Environment

I'd like to present the main issues of our planet and today i'll name 5 of them. These are air pollution, water pollution, endangered animals, deforestation and rubbish. Air pollution Firstly, lets talk about air pollution, which endangeres our life in cities and also the forests near by. Cars and factories blow poisoned gas in the air and it mixes with the oxygen, so the air that we breathe, becomes dangerous to our health. The ozone layer around the Earth, there is a special type of oxygen called ,,ozone". Ozone is important because it stops ultraviolett

ENVIRONMENT Peole say that it is better to read newspapers online, because to not use paper so much. Paper are made of woods. Trees are very important to environment, because trees are oxygene producers. People pollute the air by driving the car, using scentes and burning rubbish in the fire. Thats why is very important that the air all the time to be produced. Therefore, people says that it would be better to read newspapers online. People would really think about it more on how to keep their land. We could sort our rubbish more carefully, and certainly to not drop it down. I think all people can do something to save ours Earth. I thint that ours Earth is sick and we killing it. We are recklessly wasting groundwater and

How can we reduce air pollution levels in our cities?

too late. Firstly, there is too much traffic in the city centre and cars emit bad fumes. A good idea would be to introduce parking and riding schemes. In this way there will be fewer cars in the city centre and in longer perspective air will get a lot cleaner. Another problem are factories polluting the air. There are so many factories that there is always smoke covering the city. It would help if we could create industrial parks. In this way less smoke will cover the city. Also a big issue is rubbish being burned. It would be a good idea to introduce a recycling scheme. In result less rubbish will get burned. In conclusion, there are many ways to make our cities cleaner. We all need to do whatever we can and stop blaming other people. As Marie Curie said `'Be less curious about people and more curious about ideas.'' We all can help!

In todays society there`s a huge problem with waste and global warming.

In todays society there`s a huge problem with waste and global warming. Many oh those problems come from us not thinking about what our actions do to the environment. Hazardous waste comes from factories that produce stuff that we really don`t need. We use private cars just to go to the supermarket but we could just take the buss or walk wich is much more environment friendly. The one that we do the most is leaving rubbish around that doesn`t turn into compost. We should save energy by just turning off the electic appliances when we don`t use them. When going to the store we should bring our own canvas bags or just reuse old plastic bags. Reducing the damage to the environment would help our plants and animals from dying out and not to make any acid rains. Lots of people don`t take this stuff seriously and make wrong

In our hectic daily lives, what are filled with work and family we often forget our neighbourhood. It is said, that the neighbourhood is a reflection of the peole who live there. And if it is filled with dust and rubbish, what should others think? Some strict measurements should be taken in order to solve dispution between neighbours for a better neighbourhood. A useful suggestion would be to communicate with your neighbours. A good relationship between one another is beneficial for everyone especially for the neighbourhood. This would lead to neighbours helping each other clean the vicinity. Another way to keep your neighbourhood tidy is to start from yourself. Keep your things in order, your dog on a leash .

on a country's wildlife. Tourists cause pollution and can damage the environment. What is more big companies are ruining the environment to build new facilities. For example, they cut down the forest, destroy the natural landscape in order to build hotels, restaurants for their business. Finally unfortunately some tourists do not always respect traditional cultures, they vandalize, make noise or throw rubbish. In conclusion taking everything into consideration I think tourism is very important and we must be careful not to ruin the place that attract tourists.

Poku and make recommendations based on the opinion poll carried out at Poku. The results of the opinion poll are presented below. Pollution General situation at Poku is satisfactory as the level of water and noise pollution is rather low as there are no big industrial enterprises in the vicinity. Problematic areas are air and litter pollution as many tourists visit the place leaving behind exhaust gases and rubbish on the ground. Wildlife In the forests near Poku there is comparatively rich in wildlife. The only problem seems to be cutting trees which may leave the local animals without their usual habitat. Recycling Recycling of paper and glass is very well organised in the area of Poku. More problematic seems to be recycling of plastic and chemicals as there are no special containers for that kind of waste. Conclusion and recommendations

always great tourist magnets. It's good when your hometown has some interest groups and possibilities to enjoy person's hobbies. For the kids and adolescents there should be enough training circules and activities like cinema and places where they can meet and play some games like table tennis or billiards. Every person who lives in the city can protect hometown from pollution in their own way. First of all, it is necessary to sort their rubbish. It's good for global health and ecosystem. There should be posters in the city, which propagets living healthy and economically. I really hope that people will start thinking about it and change their attitude about their hometown as soon as possible.

Tourism

What are the pros and cons of it? Should we limit the flow of tourists or let them come and sometimes stay forever? As I mentioned before, one of the most positive thing about tourism is money. Basicly tourists creat jobs and give people a chance to do something with their lives. The money and taxes, that all the hotels and companys pay, help to develop the local community. Tourism is also a reason to keep the crime down and the streets clean of rubbish. As a tourist it is also a way to learn about other cultures. It is possible to go almost averywhere and to do almost everything. As the tsunami few months ago proved can total destruction of tourism-industry be quite devastating to victim-country´s economy. The fact that tourism is the main income of a country may one day become a huge problem. Besides that there is also another problem. Sometimes some people just act being a tourist. Their actual intention is to find a job and to

Kohtla-Järve and Maardu. Our water is also polluted. We can't drink it, because there are a lot of chemical ingredients. In some cities water is chlorine a lot. As I know a lot of waste waters are putting out to see, near in the beach. In witness of it is appearance of blue seaweeds. In my opinion these thing is very dangerous and harmful for health. As I mentioned before we have also recycling problem. I think that today that problem should be smaller because people should to recycle rubbish. Today we have different containers, separately for paper, biodegradable things and bottles. I can't understand why people don't do it. Is it really so hard? I think no. To conclude, all people, nation, rich or poor, have great responsibility to challenge the problems that confront our country and the world on the whole. I am of the opinion that when people start understand that many things depend on our actions then environmental problem will become smaller

Books are not absolutely dead things

human being is the smartest on this planet and can make big things, but this is all transient. Humans die. But if human creates something, for example, a book, then it may live centuries. Books are like the continuation of the book writers life. Human's mind can forget, but if the book is in the bookshelf and your name is on the cover, then it will not disappear anywhere. You may "live" thousands of years. The thing what changes everything, is the content of the book. There may be a lot of rubbish between the covers, but also intriguing stories. The book is a good way of expressing your thoughts and feelings. And the positive side is, that you do not have to speak. You put your thoughts on the paper and just publish it. But publishing may sometimes make a lot of trouble. Books have caused big conflicts. From the past, we know a lot of cases, in which the books have been burnt and the writers been killed. That shows clearly, that books are not absolutely dead things

In my view, government money shouldn't be used to support the Arts. I'm afraid I can't agree. Public support for the Arts is the hallmark of a civilized society. Surely, the technology for all this isn't going to be very user-friendly. On the contrary. There'll be different levels of user-friendliness for different users. .... it's impossible to generalize about why people prefer married to single status. Rubbish! It must be possible to compare living together with someone to living on your own. What about the question of independence? 6.2 Using irony to express disagreement Besides, the production lines are often highly mechanized. Come off it! Agriculture in the Third World is still fairly labour intensive. Spend more time in Rwanda and you'll understand what I mean. Come on! The films we see on TV don't go that far. At least there's some censorship.

Bullying

Sometimes the best thing you can do for a person who is being bullied is just to be there for him or her and be a friend. Whether this means agreeing to walk home with him or her after school, sitting with him or her on the bus or at lunch, trying to include him or her in your school or social activities, or just spending some time with him or her and trying to understand what he or she is going through. I know what feeling you have when someones is calling you with nasty names or talking rubbish about your parents. It will make such an anger inside you that you really want to kill that person who is bullying you. It's hard to talk about serious things with adults sometimes, but they can help to stop bullying. Tell an adult that you trust and can talk to your parents, your teacher, your best friends or even your neighbour. If you've told a grown-up before and they haven't done anything about it, tell someone else. Having someone else there to support you can make it a lot less scary

CLOSING KALARAND FOR PUBLIC

Over the years a sense of community has been created. People of Kalamaja have organised summer beach parties and sauna parties there, with temporary sauna tents. In 2011, when Tallinn was a European Capital of Culture, the authors of Urban Intervention built changing cabins, benches and terraces to Kalarand. The beach area was cleared, the scrub trimmed and dustbins were provided for the summer season. The seabed of the bathing site was cleared of rubbish and pieces of concrete, water samples were taken and analysis results were posted on a notice board. (Lift11, 2011) All of this was made by initiative of locals. While the site was cleaner and more in order, Kalarand still remained as a non-public bathing beach and it was not included in the list of the Tallinn official beaches. Therefore there was no lifeguard present and swimming was strictly at own responsibility.

Anthropology and Tourism

Jameson (1994) names key factor for effective cultural interaction: better planning and management. The tourism strategies should be linked with community or economic development plans. This means that one should complete another, unlikely so many destinations, where tourism and community live their own separate lives. Like in Bali, where the island is struggling to cope with tourist numbers, and due to that, the paradise island is drowning in rubbish (Surfer, 2014). It is, a tourism board’s mission to communicate with both the governing bodies and with tourists. There cannot be a real cultural interaction between tourists and hosts, when one is destroying another. Another way to deal with cultural interaction between tourists and hosts would be for a host country, to integrate their culture norms, beliefs and landscapes to be a tourism attraction. In other words, turn their “weaknesses” into strengths

Heaven preserve me from that kind of honour! I like my virtue not to be a vixen, And I believe a quiet cold rebuff No less effective to repulse a lover. ORGON I know . . . and you can't throw me off the scent. ELMIRE Once more, I am astounded at your weakness; I wonder what your unbelief would answer, If I should let you see we've told the truth? ORGON See it? ELMIRE Yes. ORGON Nonsense. ELMIRE Come! If I should find A way to make you see it clear as day? ORGON All rubbish. ELMIRE What a man! But answer me. I'm not proposing now that you believe us; But let's suppose that here, from proper hiding, You should be made to see and hear all plainly; What would you say then, to your man of virtue? ORGON Why, then, I'd say . . . say nothing. It can't be. ELMIRE Your error has endured too long already, And quite too long you've branded me a liar. I must at once, for my own satisfaction, Make you a witness of the things we've told you. ORGON Amen

etc. but primarily, the state is responsible. Strict liability is used all damages regarding the fall, the state is still liable. States are liable for the damage caused by their space objects. Convention on international liability for damage caused by space objects Convention on registration of objects launched into outer space states shall avoid harmful contamination of space and celestial bodies problematic, hard to apply. There is a lot of space rubbish (remnants of old satellites), no mechanism to avoid this and to clean the space. It is more like a nice desire responsibility of the states works pretty well. E.g. during cold war soviet union by mistake dropped a missile on Canada (fortunately north Canada, densely populated) and Russia took responsibility and cleaned it. Agreement governing the activities of states on the moon and other celestial bodies.

Especially enlightening on the im- portance of scarcity in the collectibles market is the phenomenon of the "precious mistake." Flawed items-a blurred stamp or double-struck coin-are sometimes the most valued of all. Thus, a stamp carrying a three-eyed likeness of George Washing- ton is anatomically incorrect, aesthetically unappealing, and yet highly sought after. There is instructive irony here: Imperfections that would otherwise make for rubbish make for prized possessions when they bring along an abiding scarcity. Since my own encounter with the scarcity principle-that opportunities seem more valuable to us when they are less available-I have begun to notice its influence over a whole range of my actions. For instance, I routinely will interrupt an inter- esting face-to-face conversation to answer the ring of an unknown caller. In such

be cheaper and more positive. Result! Now you've done your trial, and despite your best e orts things have come out negative. What can you do? Well, if your trial has been good overall, but has thrown out a few negative results, you could try an old trick: don't draw attention to the disappointing data by putting it on a graph. Mention it brie y in the text, and ignore it when drawing your conclusions. (I'm so good at this I scare myself. Comes from reading too many rubbish trials.) If your results are completely negative, don't publish them at all, or publish them only after a long delay. This is exactly what the drug companies did with the data on SSRI antidepressants: they hid the data suggesting they might be dangerous, and they buried the data showing them to perform no better than placebo. If you're really clever and have money to burn, then after you get disappointing data, you could do some more trials with the same protocol in the hope that
