I read the book „The last song “, so to begin with the book told a story about 17 year old Veronica (called Ronnie )Miller´s life while her parents divorced and her father Steve moved from New York , where she lives to North Carolina, Wilmington. Steve was a concert pianist and teacher . She hasn´t met her father for three years and now her mother sent her and her brother Jonah to dad´s place , which was located near the beach . Ronnie was distant from her parents and especially from her father. In Wilmington she had a good time with her new friend Will, how she met at the beach while he was playing volleyball and run into her by accident , but Will was the last person she thought she’d ever be attracted to, and she found herself falling for him, opening herself up to the greatest happiness that she has ever known. But Ronnie´s father was at the start of the book very careful with that relationship because he didn´t want Ronnie to get hurt . One day Ronnie’s father collapsed and he was taken to hospital. It turned out that he had stomach cancer and he didn´t wanted Ronnie and Jonah to know about that and just have a great time with his children . After some things Ronnie realized about Will she was really hurt and wanted to forget him. So when the summer ended Ronnie stayed with his father and Jonah had to go with mother back to NY, when Steve was so weak and ill that he couldn’t even play piano Ronnie decided to finish that song and that was the second time after his father left them when she played. After Steve´s death Ronnie meets Will for the last time, at least so she thinks, but after Christmas, Will decided to transfer and go to college in New York so he can spend more time with Ronnie.
