Future Simple

Future Simple We use will + infinitive To predict events, for example to say what we think will happen in the future, using the verbs think, believe etc, the expressions be sure, be afraid etc, and the adverbs probably, possibly, perhaps, certainly etc.  Flora will win on Saturday.  I don’t think the test will be very difficult.  Ask her again. Perhaps she’ll change her mind. To make an offer and a request (ask somebody to do something).  Wait, i’ll carry the bag for you.  Will you hold the dooropen for me, please? To make a decision at the moment of speaking and make a promise.  It’s cool in here. I’ll shut the window.  I’ll phone you in the evening, I promise. NOTE We can use shall instead of will with I and we. But in everyday speech, we normally use the short forms I’ll and we’ll.

Money is not the Most Important Thing in Life

Money is Not the Most Important Thing in Life One of the main idea of today's busy and hectic lifestyle is to get more and more money and posessions, achieve higher goals, while the important aspects in life are often forgotten or less valued. However, the saying that you cannot buy everything, is not just a nugatory phrase. There are things in life which are a lot more precious than money could ever buy. Perhaps the modern world enables the material thinking. The constant commercials, for instance, in bus stations, saying "the one who has more things when he/she dies is the winner", are good ways to brainwash people. That is why crowds rush to supermarkets and malls, when some ''shopping rally'' is announced to buy. By doing that, people start neglecting the valuable immaterial substance. From the point of view of the individual, money is vital for survival. Western society is

alchemy. The most renowned goal of alchemy is the transmutation of any metal into gold or silver. Also they tried to create universal panacea. It's a remedy that would cure all diseases and prolong life indefinitely. The philosphper's stone was the key in these goals. This mythical substance could just as well be powder or liquid. Alchemy is considered as the precursor of the modern science of chemistry. The Philospher's stone is perhaps best known in Britain through the best-selling book and movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone. But its origins go back thousands of years to ancient world. In those times a philospher was a secret wizard and a powerful sage. But what exaclty is a philospher's stone? To begin with its not actually a stone at all. It's not a solid rocky substance but a compound substance. That would have been kind of a liquid or jem

Priorities of Estonian History

It should be one Estonian historical research's greatest priorities to distance itself from this, to seek after holistic, balanced accounts of the past. Early chronicles of Estonian history illustrate this diversity of perspective. Johann Renner, a Baltic German, held his own people in high esteem, deeming them the people of God. He implied this when he wrote that God would save His people from the hand of Gog. He seems to indicate that Gog was the Muscovite people. Perhaps the Muscovite people truly were vicious towards Baltic peoples, but perhaps not. Whatever the case, his biases colored his writing, likely distorting the truth as to how things actually were and how events actually happened.1 The same can be said of chronicles written by German B. Russow, who praised Swedish rule, and D. Fabricius, a Catholic Pole who favored Polish rule and rendered a Polish perspective of history.

Weather forecast

This is because the weather report is screened after the news, which can vary in length. The weather forecaster doesn't always know how much time is avail-able, which means that he/she has to be thoroughly prepared so that the material can be adapted to the time available. Another related complication is that the weather forecast has to be a live broadcast; it cannot be pre-recorded. Live shows are very nerve-racking for the presenter because almost anything can go wrong. Perhaps the most worrying aspect for every weather forecaster is getting the following day's predictions wrong. Unfortunately for them this is not 34 an unusual occurrence; the weather is not always possible to predict accurately. The weather is a national obsession in Britain, perhaps because it is so changeable. It's the national talking point, and most people watch at least one daily bulletin. It can be mortifying

Choosing Cultivars Some cultivars perform better than others, but it is difficult to predict which will grow best in a particular garden. Perhaps the best way to decide which cultivars to grow is to find out what works well for neighbours or local commercial growers. Before planting strawberries in a large area it’s good to try several promising cultivars Some cultivars that perform well: • Earliglow—perhaps the best-flavored cultivar, it is among the earliest to ripen. • Northeaster—ripens about the same time as Earliglow. It is resistant to red stele and does well on heavier clay soils

Some of them are unwilling to go on foot, because they are living far from college. The most realistic solution is to improve the bus service, writing to bus company. As a result good public transport will reduce the number of private cars. The second decision is to raise the price of car parking and extend it into the sports field. Perhaps it will take some time and extra money, but it will solve the majority of our transport problems. Yours sincerely, xxx

One of the earliest known serial killers was Gilles de Rais, who terrorized his community in the 15th century. The man "raped, mutilated, and murdered an estimated 150 children (though some estimates put that number over 800)" over the course of about 20 years (4). He was executed in 1440 as perhaps one of the world's earliest serial killers. I mentioned Jack the Ripper earlier as perhaps one of the most famous historical serial killers. His exploits in 19th century London were the basis for a surge in public interest into serial killing. In the 1920s there were two films based on stories of serial killing. Essay You can never have too much money

I have often heard people say that they can never have too much money. Money is definitely very important in our society. Also it is often said that money changes people. It is obvious that it changes how people look, but what is more important, is that wanting more and more money changes people’s values. There is nothing wrong with wanting a little bigger salary, more money from parents and so on, but you must remember that you can not be greedy and selfish. Perhaps people should pay more attention on things that do not cost, for example friendship. Money usually brings people happiness since you have the ability to buy food on your table and a roof above your head, however it takes time and energy to earn it. You may get tired, stressed and eventually it might cause other problems. Therefore I think that when you have money and you know how to use it the right way, then you can never have too much of it. How to save fresh water?

How to save fresh water? We all know what the problem is. Our lakes are dirty, people are wasting water for no reason not understanding how important it is not to waste it because we may soon run out of fresh water. It can seem like there's no solution, but there is! A few simple changes can help a lot. First of all, it is really important to keep our lakes clean, because nature is the premier source of fresh water. So people should stop dropping garbage into the lakes or near them. And walking pets near the lakes is also not such a good idea. It's not very nice to find some animal's body wastes while going to swim. Secondly, think about how much water you use. A few simple steps could save your money and help protect the environment. For example you should prefer shower to bath or you should turn the water off while brushing your teeth. Finally, people who work in agriculture, should start collecting rainwater to water their f...

More officers means more people will certainly get help and feel safe again, which is the most important. Also criminals cannot accomplish crimes, because they definitely do not want to be caught. Secondly, we have to establish tougher sentences for those who commit crimes. First reason being is they will sit longer in prison. Second reason: delinquent will think before he does something. For intance murderer will get death penalty or perhaps some burglar will do community service for long hours. Another option is to teach children not to take a evil road. It takes time, but everything comes down to mind and thoughts. Specialist will give lectures about problem anticipation to parents, children. We have to give them education which will prevent them from doing offences. To conclude, we have many options, which we can start using now. For now we can use temporary or long lasting choice. After finishing secondary school you can take two choices. Whether you are going to work or study at the university. Now I would like to talk about their positive and negative sides. Firstly, I'd like to speak about going to work. Many people after finishing secondary school are going to work. One reason for this is that people have different abilities. Not everybody is suitable for university. The second reason is that perhaps they don't want to spend a lot of time on academic education. They are interested in particular profession which doesn't need an academic degree and want to move on with their life. Positive sides are that people can earn money and grow up faster. Negative sides are that it's not easy to get a job if doesn't have an education. Employees tend to prefer employers who have a good education and work experience. The second choice is to go to university after finishing secondary school

But what about service vechicles and public trasnport ? These will be still allowed. This will be the fastest way to travel in citycenter. I also tought so. Perhaps You have some more good ideas ? Let me think... Yes, I do. Speak ,Jana, I´ll listen and write them also down. I think, city should build a big parking house or parking lots near to citycenter, where people let their cars and move along on foot or with public transport. Maybe also there should be such place, where You can lend a bike . That´s great idea. With this method, the air in citycenter would be much more fresh. And also people will never be late to work or school.

Mozart and his father Mozart was lucky to have a an experienced musician as a father. Leopold immediately recognised the potential in Wolfgang. He dedicated his life to supporting his son’s talent. Despite, or perhaps because, of their different characters, Wolfgang and Leopold Mozart were dependent on each other. For the remainder of his life, when Wolfgang had been working and living with his wife Constanze in Vienna for a considerable period of time, Leopold Mozart continued a dialogue with his son by writing letters.  Moving to Vienna Wolfgang left home for good in 1781. The move almost certainly aided Wolfgang's musical development; the great majority of

There should be compulsory school subjects. Students should be allowed to choose the subjects they want to study. Do you agree?

There should be compulsory school subjects. Students should be allowed to choose the subjects they want to study. Do you agree? Essay There are many different subjects in school. Most of them are compulsory. Students have to learn them, even if they are not interested. Perhaps they should be allowed to choose subjects that they want to study. On one hand I think that subjects shoudn't be compulsory in high school because peolple should concentrate on the subjects that will be useful for them in the future. For example: for a person who wants to study Polish philology, maths and physics may not be important. Students should be given the opportunity to take their future into their own hands. So choosing a subject for

About 30 millions African Americans live in the USA.They are the descendants of Africans brought to America as slaves in the 17th century. For them the USA is a kind of melting pot , where they have become Americans. Others have kept their traditions and culture , so for them their new homeland is like a salad bowl. But perhaps it is better to say that the population of the United States is like a pizza , where we can see different bits and pieces , but together they make something much bigger.

Other writers of the time would complete entire novels before serial publication commenced, but Dickens often wrote his in parts, in the order in which they were meant to appear. His writing style was florid and poetic, with a strong comic touch. He satired of British aristocratic snobbery Dickens is famed for many things--his depiction of the hardships of the working class, his intricate plots, his sense of humour. But he is perhaps most famed for the characters he created. His novels were heralded early in his career for their ability to capture the everyday man on paper and thus create a memorable character to whom readers could relate, and envision as a real person. BLEAK HOUSE (1853) belongs to Dickens's greatest works of social criticism. The novel is built around a lawsuit, the classic case of Jarndyce, which affects all who come into contact with it.

Symbols of Estonia

The Barn Swallow has been the national bird of Estonia since 23 June 1960. National stone Estonian national stone is the country's valuable grey limestone. Estonia lies on a thick layer of limestone which is visible on the steep banks of northern and western Estonia. Most castles, churches, farm buildings, and countless stone fences are made of limestone. Research on limestone and its well-preserved fossils has for centuries brought Estonian scientists international renown. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why numerous scientists supported the declaration of limestone as the national stone of Estonia. Cornflower Grey limestone Barn swallow

Catholicism hasn't replaced Native American customs and religion so much as claimed its own jurisdiction within those customs, perhaps the Catholic God isn't entirely responsible for everything around them at the reservation. 8. Present Sister Leopolda. How is she different from other nuns? What is her attitude to Indians? Perhaps she is sent to test her Sisters' faith, here and there, like the spot-checker in a factory. In her class, Sister Leopolda carries a long oak pole for opening high windows. She uses it for catching Satan by surprise. She will see him if he enters. She has

would like to have. It would be nice to choose a baby of your own, wouldn't it ? Firstly, It depens on a persons point of wiew. For some people it's definetly wrong and demonic. Others say it would be awesome and interesting , experience of life. secondly, technology isn't ready for that, we are already changing evolution by abortion. But mayby in the future we have a choice of what kind a baby we would like. You'll never know, perhaps they will make a menu and you can select a baby of your own taste. You could choose a girl with hot body and kind heart. In addition you could make her intelligence high, make her tall and give her hobbies. I think that it may be nice to choose hair color and eye color, and even gender. But choosing whether he/she will be smart, stupid or tall is just a bit wierd for me. We'ev been living this way for a very long time and now they think they're going to change the world and everything
