Homosexual people marching the streets of Järva-Jaani. Today, i was walking home from school, and i saw four gay couples marching the streets of Järva-Jaani. I was very annoyed because of the noise they were making and crappy music they were playing. I hope Arto Saar will do something about it, because i do not think i could stand another day having to walk past them. People of Järva-Jaani, I hope that you will help me freeze out these gay couples before there will be more of them walking the streets of my hometown. The thing is that in my opinion gay couples shouldn't be aloud to be openly ,,gay"

THAILAND GETAWAY 12/01/2008 Dear Sirs I have just returned from a holiday in Thailand Getaway. I am writing to express my annoyance about a number of points. First of all, the beaches were dirty and crowded. As a result, I didn't see any clean and free places where for suntanning. I like snorkelling, but you have not snorkelling equipment for all the family. Take a tour by elephant was impossible because queue was too long. Even bikes were out of order. All these points made me very annoyed. I insist on paying back a half of the sum I paid for the holiday. Yours faithfully M. Mets (Mr) words (109)

Pennsylvania. Pencey is Holden's fourth school as he has already fallen out of three others. At Pencey, he has failed four out of five of his classes and has received notice that he is being expelled, but he is not scheduled to return home to Manhattan until Wednesday. On Friday night, he visits his elderly history teacher, Ms. Spencer, to say goodbye, but when Spencer tries to reprimand him for his poor academic performance, Holden becomes annoyed. After the argument with his teacher, he heads back to the dormitory. As Holden is already irritated, he gets angry on his two roommates. He decides that he's had enough of Pencey and will go to Manhattan three days early, stay in a hotel, and not tell his parents that he is back. appearance without their knowledge. No matter how this manifests, it often leads to comparison and shame, and perpetuates the idea that people should be judged mainly for their physical features. This leads to the question: if it has such harsh consequences, why is body-shaming so common? An example IOP (the Braintree Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program) often discuss about dealing with conflicts with peers. Why, when we are upset, annoyed, or intimidated by someone, do we default to criticizing their appearance? Insults can be a go-to defense in these situations, particularly during adolescence and the young-adult years. In some ways, it feels easier to shoot for something that will hurt, like targeting physical appearance, rather than expressing what is really going on emotionally. Saying, “I’m really hurt by how my friend treated me,” or “I’m terrified of losing this friendship” opens us up and makes us more

Jacob insists on driving her, and she finally accepts. During the entire drive back to Forks Jacob repeatedly frustrates Bella with references to the kiss, saying even that it was incredible and professing that she doesn't have to change anything to be with him. No matter how many times Bella asserts that she can't and doesn't want to be happy without Edward, Jacob relentlessly urges her to "just think about it." Bella is surprised, and annoyed, when she realizes Jacob is taking her to Charlie's house instead of to Edward's, where she'd hoped to have Carlisle look at her hand. Jacob offers to drive her to the hospital, but she refuses. Once at the Swan home, Bella tells Jacob to go home. He of course follows her inside anyway, where Charlie asks what the fuss is about. Jacob explains without reservation. Charlie responds only with pleasure over Jacob's actions. This irritates Bella

One year all the vying knights were all gathered at the shooting line, the parrot suddenly fell to the ground, pierced by an arrow. The sharpshooter turned out to be a poor boy called Toomas. The annoyed contestants told him to place the parrot back on the top of the pole. Everyone was impressed and the story about Toomas spread quickly. The major of Tallinn asked him to be the town-guard. It was a great honor for the young man and he proved his reliability several times in the battles of the Livonian war. At old age his looks were very similar to the man on the weather vane on top of the spire of the Tallinn's Town Hall, so the people started to call the vane Old Thomas.

After a while, Oliver wanted to go out with the boys and do the work they do, and finally Fagin allowed it. On their first day out, Oliver began to get annoyed because the boys weren't doing anything constructive. Then they spotted a gentleman leaning over a bookstall and Oliver watched as they went up to him. They took a handkerchief out of his pocket and Oliver was horrified that they were stealing from him. The man realized that it was missing and turned to see Oliver running away. The other boys screamed `stop thief' as the gentleman did and watched as he chased Oliver through the streets. political science, architecture, human geography, sociology, Marxist theory, feminism, religious and theological studies, and literature. White Teeth. On New Year's morning, 1975, Archie Jones sits in his car on a London road and waits for the exhaust fumes to fill his Cavalier Musketeer station wagon. Archie--working-class, ordinary, a failed marriage under his belt--is calling it quits, the deciding factor being the flip of a 20-pence coin. When the owner of a nearby halal butcher shop (annoyed that Archie's car is blocking his delivery area) comes out and bangs on the window, he gives Archie another chance at life and sets in motion this richly imagined, uproariously funny novel. Epic and intimate, hilarious and poignant, White Teeth is the story of two North London families-- one headed by Archie, the other by Archie's best friend, a Muslim Bengali named Samad Iqbal. Pals since they served together in World War II, Archie and Samad are a decidedly unlikely pair.

"That's a very good question," he muttered, so quietly that I wondered if he was talking to himself. However, after a few seconds of silence, I decided that was the only answer I was going to get. I sighed, scowling at the blackboard. "Am I annoying you?" he asked. He sounded amused. I glanced at him without thinking... and told the truth again. "Not exactly. I'm more annoyed at myself. My face is so easy to read -- my mother always calls me her open book." I frowned. "On the contrary, I find you very difficult to read." Despite everything that I'd said and he'd guessed, he sounded like he meant it. "You must be a good reader then," I replied. "Usually." He smiled widely, flashing a set of perfect, ultrawhite teeth. attracted to Varenka. About to propose, he backs down. Stiva arrives later for a visit and brings a friend named Veslovsky. Levin gets jealous because Veslovsky flirts with Kitty. But Veslovsky is just a flirt. He goes to see Anna and flirts with her too. The two principal women react differently to this man, as do the two main male characters. Chapters 8-25 Levin, Stiva and Veslovsky go on a hunting trip in the forest, and Levin again gets annoyed at the city dwellers for having little knowledge of the countryside and all its elements. The three stop and spend the night at a peasant's home, where Stiva and Veslovsky each sleep with peasant women. Levin is disgusted. Yet he eventually realizes that he's not really in a position to make judgments about others, so he finds it in his heart to befriend the two anew. Once they return to the estate, Veslovsky again flirts with Kitty. Levin takes drastic measures and tells Veslovsky to leave

it is weakened. REACTIVITY AND GRIEVANCES Whereas resentment is often the emotion that goes with complaining, it may also be accompanied by a stronger emotion such as anger or some other form of upset. In this way, it becomes more highly charged energetically. Complaining then turns into reactivity, another of the ego's ways of strengthening itself. There are many people who are always waiting for the next thing to react against, to feel annoyed or disturbed about – and it never takes long before they find it. “This is an outrage,” they say. “How dare you...” “ I resent this.” They are addicted to upset and anger as others are to a drug. Through reacting against this or that they assert and strengthen their feeling of self. A long-standing resentment is called a grievance. To carry a grievance is to be in a permanent state of “against,” and that is why grievances

a real Santa Claus, but that all the mythology about him is garishly false? Instead, of course, we say that there is no Santa Claus (apologies to any- one who did not know that). We use the name "Santa Claus" as though it abbreviates a description. A similar example would be that of "Dracula." It is well known that the contemporary use of that name goes back to a real Transylvanian nobleman called "Vlad" (commonly, "Vlad the Impaler," in virtue of his customary treatment of people who had annoyed him). But of course when we now say "Dracula" we mean the fictional vampire created by Bram Stoker and portrayed by Bela Lugosi in the famous movie. 56 Reference and referring Having merely raised the problem, Kripke does not try to patch his account in response, but moves on. Probably the most obvious feature to note is that "Santa Claus" and "Dracula" as we use those names are associated with very powerful stereotypes, indeed cultural icons in the United States.

I was starry-eyed and it showed. So I had to really work at playing it cool as I made my way over to the building where I would be working. As far as my job went, at least, I'd gotten my way. I wanted to make a living based on my own merits and that meant an entry-level position. Starting the next morning, I would be the assistant to Mark Garrity at Waters Field & Leaman, one of the preeminent advertising agencies in the US. My stepfather, mega-financier Richard Stanton, had been annoyed when I took the job, pointing out that if I'd been less prideful I could've worked for a friend of his instead and reaped the benefits of that connection. "You're as stubborn as your father," he'd said. "It'll take him forever to pay off your student loans on a cop's salary." That had been a major fight, with my dad unwilling to back down. "Hell if another man's gonna pay for my daughter's education," Victor Reyes had said when Stanton made the offer. I respected that

at his complaisance--for who would object to such a partner?" Elizabeth looked archly, and turned away. Her resistance had not injured her with the gentleman, and he was thinking of her with some complacency, when thus accosted by Miss Bingley: "I can guess the subject of your reverie." "I should imagine not." "You are considering how insupportable it would be to pass many evenings in this manner--in such society; and indeed I am quite of your opinion. I was never more annoyed! The insipidity, and yet the noise--the nothingness, and yet the self-importance of all those people! What would I give to hear your strictures on them!" "Your conjecture is totally wrong, I assure you. My mind was more agreeably engaged. I have been meditating on the very great pleasure which a pair of fine eyes in the face of a pretty woman can bestow." Miss Bingley immediately fixed her eyes on his face, and desired he would tell her what

Mr. Sheen dutifully offered his opinions even though his relevant experience to that point was limited to playing the role of a U.S. president on the TV series West Wing. CONNOTATION NOT CONTENT _ neous and interesting conversation partners for the previous half hour become re- spectful, accepting, and dull. His opinions that before may have produced a lively exchange now generate extended (and highly grammatical) statements of accord. Annoyed and slightly bewildered by the phenomenon-because as he says, "I'm still the same guy they've been talking to for the last 30 minutes, right?"-my friend now regularly lies about his occupation in such situations. What an eccentric shift from the more typical pattern in which certain com- pliance practitioners lie about titles they don't truly have. Either way, however, such practiced dishonesty makes the same point about the ability of a symbol of au- thority to influence behavior.

his Cadillac, with Arnold in the passenger seat and Franco in the back. There are probably 12 stoplights in between the airport and the Interstate, so it was a lot of stop-and-go driving. Now, you have to know that Arthur was a man who talked loud and dominated every conversation. But he couldn't get Arnold to shut up. He was just blabbing in his German or whatever and Arthur was having a hard time understanding what he was saying. So Arthur was getting annoyed and told him to quiet down, but Arnold just kept talking and talking. By the time they got onto the Interstate, Arthur had had enough. So he pulled over to the side of the road, got out, walked around, opened Arnold's door, grabbed him by the shirt collar, yanked him out, and said something to the effect of, "Listen here, you son of a bitch. If you don't shut the hell up, a man twice your age is going to whip your ass right out here in front of I-4 traffic. Just dare me."
