Setting The story starts in the year 1950 when the novel's protagonist and narrator Holden starts telling a story from a hospital about the events of last year's winter. Most of the story takes place in winter of 1949 just over a couple of days in Pennsylvania and New York.
But in the movie some of the most important scenes were left out and the movie lost a lot with that. It seems that the director tried to make Erik seem like a non-violent hero or something like that. At first, when I found out that "Evil" is going to be on TV, I was really exited in seeing it and finding out on how it had been produced. But after seeing it, I was somewhat disappointed, because as I've said, the producer left out some of the best parts. But those who hadn't read the book and watched it with me really liked it, so I guess it was a pretty good film. On the other hand, one of my friend who had read the book, thought the same as me. So I guess I would really recommend the book, but I would only recommend the movie to those, who have not read the book.

Joe goes back to home and finds out that he cant live without Harry, who he discovers, is a lot like Joe himself and Barbara, who has been and always will be his most loved one. Joe discovers that it is hurting others that hurts and they reconcile with Susan. The author is really good at descriptions there are just wonderful descriptions in the book. Always when Joe meets someone new or an old friend then the author describes him/her like he/she was the most important one and I like that every little detail counts. I love how the author has made out Barbara´s character it is seen clearly how lovely and cute she is. I would recommend this book to everyone who likes to read a good novel without guessing at the beginning how the book is going to end

There is still a place, where I can not do this. That place is unfortunately my home, what does not makes the homely feeling in me. When I was just a little girl, my mother died and everything in my life changed. My father separated me from my sister and brother. I had to go to live in his family and accept with a stepmother and their kids. To me was verboten to say my opinion about something.
