Estonia traditional costumes

In Estonia traditional costume denotes mainly the festive peasant dress of the 19th century, which in its time referred besides social status also to national background, as the ruling class were mainly German at the time. The former peasant costume of regional variation has become today a national symbol and has turned due to its altered function into a national dress. Estonian country folk produced their clothing mainly from home-spun woollen or linen fabric: shirts and married women's head-wear was mostly made from linen, while various outer garments, gloves, stockings and socks, were made from wool. The majority of the clothes remained undyed for a long time: linen garments were bleached white, while woollen outer garments were mainly sheep-brown or black. The wool for making skirts was dyed with herbal dyes. The bedstraw root was particularly widely used to produce red colouring. Indigo was the first dye to be widely bought during the 18th century.

I've been taking French lessons this year. Contrasts with Present Perfect Simple There may be little contrast when some state verbs are used. How long have you lived here? How long have you been living here? Some verbs (especially sit, lie, wait and stay) prefer the continuous form. There may be a contrast between completion and incompletion, especially if the number of items completed is mentioned. Completed: emphasis on achievement I've ironed five shirts this morning. Incomplete or recently completed: emphasis on duration I've been ironing my shirts this morning. 4 Time expressions with Present Perfect Meaning with Present Perfect tenses is associated with certain time expressions. Report ehk aruanne

Report The aim of this report is to give information about what kind of items should be sold as our school's souvenirs. Many people think that items sold as souvenirs should be items that a person uses on a daily basis. The best items to sell would be mugs, pens and T-shirts. Our school emblem is an eagle spreading it's wings, therefore, the souvenirs should have a picture of an eagle on them. Another option would be to print our school's initials on those items. Initials do not take much space and above all they are practical. It is believed that red and yellow are irritating colors, blue and green on the other hand are soothing. Keeping that in mind, the souvenirs should be in blue and green shades. Text on

Hi, my name is Elsa Clay and I studied at an all-girls Catholic high school .And here are some answers to the questions about my school. First, yes, we wear uniforms what consist of button-down blue or white blouses or polo shirts and a pleated blue and green plaid skirt. At our school we do not wear a miniskirt teamed with thigh-high socks, pink lipstick and a bare midriff. But we do have casual days when we can dress down at least once a month. Sometimes some of us are barley recognizable without uniform. Second, no boys in our school, and it's a relief not having to deal with the distractions during class time. There are two all-boys school in neighborhood and they hold open dances that are great for checking out

Shopping in my life

When I buy new clothes, I look for quality clothes, which last longer. My tastes aren't very expensive and I'm not exactly into brand names. I usually buy clothes in Terranova. I spend quite a lot, but I always think carefully before I buy something because my family doesn't have much money to waste. I always go to the sales. When I need some money, I ask my dad or mum and they give me some. I don't have my own credit card but my dad has one. I love fashion clothes. I like jeans, sweat shirts and tops. I wear them every day at school and my favourite colours are pink and purple. I enjoy buying clothes very much. I always have fun shopping experience. Usually I spend a very little money on snacks or sweets. I don't help my parents with the household chores. My mother buys food and household goods for a family of three. She makes her shopping spree at the supermarket or at the local grocery store. At the end of her shopping spree she pays at the checkout stand by credit card

Estonians wear warm clothes when it's 25 degrees Celsius in April just because it's April, or wear shorts and t-shirts when it's barely 10 degrees in July just because it's July. The old habit of being "fashionably late" is no longer acceptable. One is always on time. However Estonians become complete opposites of themselves when they get drunk. In my opinion, they think positively, love and enjoy their life, and try to take everything of it. Mexico is full of sociable, warm and cheerful people and heritage cities. To begin with, Mexico lies about 10 000 kilometres away from Estonia and the climate there varies from tropical to desert. So, you definitely do not have to take any warm clothes there, usual shirts are fine enough. On the other hand, tight or low cut clothing is never appropriate there. When in Mexico, respect the locals' sense of time and traditions. The fact is, if you naturally speak very quickly or you have a forceful or sharp tone of voice, become aware of how you are coming across. Firstly, Mexicans are very warm and friendly, they make a lot of physical contact, like touching shoulders or holding another's arm. That might be uncomfortable for Estonians, but

Originally an amateur side based in London, they joined the Amateur Football Association rather than aligning themselves with the Football League and the FA Cup. Rather than disband though, Corinthians toured the world, inspiring the small Brazilian side in São Paulo, who renamed themselves Sports Club Corinthians Paulista in 1910 and are now one of the most important clubs in South American football, and even encouraging Spain's fledgling Real Madrid CF to copy their trademark white shirts. Similarly, arguably the most successful Italian side in the world, AC Milan, were the brainchild of Alfred Edwards who, in 1899, established the Milan Cricket and Football Club. Such was Britain's worldwide influence that the Argentina Football Association was founded in 1893 by Scotland-born Alexander Watson Hutton. It is for reasons like these that football can arguably be considered the greatest export in Britain's long history

Theft combined with imprecise inventory management can create a significant shortfall in actual versus expected goods available. Within the retail environment goods shrinkage is widely perceived to account for up to one per cent of stock, representing a significant dent in profit margin. (b) Benefits to Consumers: Value Innovation in customer service Marks & Spencer, a British retailer, has just extended a trial in which tags are applied to suits, shirts and ties for men, allowing retailers to monitor and replenish stock levels with far more accuracy at the end of each day to make sure that every size, style and color remains in stock. Beyond improving efficiencies, the smart tags could help to drive sales. One example of improving customer service: a customer could take a tagged suit to a kiosk, which could then suggest a matching shirt and tie. Minimizing errors in delivery

well as hunting dogs and slaves, to the European mainland. The two main trade outlets eastwards to Europe were the settlements along the Thames River in the south and on the Firth of Forth in the north. It is no accident the present-day capitals of England and Scotland stand on or near these two ancient trade centres. For money the Celts used iron bars, until they began to copy the Roman coins they saw used in Gaul (France). According to the Romans, the Celtic men wore shirts and breeches (short trousers) and striped or checked cloaks fastened by a pin. It is possible that the Scottish dress and tartan developed from this cloak. Notes 1. The Celts [kelts] (Gr. Keltoi, Lat. Celtae) were a group of peoples and tribes (belonging to the Indo-European language group) which had come from Central Europe or further east and settled all of Western Europe including present-day France

room would be empty. Clearly it was his room-a fuck pad outfitted with everything he'd need to have a good time with the women who served that purpose in his life. As I pushed to my feet and walked over to the closet, I heard the glass shower door open in the bathroom, then close. I caught the two knobs of the louvered walnut closet doors and pushed them apart. There was a small selection of men's clothes hanging on the metal rod, some business shirts and slacks, as well as khakis and jeans. My temperature dropped and a sick misery spread through my orgasmic high. The right side dresser drawers held neatly folded T-shirts, boxer briefs, and socks. The top one on the left side held sex toys still in their packages. I didn't look at the drawers below that one. I'd seen enough. I pulled on my pants and stole one of Gideon's shirts. As I dressed, my mind went through the steps I'd learned in therapy: Talk it out

daydreaming, watching the sunlight play on the red-barked trees. I sketched inattentively along the margins of my homework. After a few minutes, I suddenly realized I'd drawn five pairs of dark eyes staring out of the page at me. I scrubbed them out with the eraser. "Bella!" I heard someone call, and it sounded like Mike. I looked around to realize that the school had become populated while I'd been sitting there, absentminded. Everyone was in t-shirts, some even in shorts though the temperature couldn't be over sixty. Mike was coming toward me in khaki shorts and a striped Rugby shirt, waving. "Hey, Mike," I called, waving back, unable to be halfhearted on a morning like this. He came to sit by me, the tidy spikes of his hair shining golden in the light, his grin stretching across his face. He was so delighted to see me, I couldn't help but feel gratified.

me look like Bruce Lee from Enter the Dragon. Bruce in dire need of Neosporin. Now, less than 10 hours later, three of the gashes had disappeared completely, and the last and deepest was barely visible. Strange. The strangeness started much earlier, well before the bedroom, at The Americano restaurant. Friday at 8:00 P.M. brought the crowds, and the alpha investment bankers were ghting the alpha lawyers for female attention everywhere inside Hotel Vitale. The pressed shirts and dresses spilled from the outdoor patio into the restaurant, where we had reservations. It took a chaperone using football-like blocking to get us to our booth in a secluded back corner. The catch-up chat with Vesper looked like this: HER: "How are you?" ME: "Unbelievable. But I need to give you fair warning. My biochemistry is very different from the last time you saw me. I feel ... well, superhuman." HER (EYEBROWS RAISED): "Oh reeeeally? Details, please." Yes, really
