I would like to join in and work with children. My name is Mari Mets and I am 18 years old. I speak Hungarian, English and Russian. I have a driving licence. Despite being 18 years old, I have organised holidays for youngsters before (2001 – Hungary; 2002 – Romania). In addition to that I have taken a course in child psychology (October – January 2000). Also, I really like children, I help with neighbour children on a regular basis. I could help with accommodation, organise games and activities, teach children various skills such as pottery, offer some help with general problems. I have some questions about the volunteer work. Where will the children be from? How long will the holidays be? What will living conditions be like? I look forward to hearing from you. Yours sincerely, M. Mets

Nowadays more and more young people have started comit petty crime and people believe that thouse can be prevented. I support this view for a variety of reasons. To start with petty crime can be prevented with teenagers, the problematical ones in particular should participate to educational courses organised by the state where they can learn everything about these petty crimes an also how to avoid getting in the middle of them. It is very important to organise this meetings in the poor districts where teenagers are prone to ilicit activities such as pickpocketing or even burglery. Another method of reducing petty crime is that the people should learn how to protect their houses and their valuable goods. They should also learn how to protect themselves by thieves in order to not become victims of this criminal activity. It is very important to make people understand that they should also protect themselves because the police can only interfere after
There are some verified ways to collect money, such as a street collection, house-to-house collection and jumble sales. A large amount of money was raised by the house-to house collection. It`s about a 40% of the whole money we got for these children. Also income from the street collection is really nice as well 30%. So, a 20% of the pie chart I made takes the jumble sale and 10% - other ways of collecting money. Overview This year it was decided to organise a fund-raising day for the charity. It was the nice and cheerful time. Many people agreed to become our volunteers this day. There were about 50 persons, mostly students from the nearest university and some my colleagues came to help us. Youngsters were wonderful! They were so enthusiastic, for example, they thought of some additional activities. We certainly add these to the programme of an event next year. Surprisingly, but just that raised the vast of money
Firstly, there are teachers at the studio, who offer tutoring for many artists. Furthermore, there are lots of necessary facilities. In addition, as the studio is located in an easily accessible area and opened around-the-clock, it is irreplaceable for lots of students. Moreover, young talents can exhibit their creations in the studio. In conclusion, it can be clearly seen that the art studio is important for many young artists, therefore we do not hesitate to even organise a protest march against closing the studio. I hope that the art department agrees and will not close donw the art studio. Yours sincerely, Mari Mets ESSAY Choices after secondary school Many young people decide to go univeristy after secondary school, while others think that going to work is a better decision. But what are the advantages of both options? To begin with, the benfits of university cannot be denied. Even today people with

S/S "Admiral" is a living example of the steamship era. She was built in 1955 in St. Petersburg (Leningrad). The organised, peaceful demonstration achieved its goal when, on April 12, the Russian Provisional Government signed the Law on Estonian Autonomy, which united the Livonian counties of Tartu, Võru, Viljandi, Pärnu and Saaremaa with Estonia. For the first time an Estonian, Jaan Poska was appointed as a Provincial Commissioner of Estonia. A six-member Provisional National Council, the Maapäev, was formed. The Maapäev appointed a national executive that began to organise and modernise local government and educational institutions. Prior to its forceful dissolution by Bolshevik authorities, and the foreseeable invasion by German forces, the Maapäev took a decisive step toward sovereignty by declaring itself the supreme authority in Estonia on November 15, 1917. Independence Proclaimed The elections to the Estonian Constituent Assembly were held on February 3-4, 1918. Parties

fifth he kept to himself. William organised the English kingdom according to feudal system. The main purpose of using that system was economic. King gave the land to "vassals" in return of army services and goods. When a noble dies, his son took over the estate. When there was no family, the land went back to king who could give it to another noble or just keep it for a few years. In 1086 he wanted to know exactly who was using his land and how much it produced so he could organise and plan economy and taxes. People called the book with all that information `the Domesday book'. And it still exists. Kingship: a family business After William's death in 1087, the land went to his elder son Robert who gave England to his son William II Rufus when he went to the holy land to fight the Muslims. When William Rufus died, he had no son to take the crown. At the time of William's death, his father was on his way back from the holy land

writers Gustav Suits, Friedebert Tuglas and others, called upon the Estonians to create European culture without any German and Russian mediation, and in creating culture, to move from the national to the universal. The members of this group sought direct contacts with Western Europe, with Romance, Anglo-Saxon and Scandinavian cultures. Especially tight relations were established with another Fenno-Ugrian nation, the Finns, who were often taken as an example of how to organise and manage the nation's cultural life. 14 | P a g e The first decade of the century saw the emergence of professional theatres in Tallinn, Tartu and Pärnu. In 1907, the Estonian Literary Society was founded, in 1909 the Estonian National Museum. But the new Estonian elite did not brush aside the old one. The Baltic German upper classes

81 While I can’t change Estonian constitution or organisational structure, I need to understand it so the things I can change fit. How to think about a country? ● Many equally feasible approaches ○ “It is a way to organise us living together“ ○ “It is a hostile entity that is not to be trusted“ ○ “It is a conduct of Gods will“ ● The domain of legal and philosophical thinkers ● Embodied, to an extent, in constitution ● Thus very hard (if at all possible) to influence ● Has a massive influence on acceptable ways the functions of a state can be executed
reclaim historical sigunificants. An important feature is blurring the line between history and fiction. To sho that history is neither absolute nor finite. And again in accordance to post- modernism it all depends on the point of view, there can be many histories. A writer who represents this genre better than anyone is E.Z Doctorow (1931-). The period is know for it's anarchist attacts. They installed bombs and tried to organise 'terrorists acts'. The real events contribute to the novel. But the title 'Ragtime' is not only about the content but also about the form. It's a caleidoscopic picture accomapnied by the vibes of ragtime. The novel has an important epigraf do not play this piece fast, it's never right to play ragtime fast. And this eograf sets the tempo and the mood of the novel which is fairly slow. The writer outlines several problems from the past which have not been solved in the present
The Estonian Music Information Centre was established as an institution at the Estonian Composers’ Union in 1995. Several novel music festivals emerged (their number increasing) among them NYYD (literally, “now”) festival, dedicated both to contemporary Estonian music and to Western compositions. It was launched in 1991 as an international event, and is now held every other year. As one of the most important venues for Estonian music, the Estonian Composers’ Union continued to organise Estonian Music Days. As for composers, there is no state purchase of their creative production as a rule. Instead of stipends, grants, scholarships and single subsidies for first performances are implemented to a limited extent. The newly organised Estonian Authors’ Society (1991) plays an essential role. Regarding literature, a lot of essays and philosophical books are being published including the series Eesti mõttelugu (History of Estonian Thought). The Estonian Book
