All these features make the climate more moderate, without striking difference between seasons. It is not very cold in winter and never very hot in summer. So, the British ports are ice-free and its rivers are not frozen throughout the year. The weather on the British Isles has a bad reputation. It is very changeable and fickle. The British say that there is a climate in other countries, but we have just weather. If you don't like the weather in England, just wait a few minutes. It rains very often in all seasons in Great Britain. Autumn and winter are the wettest. The sky is usually grey and cold winds blow. On the average, Britain has more than 200 rainy days a year

years old and I have spent all my life in a beautiful small town called Tartu. From the early age I have been interested in photography and the world in general. Photography is a pretty expensive hobby and starting with it was quite difficult in the beginning. I had to take photographs with really poor cameras and more than once I heard how somebody was laughing over me because of my uncompetitive equipment. Still I remained selfconfident and full of determination. Time passed and I had enough money to buy a bit better camera and from this point, things started to go uphills. By the present moment I have achieved good results in different competitions and I am working as a photographer for two youth magazines. I have managed to buy myselt contemporary equipment what professional photographers would be very proud. At the moment photography has compensated itself fully. The best thing about it is that I am really good at something and people respect me because of that

For now, i have finished my high school studies, but my cookery qualification studies are still going on. These amazing years, what i have spent in a world of excellence in cookery are memorable. Probably the highlight for my studies was the opportunity what i found myself trough the Internet, during my 2 year studies. I had a rare chance to do my trainee period in well-known Jamie Oliver restaurant in London. That is Jamie´s first restaurant and also a place, where very many young students are trained to give them a better future. The period spent there is something what i would never change. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Genesis 2:17 PREFACE I'd never given much thought to how I would die -- though I'd had reason enough in the last few months -- but even if I had, I would not have imagined it like this. I stared without breathing across the long room, into the dark eyes of the hunter, and he looked pleasantly back at me. Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of someone else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something. I knew that if I'd never gone to Forks, I wouldn't be facing death now. But, terrified as I was, I couldn't bring myself to regret the decision

After graduation

Mait Rõõmus Mr. Savala English 4 26 September 2013 Prompt #3 We all have to make a decision about what to do with our lives after graduating from high school. Many people start to think about it in their early years. Some of us struggle with it even after graduating. Lucky are those who have had a specific goal in mind for long enough where they can keep an eye on the target and know what they need to do and work on it right away. Aviation has always been one of my biggest intrests since the eighth grade. I became interested in it after my brother had applied to the Estonian Aviation Academy. Unfortunately he did not make it and, of course, my desire to become an air traffic controller began to increase due to my brother's failure. I have never really had a real experience in aviation. Luckily, I had a chance to be a work shadow to a

I grew up in Pittsburgh and went to college at Cornell, so I can answer for both. The weather is terrible, particularly in winter, and there's no interesting old city to make up for it, as there is in Boston. Rich people don't want to live in Pittsburgh or Ithaca. So while there are plenty of hackers who could start startups, there's no one to invest in them. Not Bureaucrats Do you really need the rich people? Wouldn't it work to have the government invest in the nerds? No, it would not. Startup investors are a distinct type of rich people. They tend to have a lot of experience themselves in the technology business. This helps them pick the right startups, and means they can supply advice and connections as well as money. And the fact that they have a personal stake in the outcome makes them really pay attention. Bureaucrats by their nature are the exact opposite sort of people from startup investors.

(W. Shakespeare) There lie more answers beneath these poetical phrases than one could ever give when describing a textbook just like the actors, we seek for knowledge without really finding it until we've finished the play. Every written piece of paper is something precious it contains information that can either make our day or totally ruin the mood; that's the secret of all books. They have the power to change the world up-side down. The English textbook given to us this year is something we must carefully treasure after all, there are going to be more people next year either to praise or suffer from it. But not the emotions count at the moment, the future does we must all learn from this wonderful book that wit is not easily gained, however once it's collected, it'll be never lost again. We don't want to get bad grades and we choose not to show up. Maybe it's better not to give homework, like they do in Finland. Yesterday, I had 9 lessons. I got home at 5 o'clock and my mom was already home. When I walked in the door, she asked: ,,Wow, how did you get home so early, weren't you supposed to have lessons til 6?" And I actually was supposed to have lessons until 6, but the teacher was also tired from that exhausting day and let us go early. Even then, my mom got home from work an hour before me and we left home at the same time. Then I grabbed a bite and quickly started studying, because there was so much homework to do. After that, I was supposed to go training but I was so beat from all that studying that I just couldn't make it. I can imagine how many people have to cancel training to sit at school or how they have to skip school because they want to be someone, someone successful at what they love. It's not just on Mondays that we have school ridiculously late

They encouraged me in my disire of choosing my future career. School meant a lot to me and it wasn't just learning and studying. I had made good friends there and met many interesting people. I faced a new life without school with a mixed feeling of sadness and joy. I had asked myself a lot of times what I wanted to be when I left school. A few years ago it was difficult to give a definite answer. As the years passed I changed my mind several times. But it was only in my last year at school that I finally made up my mind what profession I would most like to have in future. I realized that my strongest desire was to continue specializing in humanities and learn foreign languages in particular. I hope my dream will come true. If I fail in my exams I'll try to enter the University again. And now a few words about my inclinations. I haven't got any special hobby, like collecting something but I'm fond of reading books

After I've said what I think about each topic, readers may have a fair comprehension of my philosophy. First comes sensitivity. If a person be insensitive, be it from numbing cold, exhaustion, drugs, genetic makeup, or upbringing, then the process of education is bogged down, and results come only after great efforts. Sensitivity in my integrated meaning is broad, covering literally the senses, so that deaf and blind people are less sensitive, as well as people whose senses work perfectly, but whose receptivity or thought processes are blunted for whatever reason. A person can be insensitive in one way, such as blind, and extraordinarily sensitive in another way, such as in hearing. It is also possible to be so ultra-sensitive that the result is disadvantageous. I expect no argument in asserting that a normal sensitivity is a healthy, indispensable ingredient for optimal education. Sensitivity can be heightened or blunted by education

But Kate Hilpern discovers that plenty of help is at hand Some of the jobs that career changers are most keen to break into PR and teaching, among them are the very same jobs that people are queuing to get out of, says John Lees, author of How to Get a Job You'll Love and Take Control of Your Career. Some of us will make radical changes, while others will move to the edge of their comfort zone, perhaps shifting from acupuncturist to homeopath or PR office to journalist. I think that travelling is good for you, becouse you can see all other culttrues, then you could to broaden you horizons and don't forget that you can rest from work, school and just relax. If I could choose a place to travel, anywhere in the world, then It would be The United States of America like e.g Miami, California etc. Education I went to school when I was 7 years old. Gruaduated Gümnaasiumi 9th grade. Then I went to ***** ***** Gümnaasium'isse, for one year, and I diden't like it there so I left. And I decided to go to Tallinna Industrial Educational Center(THK). The reason why I chose THK was becouse I like the speciality.
