Dear John movie review Dear John is a romantic drama. It was released on February 5, 2010. The film was directed by Lasse Hallström and it is a movie made from a book from Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name. The key of the movie were love, war, loss, forgiveness. I liked the actors very much. The actors were Amanda Seyfried as Savannah and Channing Tatum as John. I liked Seyfried before I saw that movie, because she can play different roles and I believe her. She is a really good actor, not like most of the Hollywood actors. Tatum I saw acting the first time but I liked him too. They were really good together. Seyfried played a rich Southern girl who doesn't drink, doesn't do drugs and is spending her spring rebuilding houses for the poor people. Tatum plays a guy from Army who meets Savannah in the beach

The Polar Boy A year ago, I decided to go to the cinema and watch something extraordinary. The choice fell on an Estonian film “The Polar Boy”. It is a touching romantic drama film produced in Estonia that premiered on May 13. 2016. The film was directed by Anu Aun and the film stars are Roland Laos and Jaanika Arum. This film focuses on the development of the relationship between two young people - Mattias and Hannah. "The Polar Boy" has been supported by Estonian Film Foundation. Mattias is a young talented photographer living in Tallinn, who has a dream to become a student of the Berlin Arts Academy. He is in his final year of school and has to concetrate on studying before exams, but suddendly he fells in love with a girl. Hannah suffers from a mental disorder called bipolarity

The topic of this essay is cinema as the most restrictive medium. I would like to discuss the restrictions of cinema as such – what these are, how do they affect the medium. For example time limit of the films, budget, how it affects writer and director, what kind of choices they have to make, and how the audience come into play. Personally, i don’t consider cinema as a restrictive medium. Cinema’s most restrictive feature is time. Filmmakers must fit very good shots edited into very good storyline into one and a half to three hour movie, usually. The reason being, we get uncomfortable sitting long period of time. If the movies would be longer, we would lose interest and start doing something else. We would simply get uncomfortable sitting on a chair and the whole cinema experience would become agony. Furthermore, producing films can be expensive, especially longer films. All human resources want to be paid an hour wage, renting and building sets cost money etc

Review: Educating Rita Educating Rita is one William Russell's best-known work. In 1980 it came out as a play, but in 1983 the play was adapted for film. This comedy has two main characters: the hairdresser Susan, who calls herself Rita and is played by Julie Walters and divorced constantly drunk Dr. Frank Bryant, who is played by Michael Caine. Educating Rita deals with relationships and changes. It also speaks about how different people find different things important. The film begins with Rita's arrival to the university, where she wants to discover herself and get educated before having children. There she also meets first time with her tutor Frank. Since the first time they meet, Rita knows that she wants Frank to be her tutor. Frank, however, finds that Rita is rare and unique. and pretty much my father figure at the time. I tried to teach him Estonian and learned some Russian instead. My Russian studies in school have always been very hectic and making very little sense. Teachers kept changing all the time, teaching methods kept changing as well and learning Pushkin by heart does not work wonders with one's speaking skills, really. (Although I still can recite one of his poems...) The point is, I actually really like Russian. I've never been good at it, but I like the language and I really wish I knew it better. I can speak some, but not read much. As soon as the characters stop talking to each other, I'm stuck and can barely understand anything. Most of my Russian skills my ten years younger mates envy come from my year of living in Narva (literally starve or learn!) and talking to a variety of Estonian-Russian roleplayers I know. (But since they are also fluent in

Undoubtedly, I would now describe myself with the word naivety. I am very naïve and do not notice the most obvious things happening around me. I really hope that it is caused by the lack of experience and will eventually pass. In addition, I find myself a kind and caring person because I always want and agree to help people when needed. Furthermore, I really like reading. Sometimes I think that I read too much because I often mix fiction up with reality and in some cases it does not do me any good. As novels have such a great influence on me, I often misunderstand people in reality. Also, I quite often jump into conclusions. For example there was this awfully embarrassing situation that happened to me when I thought that General Tilney killed his wife. I was very ashamed of myself. To sum up, I lack of experience and am too keen on reading novels. This is what makes me so naïve and sometimes causes trouble. Even when I think I should read less I just cannot help it
