that they were years ago. World has gone on and so the same way is with wonders. In my opinion, the most needed wonder is Internet. It has developed quite quickly. Most of young people can not live without it. Youth can communicate each other and they can also find some necessary information. There are also some elderly people who need the Internet. Usually they use it to do work, but older people also use it to communicate with other people like friends or colleague. Some elderly people may use the Internet even more than some youth. I guess that next wonder can be mobile phone. It is also very needed thing. People can call wherever they are. Mobile phone does not have any cables. There are very different phones and each people can choose mobile what likes him. Phone is used in different ways some people use it to talking, other use it for playing and some want to show others how good or expensive is their mobile.

The novel begins with Stevens receiving a letter from a former colleague, Miss Kenton, describing her married life, which he believes hints at an unhappy marriage. which was a huge success and spawned several best-selling books. (He won the "British Academy Award" and was named "BBC Personality of the Year" for his performing on Not the Nine O'Clock News.) Atkinson's other creation, the hapless Mr. Bean, first appeared on New Year's Day in 1990 in a half-hour special for Thames Television. Several sequels to Mr. Bean appeared on television until 1995, and the character later appeared in a feature film. Bean was directed by Mel Smith, Atkinson's colleague in Not the Nine O'Clock News. A second film, Mr. Bean's Holiday, was released in 2007. Atkinson's film career began with a supporting part in the 'unofficial' James Bond movie Never Say Never Again. His television character Mr. Bean debuted on the big screen with Bean to international success. A sequel, Mr. Bean's Holiday also became an international success. He has also starred in the James Bond parody Johnny English and its sequel, Johnny English Reborn.

But unlike most of people we don't have to worry about our issues alone. We share the same experience and my dear wife knows the environment I work in and she is also familiar with all the problems. The lack of need to explain everything saves a lot of time. Catherine: Marc is always there for me when I need support and motivation. He knows exactly what I'm feeling and he can always help me with my problems, no matter if they're work-related or not. He is everything: my husband, my friend, my colleague and advisor. It helps a lot. And one is inclined to believe that. Though it might at first seem a formidable undertaking, there is nothing about having a harmonious private life along with an effective professional relationship which the right people can't master.

In 1877, Douglass was appointed a United States Marshal. In 1881, he was appointed Recorder of Deeds for the District of Columbia. His wife (Anna Murray Douglas) died in 1882, leaving him in a state of depression. His association with the activist Ida B. Wells brought meaning back into his life. In 1884, Douglass married Helen Pitts, a white feminist from Honeoye, New York. Pitts was the daughter of Gideon Pitts, Jr., an abolitionist colleague and friend of Douglass. A graduate of Mount Holyoke College (at that time Mount Holyoke Female Seminary), Pitts had worked on a radical feminist publication named Alpha while living in Washington, D.C.. Frederick and Helen Pitts Douglass faced a storm of controversy as a result of their marriage, since she was a white woman and nearly 20 years younger than he. Both families recoiled; hers stopped speaking to her; his was bruised, as they felt his marriage was a repudiation of their mother

You cannot, for example, write a memo to a colleague in the same style and tone as you might use when speaking on the telephone to a friend. · Logically Connected Ideas Finally, your ideas must be suitably connected so that the reader can identify related ideas while reading through and gradually understanding the message. Text 1 and Text 2 below clearly show these five aspects of writing in the business world. Evaluation Exercise 1

Hendrik Antoon Lorentz (18 July 1853 4 February 1928) was a Dutch physicist who shared the 1902 Nobel Prize in Physics with Pieter Zeeman for the discovery and theoretical explanation of the Zeeman effect. He also derived the transformation equations subsequently used by Albert Einstein to describe space and time. Lorentz theorized that the atoms might consist of charged particles and suggested that the oscillations of these charged particles were the source of light. When colleague and former student of Lorentz Pieter Zeeman discovered the Zeeman effect in 1896, Lorentz supplied its theoretical interpretation. The experimental and theoretical work was honored with the Nobel prize in physics in 1902. Lorentz' name is now associated with the Lorentz-Lorenz formula, the Lorentz force, the Lorentzian distribution, and the Lorentz transformation. Albert Michelson (December 19, 1852 May 9, 1931) was an American physicist known for his work on the

The same kind of total, configurational awareness that reveals why the medium is socially the message has occurred in the most recent and radical medical theories. In his Stress o f Life, Hans Selye tells of the dismay of a research colleague on hearing of Selye's theory: When he saw me thus launched on yet another enraptured description of what I had observed in animals treated with this or that impure, toxic material, he looked at me with desperately sad eyes and said in obvious despair: "But Selye, try to realize what you are doing before it is too late! Mayfield had picked up another batch of cables in the surreptitious fashion from Street on Friday morning and immediately sent them down to Rochefort's unit by messenger. Solving them was not part of its duty,4 but when a superior officer and colleague asks one to do a favor, it is hard to say no. Rochefort assigned the messages to Chief Radioman Farnsley C. Woodward, 39, who had had some experience with Japanese diplomatic codes at the Shanghai station from 1938 to 1940. He had some help from Lieutenant Commanders Thomas H. Evans cites E. K. Chambers' Arthur of Britain11 as asserting that King Arthur had a son Anir "whom legend has perhaps confused with his burial place." A speaker in the grip of the latter confusion might say "Anir must be a green and lovely spot"; the CausalHistorical Theory would interpret that sentence as saying that a human being (Arthur's son) was a green and lovely spot. Less dramatically, one might mistake a person for an institution or vice versa. (A former colleague of mine used to use the name of Emerson Hall--the build- ing that houses the Harvard philosophy department--as a way of referring to the department, as in "Emerson Hall isn't going to like this." A casual hearer might easily have gotten the idea that "Emerson Hall" names a person.) Or one might mistake a shadow for a live human being and give it a name. In none of these cases is it plausible to say that subsequent uses of the name in question really refer to the categorially erroneous item.

If we always assume the worst, it would not be possible to receive the benefits of any legitimate favors or concessions offered by individuals who had no intention of exploiting the reciprocity rule. I have a colleague who remembers with anger how his lO-year-old daugh- ter's feelings were terribly hurt by a man whose method of avoiding the jaws of the reciprocity rule was to refuse her kindness. The children of her class were hosting an open house at school for their grandparents, and her job was to give a flower to each visitor entering the school grounds. The first man she approached with a flower growled at her, "Keep it." Not knowing what to do, she extended

wrote 144 symphonies. This great number serves as motivation to confine myself to orchestral works. Moreover, this number may be somewhat larger if we take into account that I have no exact information about the activities of all Estonian composers living outside Estonia. From this uneven and variegated whole I had to choose works worthy of attention. Thus I have had to treat the symphonists in the same manner. I apologise if a colleague does not find his name mentioned. The volume for this extensive work is limited. As the manifold activity of several elder composers still has deep significance today, I have, for the sake of completeness, discussed their other spheres of operation. Symphonic music is divided into two large subsections: instrumental and choral (oratorio and cantata) works. The latter has been severely cut from this work; some examples from momentous stage and oratorical works constitute an exception
