Good friend is the person who gives you the better of the two choices , hold your hand when you're scared, helps you fight off those who try to take advantage of you, thinks of you at times when you are not there , reminds you of what you have forgotten, helps you put the past behind you but understands when you need to hold on to it a little longer, stays with you so that you have confidence, goes out of their way to make time for you, helps you clear up your mistakes, helps you deal with pressure from others , smiles for you when they are sad, helps you become a better person! Go get yourself a Barbie. · If you really love me, you have to love all things about me. · All I really need is somebody who will listen to my bullshit, call me out on my bullshit, & love me despite my bullshit. · When I need you, you're not there. When you need me, I'm always there in a blink. & you call yourself a good friend? Think again. · Haters want to hate & bring you down so let them waste their time & try, I'll never give them the satisfaction of seeing me upset. · Before you say "FML" (FuckMyLife) remember that there are other people out there who have it worse than you do. Before most people get to the point of being able to tell their ass from a hole in the ground they're already assholes and it's too late. 6. Concentrating on something important can make you lose track of your soap opera. 7. Debunking the bunk is everyone's responsibility. 8. Don't ask me to pay for anyone else's mistakes. Friendship

Friendship Friends are a very important part of most people's lives. Research shows that having quality relationships increases your likelihood of being happy - so it's good for your happiness to be a great friend and to have a group of close friends surrounding you too. A good friend might be someone who's there to provide support when times are tough, or someone you can rely on to celebrate a special moment with you. Friends might come and go in our life, they might make us laugh and cry, but most importantly they love us for who we are. It doesn't matter what a person looks like or what kind of clothes they wear, but it's what's on the inside that counts. It's the actions they take, no matter how big or small, to show us how much of a good friend they are, and being

CHANGE YOUR THINKING CHANGE YOUR LIFE

Advanced Coaching and Mentoring Program 268 About the Author 269 ccc_tracy_fm_i-xviii.qxd 7/7/03 3:23 PM Page xi Acknowledgments The writing of this book has taken many years of work, reading, teaching, and experience. Many people have contributed to my thinking and have been invisible guides as these chapters came to- gether. I would like to first thank my friend Mark Victor Hansen, who introduced me many years ago to Emmet Fox, perhaps the finest spiritual thinker of the twentieth century. Ernest Holmes, founder of Science of Mind, opened my eyes and heart to the incredible universe of potential contained within each person when they changed their thinking and changed their lives. Great spiritual teachers such as Charles Fillmore, Neville, Eric Butterworth, Wayne Dyer, and

you DESERVE it. - Frank Zappa *It's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. - Marilyn Monroe *I love the feeling when you smile at me, or even just look at me, because I know that I've crossed your mind. Even just for a second - Anonymous You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with. Me? I'm scared of everything. I'm scared of what I feel, of what I've said, of who I am, but most of all I'm scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my life the way I feel when I'm with you. I wish you could hear all the words I'm too afraid to say. A relationship is only made for two, but some bitches don't know how to count

TARTUFFE (inglise keelne)

Alone, wants no such wealth of fineries. CLEANTE But, madam, after all . . . MADAME PERNELLE Sir, as for you, The lady's brother, I esteem you highly, Love and respect you. But, sir, all the same, If I were in my son's, her husband's, place, I'd urgently entreat you not to come Within our doors. You preach a way of living That decent people cannot tolerate. I'm rather frank with you; but that's my way-- I don't mince matters, when I mean a thing. DAMIS Mr. Tartuffe, your friend, is mighty lucky . . . MADAME PERNELLE He is a holy man, and must be heeded; I can't endure, with any show of patience, To hear a scatterbrains like you attack him. DAMIS What! Shall I let a bigot criticaster Come and usurp a tyrant's power here? And shall we never dare amuse ourselves Till this fine gentleman deigns to consent? DORINE If we must hark to him, and heed his maxims, There's not a thing we do but what's a crime; He censures everything, this zealous carper. MADAME PERNELLE

Steve Krug-Dont Make Me Think 2014

But when I’m looking at a page that makes me think, all the thought balloons over my head have question marks in them. Thinking When you’re creating a site, your job is to get rid of the question marks. Things that make us think All kinds of things on a Web page can make us stop and think unnecessarily. Take names, for example. Typical culprits are cute or clever names, marketing-induced names, company-specific names, and unfamiliar technical names. For instance, suppose a friend tells me that XYZ Corp is looking to hire someone with my exact qualifications, so I head off to their Web site. As I scan the page for something to click, the name they’ve chosen for their job listings section makes a difference. Note that these things are always on a continuum somewhere between “Obvious to everybody” and “Truly obscure,” and there are always tradeoffs involved. For instance, “Jobs” may sound too undignified for XYZ Corp, or they may be

Aforismid

" "He who smiles rather than rages is always the stronger." "Every time a man smiles, and much more when he laughs, it adds something to his fragment of life." "It's easy enough to be pleasant when everything goes like a song, but the man who is worthwhile, is the man who can smile when everything goes dead wrong." Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important." "Smile! If you can't lift the corners, let the middle sag." This is a quote from a dear old friend of mine, Leo Daniel: "Keep a smile on your face and let your personality be your autograph." "What's the use of worrying? It never was worth while, so pack up your troubles in your old kit- bag, and smile, smile, smile." SMILE, God loves you! Would you like to improve your face value? SMILE! It works every time! "No matter how small, a SMILE on your face tells all." "Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been." "Smile at someone and find something worth laughing about.
