EUTHANASIA Many hotly debated social questions revolve around choice. Giving people access to assistance in dying is one of them. The issue is too sensitive to come to a smple conclusion. The basic question is : should a person who is terminally ill and who feels that their life is not worth living, who is repeatedly asking for euthanasia and who is of sound mind be given assistance in dying so that they could do it in a dignified manner rather than have their lives prolonged by medical technology? Ultimately, it's a question of choice: empowering people to have control over their own bodies. The main opposition comes from religious groups, medical associations whose members see practising euthanasia as an inproper exctension of their role as carers. Throughout centuries the doctors' purpose in life has been to cure suffering, how can they be expected to do otherwise,
commit the crime, he or she was punished for, will die as innocent. Nobody can wake him or her up again, after that punishment. Second con is the question of humanity. A lot of countries think that killing the people is inhuman and therefore have abolished the capital punishment. Third con is that the person will just die, not get the actual punishment. Maybe lifetime prisonment would be better for such person, because then he/she will suffer more instead of just dying. So in my opinion although the capital punishment has it's pros and cons, it should be abolished, because the people, who get prisonment, will actually suffer more than they would for just dying.
My analysis of the article " Why Ebola is so dangerous" I chose this article because this theme is very current in our society, and many people are dying due to the disease called Ebola. The theme is very intriguing and I hope it interests people, because it definitely interests me. I think that this article makes people more aware of the disease and hopefully helps to put a stop to Ebola. Ebola virus disease, or simply Ebola, is a disease of humans and other primates caused by ebolaviruses. Signs and symptoms typically start between two days and three weeks after contracting the virus, as a fever, sore throat, muscle pain and headaches
favouring of Tristan and tricked by Wictred's seeming support of him, shows Wictred an old passage into the Roman foundations of Marke's castle that Tristan and Isolde used to carry out their affair. Wictred then fatally stabs Melot and sneaks his army into the castle. Marke and his forces swiftly become pinned down by Donnchadh's army outside the castle and Wictred's men within. Tristan sneaks back into the castle via the secret tunnel. On the way, he finds the dying Melot: the old friends forgive one another before he dies. Tristan emerges from the tunnel and attacks Wictred's men, allowing Marke's soldiers to secure the castle, but he is mortally wounded in combat by Wictred, though he kills Wictred shortly afterwards. Now outnumbered, Tristan, Marke and the soldiers loyal to him emerge from the castle and present Wicted's severed head to Donnchadh. Marke urges the British kings standing
when it is possible, there is also known mercy-killing, the act of killing someone who is suffering painlessly. It is argued, when mercy-killing should and when it should not be punished. On the one hand, mercy-killing should be punished when it is carried out by people who do not have a license for euthanasia. Not everyone is capable of deciding over someone's life. For example, even doctors do not always know if a patient is really dying. On the other hand, mercy-killing should not be punished when it has a permission of a court. This way all aspects would be taken under advisement by many people, considering the advisory opinion. In conclusion, mercy-killing should not be punished only if it is thought through by many specialists who find that it is the only way. Mercy-killing is the last alternative of all.
much more environment friendly. The one that we do the most is leaving rubbish around that doesn`t turn into compost. We should save energy by just turning off the electic appliances when we don`t use them. When going to the store we should bring our own canvas bags or just reuse old plastic bags. Reducing the damage to the environment would help our plants and animals from dying out and not to make any acid rains. Lots of people don`t take this stuff seriously and make wrong decisions in their everyday life. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IA0iCRB5q_YX44RM8BK40-NnN0UZBes9uzsvyJwFwCw/edit 1/1

Painter: Full name is Joseph Mallord William Turner, born on the 23 April 1775 and died on the 19 December 1851. He was an English Romantic landscape painter, watercolourist and printmaker. Although renowned for his oil paintings, Turner is also one of the greatest masters of British watercolour landscape painting. He is commonly known as "the painter of light". Painting: The subject of the painting is the practice of 18th century slave traders who would throw the dead and dying human 'cargo' overboard during the middle passage in the Atlantic Ocean. Turner was inspired by two sources: by the Zong Massacre of slaves and by lines from James Thomson's The Seasons (The Zong Massacre was the name given to the mass-killing of African slaves that took place in 1781 on the Zong). The violent power of the sea and the strange sea creatures represent the forces of nature punishing the guilty. The painting was
the summer, the city was very dry. Strong winds fanned the flames. In 1665, during the plague, the king, Charles II, had fled in London. His plan, in 1666 (he stayed in London and took charge of the operation to save the city) was to create fire-breaks. The heat created by the fire was so great that the lead roof on the old St Paul's Cathedral melted. The actual human casualty rate was remarkably small with possibly only 5 people dying in this fire. The wind that had helped the fire spread, turned on itself and drove the flames back into what had already been burned. Therefore, the fire had nothing to ignite and the fire died out. The Great Fire had burned down 84 churches and the old St Paul's. However, it had also destroyed the filthy streets associated the Great Plague. It was now up to the city's authority's to re-build and re-plan the city. This task was given to Sir Christopher Wren.
It should be noted that if there is not a good seal between the site tube and the brass nipples, the site tube will not function correctly when vacuum is applied. If air can get in, the fluid in the site tube will just constantly be "pumped" up the site tube while the vacuum is on. This isn't a big deal as long as you adjust the volume prior to turning on the pump, as it's not really practical to add dye after you start the dying process anyhow. 7. Next, you will have to remove the lip inside of the 4" to 3" PVC reducer. I did this with a Dremel and a sanding drum. You can do this part however you see fit. Be careful not to sand the inside of the 3" portion of the reducer. This may prevent a good seal between the pipe and the fitting. Before and after pictures can be seen below. 8. 9. Clean the inside of the 4" side of the reducer and one end of the 4" pipe (about 2" is sufficient). 10

I read an article about this topic in New York Times. Everyone knows something about the risks of sitting behind a desk all day without any physical activity, or even if not, they can imagine it’s not really healthy for you. Well the researchers at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City have conducted a survey in order to find out if only by walking two minutes every hour can you reduce the risk of premature death? The answer is yes, you can lower your risk of dying by one third by only taking a two minute break every hour to go for a walk. It doesn’t have to be outside or anything, you can do it even at your office. I think, that this survey is of much help to a lot of people who have to work sitting down. It is stated, that by walking only for two minutes in every hour you can live a lot healthier than by sitting down the entire day. I’m sure that every person who works seated should read this article in order to live a healthier life. I chose this
Using internet is very easy and most people learn to use it very quickly. It is much cheaper and faster way to chat with your friends or relatives than sending letters, because you do not have to buy stamps or envelopes. In the internet there are many programs where you can talk to people you know, most common programs used in EU are messenger and Skype. You can also send e-cards and e-mails at no cost. Many people still send letters, so it is not dying art; it is very common way wishing merry Christmas or happy birthday. Also sending postcards and letters are not very expensive. One disadvantage in using letters is its delivering speed. One letter may travel many weeks before it arrives to its destination point. Perhaps the internet, cellular phones and letters are not the best ways to communicate; maybe we should stick to old habits and start visiting our friends and relatives more often and not using telephones and internet.
many years (sometimes hundreds or even thousands) to grow again. Pollution and destruction change the balance of nature. Each species in a habitat (for example, wood, jungle, marsh or forest) needs and helps the rest. As a result, forests are been cutting down. And what has taken the place of these green, natural places? Houses, farms, cities, streets, roads and factories. Because of this (and pollution, too) several species are dying all over the world. In addition , if one animal, bird or insect disappears, all the others suffer too. And all living beings belong to the circle of life. And when one link is missing, the circle of life can´t function normally. A further problem is hunting. Man has always been a hunter. He still is. But many modern hunters don't just kill for food - they kill for profit. And that´s wrong ! There are, however some solutions. We should make more laws, that protect the animals in danger.

In the other hand, many people cannot live with knowing that someone just died for the things one did, just becuse of a slight malformation, which had nothing to do with his free will. Now he is dead. Does it make the feeling any better, or did it delete all the ill memories or anger? The only answer is : no, it did not. In conclusion a capital punishment is not the best way to punish a man. All the ones, who have been sentenced to death, have claimed just minutes before dying, that death is just the thing they want and they are very satisfied with it, and this knowing has even encouraged them to commit a crime. In their minds, a life-time prisonment is more severe than capital punishment. If convicts say that death penalty is more a relief than a punishment, so why on earth is this act allowed?

very disturbing. The complete darkness also has a part in it, of course. The sailors, obviously, do not hear the Bell (as it is in the bottom of the ocean). The current is very strong and it carries the floating ship with it. Then, suddenly the ship hits a rock and the understand they have found the Inchcape Rock. As the ship is sinking, Sir Ralph the Rover curses himself for removing the Bell from it's rightful position. "But even in his dying fear / One dreadful sound could the Rover hear, / A sound as if with the Inchcape Bell, / The Devil below was ringing his knell." The last stanza is written in a very powerful way. It says that at his dying hour, the Rover finally understands that he himself had signed his death sentence by removing the bell. The poem is filled with romanticist images and is quite literally understandable. But, if we
Many families were evicted because they couldn't pay for their land. Hand in hand, starvation and diseases spreaded all across the country. As soon as spring began, people started emigrating to Canada - ships bringing lumber to England were glad to receive paying passengers. Almost every ship had a third of their passenger's die at sea or upon their arrival. On the shores of Quebec eyewitnesses saw hundreds literally flung on the beach, left in the mud, dying. Yet, it was only the potato crop that failed wheat, oats, pork, mutton etc. were excellent, but all was shipped to Europe to ease the starvation there. The British government refused to help with money or by opening soup-kitchens they were afraid that young rebels would buy guns and that the Irish would get used with free food and never work again. The `Great Hunger' ended in 1851-52, when the amount of eatable crop increased. Approximately 1
Dorian can be forever beautiful but is it worth it? Dorian realizes that he cannot be young forever and wishes that the portrait would age not him but he does not think about the consequence. Lord Henry points out that Dorian cannot be beautiful and young forever and Dorian wishes that the painting would age not him. I think this it not worth it because everyone around Dorian will grow old and eventually die. He would see the people he cares about dying. Also, when Dorian understand that he can be beautiful forever, he does not care so much about what is going to happen or even what is going to happen with people around him. He was a caring young man who loved very much Sibyl, especially when she was acting. After realizing he would stay young forever, he does not care about Sibyl so much. He only likes Sibyl's acting but when he sees that Sibyl really cannot act, he is disappointed and does not love Sibyl anymore, he does not
He is very keen on writing. John starts writing a letter to his six year-old son. A letter which his son would get to read as a grown-up. It is just like John would write down his biography. John puts down words of advice and wisdom for his son and tells him about the life of a minister and a preacher. John starts his letter with reminding the conversation he had had with his son the night before that he might be gone someday. He talks about death and how dying people have asked him what death is like. He has always said that it is like going home. John starts looking back on his life, reminding his parents and grandparents. His father and grandfather were ministers too and ment a lot to him. John talks about a trip he and his father took to find Johns grandfathers grave who had been an itinerant preacher. It had been a rough journey, which lasted for week. They had very little to eat and nowhere to sleep. It had been a bonding experience for them

Peale albumit ,,Seventh Son of The Seventh Son'' hakkas Maideni iga tuuri juurde kuuluma maskott Eddy, kes on olnud nii suur küborgist robot, kui ka muumia jne. 1990. aastal tabas bändi tagasilöök, kui kitarrist Adrian Smith otsustas bändist lahkuda otsustades sooloprojekti kasuks. Smithi asemele võeti Janick Gers. Kaheksas stuudioplaat "No Prayer for the Dying" avaldati 1990. aastal küll veel koostöös Adrianiga, kuid sellest ajast edasi polnud temast enam suurt midagi kuulda. 1993. aastal tabas bändi uus tagasilöök, kui bändist lahkus legendaarse häälega laulja Bruce Dickinson. Pärast sadade lauljate katsetamist otsustas Maiden 1994. aastal Dickinsoni asemele palgata Blaze Bayley. Bayley ei meeldinud fännidele ja sellepärast olidgi Maideni järgmised plaadid läbikukkumised. inconsequential to me. The first thought, that came into my mind, was whether this is all we are actually worth. It depends on a person, I believe that life is worth as much as you make it worth. Some may hold into these 21 grams one truly valuable life with everything in it. Others may hold a life, that has just passed by. These are the people who have done nothing but just existing for their whole lives. Something needs to be done in order to be content with your life. Before actual dying, people start to think their whole life through. This is the time, when we forget the little things that once seemed awfully important, and start to think a little further. A question ''Did my life weigh enough?'' could be asked. It sure does not mean the measurements. It can be compared with an everyday life, where worth things cost more. Still, the most important things do not cost a penny. Therefore the weight of our souls - 21 grams - an unbelievably small
that he could turn back time and hadn't spent it with Hermia. But they were in love and they were eloping and they had a future together. Love is altered anywhere anytime and that's where people are so dumb they think that they will be together and that they will love each other and then they make dumb choices that ruin their lives. Puck put a spell so that Lysander would despise Hermia but what if that never happened can it be assumed that they would have been in love until their dying days? Is love true or false? Or is it just a chemical imbalance that people have which sends them into a unrealistic state of mind. We will never know the truth of love but that still doesnâTMt make a feeling rational just a mystery. So the next time you tell someone that you love them think of Hermia and Lysander and really mean everything that you say because you never know, you could wake and realize it was all a dream.

men and the Dragoons had a fight and during this, many men on both sides were killed, leaving Gabriel and the Reverend to face off against Tavington. The Reverend was shot, but threw his loaded musket to Gabriel, who shot Tavington, who promtply fell to the ground. However, as Gabriel approached his body, he quickly turned around and stabbed him with his sword. As Tavington escaped, Benjamin got there in time to find Gabriel dying on the ground. In the final battle, Col. Harry Burwell and Jean helped Benjamin defeat the British, by using the militia (who were held in low regard by the British officers) as a feint. Soon Martin and Tavington were able to face off, one on one. As Tavington gained the upper hand in their vicious fight, he muttered, "Kill me before the war is over, will you? It appears you are not the better man." As he swang his sword ready to kill Benjamin, Martin stabbed him with a
Global Warming One of the biggest issues our planet and its inhabitants are facing nowadays is global warming. Global warming, also often referred to as the greenhouse effect, has not always been a problem. However, over the last centuries, since the Industrial Revolution things have changed. Polar regions are melting, species are dying, climate zones are shifting, migration patterns for animals such as polar bears and birds are being disrupted our world as we know it is changing. Some scientists believe that the climate will reach a tipping point, a point at which even a tiny additional increase would throw the system into violent change. We started doing harmful things and only now do we realize what we have done and what we are doing. At this current rate by the middle of next century the Earth's temperature may

The grass really is greener anywhere else, actually. Why do we go to school? Do we actually want to learn? I think not. Maybe on some level, until fourth grade or something like that, but most of us are in high school to get good grades, so that parents don't kick us out and still give us food and shelter. How to motivate ourselves to come here every single morning and really study, not just sit with your phone out and watch videos or do something not related to studying to keep from dying of boredom? I think that the main reason students skip class is that they just don't want to sit around for 45 minutes. Another reason, I know that from my own experience, is undone homework. We don't want to get bad grades and we choose not to show up. Maybe it's better not to give homework, like they do in Finland. Yesterday, I had 9 lessons. I got home at 5 o'clock and my mom was already home. When I walked in the door, she asked: ,,Wow, how did you get home so early, weren't you

" Building began around 1632 and was completed around 1653, and employed thousands of artisans and craftsmen. The Persian architect, Ustad Ahmad Lahauri is generally considered to be the principal designer of the Taj Mahal. Origin and inspiration In 1631 the emperor during the Mughal empire's period of greatest prosperity, was griefstricken when his third wife died during the birth of their fourteenth child. In her dying breath, his wife urged him to build a mausoleum for her that the world has never seen before. Shah Jahan granted his wife's wish and the constructions started one year after her death with the principal mausoleum completed in 1648. The surrounding buildings and garden were finished five years later. Architecture The focus of the Taj Mahal is the white marble tomb, which stands on a square plinth consisting of a symmetrical building with an iwan, an arch-shaped doorway, topped by a large

begins with the lines /Talking in bed ought to be easiest, Lying together there goes back so far/. At first it gives the reader an idea that he is talking about two lovers, but actually he is talking about England and USA. He describes the darkness that is creeping up. In my opinion he is talking about USA, which is beginning to creep up on England or on Europe. And because of that England is becoming a less dominant and more isolated place. He is saying that intimacy is dying and that may represent the globalization. Another political poem I really enjoyed is ´´Homage To a Government´´. Larkin says that next year they are going to bring all the soldiers home, because they (citizens) want the money for them selves. And that their children do not know it's a different country, because they did not achieve anything in the war. But at least they can leave their children some money. I think that Larkin means that the troops are going to be brought home from Vietnam

The Celtic kingdoms Wales By the eight century most of the Celts were driven to welsh peninsula. They were kept out of England by Offa's Dyke a wall built in 779AD The Welsh called themselves cymry. The cymry could only live in the valleys, because the other part of the land was too mountainous. Society was based on small family groupings which were ruled by a strong leader who later made themselves kings who also ruled the neighbouring family groupings. Life was hard and dangerous. Dying of old age was rare. Slavery was common. In 1039 Gruffydd Llewelyn was the first king powerful enough to rule the whole Wales. Ireland Ireland was never invaded by the Romans or the AngloSaxons. It was a land of monasteries and flourishing Celtic culture. Just like in Wales, people were known by their family groupings. Outside the tribe they had no name or protection. The Kings were chosen by election. The
