as well. Recently, more intensive research has been done so that countries have the information they need to prevent acid rain and its dangerous effects. The levels of acid rain vary from region to region. In Third World nations without pollution restrictions, acid rain tends to be very high. In Eastern Europe, China, and the Soviet Union, acid rain levels have also risen greatly. However, because acid rain can move about so easily, the problem is definitely a global one. He then marched on Wexford town and massacred several hundred people there. The surrounding towns of Cork, Bandon, Kinsale and Youghal surrendered. Cromwell left Ireland in 1650 having dealt a severe blow to the uprising Irish. The Cromwellian conquest of Ireland (164953) ~The Land to be paid~ A problem of equal concern to Cromwell after the Civil War, however, was the fact that most of the soldiers in the Roundhead army still needed paid for their time served in the Civil War, but Parliament had no money to give them. So Cromwell decided to pay them in land. He forcibly moved thousands of Irish from their homes in Munster and Leinster and resettled them in counties Clare, Galway, Mayo and Roscommon. 3 March 2012 Dear Jane, How are you? I haven't heard from you in a while. I am writing to tell you about my recent health problem I had food poisoning. I got it when I visited Mexico. I ate something that probably caused it. I am not really sure what it was. I had to drink plenty of fluids and rest a lot. I was down with that poisioning for two days. On the third day I could finally turn back to my normal life and start eating again. That poisoning was very terrible. I felt extremely bad and mostly I was sad about ruining my vacation. For at least two days I couldn't enjoy Mexico. That is all for now

Locke explains that even if we do not have rulers on the Earth, we have the ruler in heaven. (Wolff, 1996) Rousseau believes that it is impossible to live without the state. To opposite this belief, anarchists insist that we offer the state as a way against antisocial behaviour, but mainly they think that the state is the reason of that kind of behaviour. (Wolff, 1996) Who should rule? Which should the government be? Who should rule? There are a lot of different theories about the problem of power. Every society finds the best one for themselves. We must ask, who has the right to rule? There are several reasons how people get political power. (McLaughlin, 2010) Firstly, from nature. It means that person will get the right to rule from the moment he or she was born. This way the right is natural and legal. (McLaughlin, 2010) Secondly, from force. It means that person will get the right to rule by using force
Inimese kloonimine Miks peaks diskuteerima teemal-inimese kloonimine? Miks see peab olema kontrolli all? Miks sellel teemal üldse rääkida? Kas see on eetiline, bioloogiline või majanduslik problem? Kloonimine tähendab DNA fragmentide, rakkude või organismide geneetiliselt identsete järglaste tekitamist. Kloonimine inimese puhul jagatakse kahte ossa 1. reproduktiivne kloonimine, mille vastanduseks on 2. terapeutiline kloonimine. Reproduktiivne kloonimine tähendab tuumkloonimist uute isendite saamise eesmärgil, terapeutilise kloonimise eesmärgiks on aga geeniteraapia teostamine. Inimese kloonimine on nüüdseks saanud juba ülemaailmseks teemaks. Väga vähe
1. Kas tööheaolu on moraalne probleem ? Palun vastata 2-3 lausega. Tööheaolu on eeskätt moraalne problem, sest igal inimesel on kohustus mitte teha teistele inimestele kahju. Muidugi tööandja ei tohi teha oma töötajatele kahju, selle pärast, et tööandja vastutab, et tema töötajad saaksid minna koju oma perede juurde elusatena ja tervetena. Näiteks 2008 aasta jõustus Suurbritannia Ühendkuningriigis seadus Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007. See võimaldab rangemini karistatada tööandjaid hooletusest ja lohakusest põhjustatud tervisekahjustuste eest. 2
4/14/2019 Nimetu dokument - Google'i dokumendid Essay In todays society there`s a huge problem with waste and global warming. Many oh those problems come from us not thinking about what our actions do to the environment. Hazardous waste comes from factories that produce stuff that we really don`t need. We use private cars just to go to the supermarket but we could just take the buss or walk wich is much more environment friendly. The one that we do the most is leaving rubbish around that doesn`t turn into compost.
Dear Mr Smith, I am writing in because of a problem I have with the new neighbour, David, who has moved in downstairs. Unfortunately, his habits seems to be different than mine. The issue is that David is a musician who plays his electric guitar very late night. I understand he is in a band and needs to practice but I think he can not do this in apartment. I work in home, so for me, it is important to have silence so I can concentrate on my work. But when David is playing all the time it is unable to get any of my works done, except when he is out. Sometimes I have been forced to leave the apartment and work at the library because of the guitar playing was disturbing. I would appreciate it if you could speak to David and ask him to turn down the volume on his guitar or else to use headphones. I have spoken to him about it, but he has not listen to me. I will let you know as soon as the situation gets better. Tha...
How to deal with water shortage problems? Water covers more than 70% of the Earth's surface and it is the most valuable resource in the world. We need water to live on this planet otherwise life on Earth wouldn't be possible. Many countries suffer from water shortages. There is no fresh water for people usage. It's actually a major problem in the world but what can we do to decrease this? Firstly, people need to realise that there are many other people in the world who does not have accessibility to water. We can decrease it by not wasting water on pointless things for example long showers and watering flowers outside the house. By doing this we will economize water and it may be possible for other people to use fresh water as well. Secondly, it is really important to keep the water fresh and clean but many factories let their
(roughly USD 20 million). Sets, costumes, special effects, and cinematography were less than world-class up until the mid-to-late 1990s, although with some notable exceptions. Bollywood sold 3.6 billion tickets and had total revenues (theatre tickets, DVDs, television etc.) of US$1.3 billion, whereas Hollywood films sold 2.6 billion tickets and generated total revenues (again from all formats) of US$51 billion. Bollywood's biggest problem is piracy - where people copy the films and either sell them or show them to other people for free. At the moment not all films made make more money than they cost to make, even though they can be seen by around one billion people.

The inescapable fact is that the conditions in big farms, especially in factory farms, are unacceptably bad. Recent proof of that was the Põima farm case in Estonia were 260 cows are starving. Animals are wet because of their own excrements, some spots on their body are furless, their bones poke out from their skin and they can hardly stand up. What is more, they do not have food or litter, so they lie on cold cemented floor that is covered with dung. This problem is not actual only in Estonia. Also the reality of Finnish factory farming was recently revealed. Producers arguments as there are severe problems related to intensive farming abroad and animals in Finland are treated properly, were more than doubt filling. That is why there was conducted an inquiry to investigate the real conditions in Finnish farms. During the investigation 21 Finnish broiler farms, 60 pig factories and 20 egg were visited during a year-long period between 2006 and 2007
How to Write a Design Report Summary A design report is the written record of the project and generally is the only record that lives once the design team disbands at the end of the project. The report has three sections. The first section describes the problem that was being solved and provides the background to the design. The second section describes the design and the third section evaluates how well the design worked by comparing its performance to the design requirements. The report starts with a short executive summary that contains a synopsis of the three sections. The body of the report is relatively short. Appendices to the report contain supporting information with the details needed by a reader who wishes to fully understand the design
The most pressing environmental issues in Estonia The earth is considered as one of the most beautiful planets in the Universe. Unfortunately, our planet is suffering due to many problems which should be solved before it is too late. Of course our country is not an exception. The major problems that are facing our country today are air and water pollution and recycle problem. Also we have, for example, deforestation problem and traffic jams, for instance, in Tallinn in rush-hour. Nevertheless, those problems are not so significant than previous. One of the biggest problems in Estonia is air and water pollution. One example of air pollution is exhaust fumes. Today we have a lot of transport: cars and buses, in the main in our capital. Gases which are produced by cars contain carbon dioxide. This carbon dioxide in the air causes global warming, which is the result of the green house effect
For example, cinema complexes, football ground and theatres are cleaned up but such areas as parks and streets are neglected. But people don't think that litter can be dangerous. It can especially be dangerous when it involves items such as broken glass, needles and syringes. Litter can get into the drainage system and block it. Litter scattered all over the city. Makes it look ugly. And it usually costs a lot of money to clean up the city every year. But the biggest problem is municipal dumps, because they cause environmental pollution. Most of the municipal dumps are filled with plastic bags, different wrapping, shopping bags and supermarket bags. We can also see empty cans from different drinks, broken glass and others. These items don't decompose naturally. They can stay on the soil for many years and contaminate the ground. Municipal dumps are created in the outskirts of the city. People who live near suffer from such neighbourhood
Modern issues It's 21st century, and we still have many issues, that need to be solved. Of course we can't solve all the problems. It is impossible, but at least we should give our best to try to solve these important modern issues. One of the biggest issues is access to clean water. 1st and 2nd world countries may not or don't have that problem at all, but access to a clean water is a serious issue for 3rd world countries. 3rd world countries might have an access to water, but not to clean water. It is important to have a clean water, because there are a lot of dangerous diseases in dirty water. It's a problem, which needs to be solved as quickly as possible. Another problem is an access to good food. About 21,000 people die every day of hunger, or hunger-related causes. This is one person every four seconds

On 6 October 2018 I bought iPhone 8 Plus from your iDeal store which is in Lõunakeskus shopping center. Unfortunately, your product has not performed well because the camera of iPhone 8 Plus do not take pictures and I cannot open the camera app it is black all the time. I am disappointed because I bought new phone and it does not work properly. If I buy new things from store then I believe that these things should work, because I paid to get properly working device. To resolve the problem, I would appreciate if I can get my money back or I would get new device which works properly. I hope that I do not have to pay more money because the problem was not my fault. I look forward to hearing from you and a resolution to my problem. Please contact me at the email address or by phone. Yours sincerely, MKask Marie Kask
Addictions Business English Marion Soomre 10.b What is addiction? The term "addiction" is used in many contexts to describe an obsession, compulsion, or excessive physical depence or psychological dependence, such as: drug addiction, video games, crime, alcoholism, compulsive overeating, problem gambling, computer addiction, pornography, etc. Drug addiction Drug addiction is widely considered a pathological state. The disorder of addiction involves the progression of acute drug use to the development of drug-seeking behavior, the vulnerability to relapse, and the decreased, slowed ability to respond to naturally rewarding stimuli. Video game addiction Video game addiction, or more broadly video game overuse, is excessive or
Another useful suggestion would be to plant trees. In this way we can increase the source of breathable oxygen. Unfortunately, many companies are contributing to deforestation. Finally, it would help if we put taxes on carbon emissions or higher taxes on gasoline. In this way people and companies will have greater incentives to conserve energy and pollute less. In conclusion, there are many ways to pollute the air less. We all have to do whatever we can to solve this major problem. As Shimon Peres said “If a problem has no solution, it may not be a problem.”
Every year, more and more animals are facing extinction. In order to protect endangered species, what can we about this problem? One way of solving the problem is to protect wildlife habitats as the best way to protect endangered species is to protect the places they live in. In addition to this, wildlife must have a place to find food and shelter from the weather. Logging, oil and gas drilling, over-grazing and real estate development have all resulted in the destruction of these habitats, which must be minimized as much as possible. Another way to solve the problem is to stop buying products that are made from animal skin

cultures. Despite the fact that living in New York is a big financial struggle you can still have a lot of fun on budget. Furthermore, there are a lot of shops in New York which are open 24 hours a day, so everything is at your fingertips. On the other hand, there is a lot of pollution and noise in the Big Apple, but I think it's acceptable for a hudge city like New York. Besides the pollution and noise, there is a much bigger problem in the Big Apple and that problem is crime. It's becoming a dangerous place to live, but the clampdown on crime has improved the city tremendously. The agressive nature of New Yorkers is also a problem peole are pushing you out of the way on the subway or in the street. So there are both positive and negative aspects to live in the Big Apple, and if you are thinking of living there you need to weigh up the pros and cons.
Global warming means that the temperature keeps going higher. The world is now warmer than at any time since the last Ice Age. The problem of desertification increases every year. More and more fertile areas become useless. Seas, lakes and other bodies of water dry out. One reason why the global warming is happening is that the population is growing and we need to do more work so everyone can feel themselves comfortable. They have enough to eat, new clothes, warm house and so on. Some areas become uninhabitable so people have to move around and maybe even fight for something. For example for clean water.
Philippe is a guadriplegic and has to be taken are of. During this job, Driss and Philippe develope a friendship and become very good friends. In this movie there are also a lot of problems. The first one is poverty. Driss' family is very poor and his mother has to work very long hours to get enough money to feed all of the children. Because of mother's long work one of her sons starts getting along with the wrong people and gets in trouble with the police. The second problem will be Driss' and his mother's relationships. Driss has been gone for six months and then comes back home. His mother is very angry at him and tells his to go away. Driss tries to explain, but won't listen and sends him away. This problem would be solved by talking things through. Third problem is growing up too fast. Driss has a younger sister and since her mother works very long, she has to take care of her little sisters and brothers, who all have to be fed and bathed.
Good afternoon. My name is Siiri Paurson. And I will be speaking today about OVERFISHING. I will be speaking for about 10 minutes. I’ll be pleased to answer any questions you may have at the end of the presentation. INTRODUCTION: What is overfishing? What is causing overfishing? Why is overfishing a problem? Fishing down the food web. What can we do to help? WHAT IS OVERFISHING?: Overfishing can be defined in a number of ways. However, everything comes down to one simple point: Catching too much fish for the system to support leads to an overall degradation (degrödašon) to the system. Overfishing is a non-sustainable use of the oceans. WHAT IS CAUSING OVERFISHING?: Worldwide, fishing fleets are two to three times as large as
People displaced from the tasks in the old pie could find tasks to do in the new pie instead. But technological progress doesn't just make the pie bigger. It also changes the ingredients in the pie. As time passes, people spend their incomes in different ways. New industries are created and new tasks have to be done. It often said that those who forget about the helpful side of technological progress, are committing something known as the lump of labor fallacy. Now the problem is that the lump of labor fallacy is itself a fallacy. Imagine a dock worker who had begun to use a machine to make washers, the small metal discs that fasten on the end of screws. And this dock worker felt guilty for being more productive. Asked why, he said "I know I'm doing wrong. I'm taking away the work of another man." In his mind there was some fixed lump of work to be divided up between him and his pals. But the lump of work wasn't fixed
Now why do we bollocks up in the first place? The answer lies in you, yourself have to find out why did you fail and what can be learned from it. Frequent failing can cause sadness, depression and lack of motivation but it's not the way to go if you want to succeed in life and become a better you. It's better to understand your mistakes and learn from them to expand your knowledge rather to get everything right and stay on elementary level of problem solving. To fail or not to fail, that is the question. To everyone who state they've never felt failure, first of all, remember when you missed the bus or burnt a meal, tripped over something or got an F in school, they are all but backslides. Secondly if you've never failed you have yet been successful to learn anything in this life. My point is: it's better to fail than do everything right instantly, because when you miss your opportunity you can re-evaluate and do better next time
The Crucial Problems of the World There are many problems in the world right at this time. One of the biggest and maybe the one which people talk about the most is the waste and recycling problem. As we all know, humankind is producing more waist than we can handle, reproduce and recycle. Even in here, Estonia, people are thinking of building a nuclear power station, because fossil fuel is soon depleted. The other problem, a little bit connected to the first one, is the greenhouse effect. The light from the Sun reaches us and after that the light reflexes from the Earth's surface back to the space, but thanks to the pollution, it absorbs and reflexes back to us again, causing global warming. The third problem is the fastly growing population. There are now more than 7 milliard people in the world and the number is still getting bigger. That leads us to the overcrowded cities, poverty and hunger.
"People these days are thinking less and drinking more'' Nowadays, alcoholism is rising and this is a big problem not only amongst teenagers but also amongst adults. When there is a problem or a difficult situation people do not think how can they solve it. They think, "Where is my bottle of vodka?'' There are several possible solutions to this problem. What clearly needs to be done is to encourage people to handle their problems without using alcohol. Firstly, we have to teach them that thinking clearly is more effective than thinking with an alcohol bottle. Secondly, we should tell them that they have got supportive friends whom they can rely on. Another suggestion is that the media should not promote drinking. Commercials are very effective with teenagers because commercials are very colourful and memorable. Also, when
Rain man The movie concentrates on two brothers and their dysfunctional relationship. One brother, Raymond, is autistic and no one seems to understand what it really is that they are dealing with. The other brother, Charlie, is greedy and selfish, at least in the beginning of the movie. Somehow that changes as the film evolves. The main problem in this movie is greed. Charlie only cares about money. When he finds out that his estranged father had left his inheritance to someone else, he gets mad. That is the reason why he took Raymond from the institution where he was living. He wanted to take the money from his brother even when he realised that there was something wrong with him. At least he came to his senses in the end. The second problem revolves around Raymond and his disability. No one understood what he was going through
Research INTERNET ADDICTION This study set out with the aim of assessing the negative effects of computer addiction in life. The results of this study show that the Internet may become a problem when it absorbs too much of your time, causing you to neglect your relations, your work, school, or other important things in your life. Surprisingly, computer addiction covers a variety of impulse-control problems including cybersex addiction, cyber-relationship addiction, net compulsions, information overload and Internet addiction. These findings supports the importance of the Internet addiction. Many people turn to the Internet in order to manage unpleasant feelings such as stress,
the Earth will become uninhabitable. People cannot change the past but their actions affect the future. One of the ways how people are affecting the lives of future generations is increasing pollution. Clean air and water are the most valuable resources, but they are getting more and more polluted. For example the air in China is so polluted that people need to wear masks. The pollution of water kills hundreds of thousands of water animals and birds. Some of the big companies have accepted the problem and are taking action. For example McDonald`s and Burger King are not using plastic straws anymore. Second thing that affects the life on Earth is overpopulation. The estimated population in 2050 is near 10 billion. Population growth also raises overconsumption. People are encouraged to consume by companies and their commercials. The problem is that humans are consuming more than the Earth can regenerate. The exhaustible resources are running out. And with the
Global warming The problem of desertification increases every year. More and more fertile areas become useless. Seas, lakes and other bodies of water dry out. Desertification does not only have an effect on the dry areas but also influences the areas that aren't haunted by the lack of water and land. Desertification has an effect on all of us. It slows down the development of agriculture or puts a total stop to it. The poor living conditions of developing countries drive people to search food somewhere else.
Environmental issues in Estonia The Earth is considered to be the most beatiful planets in the Universe. But our planet is threaten by environmental problems. Even a small country like Estonia can make difference. Our capital city is fighting against air pollution. But people produce much refuse and ways of recycling are getting old. Water pollution is also a problem in Estonia. We have factories that let their waste run into rivers. One of the biggest problems in Estonia is air pollution. Our air is polluted by exhaust fumes, because today we have a lot of cars, buses and other machines. In 2009 we had 407 cars to thousand inhabitants, which is lower than European Union average, but this number is still high. Because cars produce gases that contain carbon dioxide. This carbon dioxide in the air

affirms the rule. And in Britain, you can find a lot of exceptions. The second thing which also amused me was the humiliation of other people for unjustified reasons. The scene of a transsexual lady, feeling sick and puking in the teacup was a perfect example of humiliation in nowadays just in different context. It is a real problematic topic every single country and it only gets worse. Actually it is quite sad that people are only laughing at it, ignoring the problem whether they see it or not. But as to look from the other side then it is good that even if people haven't noticed it yet, then maybe the problem comes out from making fun of it? Maybe NOW people really notice that, yes, we have a problem here. And maybe that forces people to find solutions. But that's only my imaginary. The third thing which caught my attention was the scene where a disabled lady named Ann was working in the library, trying to help people and lend out the books. I find it
Dear Sir, The report describes the problem of student transport. In order to prepare this report we interviewed students from all parts of college. According to students we spoke to, the car park is used by a lot of visitors and year by year more students have more cars. Not surprisingly, the car park becomes full and there are not enough possibilities to leave car. The second problem is that the buses often run late and are always full. The majority of students cannot afford the taxi fare from home to college. Some of them are unwilling to go on foot, because they are living far from college. The most realistic solution is to improve the bus service, writing to bus company. As a result good public transport will reduce the number of private cars. The second decision is to raise the price of car parking and extend it into the sports field.

Drug addiction is just a habit, like smoking or biting your nails. Drug users can give up if they want to. INTRODUCTION The drug problem in my town is very big problem. The older people do not know that, but I know it, because some of my friends do drugs. Drugs in my town are highly available everywere and almost from every person who do drugs. ARGUMENTS AGAINST Actually I do not think that doing drugs is just a habit like smoking or biting nails. It is addiction. When people are going to do drugs, then they may never come out of this trouble. They are just going to do it, and they can not stop it easily. It is not as simple as some people
unforgettable experience and it also broadens your mind. Secondly, you might get a better job. Young people often move away from their homeland, because they think that they might get a better education, if they study in a well-known university. Finally, you can find a lot of new friends. However, for every plus there is a minus. The main disadvantage is that you might start feeling homesick, because you have left all your relatives and friends behind. Culture shock can also be a problem. It might not be so easy to get used to local traditionds and customs. Moreover, the language barrier might be a huge problem. In conclusion, I think that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Although it depends very much on the person, who emigrates, it seems to me that in general emigration is a good thing.
Environmental problems today Nowadays we need to stand face to face against the environmental problems in spite of our everyday routine, that may affect the nature. Which are the most problematic environmental problems and how can we avoid them ? To start with, the biggest problem is global warming. The temperature is rising due to air pollution, which is caused by smoke from factories and of rising levels of CO2 . As a result, smog and soot causes health problems. Also, a big problem is deforestation. Due to the fact that it is causing destruction of the rainforest, it contaminates the water. To solve these problems, we certainly should use renewable sources of energy and we need to avoid dangerous gases. For example, we should switch off lights every time when we leave a room. Moreover, we should take public transport more often and stop using CFC's. We can solve environmental problems only if we follow certain rules.
