Living and working abroad Living and working abroad may be better than in your home country. That can only be figured out by looking at your advantages and disadvantages that will occur. Starting with the advantages, the biggest advantage would be new experience. Learning a new culture and the way the people live, what they eat, how they dress, how they talk to each other, is a fantastic new experience. It can also involve more travelling around the world, learning more and more new cultures, meeting new people and getting smarter all the time. Earning money depending on my home country: Estonia, will be better ,because the economy in Estonia is very bad. The disadvantages are mostly leaving your family far away. Getting to birthdays and events involving your family will be very hard. Also when you go living in a new country, there will be a foreign language. If you're not even familiar with the language, it's ...

Diplomat Diplomat's job isn't that easy. You have to be well educated. Knowledge in languages have to be high and you have to speak the language very well if not fluently. Everytime you change country, it is required to know basic things about it, like language, history, differences and so many other important things. In Estonia you can learn how to be a diplomat in Diplomatic School. It is very difficult to get in because every year they accept only around 30 students. You have to be flexible in your working hours because probably with the job you have to attend a lot of meetings or gatherings in the evenings. Conditions might be different depending on the country you are staying, like in America you'll probably have very good living environment, but if you have to compare it wiht Ukraine or Belarus then there are differences. Working in this field requires at least a degree from the univ...
ESSAY "The soul should always stand ajar, ready to welcome the ecstatic experience." -- Emily Dickinson I have chosen this quotation because I think it is more than true. I think that you should always give a chance to every offer you have given. At least you should make a try for it. We have given only one life to live, we should not waste it. First of all, I think that everything happens for a certain reason. And every bad thing that will come to your life will come also because of something. For instance you have done something bad and then it would be like some kind of punishment and also a good lesson. It will show you that what goes around, comes around. It is karma and I believe in karma. As mentioned earlier, you should always be opened for new experiences and opportunities. That is so because they are meant to be come for a better life. But everything begin...
Reasons why people work In today's society it is known that people work because they need money to live. As Leonardo da Vinci said " God sells us all things at the price of labour " and unfortunately it tends to be true. However, there are still some of the other reason why people work. As Mothet Teresa said " Work without love is slavery" and fortunately there are many people in world who work because they love what they do. For example artists, musicians and actors do not earn a lot of money, however they can give the world something we need- entertainment. In addition to musicians, actors, and artists there are many other sincere, thoughtful and open-minded people who find time in addition to their daily work to help those who need help giving food to homeless people, helping children who are left without parents and taking care for the animals in the shelter. These people are doing this without ...

Tolerance and Diversity Janne Susi In today's world, the coexistence of different cultures is one of the most vital developments. Furthermore, the principles of tolerance and peaceful coexistence of different nations have often been underlined by the representatives of the European Union. The same ideas have lately been spreading in the Baltic countries. So, what are the main dangers to the tolerance and friendly coexistence in these countries? There are several phenomena which counteract the successful coexistence and integration of people from different cultural backgrounds. First and foremost, both coexistence and integration require a high level of tolerance from all those involved. Here, the major obstacle is often xenophobia which may be caused by a wide range of factors. As a rule, xenophobia occurs in big, mostly mono-cultur...
,,2 Fast 2 Furious" is the sequel to 2001's wildly popular ,,The Fast and the Furious". Once again the movie revolves around street racing, but this is a very different film from the original. This movie finds Brian kicked off by the police force when streetracing in Miami. He gets busted and the FBI cuts a deal whereby his record will be cleaned if he goes undercover to help them get a dirty information. The allure of these movies isn't the plot though. It's the cars and the racing. In my opinion, this movie is a bit better than the first. The movie has an entirely different feel from the first. The races are a little longer as they're not just doing quarter mile drag races and there are also some massive chase sequences that tear up a lot of cars. We were pleased to see lots of different types of performance cars getting representation this time.
The Spanish culture is rich, colorful and mysterious. Its culture and lifestyle differs tremendously from that of the other European countries. Bull Running: Every year in July thousands go to Pamplona to start Spain's most famous bull-running fiesta to honor the saint San Fermin. Runners, mainly young men, gather at the bottom of Santo Domingo. Then, a number of fighting bulls are let out onto the streets. The bulls run along the narrow street to a bull ring. The runners dash along in front of the bulls, trying to avoid getting gored by their sharp horns. When the bulls finally reach the end of the street, they go into enclosure and are kept until that day they are killed in a bullfight. Flamenco: The Spanish culture is also closely related to the famous Flamenco style. This passionate form of dance first originated in Andalusia, is around 200 years old and was originally considered to be a gypsy dance. It is a colorful dance that is...
FILM PRESENTATION The filmed I watched was ,,16 Wishes" It talked about girl named Abby. She has been planning her 16th birthday since she was little. She has a list of secret wishes that she wants to come true. When the Big Day actually arrives, then Abby's thinking that her birthday is ruined. But when a mysterious box of magical birthday candles arrives to turn things around, Abby's 16 Wishes start to come true. Every candle corresponds to a wish on her list. When she's blowing up a candle, her wish is coming true. So Abby is getting everything she ever wanted: money, car, be grown up etc. She loves it, because all her wishes just come true. One day everybody's acting like she's grown up and she realises that she doesn't want to be like that. Abby wants to be 16. Being an exchange student An exchange student is a high school student who has made a desicion to study abroad for one year. In addition, to experience the lifestyle of another nation. Being an exchange student has its advantages and disadvantages. First advantage would be living in a foreign country, a new language is quaranteed to be learned. Janely Plamus Meeting the wolf Many years ago on Sunday a young girl walked on a lonely road. The sun was shining and light clouds were in the sky. She was on her way home. Suddenly the sun disappeared and dark clouds appeared in the sky. She felt a little scared but didn't pay much attention on it. Before she could find any place to hide, it started raining. The weather was getting worse and worse until there were an awful thunderstorm. The girl had nowhere to go, she was frightened and started crying. She heard something moving in the bushes which scared her even more. She tried to be quiet and see what was in the bushes but she didn't see anything. As soon as she took a deep breath, the wolf jumped out of the bushes. He sniffed around and then started to move towards the girl. She started screaming and t...

How to find work you love Ted Talks, Scott Dinsmore His point is that if you want to find work you love, you must understand yourself, your unique strengths (the things you want to do, even if your not getting paid) and become a self-expert, to know what you are looking for in a job and what success means to you. You must also figure out what are your values and analyze your experiences. Once you have this framework together, you can start to identify the things that you want in your life and work. Do the impossible and push your limits. I think that Scott Dinsmore thinks in the right direction. If you want to be happy with your life you must find work that you love. And I know that the most difficult `'thing'' for peole is to actually think, think what they are, what they want and what makes THEM them. I think that's the main reason why people don't make the right choices. I an...
Two very different towns of Estonia I would like to write about two very different towns of Estonia. One is Paide and the second is Tallinn. These cities for most people, would be quite incomparable, but if you really are interested in Estonian culture, then you most certainly have to visit them both. Paide most often described as the center of Estonia, is one of the most historic cities in Estonia as its first mentioned in the writings as early as 1265, also it was one of the first cities in Estonia to receive ,,city" title as early as 1295.. Many would say that the city, now, is rather an rundown than an touristy city, but I most certainly believe that maybe although this city isn't even nearly close to being cosmopolitan it is one of the most interesting cities. It is nearly impossible to write about what's fascinating in Paide, but everyone who is interested in Estonia should really consider g...
REPORT To: local authorities From: a member of the Nature Club Subject: environmental situation at Poku Date: 22 February 2012 As a member on the Nature Club I have decided to write a report describing the environmental situation and make some recommendations based of the opinion poll. The situation at Poku is satisfying. Water and noise pollution is low because there are no cities around here. Wildlife is good and getting better because we have beautiful forests near Poku which gives good living and development places for wild animals. Paper and glass recycling is well organized. We have paper and glass containers and workers are cleaning them daily basis. Due to the fact that overall life in Poku is good we still have some problematic things to consider. Nowadays government has started to cut trees near Poku. This affects development of animals living in these areas because it takes away ...

Eclipse, Ch.10.Scent The Chapter starts with Edward leaving, because Jacob is on his way over. When Jacob gets there, Bella finds him wearing only his cut off jeans, and she is slightly put off by the fact that he always seems half naked. Jacob tells her that he has to carry his clothes around with him using a strap that is wrapped around his calf. Jacob decides to get to work and asks Bella where the intruder's scent was the strongest. When she replies her bedroom, his response is similar to what Edward's had been. But Jacob goes up and inspects the area like he was asked to. When Jacob returns he says that he caught the scent. As Bella washes the dishes, Jacob begins to ask her questions about her and Edward's relationship, centering on how she feels about him being a vampire and when she is planning on being changed. The anger and sadness of her answer, and the fact that it will be so soon after graduation, causes Jacob to clench ...

Fatal walk It was a warm and cloudless Friday evening in summer but Angelina didn't want to go to a party. She went for a walk at a park. She had a great evening and she enjoyed all this incredible nature in the park. Angelina was glad that she hadn't gone to party because she felt herself so relaxed. There were a few people in the park, birds were singing and not so warm evening sun was still shining. I felt a little bit chilly myself and it was getting darker too so I decided to go back home. My way back wasn't very pleasurable. I had always been afraid of those dark unlit side- streets but that walk had been good for me so I wasn't afraid that time. But then I heard screaming from one street. I didn't dare to go there but I peeked around the corner and I saw two men fighting with each other. One man had a gun and he was wearing a black mask. The other man was a typical businessman. I didn't h...

The family who turned back the clock. When Malcolm Jones woke up last Monday, he heard the birds singing. Not remarkable, you might think, especially given that he lives near a forest. But birdsong in the Jones household is usually drowned by a tidal wave of electronic music crashing around the house as soon as his four children wake up. This is a family who have chosen to fill their home with every conceivable gadget. They have nine television sets, including one in each bedroom and in the kitchen. All the children have their own personal computers and CD players. Of course, there are all the usual appliances we all take for granted, such as the washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, deep freeze, microwave oven, and video recorder, but they also have an electric trouser press, two power showers, an Olympic-sized spa bath and jacuzzi, three cars, and a music system which plays throughout the whole house. ...

All the world's a puzzle All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant, Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms. Then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel And shining morning face, creeping like snail Unwillingly to school. And then the lover, Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier, Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard, Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel, Seeking the bubble reputation Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice, In fair round belly with good capon lined, With eyes severe and beard of formal cut, Full of wise saws and modern instances; And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts Into the lean and slippered pantaloon, With spectacles on nose and pouch on...
The Status of Women in The World For a long time, through the history of human kind, women have fought for their rights. Issue of women rights and women status has always been discussed and there are many different points of view on this problem. In civilized community you are taught to respect human being as an equal to yourself. It just happens to be, that many eastern regions of men are not as happy as western nations, about the idea of leaving the wonderful life, in which they could tell a random female to strip and make them happy, for a life of begging for the thing they have been getting so easily. In europe a wife in a household is irreplaceable. No man is capable of raising children, cleaning, cooking, ironing and making money at the same time, thus men and women have divided their duties. Usually couple living together also provides eachother with support and comfort, wh...
Skateboarding is an action sport which involves riding and performing tricks using a skateboard. Skateboarding can also be considered a recreational activity, an art form, a job, or a method of transportation.[1] Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report found that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. Skateboarding is relatively modern. Since the 1970s, skateparks have been constructed specifically for use by skateboarders, bikers and inline skaters History Skateboarding was first started in the 1950s, when all across California surfers got the idea of trying to surf the streets. No one really knows who made the first board -- instead, it seems that several people came up with similar ideas at the same time. This office provides up-to-the-minute information about weather conditions throughout the day, both in Britain and around the world. Sisters Creasha was sitting alone in her room. It was silence outside, yet she felt that something was wrong it was too quiet. Her older brother, Denis, had always said that too much silence was dangerous even for the hunter. That is what Denis was a bounty hunter. Creasha looked at the paleness of her sleeping twin sister Suzan and thought that it'll be six months soon as mom and dad left the country and their children to the Fate. Well, the reality wasn't so dramatic, since they were politics whom had to travel a lot. Creasha and Suzan weren't small any longer, 16 is almost as good as grown-up! But Denis never thought so; he still cared about his little sisters, as they were babies in his mind. A sudden voice broke the silence Creasha had almost fallen asleep in. Suzan opened her eyes as well and whispered," I've heard this sound before, it's dad's car." In a couple of minutes the tw...
Crime & Punishment The fight between good and evil is as old as the humankind itself. Even in society there are always black sheep and these people are called 'criminals'. Although we are part of the EU and tend to be as humane as possible, we have to deal with the problem of growing numbers of people admitted to penitentiaries. One in all we have to dwelve into the mind of a criminal and find out what makes a felon tick. What forces an individual to commit crimes against others? Are we too humane and lenient? When looking for the reasons why people commit crimes I can only say what I believe to be sure of, and it is that individuals go against laws because they choose so, as criminal behaviour is a matter of choice. Today, there are many excuses cloaked as reasons for criminal behaviour. The misguided nature of these assertions has a serious impact upon crime control strategies. The classical approach h...

Riots 2) Racism is a common problem in many countries and in Englad it is present because there are many immigrants from all over the world. As it is a widespread social problem it's also one of the worst ones, because the hatred directed to different races or even nationalities makes the foreign people feel bad and also to hate the locals. This brings up many conflicts like the bombings in 2005 (when 4 islamic suicide bombers killed thmeselves and 52 civilians), but usually the conflicts are smaller, like brawls between different ethnic groups or mockery and insults. 3)In 1999 was the biggest racism related crime in the last 3 decades, when a Neo-Nazi David Copeland placed homemade nailbombs at public places directed to african and bangladeshian communities and killing 13 and injuring 139 people.,. Petty crimes are commited ...
To Be Human Is To Discuss Why My Speech Is So Short Most of the students complain about their timetable. Usually they are just fine, but the grass is always greener somewhere else, am I right? But for me and my class, it's a different story. The grass really is greener anywhere else, actually. Why do we go to school? Do we actually want to learn? I think not. Maybe on some level, until fourth grade or something like that, but most of us are in high school to get good grades, so that parents don't kick us out and still give us food and shelter. How to motivate ourselves to come here every single morning and really study, not just sit with your phone out and watch videos or do something not related to studying to keep from dying of boredom? I think that the main reason students skip class is that they just don't want to sit around for 45 minutes. Another re...
