Jutustus " My dream house"

My dream house My dream house is located about few kilometers from the big city, in a very picturesque place near the endless river or bottomless lake. I dream about place like this as I prefer clean fresh air and unpolluted water. I don't find myself very happy in little and uncomfortable house, so my dream house is very cozy, comfortable, well planned, with lost of gigantic windows. If you asked about rooms, I must say that I don't need many of them, but it is very important that all these rooms were as large as it is possible. The modern front door opens into a spacious hall, where are many portraits of family members, exotic flowers. As far as bedrooms they are very large, comfortable and elegant as well. There are soft, huge beds and many antique things. It makes me to feel comfortable. By the way, every bedroom has bathroom and toilet, which are spacious and modern. There are a majority of m...

My perfect room

My perfect room My perfect room would be spacious. On the wall would be white wallpaper with light pink flowers. There would be a wooden floor with some fluffy carpets and a massive bed with a soft fluffy duvet wrapped in white, freshly washed 100% cotton covers. There would be a big fireplace with a beautiful painting on the wooden mantelpiece. An overstuffed cosy armchair with a soft blanket would be in front of the fireplace and a big cupboard would be next to the bed. There would be no technology because I would like there to be some peace and silence.

My dream home

My dream home My dream home would be a beautiful two-storey detached house in a small town. The house is surrounded by a nice garden full of gorgeous plants and a lot of types of flowers. I would also hire a gardener, so I can have time for my other duties. There are many spacious rooms in my house that are in well-lit and pastel tones. There are a living room, a kitchen and lightly coloured guest room on the ground floor. On the first floor there is also a living room, two nurseries, a toilet and a study with a bookshelf that covers the entire wall. I would hang pictures of my travelles on the walls, so it's easier to talk about my trips to my friends and family. As I'm the quiet type I would like to have the house in the suburbs. I think it would be nice if it were to be a gated community.

Dream trip My wish would be to go on a trip to the Caribbean Islands with my friends. I would like to go away for a while from Estonia where its cold and windy and enjoy the sun, warm weather, the beautiful sea and the cloudless sky on the beach. The trip to the Carribbean should certainly be with a plane but we would need a car and someone who could drive us. The suncream would protect us from the unsafe sun and we would lie in the shade on palm trees. We wouldn't be interested of sightseeing on this trip because it's a place where you can have much fun and relax. And of course i wouldn't say no to a ride on a luxurious yacht.. We wouldn't stay the nights at the beach, but in some overpriced and luxurious hotel. The rooms would be spacious and the windows would be wide and of course there should be a large balcony where we could enjoy the sunsets. The roomservice would be friendly and t...

My favourite room

My favourite room I love my house and especially my own room. I am very interested in Feng Shui and I try to decorate my room for this style. When you decorate room you put there a piece of your soul. With room, where I moved five years ago, I have a lot of memories. The main object of the bedroom is a bed. Remember like in evening I lied there and read books, studied, dreamed. Sometimes mom came to me. She could always listen to me and give advice. From time to time we just lied in bed, talked about life, education, love and boys. My room is bright, simple and very comfortable. It's spacious, but not huge, on the other hand it's big enough to have a bookcase, where on shelves are neatly stacked books. We have a good library, where are collected the most interesting works like fiction, mysteries, classis and adventure literature. There are a lot of my favourite books that I have reread many times. I really ado...

Complain letter

Dear Madam or Sir I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the service of your company. My complaints concern holidays on Tenerife. To start with, your travel agent assured me that I would stay in a luxurious hotel situated not far from the Golden Beach. I was also promised a spacious room with a terrace and windows overlooking the ocean. However, the hotel turned out to be small and old and it was situated close to a very busy street, furthermore, very far from the ocean. It took 40 minutes to walk to the beach. Moreover, there was a balcony instead of a terrace in my room. In addition, the staff of the hotel neglected their duties. I had to ask three times for new bed linen and when I asked for a wake-up call at 6 o'clock, I was woken up at 9 o'clock. When I complained about it, a receptionist treated me very rudely. Secondly, the choice of food served at the hotel restaurant was very limited. There were hardly any ...

My Ideal House - Kirjand

My Ideal House My ideal house would be a modern detached or semi-detached one. I don't know which of them yet because both points have their advantages and disadvantages. For example, detached house is great for privacy, but could become a little lonely on your own, whereas semi-detached house will offer you an opportunity to be friends with your neighbor. However, you never know who they might be they might throw dance parties in their house or be annoying in some other way. For the location, I would prefer residential area it would be nice and peaceful there. In addition to this, civilization and neighbors are close in case I needed them. My ideal house would be a spacious one. I would like three or four bedrooms, if that would be possible. One of them would be master bedroom, another one would be for guests and the remaining one or two would be nurseries. I would also want my house to have...

Letter

Dear......, Thank you for your letter. It was nice to hear from you. I am writing to inform you that I have already found a very nice house where you can spend your summer holiday. Firstly, the house is not very close to me, but it is located in our area. The address is 32 Beech Lane, Deighton. It takes about 5 minutes by bus and 20 minutes on foot to get my place. Also, the house is located near the Comarket and behind the park. So it does not take much time to go to the shop and you have a very good opportunity to go jogging in the morning. Further, the rent is not expensive, only 800£ a month. Secondly, the house is very nice and spacious. It is a new stone building house or as the owner calls it, a castle. You do not have to worry about furnish, because it is fully- furnished. It has 2 floors and it contains 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Then, it has a large dining room with fireplace, modern fitted large kit...

Dear Madam, I wish to rent a 3 bedroom apartment in Võru city. I would like apartment to be situated near the city centre, bigger stores, kindergarten and school. It needs to be with all the comforts and in new or renovated condition. Kitchen should be big and spacious plus bathroom and toilet needs to be separate. Apartments with balcony or terrace, large windows and separate rooms are more appealing for me. I prefer to rent for a longer period of time with reasonable price. Range should not be over 400 which includes public utility bills. It is important that apartment has full kitchen furniture, cellar and garage for car. Neighbourhood needs to be peaceful, with nice neighbours and good public transport access. Do you have a webpage, where I could see latest apartment ads with pictures and your other offers? I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, Maris Springtime vacation in London In ...

My perfect home must be located near Tallinn because then i can go to the capital city anytime. My perfect home must be surrounded with green nature. In the garden there should be natural junipers. On the first floor there are living room, kitchen, dining room, wardrobe, bathroom ( with stew ) and toilet. A letter to a friend describing a house for rent

Dear Michelle, Thank you for your letter, it was very nice to hear some good news from you. We're very glad that you are happy with the choice you made, by starting a new life abroad, with having many interesting chances there. You also wrote that you miss all of your friends and relatives, who you had to say goodbye to... Thinking of that, I have a marvellous suggestion for you! I know you've always wanted to have a nice summer cottage and why not to have it, here, in Estonia? I've found a lovely summerhouse for you! I also remember how much you adored these cute little hills we have in Estonia, so this lovely cottage is also on the foot of one and it's surrounded by a beautiful nature, you like to take photos of, too. It's located in the South-Estonia, near the Võru. This house has a view on a lake, where you can ride a boat and fish. It's surrounded by a little garden, in front of the house there are some beautiful roses...

Theaters of Estonia

Theaters of Estonia Jõhvi Theater Jõhvi Concert H all, situated in a small town Jõhvi near N arva, is the youngest, yet the most modern theater in Estonia. With it's large multi-functional transforming scene and stunning unusual architecture it became an important art and cultural center not only of Ida Virumaa, but of the whole Estonia in a very short time. The colourful history of Jõhvi Concert H all dates back to the year 1491, when Jõhvi M anor with its historicist features stood on the spot of the modern Jõhvi Concert H ouse. The manor buildings were surrounded by a spacious park, which can be found next to the concert house even today, reminding us of the former glory of the manor. In cooperation with the Estonian M inistry of Culture and Jõhvi Government the Jõhvi Theater was built in 2004 and first opened its doors on the 8th of October 2005 under the management of Aivar M äethe Director of Estonian Concert. The Great Guild/Suurgild

The Great Guild Liisbeth Kallakmaa The Great Guild Medieval Tallinn's social institutions were guilds and brotherhoods, whose main function was to provide members with social interactions and ensure their rights, but also played an important political and economic role. Tallinn had three important guilds - The Great Guild, St. Canute's Guild and St. Olaf's guild. The Great Guild was the youngest among them, founded in the 14th century, but soon became the biggest and most important. It was founded as an organization of the wealthiest merchants and shipowners. The name of the Great Guild was introduced in the late 15th century. There were close ties between the guild and the town rules: only members of the Great Guild had the right to belong to the town council and could be elected for mayor. Tallinn's small coat of arms is also the Great Guild's coat of arms. Guild was led by Alderman, with the assistance of t...

Tallinn town hall

TALLINN TOWN HALL Tallinn Town Hall is the only surviving Gothic town hall in Northern Europe. Built in the heart of Tallinn, next to a marketplace, the Town Hall has witnessed trade and social activities for over 700 years. It has still remained the most important representational building in town. The building history of the Town Hall goes back to the 13th century, but it acquired its medieval appearance in 140204. It was as early as 1248 when King Eric IV Ploughpenny of Denmark granted the Lübeck Charter to Tallinn. Relying on that document a town council was elected from amongst merchants of the Hanse and started convening in the Town Hall. It is possible to state on the basis of research findings that a meeting place of the magistracy and a goods depot in the form of a small, fortified town hall, constructed of local limestone, existed in its present location already in the mid-13th century. The town hall first mentioned in a re...

Report To:headmaster From:Liis Subject: Suggested improvements Date:2nd May 2011 The purpose of this report is to comment on conditions in the college and to make recommendations for possible improvements. Although conditions are generally good, there are one or two problems. Firstly, in large classes, there is not much desk space. Secondly, the classrooms tend to be darl, especially in the winter months. Finally, during video lessons, some of us find it difficult to see screen properly. There are number of changes that could be made in order to improve the situation. To begin with, I would strongly suggest that the number of students per class kept to below ten. In this way... To sump up, while most of us are satisfied with the conditions, I feel that above improvements would make things even better. If these suggestions were carried out... Construction Construction of Burj Al Arab began in 1994. In 1999 the tower that resembles the sail of a dhow, became the world's tallest hotel with the height of 321 m. Art Museum of Estonia

Art Museum of Estonia Art Museum of Estonia was founded on November 17th, 1919, but it was not until 1921 that it got its first permanent building the Kadriorg Palace, built in the 18th century. In 1929 the palace was expropriated from the Art Museum in order to rebuild it as the residence of the President of Estonia. The Art Museum of Estonia was housed in several different temporary spaces, until it moved back to the palace in 1946. In September, 1991 the Kadriorg Palace was closed, because it had totally deteriorated by then. At the end of the year the Supreme Council of the Republic of Estonia decided to guarantee the construction of a new building for the Art Museum of Estonia in Kadriorg. Untill then the Knighthood House at Toompea Hill served as the temporary main building of the Art Museum of Estonia. The exhibition there was opened on April 1, 1993. Art Museum of Estonia premanently closed down the exhibitions in that buildi...

Thank you, Martha! T...
