I haven't heard from you in a while. I am writing to tell you about my recent health problem I had food poisoning. I got it when I visited Mexico. I ate something that probably caused it. I am not really sure what it was. I had to drink plenty of fluids and rest a lot. I was down with that poisioning for two days. On the third day I could finally turn back to my normal life and start eating again. That poisoning was very terrible. I felt extremely bad and mostly I was sad about ruining my vacation. Dear Sir/Madam, I and my friend visited your restaurant yesterday to celebrate the beginning of our vacation. Unfortunately, the substandard food served in your restaurant really dampened our spirits. Firstly, I ordered salad, but it was not fresh. Furthermore, the vegetables had not been washed. I found pieces of dirt on the lettuce leaves. Then, I was served a really tasteless steak. It was tough and chewy. I called the waiter to bring me new steak. After waiting, the waiter finally came and gave me a new steak. To my astonishment, it was as bad as the first one.
Film review A film I have enjoyed recently is The Beach. What made me want to see it was the title first of all, and I also heard that my favourite actor Leonardo Di Caprio plays in that film. It was directed by Danny Boyle and it stars two young actors, Leonardo Di Caprio and Robert Carlyle. The film is set in Thailand. The main character is a young American man who travels to Thailand in search of the perfect vacation. During a stay in Bangkok, he meets a mysterious man who tells him about a secret beach. Richard then heads for southern Thailand in search of the island. Along the way, he meets a young French couple, Françoise and Étienne and he shares the secret of the island with them. The three then start to find the island and finally they get there. Heading further inland, they find a hidden beach where a small clan of travellers has settled. When I was little, our family traveled a lot. We lived in the USA for one year but unfortunately, I can't remember too much. We visited America another time too, when I was in the second grade. That was very cool and we visited many places. I have also been to Paris, with my choir. We went the Eiffel tower too. A few years ago, our friends who live in Norway, invited us to visit them. We agreed and went there in winter and spent Christmas and New Year there. That was one amazing vacation to remember too. When I was very young, my parents took me to Sweden many times, but I can't remember that at all.
