s easy to get overweighted.
Water pollution and society This essay is about fresh water and pollution. It's based on an article by David Krantz and Brad Kifferstein. I read it through and now I'm trying to give the conclusion of the article as well as express my own opinion. 70 percent of planet Earth's surface contain water. Water is the beginning of life and vital natural resource. It's vital for every living organism. That's why we have to keep the water bodies clean and stop polluting our fresh water. It's hard to believe, but planet Earth is in great danger. People can't see the whole picture. They are being indifferent to the future. Everyone thinks about themselves and tries to find a better and easier way to get rid of garbage and waste. Money is everything for them. Money talks and nobody cares about giving a dollar to save the nature. Usually a person thinks that what difference can he make. But if everybody think so,
Report. This report describes the ratios regarding to the Estonian and Russian youth living in Tallinn doing sports, learning languages, dancing and singing folk music. The first hobby I am going to compare is sport. 21.0% of Estonian youngsters said that their favorite hobby is sport and 31.5% of Russian young people said that it is their favorite hobby too. So we can say that Russians are more active than Estonians. We can also say that Russian youngsters take more care about their bodies and health than Estonians. The second hobby I questioned them about was dancing. Dancing can actually be considered as a sport too, so it is also good for the human body. 10.7% of Estonians told me that they love dancing and that they go to dance classes regularly. 19.1% of the Russians said that dancing is a part of their lives. So I can say it again: the young Estonians do not have as active lifestyle as Russians do. The third hobby I am going to compare is learning languages

Dog Communication Kristjan Olt Dog communication comes in a variety of forms, and is part of the foundation of dog social behaviour. Dogs use certain movements of their bodies and body parts and different vocalizations to express their emotions. One gesture may mean many different things. For example a tail wag may mean: Excitement Playfulness Happiness Anxiety Greeting ritual When one dog meets another dog, they usually walk around each other, sniff each other or even bark if they don't like something Body movements Tail position usually shows dog's mood. Ear position shows dogs level of attention
I chosed the topic because i think that it is importent to talk about it. Did you ever stop and think about how often we are told to change our appearance? Magazines constantly offer tips about how to lose weight “in days,” appear slimmer “instantly,” and hide our “imperfections”… without actually knowing anything about us, much less our appearance. This is one example of body-shaming, and it is everywhere. It has become the norm to criticize aspects of our bodies as some type of bonding experience with friends – if we all hate our bodies; it somehow makes us feel connected and united. Body-shaming can lead to a vicious cycle of judgment and criticism. Messages from the media and from each other often imply that we should want to change, that we should care about looking slimmer, smaller, and tanner. And if we don’t, we worry that we are at risk of being the target of someone else’s body-shaming comments.
of behaviors often fueled by unresolved emotional conflicts symptomized by altered food consumption. The most common types of eating disorders are anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. Why do some people start with such harmful nutritional habits? Firstly, one reason for this could be media. Advertisers heavily market weight-reduction programs and present anorexic young models as the paradigm of sexual desirability. Also, clothes are designed and displayed for thin bodies in spite of the fact that few women could wear them successfully. Another thing to mention is genetic factors. According to studies, anorexia is eight times more common in people who have relatives with the disorder. This disease will become apparent after some kind of psychological shock. Finally, even their families can give negative influence. Although, almost every parent knows how important right nutrition is, there are also some people who behave differently

Amelia Earhart possibly the most famous female pilot ever. She was born in 1897 in Kansas, USA. She had a difficult childhood. Her parents moved alot and she often missed school. After graduating high school she decided to study nursing. During the First World War, she worked as a military nurse in Canada. When the war ended, she became a social worker. Amelia also enjoyed going to air shows, where she took a ten-minute plane ride, and from that moment on she knew she had to learn to fly. She took several odd jobs to pay for the flying lessons. in the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest in New Hampshire. Effects of Acid Rain Today there are several important impacts of acid deposition on both natural and man-made environments. Aquatic settings are the most clearly impacted by acid deposition though because acidic precipitation falls directly into them. Both dry and wet deposition also runs off of forests, fields, and roads and flows into lakes, rivers, and streams. As this acidic liquid flows into larger bodies of water, it is diluted but over time, acids can accrue and lower the overall pH of the body. Acid deposition also causes clay soils to release aluminum and magnesium further lowering the pH in some areas. If the pH of a lake drops below 4.8, its plants and animals risk death and it is estimated that around 50,000 lakes in the United States and Canada have a pH below normal (about 5.3 for water). Several hundred of these have a pH too low to support any aquatic life.

It is designed to for busy people who do not have time to cook. But how many people are aware of the advantages and disadvantages of fast food? To start with, the most important thing to know is that fast food is not healthy. It is full of saturated fats and other chemicals, which are not useful to us. People should start to work less and cook more. That guarantees they will be healthier, more active and less sleepy. Fast food is not always harmful. Our bodies need a balanced diet we need some fats, sugars and salt what are in fast food. Everybody should know when to stop eating fast food. We should put our eating habits in balance not too much fast food and also not too much vegetables and fruits. The main advantage is that fast food is convenient. It is available whenever you want. For example, people who works late at night are use to buying some meals on their way home. Usually they are too tired to make dinner themselves a dinner.
Global warming means that the temperature keeps going higher. The world is now warmer than at any time since the last Ice Age. The problem of desertification increases every year. More and more fertile areas become useless. Seas, lakes and other bodies of water dry out. One reason why the global warming is happening is that the population is growing and we need to do more work so everyone can feel themselves comfortable. They have enough to eat, new clothes, warm house and so on. Some areas become uninhabitable so people have to move around and maybe even fight for something. For example for clean water. People so far have acted careless and not thinking ahead too far in the future. There have been
For me are both very important. About education: Education is provided by the school, and whose existence will be checked. Education is a prerequisite for personal development, purpose and resources. Education is a purposeful process. Education is a prerequisite for communication, rather than treatment. Educational effects will turn out truthfully, in a problematic choice of situation. Education makes or tries to make the human body from the''normal''bodies, people who see things, think and behave as they should, as is the right fit. General education option will live in society normalises all relatively the same way. About upbringing: The primary prerequisites for the upbringing is love, caring, spirituality, continuity, integrity, justice, forgiveness, trust, dignity. Giant panda The giant panda lives in a few mountain ranges in central China. As a result of farming, deforestation and other development, the panda has been driven out of the lowland areas where it once lived. The Chinese language has given the bear 20 different names, such as ,,large bear cat'' or ,,bamboo bear'. Unlike other bear species, pandas have round pupils. Pandas are known for their large black patches around their eyes, ears and across their round bodies. Male pandas can weigh up to 160 kg and females can weigh as little as 75 kg. The giant panda's thick, wooly coat keeps it warm in the cool forests. It has strong jaw muscles and teeth for eating tough bamboo. Giant pandas are generally solitary. Each adult has a defined territory and female pandas do not tolerate each other. Pandas are known to attack humans, but rather out of irritation than aggression. Pandas are endangered species, threatened by continued habitat loss and by a very low

dump into the water every year. Every year, 14 billions pounds of sewage, sludge, and garbage are dumped into the world's oceans. 19 trillion gallons of waste also enter the water annually. The problem of ocean pollution affects every nation around the world. This is especially true because water is able to transport pollution from one location to another. For many years, chemicals were dumped into bodies of water without concern. While many countries have now banned such behavior, it continues to go on today. As the world has industrialized and its population has grown, the problem of water pollution has intensified. The simple fact that millions of people live along coastlines and near rivers means that these bodies of water are likely candidates for heavy and destructive pollution. It is hard to know now what our oceans will look like in the future. Just how damaged they will be

Celtic Mythology Celtic mythology is the mythology of Celtic polytheism, apparently the religion of the Iron Age Celts. Like other Iron Age Europeans, the early Celts maintained a polytheistic mythology and religious structure. Among Celts in close contact with Ancient Rome, such as the Gauls and Celtiberians, their mythology did not survive the Roman empire, their subsequent conversion to Christianity, and the loss of their Celtic languages. It is mostly through contemporary Roman and Christian sources that their mythology has been preserved. The Celts peoples who maintained either their political or linguistic identities (such as the Gaels and Brythonic tribes of Great Britain and Ireland) left vestigial remnants of their forebears' mythologies, put into written form during the Middle Ages. Though the Celtic world at its apex covered much of western and central Europe, it was not pol...

One day, five cars met each other and they decided to make career together. They went to Civic's garage, because his had the biggest and there they tuned each ohter. All got 6.0 turbo engines with professional transmissioon and the best thing was NOS. It means nitro and oxygen system. They tuned the bodies too. All cars got sport bumpers. And then all began. They won lots of races and they changed the best of winners. Other cars didn't like that thing. Other was thought, how to destroy Honda family. In future, all new power stations have to offer carbon dioxide capture and also must pump it away.

In animal experiments the acute toxicity of aniline shows significant species differences, with cats being much more sensitive than conventional laboratory animals. · General toxicity after repeated administration The main endpoint of aniline after repeated dosing is toxicity to the haematopoietic system with erythrotoxicity, methaemoglobinaemia, haemolytic anaemia and formation of Heinz bodies, with corresponding changes of the spleen, the bone marrow, the kidneys and the liver. The damaged red blood cells are scavenged predominantly in the red pulp of the spleen, followed by increased haemosiderin accumulation. Experience from humans after repeated oral intake gives indications of haematotoxicity at dosages from 0.4 mg/kg bw/day. b) Reproduction toxity · Developmental toxicity
Water pollution Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies such as lakes, rivers, oceans, and groundwater caused by human activities, which can be harmful to organisms and plants and for all of us. First, we have to talk about the causes of water pollution. Domestic households, industrial and agricultural practices produce wastewater that can cause pollution of many lakes and rivers. Industry is a huge source of water pollution, it produces pollutants that are extremely harmful to people and the environment.
Generated from natural resources. Doesn't harm the environment. Can't be replenished Most of our energy. May cause global warming. Wind energy is the fastest growing. Most renewable energy comes from the sun. Hydroelectric energy is the oldest and largest source. Renewable energy a.k.a "green" energy. Thank you for listening! We use energy every day. It surrounds us in different forms, such as light, heat, and electricity. Our bodies use the energy stored in molecules of substances like carbohydrates and protein to move, breathe, grow, and think. We also use energy to do work and to play. Humans have invented thousands of machines and appliances that use energy to make our work easier, to heat our homes, and to get ourselves from place to place. Some of these machines use electricity, while others, like automobiles, use the energy stored in substances such as gasoline.
are warm- blooded. They are the only mammals, other than seacows , that live their entire life in the water, and the only mammals that have adapted to life in the open oceans. Whales are not fish, because they have lungs and they breath air with them. What is special about the whales is their size. They are enormous. Whales are about 29 m long, height is the 9 sotry building. Many whales exhibit behaviors such as breaching and tail slapping that expose large parts of their bodies to the air. These mammals communicate with one another using whale songs, which often sound very high-pitched to the human ear. These songs are unique and fascinating even may be scary. Whales are moving in pods. The bond between mother and calf is the strongest. Members of a pod may protect one another. The toothed whales travel in large, sometimes stable pods, they frequently hunt their prey in groups, migrate together, and share care of their young. Baleen whales usually travel
Efficient initiatives to help protect the environment Just like our bodies, the environment functions best when it's in balance. Unfortunately, we're not quite there. Many of us believe that we lead lives that respect nature but our consumption habits give us away. Many little habits that seem to be sustainable are in fact polluting. Along with pollution, issues like depletion of resources, the rise of consumerism, and the "throw away" culture have led to serious issues. That being said, the fight's not over yet

Global warming The problem of desertification increases every year. More and more fertile areas become useless. Seas, lakes and other bodies of water dry out. Desertification does not only have an effect on the dry areas but also influences the areas that aren't haunted by the lack of water and land. Desertification has an effect on all of us. It slows down the development of agriculture or puts a total stop to it. The poor living conditions of developing countries drive people to search food somewhere else. In addition to natural ways, humankind helps along to the process of desertification that
A group of Danish scientists wondered whether global warming would make the hairy, meat-eating wolf spiders of northeastern Greenland bigger, since longer summers mean more hunting time. The spiders can live for at least two years, and the researchers found that, in years when spring came early, the animals grew larger, on average. For example, when spring came 30 days earlier than usual, some spiders grew exoskeletons that were 10 percent thicker than average, resulting in bigger bodies overall. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mA0u2J1bKAc Snakes There are around 3000 snake species in the world, and about 375 of these are venomous. African American man. In a little more than 50 years, the equality between people of all skin colors has grown a lot bigger. Although much of the western countries have made giant leaps in equality, there are still many countries, where discrimination between people exists. For example, in many Arabic countries, women have very little rights and their lives are dictated by men. They can't go out, without being accompanied by a man, they are forced to wear clothes that cover their entire bodies and they have no political rights. Even though western countries, including Estonia, have made great advances in providing equal rights and opportunities for everyone, there are still some things that need to be changed. For example the differences of salaries between men and women should be erased. Equality is very important, as a person does not get to choose, where he or she is born, whether she or he is a boy or a girl, what color her or his skin is and how wealthy his or her parents are

apoplast of S. bicolor in response to the fungal pathogen · Colletotrichum graminicola. The accumulation of phytoalexin starts with the occurrence of spherical cytoplasmic inclusions of about 1 m in diameter that merge to form a large entity of ~ 20 m diameter. · Similarly, during barley-powdery mildew interaction the deposition of H2O2 containing vacuole struc tures were observed. · Ultrastructural analysis showed that these vesicle-like bodies consist of a broad range of cellular structures that includes miniature cell wall appositions, para-mural bodies, and multivesicular bodies. · This condition reflects the specialized transport of different antimicrobial proteins, regulatory polypeptides, cell wall components, and other defense-related cargo. · SNARE homologues are involved in vesicle-mediated resistance to stripe rust (Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici).
ülevaade arhiivimoodustamisest. Arhiivikirjeldamisega võimaldatakse: 1) arhiivimoodustaja arhivaalide tekkekonteksti mõistmine; 2) juurdepääs arhivaalidele. (2) Arhiivikirjeldamise aluseks on Rahvusvahelise Arhiivinõukogu poolt heakskiidetud üldised rahvusvahelised kirjeldusstandardid: 1) ISAD(G): General International Standard Archival Description; 2) ISAAR(CPF): International Standard Archival Authority Record for Corporate Bodies, Persons and Families. 15. Nimeta vähemalt kaks arhiivivormingut. 1) ISAD(G): General International Standard Archival Description; 2) ISAAR(CPF): International Standard Archival Authority Record for Corporate Bodies, Persons and Families. pdf, doc, .rtf, .jpg 16.
Enim levinud kunstiteoste teema on armastus. Selliseid näiteid võib tuua lõpmatult
but has become more widespread The use of tall smokestacks to reduce local pollution has contributed to the spread of acid rain by releasing gases into regional atmospheric circulation Often deposition occurs a considerable distance downwind of the emissions, with mountainous regions tending to receive the greatest deposition An example of this effect is the low pH of rain which falls in Scandinavia Effects Many ecosystems are affected by acid rain. Bodies of water, such as lakes and rivers, see many of their inhabitants die off due to rising acidity levels. Acidic water also ruins plant nutrients, hurting plants' ability to survive and to give life to other organisms Human-made products are also experiencing degradation from acid rain. Cars can lose their finishes, and outdoor statues are beginning to rust Acid rain's effects are destructive and long lasting. Though scientists have studied
2. The earliest inhabitants The earliest humans living in Australia are called Aborigines and they are descended (pärinevad) from among the earliest humans in the world. For thousands of years Aborigines lived as hunter-gatherers along the coast and in the inland desert areas, following the same lifestyle as their ancestors. 3. Finding food and water Aboriginal tribes obtained water from trees and roots and even squeezed water out of the bodies of frogs. Women collected anything that grew or moved, including fruit, lizards, snakes, roots, grass, etc. Their skill in finding food even in the most extreme conditions often kept the whole group alive. 4. Hunting Large mammals, now extinct (väljasurnud), roamed some areas (hulkusid mingitel aladel) of Australia and provided (andsid) meat for the aboriginal hunters. Other areas were richer in vegetable food, but there was no organised agriculture or domesticated animals. Food
all. First of all, what do we claim to be a soul? It is our conscience with no form or location. It is the energy that is a part of the whole universe. In consideration of this, every human being has their own soul. This is what makes us all different and unique. Because of this, how can we even question the weight of our lives, when it seems to be completely different for everyone? Well, let's think about the moment of death. It is the exact moment, where our energy leaves our bodies. It has been scientifically proven that at this moment, every human being loses weight - 21 grams on average. Then comes the question that cannot be proven whether this loss is our souls or not. The movie ''21 grams'' brings up a subject that everything we are weights only 21 grams. It is a weight of a chocolate bar, a hummingbird. Still, without these few grams we cannot live without. With these facts, life seems truly inconsequential to me
