Life away from home may be alluring but hard

The best thing about living away from home is that you have more freedom. You can set your own rules, stay up late, invite friends to your place and have parties whenever you want, but you need to be mature enough to handle it. Disadvantage is that you may feel homesick. Another disadvantage is that you will have to pay rent, bilss, and buy your own food which will definitely affect you in the financial aspect. Finally, another aspect is convenience. You will not have many things that you used to have at home. You will have less free time for other activities because you will spend more time doing housework, balancing the budget and organizing things by yourself. In conclusion, even though living away from home can be good since it gives you a feeling of freedom and autonomy, living at home has more advantages contrasted with it.

Honesty is always the best policy

Honesty is always the best policy Honesty is one of the first things that parents teach their children, and it is for a good reason. They say that honesty is the most valuable attribute in a person. But is it really the best policy? It isn´t always easy to remain totally honest in difficult situations. We have all lied to our close friends and parents, just for our own good. But the truth is that you always get caught with lying and it only makes things worse. Being dishonest may lead to serious consequenses amd you have to deal with them afterwards. Honesty isn´t only important in your personal life, but also in business. Being honest will help you get a good job and respect. Although there are ways to earn money dishonestly, it won´t give us a good social status. Best feeling in life is when you are respected, but if you are caught lying then people won´t look at you the same way. It may take a long time to build the trust again.

"Wealth does not bring happiness"

That is true that life would be easier and also we cannot live without money. But if we think about it seriously, wealth does not make us happy.Friends, family and relationships in your life make you happy. All that wealth can get you is material goods. First of all wealth does not get you real friends,it gets you people who like you for your money.I am also sure that it does not make your realtionships better with your family or old friends. So wealth can make you lose the most important things in life. Being wealthy is not only a bad thing. It can make you happy, but it is mostly temporary. With money you can to a lot of travel, also you can buy what you like despite the price. I think the best thing about being wealthy is to get to do what you like. To conclude wealth can ruin realtionships but it also lets you do things you like. So wealth can make you happy but it does not bring you a lifetime of happyness like family and real friends do.So it has really good and bad sides.

Fast Development of modern technology- a blessing or a curse?

Fast Development of modern technology- a blessing or a curse? Science and technology have brought about tremendous changes in people's lives. Scientific research continues to explore the fields that people previously undreamed of. Fifty years ago, few people could even imagine things like computers, lasers and space-scuttles. Now all these newly invented technologies are benefiting people all over the world. In a word, advanced science and technology has made man master of the globe. As is known to all, each coin has two sides. When we are enjoying the remarkable wonders which science and technology has brought us, we are suffering at the same time from a lot of troubles. Hamlet’s View on Life and Death

Hamlet's View on Life and Death Hamlet has a everlasting dilemma " to be or not to be" he is dissatisfied with life and lists many things that trouble him but he is not sure what death will bring him. He is thinking that the experience of death itself maybe worse than life itself Hamlet is a melancholic, always thinking about the dark things in life (he always dresses in black, he's fascinated when he finds the old clown's skull, etc.) I think that Hamlet does not really value his life so much because he is so consumed with his desire to kill Claudius that he doesn't have time for real life. Hamlet's view of death influences his morality: if all people die, no matter what they do, then one's actual life becomes less significant than its purpose. In Hamlet's case,

damage your brain or reduce men's potential in getting siblings. It is also belieaved that mobile phones may cause some sleeping problems. Another, more usual problem what comes with cellphones is that they are expensive to use and when the battery is dead, it is completely useless. Also if parents trust their children to use mobile phones at very young age, the may get surprised when they finally see the bill. Because there are many addictive things like games and ringtones etc, what seem very tempting to buy them. All things considered, I think that mobile phones are rather good than bad to it's users. We all know how mobile phones makes everything easier in this fast pace life, but the disadvantages are rather exceptional. I am happy with my mobile phone, but sometimes i reminisce the times without it.

But many of them are absolutely unfriendly with our nature. Due to this situation I had cleaned lakesides many times. Secondly, we should follow some simple rules that everybody know, but still a lot of people does not keep. I do not like to throw litter away where it is not allowed and may cause pollution. When I see some of my friends doing this then I explain usually that it is not good and why. Many of them have understood me. However, all things in nature are dependent on one another and we should act together. Humanity is utterly in contact with a healthy natural environment. So, we have to choose, if we want to let things happen how they are now or let next generations to take the clean air and drink unpolluted water.

It´s caused by big factories, a lot cars and deficient environment ordinance. To decrease air pollution we need to use less cars and more public transport. Eutrophication It means water enrichment of nutrient. In eutrophic water there is less oxygen and water quality low. There are some things to improve it: · To disable phosphate use in detergents · Eliminate sources of pollution Example, Estonia eutrophic lakes are Võrtsjärv and Vasula järv. cars, people do not pay enough attention to it. When the levels of pollution are too high, it may cause some serious diseases. The second aspect is that people fell quite a lot of trees, but that is not so big problem. In Estonia there are a lot of forests and groves. Also, people are planting new trees all the time and know abot the importance of green. Lastly, one of the issues is that people consume too much and therefore produce a lot of garbage. Most of the people recycle things like plastic, bottles and paper, but some do not know or care what kind of damage growing landfills can make. In conclusion it can be said, that in Estonia there are some environmental problems, but the things are not very bad and fortunately people are thinking about these more every day.

Electronic devices in the classroom: For and against

Electronic devices in the classroom: For and against This is a very difficult question if the electronic devices are good or bad things in the classroom. When I made a list of the pluses and minuses I found that the electronic devices are a very bad idea. The advantages are that children can easily find information and lessons are more interesting. Teachers can show different pictures, movies and other such things. If students do not know the answer they can easily search for it from the internet. Most of the programs are in English and I think thanks to that students vocabulary expands considerably. The disadvantages are that electronic devices ruin children eyes and they are 24/7 behind the computer or social media. The electronic devices take a lot of money because the school and children need to buy them. The teachers have to be always ready to do something else because

But actually none of those are pointless and every thing has a reason. In addition to that, if students could choose the subjects themselves, then some classes would be really empty. For example, a lot of students do not like maths or reading. Math develops logic and then we could imagine how many people would be without logical thinking. And reading books enriches vocabulary, so if people do not read books at all, their vocabulary would be quite small. On the other hand, learning different things like history and bilogy expand people's knowledge greatly. With learning so many different things one's brain and memory develops and that makes a person intelligent. In my opinion, students have to learn different subjects, even those that they find boring and let themselves be after graduating highly educated and smart participant of society.

There were times, when Oliver was kind of caring, kind, considering and helpful but most of the times he was very lonely (except being with Jordana). He wanted his parents to love each other passionately and he had pretty much work with this. Then there was Jordana, a girl who was very unusual. To me she seemed a bit angry and kind of shy. She liked to do things that other girls on her age never would do. That pretty much says the basic things about her. Oliver parents were weirder than Oliver. They rarely talked to each other. This movie was weird to me. I didn't get the main idea of this movie. All that I understand is that Oliver, Jordana and his family were unusual. They lived a life that was full of pain, silence and injustice a life that I would never want to live.

Environmental problems

Environmental problems Many environment problems are caused by human actions. 1. Air pollution. Use public transportation instead of your own when going to work. Air pollution is also drastically reduced by conserving energy. It is the little things, like switching off fans and lights when you are not at home. Electricity causes the burning of large amounts of fossil fuels, which in turn pollute the air. Solar power is a fantastic solution. Now that solar radiation is at a climactic peak, we can reap power from the sun using solar panel systems. These range from home systems to larger scale systems powering entire communities and cities. 2. Deforestation.

Estonia has got very beatiful nature where we can go hiking or fishing. There are many great places wich you can visit in nature. In nature you can do a lot of things. Where is love there is hapiness

Raido Hiiuväin 11b ,,Where there is love there is hapiness" I think that love is the key to happiness. Very often people think that all kind of material things make them happy, but usually this is wrong. People seem to realise that only then, when they lose a friend or close person. After these situations they become to realise that family, friends and good relationships are the most important. Where there is love there is happiness I totally agree. I think that love can make people feel happy. Money, fancy clothes and sportcars do not make anyone happy without warm and close people around. Usually rich people are not happy at all,

What should be done, that marriage works?

They need to take some time to get to know each other very well, because they might find out, that they are too different for each other. This might lead to divorce, and thats what nobody wants. A couple should always be absolutely sure about their love and dedication, before they make such an important decision. Another suggestion is that partners should be supportive in every possible situation. Almost every marriage has some problems. If they have problems, they should discuss things and find the best solutions. They should be flexible. It depends on appearances, what kind of person are they. Finally, most important thing is that marriage is based on trust. Partners should be loyal to each other and they are ought to be honest and reliable. They should trust each other in every possible situation and they should always be loyal to each other, because affairs with other people can also lead to divorce. So, they both have to be faithful to each other.

When there is no time I can do my work in the morning, in afternoon or in the evening. With that I learn planning and I am more independent. I think one thing you need to have and that is motivation. But sometimes I can lose my tempo and become either angry or sad. I like staying alone and sometimes I retire into my shell. But at the same time I like my friends, I like to laugh and joke. I have got a sense of humour. It means I understand humour and appreciate it. There are many things in our life I like and some I dislike. I like when everything is OK. Being happy is one way of being wise. I like to study because knowledge is useful sometimes. I'm fond of reading as it gives not only knowledge, but wonderful moments of joy and pleasure. James Watt kokkuvõte

Topic No. 3 L.5 James Watt James Watt was born in Scotland in 1736. His father was a mathematical instrument maker. James was a delicate boy and often suffered from severe headaches. That is why he didn't go to school when the other children did, so his parents had to teach him. He liked mathematics and was fond of making things, so his father gave him some tools. James liked to take his toys to pieces and build new things to his own design. At the age of eighteen he decided to become a professional instrument maker. It was very hard to find a teacher. But finally he found an instrument maker in London who took him on as an apprentice. After a year he returned to Scotland and became a mathematical instrument maker. He also made musical instruments. He was asked to repair a small steam engine which was very primitive and used too much coal and a lot of steam was wasted

You must also figure out what are your values and analyze your experiences. Once you have this framework together, you can start to identify the things that you want in your life and work. Education system shuld find a way to show the fun in learning so children would grow up to be curious people, who are interested in new things and evolving. Practical learning could be a solution for this problem. In addition, schools should should perpare children for actual life. Maybe learning history for a grade A is not so important all the time. Education should put more focus on learning things and problems that students are going have to face when they leave school. In conclusion, there is no perfect solution, but there are some areas that school education system could improve. But that of course takes a lot of time and

Challanges of the 21st century

Challenges of the 21st century We live in 21st century almost for 12 years. It seems like a very long time, but it has gone like a bird and by this time has changed very many things. Honourable audience, I would like to talk about challenges of the 21st century. If we talk about Estonia then in my opinion our first challenge of the 21st century is to stop exodus. But to solve this problem we should ask why is the exodus so high? Answer is simple: salary, unemployment, salary. Very many things depend on incomes, so we head away from our country to find a better place where salarys are higher

When in Rome do as Romans do

When in Rome do as Romans do Australia is located in the South-East of the world and there is very warm, now there is approximately 30°C. Australia has a population of almost 20 million people and they speak in English. Half of the people there are christians. One of the only things I knew about australia are that there is very warm and there are a lot of kangaroos. In Australia the appearance of people is very formal. Men wear dark business suit and a tie, women may wear a dress or a scirt and blouse. For casual clothing there are pants for both men and women. Global Warming

Global Warming One of the biggest issues our planet and its inhabitants are facing nowadays is global warming. Global warming, also often referred to as the greenhouse effect, has not always been a problem. However, over the last centuries, since the Industrial Revolution things have changed. Polar regions are melting, species are dying, climate zones are shifting, migration patterns for animals such as polar bears and birds are being disrupted our world as we know it is changing. Some scientists believe that the climate will reach a tipping point, a point at which even a tiny additional increase would throw the system into violent change. We started doing harmful things and only now do we realize what we have done and what we are doing

The school year should last from 1st September to 22 June

life. But what are the pros and cons, if the school would last longer? Firstly, if the government wants to shorten our summer break, then we would not have enough time to rest or visit our relatives. And when the school starts again in the autumn, then many of us would have no motivation to learn. And because of that, our grades starts to deteriorate. Sometimes the school may be very stressful too and then the summer holiday is very good time to rest and deal with other things. Especially when you do not live at home, during the school and then the summer is the only time you can enjoy being home. But if the summer break is so little, then you can not do anything you want, because you always have to read books or do something else related with school. Still there are also some advantages, when school last so long. Firstly you have one break more, although it does not last very long. However it may make the school year easier, because maybe

Disadvantages and advantages of using smart-phones in a lesson

things faster. A big disadvantage of using smart-phones is that they can affect ones health and capability. For example, when students begin to use smart-phones at early age and the wolume of work is massive, then it is dreadfully harmful to students eyes and they will get tired easily. It can lead to many health issues like farsightedness and headaches. As well, if students are using smart-phones constantly, they can not manage to do simple things without it and it can ruin ones life. Therefore, if people use smart-phones daily, then smart-phones are not recommended for their harmfulness to peoples lives. In conclusion, considering the information above, I think that smart-phones are very useful for students to do their work more effectively and learn faster. At some point it can be devastating to ones progression in life and as well in studies. People should use them reasonably. Liina Kangus III VÕ

Halloween

the night of October 31st. Children wear costumes and they go to peoples' homes saying "Trick or treat!" to ask for candy, sweets. This practice originally involved a threat. A threat is when someone says that they will do something bad if they do not get what they want. In this case the threat could be explained as: "Give me a treat or I will play a trick on you." Children today usually do not play tricks if they do not get treats. However, some children still get up to mischief (pranks or things to make fun of people; like putting toilet paper in trees; writing on windows with soap or throwing eggs at peoples' houses). People sometimes dress up as ghosts, witches, goblins and other scary things for Halloween. A jack-o-lantern is typically a carved pumpkin. It is associated chiefly with the holiday of Halloween. The tradition of carving a lantern started in the British Isles however, it was traditionally carved out of a turnip. They were

Credit cards - a blessing or a curse

Owning a credit card can be a very great thing. Whether buying things online, booking tickets or a hotel room or just needing some emergency cash, having a credit card can be really helpful. However, getting a credit card is also a huge responsibility and if you do not keep an eye on your spendings, you may get into some serious trouble. That raises a question- are credit cards a blessing or a curse? On one hand, credit cards are comfortable and easy to use and they can make buying things much less stressful, because you do not have to carry along huge amounts of cash. Besides, credit cards are really useful in situations where you have an emergency in which you need to buy something, but you just do not have cash with you at the moment. By using a credit card, you can get the thing you need and do not have to worry about money until later. On the other hand, to have a credit card might create a big problem if you do not control your

Diplomat Diplomat's job isn't that easy. You have to be well educated. Knowledge in languages have to be high and you have to speak the language very well if not fluently. Everytime you change country, it is required to know basic things about it, like language, history, differences and so many other important things. In Estonia you can learn how to be a diplomat in Diplomatic School. It is very difficult to get in because every year they accept only around 30 students.
