Janely Plamus Meeting the wolf Many years ago on Sunday a young girl walked on a lonely road. The sun was shining and light clouds were in the sky. She was on her way home. Suddenly the sun disappeared and dark clouds appeared in the sky. She felt a little scared but didn't pay much attention on it. Before she could find any place to hide, it started raining. The weather was getting worse and worse until there were an awful thunderstorm. The girl had nowhere to go, she was frightened and started crying. She heard something moving in the bushes which scared her even more. She tried to be quiet and see what was in the bushes but she didn't see anything. As soon as she took a deep breath, the wolf jumped out of the bushes. He sniffed around and
made for themselves a picnic. For a long time we were at the lake until evening. Had with him brought a tent, so we decide to spend the night at the lake. created our bonfires and sat next to him. One of my friends started telling scary stories, which corresponded to reality. Once very tired, We were walking to bed. As several of my friends and we decide joke from a friend who has slept. We supported the story is a terrible story. We started to rekindle he aloud. He is very scared, even the tent began to fly. After such a fun night we were preparing to go home. Most scared, others thought that we would joke. But unfortunately it was not laughter and not a prank. The car is out of fuel, and the city is still very far away. Then, we decide to leave their cars and travel on foot
Marriage vs cohabiting If one day marriage was a traditional part of people’s lives than nowadays many people choose cohabitation instead. In my opinion there are upsides and downsides to both marriage and cohabiting. Firstly let’s look at the up- and downsides of marriage. Marriage is a big commitment, so many people tend to be scared of it. They are scared that their marriage will lead to divorce, in which case the parting can turn out to be much more complicated than parting in case of cohabitation. The second problem is that many people just don’t see the point in marrying. And there is also the financial loss of the celebrations and the ring and things like that. I think that one of the upsides of marriage is definitely the promise that people make to eachother when marrying
- Marilyn Monroe *I love the feeling when you smile at me, or even just look at me, because I know that I've crossed your mind. Even just for a second - Anonymous You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with. Me? I'm scared of everything. I'm scared of what I feel, of what I've said, of who I am, but most of all I'm scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my life the way I feel when I'm with you. I wish you could hear all the words I'm too afraid to say. A relationship is only made for two, but some bitches don't know how to count - all those moments will be lost in time , like tears in the rain . - people always tell me to follow my dreams , so thats why i follow u .
just for illustration, because as a matter of fact her father was an ordinary farmer, and logically she had as much beauty as a goat was a cow. It means she was considered quite ugly. One day, after the tiring work in the garden, she felt very dizzy all of sudden and soon fainted under the heating sunlight. When she woke up, she was lying on the floor of a beautiful castle. There were flowers everywhere, but no doors as she noticed soon. "Where oh Earth am I?" the girl wondered now. She wasn't scared, just tired of the work she had to do on her father's farm. Suddenly, strange music of a lonely violin started playing. The melody was so unhappy that Shatelie wanted to cry. She didn't see anyone, yet the music was so close to her heart! "You're so sad," she said and closed her eyes to listen, but an unexpected silence arrived. "Why?" asked Shatelie now, "Continue, please! Your violin brought me here from a totally different world... So don't stop! Please! Before I disappear again..."

and white, instead of green. I wasn’t able to understand anything. I saw things that could not be possible and thing that I had never seen before. I got out of the woods. I reached the town gates. They were locked. I was very confused and the best idea that came to my head was to climb over the gate. And so I did. I got safely to the other side of the gate. All of the villagers were outside. There was also my friend in front of the restaurant. Something was wrong with him too. He was scared and frightened. His hands were sweating and he had pale look on his face, like he had seen something creepy. „What’s going on? Why’s everyone outside? Why is the rainbow so different?“ I asked him. My friend didn’t answer. Suddenly I heard something strange. The city gates opened and an army of monsters came in. They were all dressed in black. They had big teeth and they were carrying swords and gems. They had a very similar faces to humans, but something was different. They had tales

A storm at sea Once upon a time Tony, Paul and Jason decided to go on a sailing holiday on an unexpectedly stormy day. As Jason was standing on the deck of the boat, black clouds were gathering. There were huges wavews that were crashing the boat. It was a clear sign of an approaching storm. The boat was rocking from side to side. They noticed a thunder that rolled across the sky. They were almost scared to death. Lightning flashed numerous times when suddenly a bolt of lightning struck the boat. They were in danger. The bolt hit the mast, which burst into flames. After that, Tony radioed for help. They threw the life raft into the water and jumped into it. The boat was sinking slowly. The three men heard the sound of a boat that was quite close to them. Seeing it approaching, they were relieved and happy. All of them were saved
Jane Eyre I decided to read the book Jane Eyre. Jane Eyre was an orphan who lived with Mrs. Reed, her cruel, wealthy aunt. Only a servant named Bessie was gind to Jane, who told her stories and sang songs to her. One day, Jane’s cousin John Reed bullied Jane and Jane got mad. Jane was really scared of that room because, she believed that her uncle’s ghost was still in there. In the room Jane was screaming and so scared that she fainted. When she waked up, Mrs. Reed decided to send Jane to the Lowood School, Jane was also happy to leave. When Jane arrived to the school she found out that her life was better in her aunt house than in that school. The school’s headmaster was Mr. Brocklehurst, a cruel, hypocritical, and abusive man, who treated the students really bad
real situation. If you train hard, you will succeed in sport. If you don’t train hard, you won’t succeed in sport. We can also use modal verbs (can, may, must, should) instead of verbs in the main clause. If i have enough time, i can visit you. Unreal conditions (Type II) These sentences describe what the speaker thinks would possibly happen in an imaginary situation. If I saw a ghost, I would be scared. If I had wings, I could fly. We can give advice with If I were you. If I were you wouldn’t do that NOTE We normally use were instead of was in conditional sentences. I’d go to the cinema, if i weren’t so tired. Ekke Kaha WISHES We use the verb wish when we want to say that we would like something to be different in the present
As soon as I saw the rest of the group at the airport, I realised that I made a dreadful mistake. I shouldn’t have booked this trip alone. I should have invited a friend with me. Rest of the group standing few hundred meters away from me were punks. I mean literally punk people with their weird hairstyles and entirely dressed in black. They seemed so terryfing to me. Few of them noticed me standing here and they gave me smirky smiles. That scared me even more. How the hell am I supposed to enjoy this trip with these guys? I started walking slowly towards them, thinking that maybe I should turn around and not go to this trip. But I payed so much money and waited for this journey for so long. I reached the group and I was shaking a little. But you know what? They turned out to be the nicest and friendliest people and I had the best trip ever with them. That’s why there is a saying that don’t judge a book by it’s cover-
Jessica Martin (Kim Basinger) is a teacher and a mother, whose life changes into a nightmare with just some seconds, when she's being kidnaped in the middle of the day and kept in a unknown attic . On the other side answers her cry for help Ryan (Chris Evans), who is taken into dangerous situations with a minute . Starts a race with time when Ryan tryes to find scared Jessica before, the line disconnects. Which I most liked in this film is that it's a thriller from start to end. And every little thing in this film is so detaild and that's why it seems realistic. I would recommend it to every person who likes actions and isn't afraid of blood. Couse this film is really worth seeing!

Friends are a pretty important part of most people's lives. Good friend is the person who gives you the better of the two choices, hold your hand when you're scared, helps you fight off those who try to take advantage of you, thinks of you at times when you are not there, reminds you of what you have forgotten, helps you put the past behind you but understands when you need to hold on to it a little longer, stays with you so that you have confidence, goes out of their way to make time for you, helps you clear up your mistakes, helps you deal with pressure from others, smiles for you when they are sad, helps you become a better person
To: Ms Johanson From: Mari Mets Subject: The factors Estonian students consider important when choosing a job Introduction The aim of this report is to analyse the results of two surveys into the information about which factors Estonian students consider important when choosing a job. The two surveys were carried out in 2005 and 2013. At the end of the report there are some possible reasons for the changes. Grow of importance To start with, the importance had grown 14% for the pay, 15% for the work atmosphere and 20% for work/life balance. The pay has stayed the same in the ranking of importance but the ranking of work/life balance has dropped from fourth to second place. Fall of importance In contrast, the importance of job security has fallen by 22% and job content by 16%. They used to be equally ranked the second, but now they have become the least important factors when choosing a job. Conclusion To sum up, the importance of...
Samantha had difficulties with making new friends. She sat alone in the canteen. She was always bullied by the big tough girls at the school. Once she stood up to them and the bad girls seemed to like her so called “sassiness”. They invited her to the back ally to “talk”, of course Sam did not know what they ment by that, so she went outside. As they were outside one of the bad girls pulled out a syringe and injected it into Samantha. She was scared to her life, that was literally the last thing she would have thought of. The bad girls only laughed, they guessed that it would be funny. But when one of the other girls injected it, she started foaming from her moth and fell down. She had an overdose. The other girls ran but Samantha quickly called for help. All Sam knows is that she was taken to a hospital.
B It was a cloudy afternoon, when Jason, Paul and Tony were on a sailing holiday last summer. It all took place at a calm sea. Jason was standing on the deck of the boat when he saw black clouds gathering in the sky. He realized that the storm is not far from them. A minute later they found themselves in the middle of the storm. Huge waves were crashing and the boat was rocking from side to side as thunder rolled across the sky. They were extremely scared. They understanded that they were in huge danger, so Tony radioed for help. Just then a bolt of lightning struck the boat and the mast burst into flames. Tony said ,,We can't save the boat, but we can save our lives". They jumped into the water and swam to the life raft. As they climbed into the life raft they saw the boat sink slowly. When the men heard the sound of a boat, they were waving and hoping that the coast guards will see them. Paul, Tony and Jason were
Safe streets again Increasing crime frequency is serious concern for everybody. Feeling unsecure, being scared are things that we should not encounter in our society. Nevertheless we have to find solution, which will last. Firstly, we have to create greater police presence. More officers means more people will certainly get help and feel safe again, which is the most important. Also criminals cannot accomplish crimes, because they definitely do not want to be caught. Secondly, we have to establish tougher sentences for those who commit crimes
or some other small animal; the father turned his attention to the garage. The whole family then went to see what was going on, when they opened the old squeaking garage door; they saw an old lady who was sitting in a chair rocking back and forth very slowly. The father went to the car and directed the cars headlights towards the lady, they saw nothing, when he turned the lights out again, and the lady appeared. He did it again, same thing happened. The family was stunned and scared. They drove away as quickly as they could and never went back to that house. They later found out that in the 19th century there lived a happy couple, but when the husband died, wife had gone crazy.

Also government tried to keep a low profile, if there were some wars in state. These are my thoughts of creating and keeping something. In the old times were many wars. Some states predominated over other weaker countries or states. Weaker countries had created their own and loved country and they wanted to live like that for a long time. But also stronger countries wanted to broaden their boards and become bigger than other strong states. I think that little countries scared. I understand it that way because they had saw a lot of hard work to build a country and live there is peace. And stronger states wanted to destroy all the worth what these people had seen with building their country. Bigger states may had a bigger army than them but little country was ready to fight. It was because they had a faith that they may can win them and save their country. It is understandable, I would to the same thing, cause I would not care how big
I decided to call my brother, I told him to meet me halfway, he agreed. I started listening to my music because I thought this would make the fear go away. Out of nowhere somebody hit me and grabbed my bag, I couldn't catch him because I was wearing heels, I panicked and called my brother saying that someone stole my bag and that mugger was running towards him, my brother told me to stay calm and go straight home. I went home scared as hell and about 10 minutes later my brother came back home to, he had catched the mugger and he handed him over to police so it was kind of happy story for me.
us. We sneaked out of our room and ran over a big hilly field into the dark forest. Unfortunately a strict teacher saw us and started coming towards us. We freaked out and started running through the forest. Luckily the teacher gave up looking for us very easily, but to my horror we had lost each other. I decided to run through the forest to the beach. The way was really short and the forest wasn't dense either, but I was still a bit scared, because I was alone. When I got to the beach I saw Jane and Elisabeth. We were relieved and happy to find each other. We took some pictures and watched the sunset. In the next morning the strict teacher said nothing about last night and we enjoyed the rest of our summer camp. Kadri-Ann Lainde 9.a (223 words)
Estonians... Estonia is quite a northern country and therefore Estonians may seem a bit peculiar to ones from south, but don't be scared, they will not eat you (alive). Estonians are quite tranquilly and bottled up people - they might love or hate you and if you're not an expert will not make a difference as they didn't care at all. Rarely tend they to kiss or hug each other unless their beloved ones. So if they nevertheless do it then there's a great chance you're dealing with some non- Estonians. But there's no reason for worrying- if a person is from a region where that kind of over-loving-behaviour is common and he or she

For example I am very curious and I never settle with what's right in front of me. I always want to see more and to do that you also have to be very determined and brave. I wanted to see more from the Looking-Glass world than just the livingroom and after I was offered the chance to become a queen I did not once give up on the long trip to the Eighth Square. Even when I had to enter the wood where things don't have names alone. I was a bit scared but I kept on going! Oh! And that reminds me! I do love my name and I am so glad it came back to me! I'm quite sure that if I had received a new one it would have not fit me at all. Not that I'm trying to praise myself but I think I'm quite kind hearted and polite too. I try not to hurt anyone's feelings and be kind to others. It breaks my heart when I'm told that the Bread-and-Butterflies die if they don't find their weak tea with cream. I wish everybody could
Then it can be pumped to underground. Scientist came up with this idea because methane gas has been down there for thousands of years and it has not come up. So they expect that the CO2 won't be coming up either. To be sure of that, they are coing to make a test and drill two wells to take purified CO2, inject it into the ground and monitor the physical changes that CO2 undergoes. This technology is really new and it is unknown to people. It has not been proven yet, so people are scared and concerned about it. The biggest fear is that carbon dioxide will leak out but we don't have to be worried about that, because CO2 is everywhere around us and it is not poisonous. But still, if we have very concentrated carbon dioxide, it is hazardous and that's purpose of monitoring. Rick Russell sees no definite risk associated with the release or damage either to the surface, soils or ground water, because the type of geology they are useing, will protect the planet from this happening

I was kayaking across the ocean, when I realised I had come to a foreign land. Upon reaching the shore, I got out of my kayak and went exploring… I was walking on the beach when I suddenly noticed a tiny house in the middle of nowhere. The windows were broken and the door was open. It was made of wood and in a really bad condition. I saw the smoke coming from the chimney. I walked, scared, towards the tiny house, I was afraid to go in but I still entered. The house was really dusty. I was looking around, when suddenly a door appeared. I opened it and i was pulled in. The stair steps appeared one after another. I was really confused and at that moment I wished I had never got out of my kayak. I was walking down, when suddenly the stair steps started to get warmer and warmer

friends now. Some years later there came a boy to our class. At first everybody got along with him but suddenly the other boys didn't like him and started hassleing him. If the other boys didn't like him, almost the whole class didn't like him after. I have really no idea why, but I think that's because he had glasses or because he didn't study well. He had problems with the teacher also. I was sorry for him but I wasn't bold enough to defend him. And I think I was a little bit scared that the others may bully me too when I defend him. Sometimes I even thought that he didn't understand that he was bullyed. Now I don't communicate very much with my old classmates but I have heard that they still bully him and I don't know how it even provides fun to them any more. I thought they have grown and studied something from that. I am very lucky to not being bullied and if I see someone being bullied at school, I immediately
X", which was released in 2006. Their latest album is quite new, its name is "Life Starts Now" and it was published on the 22nd September in 2009. The album that I'm going to review is their debut album "Three days grace", which has 12 tracks on it, but if you decide to buy the deluxe version you get one extra track and acoustic versions of two tracks that are already on the CD. The songs on the album are named as follows: "Burn", "Just Like You", "I Hate Everything About You", "Home", "Scared", "Let You Down", "Now or Never", "Born Like This", "Drown", "Wake Up", "Take Me Under" and "Overrated". The extra track on the deluxe version is named "Are You Ready?" and the two acoustic versions are of "I Hate Everything About You" and "Drown". When I first listened to this album, I didn't like it as much as I enjoyed listening to "One- X". But as I listened to the songs repeatedly, my sympathy for this particular album grew
“When the whole world is silent, even once voice becomes powerful.” These strong words said by 16-year-old education activist Malala Yousafzai have had a big impact on people that have doubted themselves about for example starting a fundraising event or listing up as a volunteer to help people that cannot get proper education. People are often afraid of the consequences, if their attempt at enforcing change goes wrong. They are scared that they will be laughed at or talked about. There are millions of people behind us too shy to take a stand or maybe they do not have the resources so people in developed countries should speak up for them. Documentary film “Waste land” is about a project in Jardim Gramacho, one of the largest landfills in the world, to raise awareness about catadores. more drugs. Your brain starts needing it for keeping your emotions in control. There are several reasons of adopting this habit. Bad habits of youth only start here. The second I want to mention is the craze of drifting this is for boys, as boys do it in majority. Due to lack of law implementation and more of corruption in country, any young boy or girl whose parents have got good approach to law enforcing authorities of country are not scared of breaking rules. So you can not guess the limit of speed they drive there vehicles. Many accidents have been occurred because of this. You all are better familiar with what can happen because of reckless driving. Just because they are fearless of breaking laws they have no idea how dangerous they make roads for normal people. That's why even after devils point in Karachi has gotten banned for care races you can visit and see that what happens there every Saturday
Where were mum and dad? Where was my younger sister? I tried to remember where I saw them last. I couldn't think straight, I was overwhelmed with worry. I heard someone banging on the hatch. I opened it with lightning speed and I saw my sister standing there. "Why are you standing there? Come in, quickly!" I demanded. "Where were you? Where are mum and dad?" I asked anxiously. "I was in the toilet and suddenly I felt the house shaking. I called for mummy but nobody was there. I got scared so I crabbed my Teddy and run here, like I am taught to do." "You did good, you were very brave!" I praised her and gave her a comforting hug. I had to find out where my parents were. I taught my sister how to open and close the shelters' hatch and ordered her to stay there and wait for my return. Again, I swallowed the fear and run. I was headed back to the house, when I heard our dog Bingo howling in his kennel. Instantly I was on my way to save him. I took him into my arms
dressed as a vampire. "Where is John?" Ben wondered unhappily. "I can't go trick or treating alone!" Just then, a bush started to move! The leaves trembled. Ben was frightened,"Who's there?" Suddenly, a zombie jumped from behind the bush! The zombie shouted, "Boo! Guess who!" Ben knew who it was and said, "John, you silly thing. You scared me! Where have you been all this time?" Laughing, John said, "Sorry I'm late, but there was a problem with my costume. Let's go trick or treating. There'll be no candy left for us if we wait any longer." "That's okay," Ben said. "Let's get started." Ben suggested they go east first. Several houses looked promising that way, and Ben remembered that the folks in one particular house gave out great candy and were fun to visit. ."
This is something that has had me in two minds for a very long time, why does humanity waste so much time and money on sport and the pursuit of sport when realistically it is just a sideshow, a morale booster for the masses? The sheer volume of money spent each year on sports are actually absolutely ridiculous. Sports have become a monster that is beyond our control. This happens as legitimate scientific research struggles to find funding or a struggle along with tiny handouts from patronising governments around the world. Space exploration is probably the prime example in that it is now, at this stage of human development, more important than ever before that we find ways to make space inhabitable. But instead NASA has become a bit of a joke to the public and space exploration the stuff of B- grade horror movies. The question we have to ask ourselves is this, do sports stars really deserve to be paid five times the salary of a scientis...

Getting to know a new country so well is definitely not possible during a holiday or a short visit. Besides living in a new culture for a long period of time will teach you more about the culture than reading any book about it. Studying abroad is also a great way to master another language. When you suddenly find yourself immersed in a world where everyone speaks another language, you may find yourself immersed in a world where everyone else speaks another language; you may be scared out of your mind. But this wears off and before you know it you'll be fluent. An exchange student will also get more independent. When you study abroad, there is no going home to your parents, when you feel lonely or need to get your dirty laundry washed. You are on your own and as scary as this might bit, the experience of having to rely on yourself will serve you well. Also, your new school undoubtedly has courses that your old school does not. In addition,

Tom falls in love with Becky Thatcher, a new girl in town, and persuades her to get “engaged” to him. Their romance collapses when she learns that Tom has been “engaged” before—to a girl named Amy Lawrence. Shortly after being shunned by Becky, Tom accompanies Huckleberry Finn, the son of the town drunk, to the graveyard at night to try out a “cure” for warts. At the graveyard, they witness the murder of young Dr. Robinson by the Native- American “half-breed” Injun Joe. Scared, Tom and Huck run away and swear a blood oath not to tell anyone what they have seen. Injun Joe blames his companion, Muff Potter, a hapless drunk, for the crime. Potter is wrongfully arrested, and Tom’s anxiety and guilt begin to grow. Tom, Huck, and Tom’s friend Joe Harper run away to an island to become pirates. While frolicking around and enjoying their newfound freedom, the boys become aware that the community is sounding the river for their bodies
1) to act the way lady Lucas wanted 2) to gain someone, who'd take care of the household 3) to make a gift to the Bennets (following God's will). 4. What was Mrs. Bennett's utmost worry? She was one constant slanderer, so there was nothing more enjoyable nor important for her than getting her daughters married as soon as possible (and show off about it afterwards). 5. Why was Darcy's marriage proposal to Elizabeth such a struggle to him according to his words? He was scared by the propriety and the lack of manners and intelligence of the other members of the Bennets family except Jane and Elizabeth. 6. How did Darcy justify his interference with the relationship between Jane and Bingley? He never ment to do any harm, but simply assumed by a glance that Jane isn'i into Bingley as deeply as It would've been necessary for a happy marriage. 7. What words did Darcy use to describe Elizabeth's appearance at the ball where they first met?
" "You are back!" a gentle voice surprised him. The soldier turned around and saw princess Eliza, the youngest daughter of the queen, swaying at the stairs and smiling her sunny smile at him. "Your highness!" said youth and wanted to make a deep bow, but a sudden laughter stopped him. "What on earth are you doing?" asked the princess and came downstairs waving with her fan. "Oh!" she shouted then and stopped. She was staring at the baby now, whom was scared by such a sudden voice and started crying. "Could you please be a bit quieter, your highness?" whispered the man to the lady who was widely smiling now. "I'm sorry," she said and carefully she came closer to the child. The soldier hugged it tighter and soon the little one stopped its cry and smiled to the young man. "Oh how adorable!" said the princess in a low voice. She wanted to touch it as well, but wondered if it would start crying again. "But I don't get it
One year she forgot everything, except the beginning and the end, so she improvised everything in between. I was really proud of her, cause at first I thought she’s gonna freek out and run away. But she didn’t. Kids, they’re fierce. If they don’t remember anything, they’ll make it up. They’re more afraid to just stand and watch the silent crowd than to be wrong. Ken says that kids are not afrayd to be wrong. But by the time they start going to school, they are taught to be scared of being wrong. In school, the most important subjects - math, languages and humanities – are those where you don’t have enough space to be wrong in. But subjects, where you could make your wrong decisions to work for you, are in the bottom and most of the teachers, don’t care about them that much. Subjects like art, singing, dancing and so on. There’s still one thing that I don’t agree with Ken. He says that there’s no school, where kid could study arts as much as math
It's been ages since I last wrote to you, isn't it weird? Yes, so it is, but, I do have a certain reason. Do you remember Sir Thom of the Minquettes'? That fine young man with fascinating blue eyes... Oh, my sweet Mary, you will never guess what happened yesterday! It was about seven o'clock in the evening when Lillian called me out for a walk you know I can't say `no' to my little sis. Anyway we went to the forest near the Swan Lake and, believe it or not, got lost! Awful! I was so scared... We walked and walked, not even knowing the direction we were heading to, until we reached a huge mansion. And the garden around it was so extraordinary... That is something you just must see! But neither the trees nor flowers could be as wonderful as the owner himself! Sir Thom treated us tea and sandwiches, not forgetting to show us way back to the village. He was so kind, don't you think? In the end, when we had nearly reached our home, he suddenly stopped and called us to a ball
Do you remember what you felt? I remember I felt almost nothing and I never cried. When someone died, for example a granduncle, I didn't feel particularly sad, because as long as it wasn't anyone close to me, the death didn't influence my life in any way. Now a few weeks back my great-grandmother died, and even if I didn't know her and had only seen her a few times in my life, I flustered. The fact that someone I'm related to will never be here again, made me feel really scared and uncomfortable. What if it was someone really close to me? What will I do when that happens? How will I handle that? What if one day the most important person I have at that time disappears by my side? How is it even possible to handle that? Another example - when I was younger, every time something bad happened in the world, I didn't honestly care. When thousands died in 9/11 attacks, I didn't know how to react, so I didn't react at all
