Film review „ Titanic” One of the best films that I have seen recently is called „Titanic”, a disaster and romantic film directed and written by James Cameron, music by James Horner.The important characters are Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack dawson and Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater. „Titanic“ is a very moving and gripping film. In the film we see that a ship called „Titanic” sails out. The people are very happy to board the ship. They consider it as an unsinkable ship.In the first half of the movie Rose and Jack fall in love. They are trying to be together although it is not allowed because Rose is from the good family and Jack is just a poor boy. Rose’s husband was very angry and wanted to kill Jack. But in the other half of the movie,something different happens.The ship hits an iceberg

The Polar Boy A year ago, I decided to go to the cinema and watch something extraordinary. The choice fell on an Estonian film “The Polar Boy”. It is a touching romantic drama film produced in Estonia that premiered on May 13. 2016. The film was directed by Anu Aun and the film stars are Roland Laos and Jaanika Arum. This film focuses on the development of the relationship between two young people - Mattias and Hannah. "The Polar Boy" has been supported by Estonian Film Foundation. renting and building sets cost money etc. So, in the long term, making longer films more than 3 hours is not that good idea. Longer films would start losing money. Films in ordinary cinema are not long. Because of that, filmmakers have to make compromises, all the time and everywhere. Starting with the writer. If they come with an original idea, easier for them. They don’t have to go that deep into the background of the characters to tell the story because there would be enough time in the film to show it, so they can write less but better. When writers have to adapt story from the book, it gets more complicated. Firstly they have to get to the very core message what the book has to say and even speak to the original writer. Then all the rough material has to be watered down to fit to the strict time limit for the movie. That means, maybe altering story, events, characters, back story. When making dialogue shorter, meaningful messages might get lost or doesn’t have
