The accident took place in Mellowtown, at the intersection of Main Street and Broadway about 12.30. A chicken farmer was driving his chickens to a market, when by unknown reason he made an accident. Tom Phillips, the chicken farmer, said that he was driving slowly and carefully as always, but suddenly the truck started to make strange noise and he could not control it any more. Then he crashed. As a result the crates, where the chickens were held, went to pieces and chickens broke free.
