Two very different towns of
Estonia
I
would like to write about two very different towns of Estonia. One is
Paide and the second is Tallinn. These cities for most people, would
be quite incomparable, but if you really are interested in Estonian
culture, then you most certainly have to visit them both .
Paide –
most often described as the center of Estonia, is one of the most
historic cities in Estonia as its first mentioned in the writings as early as 1265, also it was one of the first cities in Estonia to
receive „city“ title as early as 1295.. Many would say that the

My Town I live in Tallinn. It's the capital and main seaport of Estonia. Tallinn is a very beautiful city that lies on the Baltic Sea. It covers 158 square kilometres. The Mayor of Tallinn is Jüri Ratas. The population of our capital is about 400000 people. About 55% of them are Estonian, 37% Russians and the other 8% are from different nations. The people here are mostly engaged in industry- mainly the food industry (23%), trade (16%) and transport and communication (14%). History. Tallinn has a great history. It was first marked on a map of the world by the Arab geographer al-Idrisi in 1154, its name then being Kolyvan. In the 13 th- century chronicle of Henricus de Lettis the town was called Lyndanise. Then it was called Reval for some time and finally Estonians started to call the town Tallinn from
and how do you get them to move? Two Types I think you only need two kinds of people to create a technology hub: rich people and nerds. They're the limiting reagents in the reaction that produces startups, because they're the only ones present when startups get started. Everyone else will move. Observation bears this out: within the US, towns have become startup hubs if and only if they have both rich people and nerds. Few startups happen in Miami, for example, because although it's full of rich people, it has few nerds. It's not the kind of place nerds like. Why should tourists visit Estonia? I have always though of my country as a huge ,,multicultural city". We have so many different cultures from different places put into a little place all together that you could almost say we are a huge city not a country. And that has influenced us in a very remarcable way. Since the time we can remember we have been under Danes, Swedes, Germans, Russians, Polans and other. We have taken their traditions into our daily lives and forgotten ours. But still despite the fact that we bearly know our own language structure or our old traditions,we try to awake them once again.
The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is an orthodox cathedral in the Tallinn Old Town,Estonia. It was built to a design by Mikhail Preobrazhensky in a typical Russian Revivalstyle between 1894 and 1900, during the period when the country was part of theRussian Empire. English people say that children grow up more quickly now. Relationships within the British family are different now. Children have more freedom to make their own decisions. For example, children aged 13 may be employed part time in Great Britain. Age 15 is legally a "young person" not a "child". Age 16 is a school leaving age. They can leave home, drive a moped, marry with "parents' consent" buy beer. Age 17 can drive a car. Age 18 can vote, get married, drink in pubs. Education is a very important part in the life of British youth. One can't become an independent person without it. When time comes to enter a college a young Englishman chooses one far away from home. It is a necessary part of becoming adult. During the last 30 years there were a lot of different trends in youth movements. All of them were characterized by their own philosophy, way of life, style of dressing.
