Too many is used with plural countable nouns. The station was very crowded. There were too many people there. Some, any + -body / -one, + -thing, + -where The compounds of some and any behave in the same way as some and any, i.e. some- is used in affirmative sentences and any- in negatives and questions, although some- is also used in questions to offer something, to ask for something or when we expect a positive answer: I saw somebody there. I did not see anybody there. Did you see anybody there? Would you like something to eat? ‘I did not see anybody there’ means the same as ‘I saw nobody there’, but two negative words cannot be used: *I did not see nobody there. (WRONG – there is no double negation in English!) Anybody, nobody and somebody mean the same as anyone, no-one and someone respectively. No-one can also be written no one. Any- in affirmative sentences means "every-" or "it does not matter which / who":
*Who is that woman? I don't know who that woman is. *Where can I find Linda? Can you tell me where I can find Linda? * How much will it cost? Have you any idea how much it will cost? Be careful with do/does/did questions: *What time does the film begin? Do you know what time the film begins? *What do you mean? Please explain what you mean. *Why did Ann leave early? I wonder why Ann left early. Use IF or WHETHER where there is no other question word: * Did anybody see you? Do you know if (or whether) anybody saw you?

But in the other half of the movie, something different happens. The ship hits an iceberg and sinks. Jack dies, but Rose survives. I have never liked other movies so much. This movie is the best on my list. ,,Titanic" is a movie which is perfect in every aspect. I like it very much and I will watch this movie again with a big pleasure. In my opinion, ,,Titanic" is a film what goes to the heart. It captures the soul.I would certainly recommend it to anybody who likes films about true love and about terrible disaster.
certificate. The house was full of beautiful decorations and balloons. The kitchen was full of food. There were a lot of sandwiches, chips, cakes, pies and candies and also a lot of drinks. My favorite drink was a strawberry smoothie. I also liked Fanta. I liked the music because it was very relaxing. I played there a lot of games. My favorite game was hide-and-seek, I also played board games. I did not dance .We also played football, basketball and Airsoft. I didn't meet anybody new there because I knew everybody.6 The party finished at ten o'clock. I did not stay overnight because I didn't want to. I didn't take any photos because I left my camera at home. I liked the party very much and I had a lot of fun.
A large pot stood at one end of hall and the soup was served by the master. Each boy had one small bowl and no more. They were always hungry, so one day they decided that one boy would ask for more soup. Oliver was chosen. One day he went to the master and asked for more soup. Then the master hit Oliver with his spoon and cried for help. Mr Bumble rushed into the room and the master told him what Oliver had said. He took Oliver away and shut him in a dark room. Then they offered 5 pounds to anybody who would take Oliver. Oliver was a prisoner and Mr Bumle hit him in front of everybody. He spent every day crying. One day Mr Bumble met Mr Sowerberry. Mr Bumble took Oliver to Mr Sowerberry'shop. Oliver did not want to go. He pomised to be good. Then they met Mrs Sowerberry. She said that Oliver was very small but Mr Bumble explained that he would grow. They gave Oliver a plate of the dog's food and he was pused into a dark room
Review: 8 Mile 8 Mile is the musical drama of B-Rabbit's (Eminem) one week. It's a rap version of "Saturday Night Fever." For now it's out of date, but people loves it due to it's soundtrack. B-Rabbit, a wannabe rapper from the wrong side of Detroit's 8 Mile, has problems: he dumps his girlfriend when she tells him she's pregnant; to save money to make a demo tape, he moves into his alcoholic mom's (Kim Basinger) trailer; his job's a dead end, and he's just choked at the local head- to-head rap contest. Things improve when he meets Alex (Brittany Murphy) - an aspiring model headed for New York - and a fast-talking pal Wink (Eugene Byrd) promises to set up the demo. Then new setbacks: Alex isn't faithful, mom rejects him, rifts surface with his friends, and he's mugged by rivals. Everything hinges on the next rap showdown at the club. Can B-Rabbit pull truth out of his cap? I liked the film because ...
to evaluate art. Also art educates people and enlarges their knowledge. But on the other hand, keeping and taking care of exhibitons have so many expenses like hiring skilled staff or paying electricity bills that it is impossible not to pay for visiting art galleries. In addition to that being a artist is a job like every another one too and needs to be paid. Finally, I think it it better to decrease the prices of art galleries to the lowest price so that anybody in society could afford it and enjoy arts. In this way more people would visit art exhibitions and educate themselves. In conclusion, in my opinion arts related entertainment should not be free, because all artists need to have an income and have to be paid. But visiting exhibitons should be as cheap as possible so more people would visit it and actually pay attention to art more than they do now.

friends. You haven't found out the real and fake friends. The more you grow, the more you get to know people and their skill of being a good friend. When you find a good group of friends, you decide to share secrets, hang out and improve your relationships with them. You start to trust people more, and that is the part, when friends might come before family does. You put your friends in the first place, where they have the most influence than anybody else. In summary, i think that almost every situation depends on different decisions in life, for example whether you hang out with your friends more or not. But you can't never rely on your friends, so I think that family influence is the most important in life. Johanna Maria Kaleininkas
My Breakfast It is not a secret to anybody nowadays that our meals influence our health as well as our mood. Breakfast remains essential to a healthy lifestyle; it replenishes person's supply of glucose and provides other essential nutrients to keep your energy levels up throughout the day. That's why I consider breakfast to be the most important meal in the day as it is the first our meal in the morning and it can put us in good spirits for the whole day. Now I shall tell you about my own breakfast. In the morning I usually have porridge or corn flakes. Sometimes I start my breakfast with a cereal which is not cooked, it is something dry, ready to be eaten or muesli some grain or porridge which is not cooked with dried fruit, nuts and so on. I also like eating eggs (cooked in different ways). I don't practically eat butter; I prefer soft margarine made of vegetable fat, which is not heavy and creamy. I don't eat j...
The pure bliss you get out of Skydiving outweighs all the fears engendered by this sport. It manifests a lot of emotions during the jump and gives a very relaxing feeling once you get back on the ground. I will start by describing what I felt when I was at the Koigi airfield ready for getting on the plane. As I was making my way to the plane, I was going over seven steps in my mind: count to seven, grab the controls, check the dome, check the wind direction, make sure anybody isn’t close, locate the landing area and prepare for landing 600 meters above ground. It all sounded very easy in my mind, but how would I know it if I had never done it before? We were getting on the plane and I was getting more and more nervous, when our instructor told us that if we did not jump he would kick us out with his leg and that made me even more nervous. After we got to the jumping altitude our instructor opened the door and told me: “You are first”.
It guides the way we create documents, send e-mail and exchange information in a multitude of different ways. But what we should not forget while reaping benefits of this easy information is that no source is neutral and when we digest on daily basis information that comes with a mentality of a certain country, we also digest that mentality. And speaking of the mentality, then I'd like to draw attention to the everspanning "you can be anybody" (also known as "turning slumdogs into millionairs" – "ajalehepoisist miljonäriks"). Since I myself belong to an older age group not so much influenced by this philosophy, I can mostly take note of what I've heard from my ten years younger friends. They do complain, that many of them were brought up with some quite impossible expectations, with believing the "American dream", which in Estonian translated solely into "you can be anybody if you want to". Of course, it
In factory is very much work positions and that is also good and very necessery. All factorys are very good , because that city where these are , there is very less unemployments. Also in factorys are quite simple job because most job make machines, and job is always the same , and machines don't change so fast , and its not nessesery to learn new equipment and machines know that save time , and nerves , and also many people can work forth , and anybody must not leave . In many factorys manufacture , those thing what change the world , and makes that much much simple and better and easier . Also makes many factory work people smarter and clever, so they can invent new things , what can use and what can factory make to others to use. Thats good because then everything innovate and change much simple and extensivly useable. Thats good that people are invent factory , because that change whole world to better place
When you see good in people you will feel more positive. Donate to hospitals or people who need it. You do not need to donate to everybody, but if you can, it would be nice. You can also donate blood or organs. Many people need those things. Think of it, that you can save someone’s life. Do not never lie. Lying is very bad and it takes lot energy, because you have to remember everything what you have said before. Do not hate anybody. Forgive everyone, it may take time, but forgive. Forgiveness will make you feel better and happier. Take more time, to go out and feel the nature. Do not throw trash in the nature. You have to keep the environment clean. It is horrible to see trash in the nature. Recycle trash like newspaper and plastic. Take those to other bags. These are things that can change the world, but remember you have to start with yourself.

The most smartest students in the class were Hendrik and Liisi. The schoolmates figured that Mikk and Eneken were the most sportive students in this class. Rauno and Kristin were the quietest students. Abitur made parody of our school's teachers. It was cool and very funny, but it doesn't insult anybody. After this parody they musted to sing, dance ballet, eat carrots, saw a billet and play a funny game with balloon. Rakke Gymnasium is empty now one of the bests class have gone. On the same day another angry student broke glass wall, after he was asked to leave from class. ,, I can't understand, if children doesn't have anything else but burn thing to do anymore!" said literature teatcher Kirsi Rannaste. The highest result of education is tolerance Ladies and gentleman! Today I will discuss a topic what is opened by a quote by beautiful Helen Keller: The highest result of education is tolerance. Today is the day you will understand that her quote is accurate. So I should probably start with a question. Why should we be tolerant to weird kids at school? Does anybody in this room know why?........Okay, let's just drop that question for now, we'll come back to it later. If I would ask you Where do we get our education from you all would probably say: From schools duuuh! But what is a school? Tallinn English College? Yeah, it is a school with all those fancy numbers with what you can become successful........but the greatest education comes from the life school where we learn about other people's views and thoughts. And
people around him are bound to inhale the smoke coming out of his cigarette, so making them prone to all the diseases an active smoker gets. Thus, if smoking is banned, spread of these diseases can be checked. Secondly, it will put pressure on the smoker to quit. Since, he will be unable to smoke in public places, he will learn how to live without smoking a cigarette for long hours. Moreover, when a smoker does not see anybody around him smoking or smelling of cigarette, it might reduce his urge to smoke too. Accordingly, one of its major advantages is that it forces people to quit smoking. Looking from the economic point of view, since smoking is a major contributing factor to many diseases, it leads to absenteeism from work. Moreover, employees smoke tend to take breaks now and then to smoke, as a result lowering the number of hours they put in their work
and work with it you do not develop and then the talent is useless. I have a friend who has great singing voice, but she hasn’t trained it and unfortunately she’s not achieved anything in singing. I think if she had practiced singing, she could be very good and maybe even famous singer. Furthermore, Experience is something that everybody can gain and i think that experience is even more important than talent. Some jobs like a driver, police officer or firefighter need experience. Anybody isn’t born for becoming a firefighter. I believe that if you have a real intention, then you can be anything you want, you just have to work for it. I can’t say i am a talented dancer, but i have a real intention to dance, so i work hard to become more and more experienced If i hadn’t trained it i would not be there, where i am now: i have danced on many different stages in Estonia and abroad, for instance i have participated in
by a surprise coup. After 1918, their political opponents tried to reverse it. The Bolsheviks had many enemies. One group who wanted to destroy the Bolsheviks were the Social Revolutionaries. At first, they had supported the November Revolution. Elections had been held in November 1917 for a new government, the Assembly in which the Bolsheviks had won 175 seats and the Social Revolutionaries 370 seats. However, when it met in 1918, Lenin used the Red Guards to close the Assembly, and killed anybody who objected. The Social Revolutionaries fought back by attacking the Bolshevik government. The Bolsheviks were also opposed by the Mensheviks, who had controlled the Provisional Government, and who they had toppled from control of the Soviets in September, and by the Tsarists, who wanted to rescue Nicholas II and put him back on the throne. Lenin made peace with Germany ,the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, in which Russia had lost much of Russia's best

I'm very pleased to report that I joined the group of people who have already read "The catcher in the rye". Many people have mentioned this story in some conversations and lots of quotes in Internet contain "J.D.Salinder" in the end of it, therefore I was really excited when we decided to read this book as a part of our English lesson course

sick and she had thrown up on the boy. Then some days later the really bad news came out. A boy at the party had put a camera in the girl's bathroom and they were going to have a video showing party the next weekend. Jess was desperated. After that soup accident she had gone to the toilet to wash her bras so she tought that everyone could see and find out about his secret fillings in bras. She told his very good friend Fred that she don't want anybody to see that tape. Fred and Jess were very good friend, and to help Jess Fred stole the tape. Fred and Jess were very close to each other. They often went to school and back from there together. They had been friends since childhood and they shared their secrets and thoughts. They could always rely on each other. For example in the middle of the book Jess's granny moved to their place and got Jess's room. Jess was very upset. Jess ran to Fred and spend a night at his place

We have to hope that the love juice never wears off Demetrius, or she is in trouble *Hermia: Short, dark-complected beauty. Spunky and likable. *Lysander: Likable, rationalizer, sense of humor. He suggests Egeus and Demetrius get married. He cites classic stories as models for "the course of true love", and thinks the effects of the love juice are the workings of his own "reason". Evaluation For my oppinion Shakespeare has made a very good play.Anybody who likes a bit of fantasy and fairy tale, like I do, will love this. It is real escape from the everyday and is very easy to read, as far as Shakespeare plays go. The language of the characters likewise occurs in a mix: the verse or poetry of the love-struck couples and the homespunand often humorous--prose of the bumbling tradesmen.Set in a magical forest, the play is all about match making and infidelity, mischief and romance. All of the characters are strong and have wonderful
ignore the rest. Instead of modifying a theory based on new evidence they are engaged in pseudohistory; the rewriting of the past for personal or political purposes. WHAT IS DENIED AND BY WHOM? The gas chambers: Pat Buchanan, the most effective Holocaust denier in America has stated that the gas chambers were not used at the camps to exterminate Jews simply because `'the diesel engines don't emit enough carbon monoxide to kill anybody''. The six million people murdered: the first influential Holocaust revisionist, Paul Rassinier, said the number of Jewish victims was exaggerated and his own estimate was that only about 1,5 million Jews died. Cause of deaths: deniers say the deaths in concentration camps resulted in disease or starvation; that they weren't killed by the Nazis. And if they were, it was because of wartime privations. 300 000 to one or two million Jews were killed in ghettos and camps.
That means that it's the lifetime of the speaker. I have travelled to Europe (in my life). If the person is dead we can't use Present Perfect. Hitler has killed killed many people. (Hitler's time period is finished, so Past Simple must be used) Used with just, already, yet, ever, never. I've just finished my work. I've already walked the dog. He hasn't done his homework yet. Have you ever seen a dragon? I've never hurt anybody. Used to talk about an action in the past when you can see the result now. Oh, you've had a haircut. Used with "It's the first/second/third/etc. time" It's the first time he has kissed a girl. Used with superlatives That's the ugliest frog I've ever seen. Present Perfect Continuous Used to talk about an action that began in the past and continues now when we are interested in how long. Usually we know when the action begun.
privacy. It is also that they do not allow enough scope for the expression of individuality. Not everything about housing in Britain displays individuality. Most houses are built one at a time. Instead, whole streets, even neighborhoods, are built at the same time and same design. But if you walk down the same street that you saw from the air, every single house would seem differentpeople give individuality to their house. All this says to us that anybody who wants to built an extension to their house must first get "planning permission" from the local authorities. Interiors: the importance of cosiness British idea of home is as much psychological as physical, so is their idea of domestic comfort. The important thing is to feel cosy that is, to create an atmosphere which seem warm. To many, part of cosiness is the feeling of tradition. Privacy is an element of cosiness. Privacy must be preserved so houses normally have a "hall" onto

2. Can you reject solipsism? Solipsism (solus ipse) means nothing exists, therefore everything is an illusion outside of our own minds. I think that it is true that we know WE as in myself exists. But i can not for certain say that the person reading this exists although it might seems like it to me. I think that you really can’t reject solipsism on the whole because you do know that you exists, but can you for certain say that anybody else does? It may as well be just an illusion, but you never can say for certain. That is why you can not reject it, although you may say that you don’t believe it. 3. What is Kant’s categorical imperative? I: It's about time we set off. Come along. MARY: Half a minute. Give us time to put our hats and coats on. I: Come on, Tom. We'll get the car out of the garage while the ladies are getting ready. TOM: I'm with you. [We go to the garage, open the door and get into the car. I take the brake off, switch on the ignition, press the self-starter and the engine comes to life.] Shall I get out and shut the garage door? I: No need to; there's nothing for anybody to steal. [I back the car out of the garage and pull up at the front door. Mary and Susan get into the back of the car.] We're off. Now, Tom, you keep a good look-out for the traffic lights. Tell me if you see a red one against us. TOM: All right. Your headlights are not very good. I: I know. The battery's rather weak. I must get it seen to. TOM: It's beginning to rain. I can hear it on the roof. I: By Jove! You're right. What's more, it's running down the windscreen. I can hardly see
In the past, Christians used up all their milk, butter and eggs on Shrove Tuesday because they were not allowed to eat them during Lent. Pancake races are often arranged for women in which competitors carry a pancake in a frying pan and have to toss the pancake into the air, catching it again in the pan. Very thin, flat, round pancakes are usually eaten with lemon juice and sugar. 5. What is a Cockney? (people and language) Traditionally, a true Cockney is anybody born within the sound of Bow bells (the bells of the church of St Mary-le-Bow). In fact the term is commonly used to denote people who come from a wider area of the innermost eastern suburbs of London and also an adjoining area south of the Thames. `Cockney' is also used to describe a strong London accent and it is associated with working-class origins. A feature of Cockney speech is rhyming slang : `wife' is referred to as `trouble and strife' and
He gets that idea by misinterpreting a part of the poem to mean "if a body catch a body", rather than "if a body meet a body". In the end of the book, Holden decides to run away from home to somewhere far away from it. When he confronts his sister with his plans, she wants to go with him but Holden refuses, deciding not to go anyway in the end. Instead, Holden takes his sister to the zoo and watches her ride a carousel. The book ends with words "Don't ever tell anybody anything. If you do, you start missing everybody," which is, in my opinion, also very thought provoking. 4. Language (list of words or expressions frequently used by the author): The novel is filled with slang of the time the book takes place in. · Crumby disappointing, inadequate · Phony very hypocritical · That killed me a phrase used often in the book to display something Holden found hilarious. · [..

Through the film Madeline played one of the central roles and even at the end it seems like she could manipulate and control Bucky. She has the right to say what she wants. In this case, however, the anti-hero has the power and femme fatale gets shot. As well as in this sequence, we also see guns in almost every other Film Noir. The Dialogue replicates to the corruption, to violence. Bucky words `` I have been pointing my gun at a lot of people this week. I haven't had the chance to shoot anybody yet. What do you think?`` have more than just clear connection to the guns and the fact that he is an anti- hero. Smoking is also one of the Noir codes. The detail that the woman smokes is also expressing the independence of woman, femme fatale. The visual style in Film Noir is used to replicate the nature of the world in which the films are set. Particularly in the closing sequence, there are many shadows, scene is set at night, darkness is all over the action
described from his perspective. An injured pilot in his thirties. A great man, good looks, nice soul. He sincerely cared for everybody, his sister the most because he is the one who made her leave London. He was never mad at anybody, except himself after the accident when he discovered he probably wouldn't be able to fly any kind of plane again. He didn't seem like a true city person who would think themselves better than some villagers, quite the opposite. He was the first one to show some respect for Megan, he saw
less I just cannot help it! I love fiction too much. So, I think that this is it, I do not have much to say anymore. Now you know what to expect from me. Henry Tilney My name is Henry Tilney. I am actually not sure what to tell you about myself, because I am just an ordinary man and I think of myself as a rather boring person. I definitely do not want to sound self-centered, but I must say that I am always rather gentle and caring. I pay attention to others' feelings and never want to hurt anybody. I often display a humorous arrogance and ironic humour towards women. I especially like to do that to Catherine because she is just so naïve. Do not get me wrong, I love and respect women very much, but sometimes I just cannot hold back a good joke. I usually say the opposite of what I mean, in order to seem funny. Isn't that rather clever? I have to admit that I am a perceptive person because I understand people quite well. I
