How To Get Better Grades

HOW TO GET BETTER GRADES To get better grades you have to learn everything and to be careful not to miss anything. In school you have to listen to everything your teacher says and you have to do your homework. Homework has to be done everyday and it has to be checked, because in your home your parents can check your homework for mistakes. When you are at school you have to be prepared and be ready to answer any questions that teachers could ask you. If you have something not done or forgot to do something, then you have to apologise to the teacher and it has to be done for the next day. The main key to success is paying attention in class, listening to every word your teacher says and to do your homework very good.

First Conditional: A real possibility in the future A First Conditional sentence is for future actions dependent on the result of another future action or event, where there is a reasonable possibility of the conditions for the action being satisfied. Formation: if + present simple, + will For example: If she gets good grades, she will go to university. We are talking about the future, but we use a present tense for the condition and will for the result. In this case, the person is sure about going to university. We can use other modal verbs in the result part of the sentence. For example: I Condition Result Possibility F she gets good she will go to If the condition is met, then she definitely If grades, university

United States and Estonian education systems Essee inka.

School year usually ends in may or june. First difference between Estonian school system and USA's is that children attend school at the age of 5-6, but in Estonia children go to school at the age of 7-8. Before going to school american children attend preschool (selectively). Years 5-6 american children attend kindergarden, which is a preparation for the first grade. Most children enter the public education system around ages five or six. Children are assigned into year groups known as grades, beginning with preschool, followed by kindergarten and culminating in twelfth grade. The American educational system comprises 12 grades of study over 12 calendar years of primary and secondary education before graduating and becoming eligible for college admission. After pre-kindergarten and kindergarten, there are five years in primary school (normally known as elementary school). After completing five grades, the student will enter junior high

Education Estonian Style

Education Estonian Style Until the age of 7 you usually go to kindergarten, which means that you obtain preschool education. In grades 1-9 you obtain basic education. In grades 7-9 in addition to obtaining basic education, it is possible for you to get prevocational training in basic school. For persons without basic education who have passed the minimum school-leaving age (17 years) it is possible to continue their education in vocational schools on vocational training programmes (within 0,52,5 years one obtains vocational skills) or in upper-secondary schools for adults. If you have basic education, then you have choices to continue your studies:

They normally attend 12 grades of study over 12 calendar years of primary and secondary education before graduating, earning a diploma that makes them eligible for admission to higher educationhigher education. Stress in the lives of young people today

Stress in the lives of young people today A lot of young people nowadays stress about various number of things. Whether it’s grades in school, appearance, relationships or future life in general, they all worry young people and impact their everyday life. One of the biggest stress factors are probably school, grades and future. Often students find themselves lacking knowledge to pass a subject or are too lazy to attend classes at all. This leads to a big amount of stress which they only have themselves to blame for. The best way to avoid this kind of stress would be studying hard and attending all classes. Young people also stress about the future a lot, they’re not sure where to study next or what to study. They’re also not sure whether they’re able to live an independent life or find a decent job.

Skills

those qualities would be the best thing to be almost unstoppable. Having the important skills, the best motivation you can think of and the attitude what cannot be crushed, would make anyone unbeatable. It might take a lot of time to achive the goals but trying to get to there where wanting to be will not stop it. Skills without motivation is nothing, same goes to motivation and attitude. There are some very open-minded employers out there who look beyond academic transcipts and grades and if they can see you are motivated to learn what needs to be done and have the right attitude then they might just be willing to give you a go. But you must be able to show just how willing you are when you speak to or meet your potential new employer for the first time. If you can use all of these 3 qualities then there ise a high propability that there is a bright future ahead of you. If you know how to use all of those abilities then having a successful life

To Be Human Is To Discuss

grades, so that parents don't kick us out and still give us food and shelter. How to motivate ourselves to come here every single morning and really study, not just sit with your phone out and watch videos or do something not related to studying to keep from dying of boredom? I think that the main reason students skip class is that they just don't want to sit around for 45 minutes. Another reason, I know that from my own experience, is undone homework. We don't want to get bad grades and we choose not to show up. Maybe it's better not to give homework, like they do in Finland. Yesterday, I had 9 lessons. I got home at 5 o'clock and my mom was already home. When I walked in the door, she asked: ,,Wow, how did you get home so early, weren't you supposed to have lessons til 6?" And I actually was supposed to have lessons until 6, but the teacher was also tired from that exhausting day and let us go early. Even then, my mom got

But there are few things I would like to ask you. Firstly, I was wondering about the accommadition possibilites, what it would be like, and are there any extra fees I should be avare of? And, secondly, what are the requierments and procedures to enter the school? I hope this information is useful to you and I would really love to have this chance. I am looking forward to your answer

Praising Children

In 1969 Nathaniel Branden said that high self-esteem is the main foundation for parenting and has dominated since. It is incredibly important for us all to have a feeling of self-worth and acceptance, but as- children are been praised too much. Are we given the skills to work at a goal instead of expecting to complete it easily because we are told we are "smart"? Are we set up for failure by being told how smart we are, when in all actuality maybe we are right where we should be: in the middle? I have a feeling that the way we praise and are been praised is going to change; not that teachers and parents are going to be overly critical of their children and students, but that the way they encourage their kids will be more equal to others. We should be inspired to work harder for knowledge not for grades. B.K 11c

Advantages and disadvantages of learning in groups

Advantages and disadvantages of learning in groups There are three 10th grades in our school at the moment and the students are shared into seven groups. The groups have different teachers. At first I thought that the groups are made by educational success but this is not true. There are fifteen stundents in my group and most of them are from 10c. Only 4 girls are from 10a and from 10b there are no students in my group. In my opinion it is a great chance to make friends with everybody who graduates the sameyear with me and one of

Having a job while studying

Having a job while studying I think, that having a job while studying has both, positive and negative sides. One point of view in favour is preparation for the further life. On the other hand, having a job while studying shortens your spare time, time to relax and rest your brain, also you do not have time to do your homework properly, grades will suffer. Furthermore, young people should have enough time to spend with their friends and family, while students who work, use their ,,free time" to earn money, they enter to the grown-up world too soon, not to mention the fact that these working students usually do not have enough time for their personal life, relationships with opposite gender will suffer. They lose piece of their childhood. However, these students who are working while their studyies, are more prepared to

Moreover, then there maybe few students in with more difficulty subjects, like maths, technology, literature, science or history. You can take up these lessons if you want to. Although, if you discover much later that you need to learn math to get somewhere and you have not learnt it, then it is a problem because you have to start from begining. To sum up, if there is a choose subjects then everybody is listening, learning and the lesson goes well. The grades might be even better, but still nobody knows the future.

without having a smartphone in their pocket. Teenagers are using smartphones all the time no matter the place. Smartphones can also be very useful too when the time and place is right. Should teenagers use smartphones at school? At school student should be focusing on studying. Instead of doing that students are using their smartphones class and not paying attentoin to teacher who is trying to educate them. A lot of knowledge is getting lost because of the smartphones. This can lead to bad grades or even dropping out of school. Some people are not able to be 10 minutes away from their smartphones and this is bad. Smartphones are also bad for your eyes and posture. On the other hand smartphones can be very useful. You are able to search for information very quickly. Using them in class can make students take up knowledge more easily because the environment is more comfortable for them. Also doing tests in smartphones can be easier for students

The school year should last from 1st September to 22 June

The school year should last from 1st September to 22 June There is no doubt that the school has a big role in our lives. It teatches us how to cope with our life. But what are the pros and cons, if the school would last longer? Firstly, if the government wants to shorten our summer break, then we would not have enough time to rest or visit our relatives. And when the school starts again in the autumn, then many of us would have no motivation to learn. And because of that, our grades starts to deteriorate. Sometimes the school may be very stressful too and then the summer holiday is very good time to rest and deal with other things. Especially when you do not live at home, during the school and then the summer is the only time you can enjoy being home. But if the summer break is so little, then you can not do anything you want, because you always have to read books or do something else related with school. Still there are also some advantages, when school last so long

If I Were a Minister of Education

If I Were a Minister of Education In the last five years we have witnessed several changes in the education system. Although some people find it useful and needed, others find it tragic. What has changed and what would I do to make school a better place? Firstly, there are several things that has been changed in the last few years, such as financing vocational schools. Students of vocational schools get paid for good grades and in some schools even for attending school. Even dorms are paid for students. That is true, we have a chance of getting a little scholarship in high schools, if we graduate with a medal, but it is times and times harder to achieve. In fact government has started to close high schools because they think that there are too many of them. It looks like our country wants only graduates with vocational education, which I find really sad.

The Ideal School for my children

Children would be exposed to great literature, art, and music and encouraged to make their own relationships with these works. Children would have guidance in setting long-and short-term goals. Teachers would serve as mentors and facilitators, sharing their educational passions and helping children learn to help themselves. The children would be completely free to set up their own schedules. However, they would be held accountable for achieving their goals every week. There would be no grades until 7.class-there would be feedback from mentors and peers. Teachers would be in constant contact with one another. They would work together to implement cross curricular material and to provide continuity. They would be able to work together to follow a student through which ever path they have chosen (through different places). They would be able to bring their respective groups of students together in a virtual environment to work as one to solve a problem or tutor each other.

Competition: good or bad ? Competition is something that everyone has in his or her life. When you are young and still studying in school, you would compete with your classmates for better grades, when you get older and start working, you would compete with your colleagues to get higher position with better salary. Companies compete with each other to get more customers.Countries compete with each other for a better economy. Even animals and plants compete with each other. The Integration of subjects

The Integration of subjects The present-day school system revolves around traditional education, in which students learn each subject individually. This structure means that pupils don’t have the capability or know-how to connect math, biology or even art into their daily life. Even though the tutors of this conventional education have faith in the arrangement of subjects it is still entirely about high test scores, grades and graduation. The essence of progressive, alternative education like the integration of subjects is learning and the accumulation of valuable knowledge & skill. First of all, the courses that should be combined need to be challenging to the students. It would be wise to assimilate math, physics and chemistry because these classes are very similar. For instance, in order to complete a physics equation you need to know math, the same applies to chemistry. If these

Resume (conception of studying and teaching in university)

NARVA 2014 Approaches to studying in higher education Research, carried out in Great Britain and Sweden in 1970 identified only three dominant approaches to study. ·A deep approach (understanding the meaning of materials and in my oppinion this approach includes additional studies, very serious way of learning) ·a surface approach (memorising the course materials, the most common approach) ·and the last one, a strategic approach (only grades make sense) But the same student can adopt different approaches, It depends on different things, such as personal interest, teacher, tasks. Conceptions of learning in higher education. ·Learning as the extending knowledge ·Learning as memorising ·Learning the main ideas of procedures ·Learning something abstractive of meaning ·Learning as procedure aimed at the understanding of reality ·Learning as process inspired by personal interest. ·

Leap of faith All of you, hopefully, will graduate from high school this year. It’s great. You don’t need to wake up at 6 or 7 AM. No more homeworks, teachers giving you bad grades, or days lasting up to 4 or 5 pm. Great. While it’s all party and stuff, people will tend to ask you one question all the time, as you start to finish your last year. I don’t know how many of you have suffered that pain already, but I have. People, friends and family more frequently, will ask you the following: ‘Hey. Soo… Who do you want to become in the future?’ First thing most of you will say is that: ‘Um, I’m not entirely sure, I’m yet to decide

Genetic Engineering

On the other hand, geneticists recognize that intervention in a genome of live organisms can not completely be safe. In organisms are happening mutagen changes which can have strong negative impact on the human and it can be badly reflected on the human's health. Introduction in a human diet of mutagen food can lead to distribution of new pathogenic bacteria and also to increase the number of people who are suffering from food allergies. Some grades of transgene plants perniciously affect wrecker organisms and, as a result, they affect helpful organisms too. The possibility of escaping of an alien gene in the wild nature is not excluded, and it is difficult to submit what consequences can be. But it is clear that genetic pollution is capable to break natural balance and to lead to the ecological disaster which consequences can be much more dangerous than chemical and radioactive pollution.

The highest result of education is tolerance

weird kids at school? I hope by now you have figured out that because they may turn out to be rich and successful one day. But in all seriousness my grandma once said to me: `'Oh, my child, never be mean to people, tolerate them, be patient and kind. Even to those who you do not agree with. That makes you better and smarter.'' I have lived by those words. And I think every person in this world should. After all, the highest result of education is not only about having good grades. It is about having an open-mind with the people around you during the process of your education, about how much you have learned from others. Today, I think I have proved the accuracy of Mrs. Keller's quote quite well. I hope you all here happen to be tolerating people. But we should not forget a quote said by Bill Maher "Don't get so tolerant that you tolerate intolerance." Thank you!

baptised at birth and would not be until much later in life. However, as a compromise with his mother, Mussolini was sent to a boarding school run by Salesian monks. Mussolini was rebellious and was expelled after a series of behavior related incidents, including throwing stones at the congregation after Mass, stabbing a fellow student in the hand and throwing an inkpot at a teacher. After joining a new school, Mussolini achieved good grades, and qualified as an elementary schoolmaster in 1901. 1902, Mussolini immigrated to Switzerland to work on his political horizons. During a period when he was unable to find a permanent job there, he was arrested for vagrancy and jailed for one night. 1915, he had a son with Ida Dalser. His growing defiance of Royal authority and anti- clericalism got him in trouble with the authorities until he was finally deported. He was prompted to return to Italy once again when his mother became ill

Officially in Estonia there are no accommodation types like lodges and caravans, caravans belong under the accommodation type campsite. Lodges in Estonia, also in Lahemaa are managed by State Forest Board (RMK) and are meant to be independently used free of charge by any tourists. If there is a lodge in a tourism farm, it is considered to be an alternative accommodation type.
