helplessness. Suddenly, and it all seemed to happen at the same time, the music stopped and the clock struck twelve. As Ella had been dreading the room became silent for a minute. She couldn't force herself to move. All her worst nightmares were becoming real. She started hearing all kinds of voices from the attic. All at once the barking dogs went mad; she heard a crazed laughter coming from the attic and a thump. That was the last thing Ella remembered when she woke up- she had fainted and now when she looked at the timepiece she noticed it was five o'clock. It was still dark outside and the house was silent. There was a noise she couldn't identify coming from the garden and then some footsteps and a weak knock on the door. For a second Ella couldn't decide whether she was dreaming or not and if she should react to the knock. She then, very slowly got up and went to the door. She saw nothing from the peephole- it was too dark outside
When I was reading the book I felt like I had been to Alaska, the writer really knows how to use the right adjectives to make the reader feel the cold and dark Alaskan winter. In my view, the book achieved its goal perfectly. The author knew exactly what kind of a message she wanted to bring to the reader and I believe that she succeeded. One specific point, which left me a bit confused was Fauna, the snow girl. I still can not understand how and why she woke up and became a real person. I guess this is the fact, which makes this book special, but I would have liked the book more if the author would have added a story about how she woke up. In general it was book that was a perfect combination of happiness and sadness. Happiness and sadness were in balance, however the book ended sadly. I would recommend this book to everyone, I see it as one of those books, which you have to add to your have-to-read list.

Snowdrift was caused by strong wind, and it was very interesting to look how everything was going white. It had been a long time since I saw snow, so I was looking forward to see it.But I didn't expect it to come down in such huge quantity. I could sit behind the window for hours, observing the power of nature. It made me forget everything negative I felt that time and gave me an unforgetable memorial. Travel to Riga on 26 October I woke up 15minutes later than my father. My eyes were still closed and I couldn't open them before I got a cup of hot coffee. At 8 o'clock we started driving to Riga.We also had GPS in our car, so it wasn't so boring, because it had some voice commands on and it was interesting to watch the route we were driving on. The weather was cloudy. In Pärnu one of turbosensors broke down.So we had a little lack of enginepower and it was pretty hard to past some cars with nonturbo diesel.

My charity day If somebody has always had everything what he needs, then he does not think much about that how other people can make out with their lives and needs. That is why me and my friend Joan decided to devote one day to make other people happier. 42 I was waiting that day for months and when my clock alarm rang that morning I was so excited about what is going to happen. I woke up at 11 a.m, ate my breakfast and then went to shower. We decided to do the charity in Old Town, our destination was sell as much our clothes, what we do not need anymore, as we can. All the money, what we received, went to charity. 76 In the beginning we set up our clothes and then we started to waiting our first clients. It was our fist time to do something like that in the public and at the start we did not know how people would react for that activity

A day out to remember It was a sunny summer day. I woke up, like always, brushed my teeth and went to eat. After all that, I chill in my computer, chat with friends and just watched TV. I had a phone call, I was a little bit surprised because it was my old friend with who I didn't see a long time. she called me, to ask, whether i want to go out with her. I agree and started to dress. When I stepped out from the house, I looked around and see that day was wonderful. When I was walking by the old lady, she was smiling to me, I smiled to her too

Her memory was clear. She remembered that night when she fell in a coma well, like that would be yesterday. Karen`s friends and her parents were very happy about it. But Karen did not know that she had a daughter and it took time to her to get used with it. Karen`s body was weak and she could not move. The journalists were very interested to get an interview from Karen. And finally she agreed to go along with a talkshow. She answered to all the questions which she were asked and when

A memory of my childhood Elizabeth Grünbaum It was snowing outside and the bright winter sun shined into the room through the curtains. I woke up early that beautiful day, because there were guests coming over. Like in any other winter morning i rushed to the window sill to see if the dwarves have left something in my christmas stocking. I remember exactly, what was in there that day, it was kinder surprise. I liked kinder surprises a lot, because the chocolate would melt in your mouth and there was a surprise between the two halves of the chocolate. At 1 o'clock, the guests arrived. They were my grandparents
First snow It was unusually hot in my small bedroom when I woke up. As I looked at the clock, it was only 7.30 in the morning and I was still dead tired from my last night`s birthday party. I didn´t feel any strenght left in my muscles but nevertheless I walked across my bedroom to turn the radiator down. That was strange. The heat wasn´t on. When I opened the window to let in some cooling autumn air I saw something slowly falling from the sky. It was too early for the first snow and also the weather was also unusually warm
At the beach she saw red bubbles shaped as big basketballs. Crossing beach made her journey much harder. Finally she reached Far Far Away. It was really snowy there. Despite the snow there were green flowers everywhere. She took some green flowers and began to run back home. Five days went along before Cassy came back. Sebastian and old woman were very happy to see her. Cassy gave the flowers to old woman. She ate the flowers and fell asleep. When old woman woke up next day, she was cured and healthy again. Old woman thanked Cassy many times and it was time for her to leave. After she was gone, Cassy and Sebastian saw a little brown bag on the table, it was full of gold. It was a gift to Cassy from helping the old woman. Cassy thought to herself, that yesterday was a very nice day indeed and they lived happily ever after.
Sally woke up in the morning; she looked at the clock and realized that she has been late to the work. She shook a leg - took a shower, grabbed a sandwich, hopped into her car and drove away. Then she almost ran over a stranger man. She braked the car and blew the horn. Then she realized that it was Michael, a nice handsome guy from the beach party at last weekend. If it's not one thing, it's another. She stooped out of the car window to apologize. She had to hurry but wanted to be nice and polite. She said, "Sorry, Michael I didn't noticed you, are you okay?" "Yes, but I will be better if you'll come out with me tonight, would you?" asked Michael. "Sure!" "Well, then I'll come and pick you up at 7pm!" Then Sally drove away, thinking about what she had done. She promised yesterday to her 10-years old daughter that she will watch a movie with her and now Sally didn't know what to do, her agreeing was just a slip of the tongue. ...

Today was one of those days where everything went wrong. I had prepared myself for a job interview for a long time because I wanted that job so much. One day before the interview I set the alarm clock at 7.00am, so that I would have enough time to get ready. The interview started at 9.00am. I woke up in the morning because I heard a door bell and wondered who could come so early. I saw my neighbour standing at the door holding a newspaper. ,,You always come at 8 o'clock. What are you doing here so early?" I asked. She raised her eyebrows, felt really confused and said she had come as usual. I glanced at my watch and understood that my alarm clock hadn't rang. My job interview would start in one hour and I had to hurry on a bus.
The next day, Mia told Lilly about Mr. Gianini and her mother and Lilly's older brother Michael overheard the conversation. Thankfully, Michael promised he won't tell anyone that her mom was dating with the algebra teacher. One day, the date happened, Mia tried to stay up at night until her mom comes home, so she can ask about whether Mr. Gianini put his tongue into her mothers mouth. She was so tired and it was so late, that she went to sleep. The next morning, Mia woke up and saw that her mother was already up and making breakfast, it was another huge thing for Mia, because usually her mom gets up later than her. So, they talked about the date. Everything had gone well, and when Mia asked about the kissing part, her mom blushed. Mia was happy that the date went well and that her mother was so happy, but that ment, that Mr. Gianini and Mia's mom would go on another date.
She told him that the better he behaved, the better was he treated and he always had to do best of him to his master. One day a man took him with him to the Birtwick Park. There lived other horses and the Beauty became friends with the others. The Black Beauty was a good horse and everyone loved him. One morning a master Gordon had to go to the city with Beauty. When they arrived to the hotel the master put the horse to the stable and went to bed. But suddenly the Black Beauty woke up and smelt smoke. The stable was on fire. Luckily everything went good and nobody got hurt. When they arrived to the Birtwick then everything went like always. The Black Beauty did work and got groomed. Then one day the master led him to Earls Hall where were many stables. It was a new place. There were very kind grooms and good food. But then one day Rauben Smith took him and rode to the city with him and when they rode back that man was drunk. Smith was very angry
black music. Clearly they were little quixotic, but still we crossed our paths and went to the concert together. The show was amazing, I've never felt better! After it was all over, me and my new friends from the 70's went back to Central Park to lay back and feel the pleasant nightlife. I still felt little dizzy from my travel from the future which I kept in secret for the people in the past, and before I could realise I fell asleep. When I woke up again I was back in my laboratory. I don't know if it was real or if it was just a dream, but it was the best trip of my life!
The door was very small so I needed to worship to get inside. Bob’s house was very nice. He went to the kitchen to make some tea. At the same time I went to the living room and sat on the couch. While I was looking around Bob came with a teapot and two teacups. He poured me some tea. It tasted very good. After a few minutes I was feeling very sleepy and I fell of the couch. At this moment I woke up and realised it was just a dream. past continuous and present perfect

But the truth isn't so fabulous and spotless as the reality our little heroine had to face. Yes, there is proof that she lived, but beauty? I'm afraid it's just for illustration, because as a matter of fact her father was an ordinary farmer, and logically she had as much beauty as a goat was a cow. It means she was considered quite ugly. One day, after the tiring work in the garden, she felt very dizzy all of sudden and soon fainted under the heating sunlight. When she woke up, she was lying on the floor of a beautiful castle. There were flowers everywhere, but no doors as she noticed soon. "Where oh Earth am I?" the girl wondered now. She wasn't scared, just tired of the work she had to do on her father's farm. Suddenly, strange music of a lonely violin started playing. The melody was so unhappy that Shatelie wanted to cry. She didn't see anyone, yet the music was so close to her heart!

Benjamin Martin was a veteran of the FrenchIndian War and a widower who raised his seven children. Gabriel, the oldest, wanted to join the American forces without his father's permission. He returned home after two years, stumbling wounded into the family home. That night, a skirmish between the British and the patriots woke the Martins and they gave care to the wounded of both sides the next morning. never lived so merrily (besides that I never got so much) as I have done this plague time Pepys suggested that the Navy Office should evacuate to Greenwich, although he did offer to remain in town himself. The Great London fire In the early hours of 2 September 1666, Pepys was woken by his servant who had spotted a fire in the Billingsgate area . He taught that the fire wasn't serious and turned back to bed. Soon a servant woke him up again and told him that 300 houses had been destroyed and London bridge was threatened. Pepys went to the Tower to get a better view. Without returning home, he took a boat and observed the fire for over an hour . Pepys became the first person who informed the King about the fire. Pepys also started arranging the removal of his possessions. Many of his valuables, including his diary, were sent to friend of the Navy Office at Bethnal Green
Just like that when she had entered the wood she couldn't tell her own name but for her delight when she exited the name came right back to her. Alice had then reached the Fourth Square and met TWEEDLEDUM and TWEEDLEDEE. Alice knew them from a short rhyme. Before acting just like the rhyme had said they managed to tell Alice about the sleeping Red King. DUM and DEE were quite sure of themselves that Alice was only a dream of the King and if he woke up Alice would disappear. It was time for Alice to move on if she wanted to reach the Eighth Square before dark. She suddenly met the White Queen who then turned into a sheep, who was a shopkeeper and the shop and everything turned into a boat. Alice had reached the Fifth Square- here she only had to oar a bit and was then given a chance to buy an egg. She bought the egg that turned out to be Humpty Dumpty and Alice had reached the Sixth Square. Humpty Dumpty helped Alice
